The Battle Nexus but it's exclusively Red Son's from across the multiverse. King Red of course is the heavy hitter, and all the heroic Red's seem to be looking forward to kicking his ass (esp. Monkie Kid Red, the feral gremlin himself) Prince Red refuses to fight bc this whole thing is dumb and gives Dragon Red an easy win for the first round. Time Travel Red also thinks this is dumb, but also REALLY wants to face King Red for a rematch. Classic Red is so embarrassingly dtf(ight) everyone here.

This one is pretty easy to figure out.. let’s be frank: Classic Red Son may be a feral gremlin with a maniacal laugh who is so SO ready to throw down, but he’s also never beaten the Monkie Kid in a fight. Even if this isn’t actually MK, this canon version hasn’t got what it takes to bring down the Monkie Kid.

These two have met before and they hate each other. This is the kind of round you go into where you know the two fighters have a bitter rivalry and you’re cheering for the underdog because you really want to see that guy who’s won like four championships and is a total dick about it get knocked down a peg.. unfortunately, Time Travel Red is the underdog for a reason. He couldn’t beat Demon King Red by himself before, and though he definitely would do better at a second chance, King Red also has the advantage of having fought him before. So it’s no contest..

Next: Prince Red vs. Dragon Red from the Role Swap AU

You’re absolutely right, Anon. Prince Red finds this whole thing barbaric and isn’t interested in fighting. Dragon Red rushes up to Prince Red and gets one good swipe in (and also he’s pretty sure the prince dodged it and he only grazed him) and he dramatically falls and starts whining about how he’s lost and ohhh what a shaaaame... too bad, he’ll have to sit out the rest of this embarrassing display of interdimensional violence. He’s sooooo sad about that, really... Dragon Red is quietly furious about this. He was actually really looking forward to showing off his skills.

Second round!! Monkie Kid Red vs. Demon King Red

Now this... this is an interesting match up. I think upon first seeing this role swapped version of himself Red would be extremely confused. He looks a little like MK... who he loves and would never harm but it’s... him??? This initial confusion definitely gives Monkie Kid Red the advantage to start. He also has an advantage in that in his universe, the role of Red Son is filled by Mei who is extremely competent, so he’s had some experience with scary, overpowered fire demons and how to fight them. Plus this guy seems like a jerk and he really REALLY wants to beat him!! However, I think the more time went on and the more King Red got to see of his opponent, the more he would come to understand that this is NOT his MK. Not even close. It’s just another weak, stupid version of himself like that last one.. even worse though because it’s like this one is pretending to be MK and that infuriates King Red. Once he gets that surge of anger and starts fighting for realsies, it’s over. The thing that puts him over the top is that King Red has been facing off against his MK very frequently for awhile now, he knows all the tricks Sun Wukong teaches and is really good at dodging those strikes while getting in close, and has also been training on how to turn them around on his opponent and subdue them without doing any actually physical harm... buuuut in this case he doesn’t care if he’s doing any harm so instead of being gently pinned, Monkie Kid Red gets his face slammed into the dirt.

Final contest!! Demon King Red vs. Dragon Red

Unfortunately for Dragon Red, who was looking to show off his skills, I don’t have enough Reds to make this an even bracket, so he gets to skip a turn and go straight to the finals and fight King Red. Of course this is a heckin incredible battle and he gets to show off his skills soooo much. Demon King Red is going to be difficult for him.. the role of Red Son in his universe is filled by MK who is not exactly the most ferocious or competent in that role.. On the other hand, Dragon Red has been a dutiful disciple of his family’s heritage his whole life and has been wielding the dragon sword for much longer than the canon Mei, so when he goes up against King Red he’s definitely going to pose a challenge. These two are a pretty good match up to be honest, and I had a hard time picking a winner outright.... I think what it’s going to come down to in the end is that the first Red that Dragon Red fought against was Prince Red who literally just rolled over for him, so he might go into this with an undue boost of confidence, and also means he didn’t get a chance to warm up against a real fire demon... so, while he’s a very competent fighter, it might take him a minute to adapt to fighting a fire demon who is so much more of a threat which could cost him.

Also keeping in mind, we’ve never gotten to see Mei and Red Son fight straight up. They only exchanged blows a little in episode 8 and that wasn’t so much a battle as it was a car chase. Red did come out on top in that instance though, soooooo...

“Stupid pretty-boy,” Akane mumbled to himself as he marched through the hallways of Kamome Gakuen. 

