Wonderful Things That May Or May Not Be Wonderful Turkey Day is coming up soon and I want to write a wonderful post about turkey. However, I'm not going to talk about Turkey the bird, Turkey the delicious thanksgiving meal, or even Turkey the Middle Eastern nation. I am going to briefly talk about the greatest thing that has ever come from turkey (debatable but just go with it), the smoked turkey leg. A staple of renaissance fairs and southern kitchens for years before being popularized by the happiest place on earth, Disneyland, and migrating to other amusement parks afterwards (I remember Six Flags in Agawam used to have a wicked Smoked Turkey Leg and Skillet Potatoes combo meal) . But in essence, that doesn't matter. The true heart of the matter is that they are filling, portable, super delicious, and make collard greens better. That is why Smoked Turkey Legs are wonderful. They are just that good.

Whichever way you choose to prepare them, roasted turkey legs are sure to be a hit with family and friends.
So without any delay let us know how to make easy roasted turkey legs recipe.
Rost Turkey Legs Cooking Time:
Cooking time for roasted turkey legs will depend on the size of the legs and the temperature of your oven. As a general rule, you should plan on roasting turkey legs for about 45 minutes to 1 hour at 425 degrees F (220 degrees C). However, the best way to know when the legs are done is to use a meat thermometer.
The internal temperature of the meat should reach at least 165 degrees F (74 degrees C) in order to be safe to eat. I recommend using a meat thermometer to ensure that the legs are cooked to the proper temperature.
