9. Short term goals… what do you hope to complete this week or in January?

This week: [redacted fic] is my first priority! Unfortunately I think the 400ish words I have so far need to be scrapped, but I’ve come up with another spin on the concept which might work better.

January: hmm. Definitely another couple of parts of tfs. Mayyybe sore must be the storm if I have time, because it’s been languishing in the WIPs folder for ages and I want to clear it out. But I think tfs is definitely the main project of the month!

11. Would you like to try any new fanfic genres or tropes this year?

I never really think in terms of genres and tropes, so this is always a tough one to answer! I’ve read some excellent fake academia fics lately and really enjoyed them, so I think I might want to dip my toes into that. [redacted fic], which I need to work on instead of procrastinating on tumblr, is also a trope I’ve never tried before which is quite exciting!

2. Did you reread anything? What?

Yes! A couple I actually forgot I read this year. But when I was trying to the habit of listening to audio books before bed (failed) and because it was one of my home school book club picks before construction started at the library I reread Charlotte's Web in January. I also reread To Marry Medusa - Theodore Sturgeon back in June to "research" hiveminds when I started getting into the stobin hivemind fic I was writing. I started rereading Guards, Guards - Terry Pratchett in October maybe but set it aside cause I had some library holds come in, I may finish it before the year ends, we'll see.

17. Did any books surprise you with how good they were?

I finally pushed past how intimidating the Locked Tomb series is to me and read Gideon the Ninth this year, it fully changed my brain chemistry. I kinda thought it would be one of those books that's good but maybe a little over hyped but it was stunning. I've been slowly working my way through book 2 a little bit at a time just because it is dense in a good way, but I doubt I finish it before Monday. Also I listened the the audiobooks of all the Murderbot diaries books (except the one that came out this year my library hold has yet to come in) also immaculate. Science Fiction can be hit or miss for me I tend more toward Fantasy but they were just *chef's kiss*

i've been told my mouth and tongue, kisses, feel good and are really cute. i don't have much confidence with it, bc my mouth is pretty small >.< but yeah ♡

68: Do you like wild sex or romantic sex?

i mean, i honestly think both are kinda extreme. when i consider each one, it doesn't really seem good. but i would say romantic sex is way more interesting. i don't like being treated roughly, getting pounded or penetrated (most times). i'm very particular about how and when i enjoy feeling masochistic. romantic sex allows more room to be doted on, cared for in the softer ways i like (not necessarily in the vanilla sense, but with a softer touch and approach throughout).

i talked about it on here before but — giving people the same amount of space to surprise me as i give them to disappoint me. i had a very shit year in so many ways but i also had a very surprising year in a lot of ways, and it was a good reminder for me.

14. If you could see one of your fics adapted into a visual medium, such as comic or film, which fan fic would you pick?

It would have to be the fairest stars! Of course I never stop thinking about this amazing brilliant beautiful comic of part 10, and in general I think tfs is the most cinematic of my fics. It’s also by far the longest, which helps.
