hi! do you happen to know what the life and death title font is, I've heard it's custom made or something but there must be some similar ones out there

I did find two, which I mentioned in a reblog of my Twilight Font Post

But these are legitimately the best I could find. I've been meaning to start the hunt again but haven't really had time

I thought Time was the straight main to the chain's shenanigans but in reality he used to be just like them and so doesn't personally see anything really wrong with their behaviour.

However where he's matured into simply acknowledging the outsider 'normal' view, Warriors internalised it before even donning the hero's scarf and has always been too conscious of how he's perceived.

I think I've said it before but Warriors didn't have a traditional adventure like the others, cities and towns aren't just pitstops for him so he respects infrastructure and social decorum. Plus he's used to minding his reputation and maintaining his perfect image. Whereas most of the others had the freedom to act pretty much like cryptids, showing up out of nowhere, spawning local legends and then disappearing after doing only slightly more good than harm.

Even without that pressure Warriors is still holding himself to that standard and even extended it over the others. Had they actually done something weird Time would've have called them out on it, but he didn't in this case because a bit of parkour is like...fine? It's really not that big a deal. They didn't break anything. I just find this aspect of the Captain's character interesting.

I saw @coffeeandcalligraphy @encrucijada and @cuntylittlesalmon post edits of their projects and I just had to make my own, it was too tempting!

Let me tell you, I worked on this for far too long trying to find the right fonts and screenshots (damn you, clip studio.) I wanted to make this look like a movie straight out of the early 2000s.

The gif is from the movie Constantine (2005), and the other pics for the episode thumbnails are from Constantine, The Haunting (1999) and Stoker (2013). The rest are just edited pics from pinterest.

The episode titles (AKA chapter titles) and their basic descriptions are subject to change over time but for now, that is pretty much a sneak peek of the first 1/3 of the book.

So ignoring how utterly heart-crushing this panel is, there’s something interesting I noticed.

Twilight’s words... they didn’t look quite right to me.

So I reread the entire update, looking closely at whenever Twilight spoke, and I realized... his words are in a slightly different font.

You can see it better when there’s his words next to one of the other Link’s, but it’s noticeable all the same. It’s more slanted, and slightly fuzzy almost, like his voice is shaking.

Just another detail to show how utterly exhausted he is from fighting this injury :(
