I feel like modern au zuko can drive, is very good at it, has his license, and will get you where you need to go but like. with very dangerous efficiency. he drives like Evel Knievel. he drives like a bat out of hell. he whips the wheel hard as fuck and you will see Jesus even if the drive is from your house to the corner store. his car is used and like 10 years old but she is strong and loyal just like her master and wont break down for anything. she'll tear over anything in her path. zuko has given iroh so many mini heart attacks while driving him around (<- because iroh does NOT have his license). worst of all is that zuko does NOT talk or road rage ever when he drives he's DEAD SILENT and simply blasts the radio. and its always either terrifying Chinese opera or crazy shit like Free Bird by Lynyrd Skynyrd
#zuko is the gaangs free of charge Uber driver but he's not gonna do it without making them suffer a little bit.#he drives a dinky cigarette car but like I said she is strong and he also cleans her regularly so theres that.#and he's silent like I said so whenever the gaang is screeching at him that they're gonna crash he simply does not react. i like mako's character best when he's not taken 100% seriously
#lok#i'll elaborate#i like mako a lot i promise#okay so he and bolin have this tragic backstory. (the same one mind you) where they grew up on the streets after their parents were killed#their personalities diverge strongly because of how they grew up. mako was the oldest so he had to become super serious and prove that he#was in control of everything and could make sure that his little brother was as safe as he could be#and bolin grew up aware of this and developed a strong sunshiney attitude in order to combat the leeching force of homelessness and poverty#and trauma. he put himself in charge of his brother's emotional state while mako looked after the physical#so how this ties back to me enjoying mako being joked at?#it's about healing#see he's learned this uber-serious no-fun brooding attitude. a step to healing and a bit of character development for him is just...#learning how to relax a little more. learning how to let himself be seen as fallible by people he trusts not to remove opportunity from him#mako rarely admits to being wrong because he was never allowed to be. being wrong meant consequences. for him and for bolin#i think it's good for him to slowly learn that he can have moments to be as clumsy and stupid as anyone else out there#and to have the ability to shrug it off and laugh abt it is a powerful one#anyway tldr he's the kind of guy i want to see pulling a push door

#vent in the tags i guess so heads up#ive literally had the worst luck this year#i just got in my 3rd car accident#2 in as many weeks#and im just#im so tired#i really want to die but thats inconvient and scary and itll make my mom sad and my fiance sad#bc it feels likenit just liles up and up and up#theres no end#and i dont have time to do what i love anymore#and i cant handle all the shit that keeps happening to me#and im just a burden on my parents financially even tho they say im not i am i know i am#my job sucks but i cant do anything else and this is like the most ive ever gotten paid but its still fucking poverty wages and im stuck#im too dumb to run my own business#i cant get any kind of mental help bc my insurance sucks bc i cant afford anything better bc my job sucks#its just a fucking never ending cycle#and im just tired#now my cars fucked again and i cant drive it now#who knows when ill be able to get a rental so im gonna have to pay out the ass for luft and uber bc i work at Bar hours#which means they charge more#and i love fucking 30 minutes away so even non peak driving times its still like 30 bucks both ways#and im fucking poor as shit#i couldnt even get fucking hurt in these accidents so i could get a medical pay out#i just want to stop#sorry if you've read this far#its sad boy hours here rn#ill delete this later i guess#maybe maybe ill just rot away like i should#whatever

I wish doing stained glass wasn't so time consuming and didn't cost money for materials on every piece because I'd love to just go to town on trying to make some of those probably impossible pieces that show up in video games and movies.
#like i can use hardware store glass and just color it in post#but lead and foil still cost a pretty penny most of the time#and like. most of those pieces are Way more complicated than they have any right to be#like. most of the tike if you buy a stained glass piece youre being charged based on the number of pieces +cost of materials#because a piece the size of your thumb nail takes the same amount of time to cut grind foil and solder as a piece the length of your palm#so a Lot of these uber greebled rainbow nightmares would be uhhhhhhh Hella expensive to actually make just because#of the time needed to do it.#like you can cut a lot of corners with enamel but there's a point that doesn't work anymore.#bfsg

FRUSTRATING!#They didn't charge me for the items missing but I like some reliability... Especially when THE CRIMSON FURY is upon me#Nothing worse than being disappointed on your period#Time to cook STEAK and feast on its juicy flesh 3:)#I like 'em RARE#I try to be considerate about how much meat I eat but when I eat meat I eat MEAT#PROTEIN#IRON#The iron tablets are not enough to stop me craving bloody rare meat it seems#Whenever I am feeling unwell I crave meat and blood#probably because I don't eat enough healthy food X_X#I also sometimes crave delicious fish :)#I still have a jar of herring in my fridge in case the melancholy strikes again!

'we prepaid??' 'we dont have any rooms' '#'will you help us book a new one???' ''no. good luck'#so. shoutout to our driver she stayed with us helped us find a new room and drove us another half hour across town to our new hotel#AND didnt charge us for it#tipped her 200% she did great#anyway on our way home we got to the airport#waited there for half an hour to check in#and they told us our flight was canceled#so we stayed two more days#got absolutely hotel ohiod#but we made it home :>

Do You Want This Burning Organization#GG he seemed just fine running it for three years but then Politics Happened and he Got Shot#lost his bestie (after bestie got guilty bout wanting to 'mercy kill' him)#and then not even a year later The Burning Organization is bankrupt because UNFORTUNATELY bestie was a GREAT accountant#and bros scrambling hes trying and he is fucking up but hes learning#Kinda he did run off in Y5 to make up for the whole baseball thing. not throwing hands with a baseball team- ok partially that kinda#and then he GETS SHOT. AGAIN.#then he got sent to jail in 6 for false arson charges... son please stop getting false charges...#and after his New Dad Number 3 'dies' he and his homies gotta get outta town less than a year later cause some twink said so#and THEN he gotta dissolve That Burning Organization and find everyone a new home and new way of life#and would ya look at him... he's still going strong.... im so proud of him and the fact he's not dead yet#tl;dr im very proud of daigo dojima even if he does silly things sometimes its honestly relatable#hes trying to hard to navigate this new path himself- not because he doesnt have anyone to help him (ok partially that)#and he just wants to prove to himself he's capable of doing this and he wants to make kiryu proud and do him right#UGH i love him.... im so proud of him thats all i can say i love him

keep having dreams where i get tricked into spending more money than i have by nefarious forces and people start laughing at me about it when i get increasingly upset and angry. people who are good at dream analysis what does that mean
#this time i dreamed it was about getting an uber to somewhere fifteen miles away#and the uber screen showed that it was actually taking me overseas. to an island#so i cancelled it and it charged me a $60 cancel fee and when i called the driver to be like what the actual fuck the other end was just the#guy laughing and he called me slurs before i hung up#and i was somehow in los angeles and nyc at the sane time#so yeah i am dealing with unemployment well.

#just had to ask my neighbor if she can drive me to the hospital friday at 6 am when i know she works on fridays.......#like i just have to take a breath and remember SHE is in charge of saying yes or no. but i have to ask#anyway just found out scheduled uber rides are no longer supported here and availability is spotty so thats fun.#like if i prep for a colonoscopy and cant get to the hospital so the prep was for nothing ill start killing