His rival, Minamoto Teru, was deceivingly sly. No one would have ever expected the school prince to have such a secretly dark side of him. Akane shivered.

A couple weeks back during the semester exams, Teru successfully provoked Akane into competing with him in an academic contest; in which the winner (whoever had the most points on their exams), got to command the loser to do anything. 

Naturally, Akane refused with a blunt, “How about no?”, but after Teru threatened to “confess” to his beloved Aoi, Akane had no choice but to give in.

And now,

It was time for Akane’s revenge. 

Sneakily tip-toeing around the campus during lunch, Akane whipped his head back and forth to find that evil Teru. 

“Aha!” 

There he was... talking to a girl?

‘Wait.. who's that?’ 

Akane racked his brain, trying to remember where he’s seen you. Wait- now that he’s thinking about it, he does remember seeing you hanging out with Teru pretty frequently, sharing laughs and cheerful smiles. 

He hid behind a wall while resting his chin in his hand. 

‘Could it be,’ he crept out to take another peek at you and Teru, narrowing his eyes as he noticed that you both were awfully close to each other. 

‘-that Teru has a crush?’

Oh, yes. 

This was the lead that Akane needed in order to set his revenge plan in place. Giggling like a little gremlin, he tip-toed back into the school.

A couple days passed, and now Teru and Akane were sorting through Student Council papers. 

“Say, Teru,” Akane started, sifting his pile absentmindedly. 

“Hmm?”

“Who’s that girl that you’ve been talking to lately? Was it.. [Name]-san?” 

Teru froze, the sound of rustling papers coming to an abrupt halt. 

His narrowed eyes looked up at Akane’s preoccupied expression. “..Why does it matter?” 

“Oh, because-” Akane leaned back into his chair, stretching his arms over his head while smirking. “I’ve begun to accept the fact that Aoi will always reject me.. and [Name] is pretty cute, don’t you think?”

“Akane, you’re just joking with me, aren’t you?” Teru tried to bite back the venom in his tone. 

He continued, “And if you’re trying to trick me, it won’t work.” 

But Teru’s cold body language said otherwise. It wasn’t difficult to see that he was creasing his paper with a tight grip, or how his mood instantly turned sour.

Akane’s words were clearly having an effect on Teru, whether he liked it or not. 

‘Interesting.’ Akane observed Teru’s body language out of the corner of his eye. He knew that he was bound to hit a soft spot for Teru, but to find it so quickly? Akane struck gold. He had no idea that Teru was this... sensitive when it came to you. 

“I mean, Teru.. You’re not jealous, are you?”

The boy in question brushed it off too quickly, stating, 

“Jealous? That’s childish. I’m not jealous.” He stiffly held his hole puncher, using a little more force than necessary to clip holes into his pile of paper.

Teru looked like he was trying to convince himself more than he was trying to convince Akane. 

Akane’s “plan to confess to you” was just a bluff; no matter how hard he tried, he would never be able to fall out of love with his lovely Aoi. But in order to get back at Teru, he wouldn’t mind becoming friends with you! It was win-win.

He always imagined Teru as this untouchable, charismatic leader who would rather prioritize his studies or exorcism over a potential relationship. So why was it so easy for you to break down his walls? 

“Hi Teru!” you poked your head out from the classroom door frame, a bubbly vibe around you. 

In the blink of an eye, Teru’s bad mood vanished- it was as if he wasn’t even sulking in the first place. As Akane watched Teru, he could tell that Teru wasn’t even faking it either; he was truly just happy to see you. 

“[Name]! What are you doing here?” Teru said with a gentle smile.

He kicked Akane under the table as a warning. “oww-”

“I was just on my way to my club and I wanted to say hello.” you beamed. 

You noticed that Akane was there too, who looked pretty frazzled. “Oh wait, I was actually looking for you, Akane!” 

“Oh~? You were looking for me?” He smirked, locking eyes with Teru before shrinking away under his murderous gaze. ‘..Scary’

“I-I mean, uh.. Is there anything you need, [Name]-san?” 

“Well,” You sat on top of a nearby desk and swung your legs lightly, oblivious to the thick tension in the room. “You told me a few days ago how you were willing to tutor me on some subjects? I really want to raise my score for next semester.” 

Teru not-so-sneakily shot daggers at Akane. The red-haired boy gulped. 

“R-Right! We can talk about scheduling a time after this! Hah..” 

