#tumblr is so confusing

clown collection

kind of long post?

sorry the pictures are shitty

so, i've been collecting clowns and jesters for years. i wanna say four or five years now? and i just kind of wanted to show off my collection! i just joined tumblr like two hours ago, but already most of the clown and jester dolls i see are the smaller ones with the glass faces. which is understandable, because those ones are adorable. but i like to collect all types of clowns, whether it's those dolls, much larger dolls, ceramics, or just any clown knicknack thing really. i'm just going to start saying clown now instead of clown and jester, it's less to type and you know what i mean.

i really want to ramble about my collection, but i have stuff to do so if anyone has any questions please ask and i would love to answer them! (sorry if this is unorganized or anything, again i just joined tumblr like two hours ago)

EDIT: i forgot to mention the random tree trunks from adventure time tea pot i painted forever ago, don't mind her. she's just chillin.

Most people will tell you that giving your pets any kind of medication in pill form is an absolute nightmare, meanwhile I have the exact opposite problem.

A friend of mine was watching my cat Mim while I was travelling this weekend and when he went to split her weekly allergy pill (made to split into 4 small pills when you press down on it with a finger) to give her the usual 1/4, he fumbled it and sent it skittering across the floor where my ridiculous pill-loving menace of cat immediately gobbled down the whole thing, leading to me receiving a panicked phone call at 11 pm from said friend who was understandably freaking out (everyone’s fine, a single high dose won’t cause any problems as long as it’s just this once).

Behold: the villain herself, basking in the success of her crime (she’d be planning her next pill-related heist but, as you can see if you look closely, there’s there’s nothing but elevator music behind those eyes)

okay so I'm a grandma when it comes to technology and tumblr is sometimes SO confusing. I need help. please someone help

when I reblog my own post to reply to a comment and a tag, why does tumblr sometimes post the whole fic without the cut with my reblog at the bottom?? and sometimes it posts it fine, with the cut??

I'm trying to reply to reblogs and it was all fine but for some reason now when I reply, it reblogs the whole post without the cut?? it's very annoying because I don't want everyone to have to scroll for days when my whole post won't cut

Hi it's just to let you know that the official romanization of Revaan's name is Raverne ! Also they have romanized Baul's name to Baur !

Twst coming back at us again with the least expected romanization! thank you everybody (oh god my inbox) (no it's great, I literally asked for this and the reactions have been INCREDIBLE, thank you all!)

I do like Raverne though, I think it's got a nice fancy sound to it! (I had kinda suspected it was going to be an R instead of an L, so the fact that it's SO close to Laverne except for that is hilarious to me personally.) and Dragoneye Duke is honestly probably the best translation for his title, I wasn't envying the localizers that one. :') Baur instead of Baul I was NOT expecting, but in retrospect I think his name's supposed to be a reference to the Bauru crocodile, so that actually makes way more sense!

someone else also said Meleanor has become Maleanor, which is the REALLY weird one to me, because I was so surprised it was written as Mel instead of Mal in the first place?! oh god no I can't decide which one I like better. 😭 (I wonder if they might change it to Mal...they have made romanization changes before) (like I remember House of Distraction being corrected to House of Destruction in Playful Land) (I did check and she's still Mel for now, but I dunno, they might Mal her up and some point and save me from having to make a decision about which one to use) (HECK I CAN'T DECIDE)