"Really? Ah, thank you so much Akane!” you hummed with a bright smile.“I owe you one.”

“And that is,” you glanced at the clock, “-all of the time that I have right now. I guess I’ll talk to you guys later!” you waved at them, and with that, you padded out of the door. 

Teru waved back with a fond smile. “Bye, [Name]-san.” 

And like a switch, he flipped his mood instantly. 

“Akane,” he gave his most sickeningly-sweet smile to Akane, who in contrast, looked like he was going to bolt. 

‘Shit, I’m done for-’

“We are going to have a decent, thorough discussion later, aren’t we?” 

“.......y-yup..”

You peered up at the sky with a slight frown, eyeing the dark clouds. Maybe you should have brought an umbrella, just in case? It looked like it could rain any minute.

 You wrapped your school jacket a little tighter around yourself as you searched for Akane in front of the school.

‘He told me to wait for him right around.. here!’

And to your pleasant surprise, you found... Teru standing underneath the tree that you and Akane decided to meet under. 

The agreed plan was to then head to a cafe and go over some of the school material, and then discuss when to schedule the next tutoring session. So what was Teru doing, waiting patiently in Akane’s place?

“Teru?” you approached him with a slightly tilted head. “Where’s Akane?” 

“Hey. Akane wasn’t feeling very well, so he asked me to take his place instead. Is that fine with you?” he questioned softly, brushing a hand through his locks. 

You furrowed your brow. “Damn, I hope he feels better soon. And it’s no problem! Let’s get going, yeah?” you said.

Teru nodded eagerly and walked in step with you, brushing his arm with yours. While you were distracted, he smiled victoriously to himself. Yes, he may have threatened Akane (or ‘highly discouraged’, as Teru put it), but in the end, it all worked out fine! Now, he got to spend some more time with you, and also didn’t to worry about Akane’s cunning trickery. Perfect!

‘I’ll find some way to make it up to him after this..’ he thought.

You felt a drop of rain fall on your cheek, and you blinked up at the clouds once again. “Rain? Crap, I didn’t bring an umbrella with me-” 

“One sec, I have one in my bag. We can share it.” Teru looked calm on the outside, but internally he was cheering. 

As he held the umbrella over the two of you, you seemed to ponder about something for a moment before asking, “..I-Is it all right if I scoot in a little closer, Teru?” 

A thousand times yes- “Ah, of course.”

Here you both were, each with a slight blush dusting over your faces, and with equally thudding hearts. 

He glanced down at you with butterflies in his chest, taking his arm out of the sleeve of his jacket before draping it over your shoulders. 

“It’s getting a little chilly, so keep warm, [Name].”

You leaned more into his side, hiding your smile. “..Thank you, Teru!”

Okay, he might have been a just a little jealous earlier. 

 But now that you were at his side, he couldn’t have been more content.

What was your first impression about every character in mdzs ?

And also who do you think you resemble the most ?

Ahhh good question!

Mostly bc my memory is crap XD. But I'll try my best to remember! Full disclaimer tho, the first version of mdzs that I consumed was donghua, so that's where my first impressions came from.

- WWX: I'm honestly not the kind of person to fall first and foremost for a protagonist (it's been years since the last time a protag was my fave), but I genuinely liked this dude from day one. I thought he was fun and a bit (lot) unhinged, but legit smart and capable without being smug and annoying about it. And for the record, I still like him lots!

- LWJ: That entrance, man. That was cool af XD. But I do remember thinking that I needed to see more of him to form an opinion bc the silent, mysterious type has never been particularly interesting to me.

- LZS & LJY: Good Boys! Both of them. One was a polite darling, and the other a chaotic little gremlin that worked together well and did their best ;u;.

- JL: Bit of a brat, ngl. I legit thought this was going to be the Draco Malfoy "my uncle will hear of this" kid. And he was XD. But I'm glad he wasn't just a One Trick Pony character.

- JC: Another badass entrance! Gotta confess the horny overpowered the cleary asshole vibe he was exuding. I thought he was going to be an actual villain too. But since I'm a villain fucker I had no issues with that whatsoever. I even thought that he was the dude I was going to root for throughout the story (spoiled: I did).

- WN: Oh, I remember thinking "dude, this guy must have such a badass past. Surely someone so powerful named Ghost General must have been a real powerhouse. Can't wait to see his story of epicness" :').

- NHS: I was honestly not impressed lol. I thought that this was going to be the comic relief character that everybody likes but doesn't do much apart from being cute and silly. Also the exposure character bc he always explained everything that was being talked about in a scene. FORESHADOWING.

- LXC: Regal man, good wingman for bro. The big brother that solves your bullshit and is always kind and full of Wisdom(tm). If he says something, it must be true. Liked him right away.

- JFM: He is nice, I like this guy. His parenting seems questionable tho, but he seems to have the best intentions at heart.

-YZY: Bitch. But damn, she has a point or two.

- JYL: Precious angel that must be protected but she is totally not going to get protected T-T.

- JZX: Even before I put two and two together that this was JL's father, I remember thinking this was another "my father will hear of this" brat. Runs in the family, I guess lol.

- NMJ: Oh boi. This one I have the clearest memory of all. I saw him appear on screen and I automatically thought "this is him, isn't it? This is daddy". I was right, I was so right.

- WC: Not impressed either, typical asshole villain that is going to be more a pain in the ass than a real threat. Same with girlfriend whose name I can never remember.

- WRH: Hot DILF Villain. Legit threatening and scary, good bad guy.

- WQ: Rough love there, but she has a good head on her shoulders and has balls. Wen Queen it is.

- JGS: Curse donghua for making everybody hot XD. I honestly thought this dude was not going to be of much relevance, he seemed the scaredy, play it safe kind that would get destroyed in a real conflict.

- MY/JGY: First thought was "aww he's cute". Second thought was "please don't be a bad guy, look at you, all milfy and smily, trying to help common ppl and do good". Third thought was "ok you shady, but also still cute and milfy, so I'll probably end up staning you anyways". Take a wild guess on what happened XD.

- XY: Whoa, you cray-cray. Didn't like him much at first tbh, he seemed to be cruel for no reason and I never liked the Evil for the Sake of It trope, nor characters that were nothing but sassy bastards. He grew on me tho.

- XXC: OMG you are another angel that must be protected! You deserved so much better wtf!!

- SL: He deserved better right away tf!

- A-Qing: I only remember pitying her, she was living in a psychological horror all those years.

These are all the characters I remember having an impression on, others I didn't give much thought or cared enough about to put real effort into what I thought of them, at first at least.

Now that I think about it, most my first impressions remained the same in essence as the story progressed, sans an exception or two. But for the most part, it seems like my opinion on these characters got more nuanced and complete without changing much.

As to who I think I resemble the most. Hmm, that's a complicated one bc I don't think I'm particularly similar to anybody. If I absolutely had to pick only one tho, I'd say LXC. I try my best to be nice and see things from different perspectives, but I also suck at handling conflict, and would give good solid advice that I'm definitely not going to apply to myself bc it's easier to see others' problems, but my own? If I don't talk about them, they are not there :))))

i drew my wh oc!!

i’ve decided on the name ivory since the previous one was a trigger name for a friend of mine, gonna talk about her under the cut :D long post !

her name is ivory, and as it says, she’s a purebred! she’s around 2000 years old but still going strong. very kind personality - picture zizel and lime combined except she’s a little more awkward - and talkative. she displays more of a kind side around humans, and is always willing to discuss things such as negative ad positive emotions, how they impact others and things like that. and no she doesn’t need glasses but she likes them

she’s a bit of a teaser sort! centuries of interacting with humans has led her to be very adapt with reading faces + recognizing insecurities in other people... so yea she do got the ability to hit it where it hurts. but she only really uses this ability for lighthearted teasing, with rouge being a primary target

(i drew zizel without a ref lol) as you can see she is very tall. 6′6. and she uses this to her advantage as well - she’ll pick up zizel and put her hand on rouges head (which rouge does not like). if you’re curious here’s a height reference:

So yeah zizel only reaches her chest. tiny.

another thing to add is that she has these spicy tentacles as you can see in this drawing:

and these can be hidden at will, though she prefers to keep them out as it’s a pain to keep them secret (similarly to how demons can show a proper form in the day but it’s a nusiance). these tentacles are as a result of working as a guarding monster for a couple hundred years, defending an artifact that the demons enjoy using. as such, she’s out of practice with her human form, and if she’s careless, she’ll begin to transform, and trying to keep the monster at bay can! really hurt! because there’s always the inner desire to have said monster get free (like how demons are naturally breeded to love negativity) and trying to fight the desire isn’t something she has practice with.

and so, she’ll have these ‘outbursts’ where she’ll leak and black wounds will appear - much like noel when he’s trying to fight his transformation as well.

i haven’t written much for this character yet, but i’m planning on inserting a hater demon into ivory’s story - i think i may have talked about her before? cerise, a 13 year old hater demon who had no happiness similar to lime. since she was still young, ivory had decided to take her under her wing - not out of compassion at the time, but because she didn’t wish for cerise to fall for other demons tricks and how to obey the rules. though advancing the relationship, cerise had admitted to ivory that she makes her feel happy. “i never had any happy memories... but you give me some, even though this place is far from good.” this REALLY threw ivory off. demons causing other demons positive emotions??? what??? this was not her intent. alas, she had grown attached to the younger hater, only for the hater to.... fall for another demons tricks. she was framed for the modification of a sacred artifact, and ivory had no choice but to banish her to the other hell.  ivory still wonders how she is. she doesn’t want to bring her out temporarily, however, because she knows things aren’t good. and in truth, a part of her is scared that cerise would’ve been desensitized and hardened by the deeper hell, and so she decided to try not to think about her. (though she still wanted to honour cerise, so she wears the flower crown that she made for her. (the heart locket was from susie)) im not quite sure how she and susie had gotten to form the pact but if i ever do figure that part out i’ll let you guys know about it :)

miscellaneous headcanons:

 she and zizel are quite close, as they worked together for a short time before ivory had to go to another station. they’re penpals tho zizel will sit in ivorys lap and drink tea and ivory will carry zizel on her shoulders it’s always a fun time

she despises the higher class demons with a PASSION because they’re known for not giving two shits about stuff and she’ll ramble about it angrily

rouge is below her in terms of hierarchy but she doesn’t really mind being berated by the red-head. if anything, it’s funny to her

she firmly believes that showing kindness shouldn’t be strange for demons. she wishes that more demons would help eachother - mainly haters - because she thinks that they can help eachother with their pain. though she doesnt have much room to talk on the matter since she’s a purebred herself

her tentacles (she has about 4) are pointy at the ends, and they’re warm and. sludgey to the touch (like mud). they move involuntarily and tend to just grab things she subconsciously likes (zizel is a victim of this) and whack people when she’s standing next to them. she’s getting better at controlling this though

thinks lime is a tad strange but absolutely adores the cute aesthetic thing she has going on. she values charlottes opinions as well, and likes to talk with her about just anything.

she thinks claire is a bit stupid sometimes but one day she and claire spent like hours talking about feminine things like cute dresses and flower crowns and ivory wished she clda given claire a chance to try on some of the dresses she had kept from her time in the mansion.

absolutely terrified of sirius thinks he’s a tiny gremlin. one time tried to give him a hug bc he was kind and he stomped on her foot not a good time

she’s eh about wilardo. doesnt think that he’s as interesting as the others, but will respect him. he’s okay

she’s not used to like socializing so she talks too much and doesnt know how to continue a conversation and always ends up embarrassing herself

ok i want to talk about my cookie run ocs so i will but below the cut because thats just how it be sdkljklsjklea (im going to TRY not blab out everything i think so then if you want you can send asks)

FROG!! 

ok so hes a liddol baby . he likes to hang out with sand ! theyre best friends and sometimes go to beaches and other places together. he’s very sweet and a little quiet. just a baby.

speaking of sand here they are!!! they dont talk much but when they do it sometimes freaks cookies out due to it being a drippy sand hole like

frog doesnt care about it too much . sometimes he tries to put sticks or something in their mouth just to see what’d happen. sand just eats the stick

rabbit’s foot is ! very lucky to say the least. hes also pretty gullible and easily fall for tricks but due to his luck they never seem to work out. very rarely does something harmful happen to him, though things like disappointing or saddening other cookies can happen. 

SPEAKING of disappointing or saddening cookies... fun dip! he’s often disappointed due to his tricks not working on rabbit’s foot but that only motivates him more. someone once said he looks like he’d be gumballs brother and honestly that’d be a chaotic pair of siblings (while im hesitant about canon relations with ocs..... who cares????). so yeah fun dip and gumball are brothers. 

rabbit’s foot is very much like a young child (though he is aware of a lot of things, he just has a personality alike to a young child. not a brain alike to a young child) and fun dip is a goofball prankster.

almond is very grumpy and they want to be a powerful wizard . honestly if they knew how to contact de or find her they would. also they are very emotional but tend to bottle it up (becuase in their tags on their ref its like “bad boy or crybaby” and i was like ‘’ok both’’). 

they dont hang around cookies often

and now for your local gamer boy. basically mlg jokes all the way around. mtn dew cookie references all that old stuff! theyre likely aware of other things too but theyre like “ah, nah, no thanks bro lolololol” and somehow they have that one robotic male voice? you know  the one in all of cowbelly’s videos that reads the memes? yeah that one. idk how to describe it

they also live off of doritos! besides their pet because it’s kind of obvious that’s a different dorito (plus g4m3r br0 has been existing for a while so it’d taste bad)

garlic cooky! hes a dad and he’s married but that was on ponytown . i made him when me, kiley, and jamie decided to make a lil oc family . kiley made bread cookie his husband and jamie made butter, their daughter. garlic cookie had a very chaotic family when we all actualy messed around on there !

he also adopted some one’s herb pony on ponytown who acted very feral . we joked about dog with a blog because garlic called him the family dog . garlic cookie thinks toe toe (what he named the feral herb) is a dog unironically. like legit. also he’s a vampire ! he’s allergic to himself but isn’t dead yet somehow.

i could talk more about his family but yeah !

they are a very sweet cookie who wishes to befriend many aliens! they’ve learned many languages and often mixes things up (as in, like, you know, accidentally saying an alien idiom in english or an english idiom in alien, forgetting words from either language then trying to describe it then BAM remembering. probably said an alien idiom in ANOTHER alien language while speaking in an english conversation). they know plenty of written languages and honestly? they try so hard to make sure every one is heard. theyre not very professional and theyre kinda bad at driving a ship 

whcih is why they let their space buddy drive the ship! yeah their dog, buddy, drives a spaceship. its funky but their dog is literally a spaceship itself.

You shake your head, a slight pout on your face as you feel bad for saying no. “I’m sorry, but Ari said you guys can’t have any sugar at this time of night.” Your heart breaks by the tears gathering in their eyes and the smalls whines that leave their mouths.

“Pretty please… we will be good, we promise.” Their eyes widen, head tilting forward slightly as they pout their lips, glossy eyes staring into your soul.

The sight causes your own eyes to water, struggling between listening to Ari’s orders/rules and giving into the tiny men. You look up for a second as you ponder, before looking back down at them. “Do you guys promise to be good? That this won’t come down on me?” Their little heads move up and down rapidly, tiny hands reaching out as they wait for the delicious chocolate to fall into their grasps.

Slowly, you open the bag and take out a few pieces. Taking your time to break them apart, before handing over just enough to the elves. Hoping and praying that what Ari told you wasn’t true. “Okay, here you go… please be good.”

A chorus of thank you’s leave their tiny selves, gobbling down the chocolate as though someone would take it if they didn’t. Your eyes widen as they jolt up, eyes wide and full of what seems to be sparkles, they look at one another. PyeongChang Men’s SP Reaction

FOREWARNING: someone remind me to never do this again I literally sweat through my shorts going through this emotional earthquake

I had reservations about doing this reaction post but I’m watching the NBC mini-promos for everyone (cue lil’ kid saying that Javi is his ONLY hero <3) competing tonight and all the feels flooding in.

Also gonna put my dream podium out there in advance so I can lay claim to my fantasies before they possibly flop: Yuzu, Nathan, Javi (in that order for Gold, Silver, and Bronze), but ofc the best scenario is that everyone skates well and leaves the ice happy and the gremlin judges can do whatever. I haven’t watched a lot of the earlier-group men this season, but looking at their music choices I’m pretty excited for Julian Zhi Jie Yee’s Build a Home program (P/C’s 2016 FS from Euros that year still sticks with me) and hopefully Yaroslav hits his 4F. Just writing out everyone’s name is getting me hella nervous

I had reservations about doing this reaction post but I’m watching the NBC mini-promos for everyone (cue lil’ kid saying that Javi is his ONLY hero <3) competing tonight and all the feels flooding in.

Also gonna put my dream podium out there in advance so I can lay claim to my fantasies before they possibly flop: Yuzu, Nathan, Javi (in that order for Gold, Silver, and Bronze), but ofc the best scenario is that everyone skates well and leaves the ice happy and the gremlin judges can do whatever. I haven’t watched a lot of the earlier-group men this season, but looking at their music choices I’m pretty excited for Julian Zhi Jie Yee’s Build a Home program (P/C’s 2016 FS from Euros that year still sticks with me) and hopefully Yaroslav hits his 4F. Just writing out everyone’s name is getting me hella nervous
