Lenovo Legion is expected to be the next big gaming smartphone and of the bits already confirmed are properly impressive - 90W charging over the wire and revolutionary cooling technology. Finally we have some images of the phone, courtesy of XDA-Developers. According to the website, the phone appeared in a marketing video, revealing a unique and bold design - both cameras on the back are in the middle and the selfie shooter is hidden in a pop-up mechanism on the side. The phone is obviously designed to be held horizontally, and that’s why the cameras are in this unusual location. The pop-up mechanism is marked with a Legion logo, and we see the dual-LED flash in the exact center of the phone, right above the Legion star. According to the promo, there will be two USB-C ports, the second one on the side, so the device can be charged while gaming. There are going to be two speakers for stereo sound, both hidden in the top and bottom (or left and right) sides of the phone. Lenovo Legion phone will have a big 1.4 cc chamber for better sound and some sort of “dual heat pipe partitions”. The exclusive source claims the phone will have UFS 3.0 internal storage, LPDDR5 RAM and screen refresh rate of 144Hz; touch sampling is listed as 270Hz. While the phone is likely to ship with Android 10 and ZUI 12 on top, it is going to be marketed as Legion OS due to heavy customizations. Lenovo is putting two snappers on the back - a 64MP main cam, coupled with a 16MP ultrawide unit. The front-facing shooter is said to have a 20MP sensor. . . . . #techies_page_lenovo #techies_page #techies #tech #technology #lenovo #lenovolegion #fastcharging #xda #xdadevelopers #dualcamera #64mp #20mp #16mp #android10 #ufs #ufs3point0 #144hz #usbc #design #australia #iceland #switzerland #usa #uk #austria #hungary #france #germany #europe https://www.instagram.com/p/B_1aJ2bAozf/?igshid=av7cpxtn4ba5

Xiaomi's gaming-oriented sub-brand Black Shark launched its latest devices in China in March, and now it's finally ready to bring them to Europe. Both the Black Shark 3 and the Black Shark 3 Pro will go on sale in Europe on May 8. Prices haven't been unveiled yet, but given Black Shark's past antics, expect them to be very competitive for the innards you are getting. And those innards are indeed nothing to scoff at. The Black Shark 3 has a 6.67" 1080x2400 AMOLED touchscreen with 90Hz refresh rate, the Snapdragon 865 SoC at the helm, 8 or 12GB of RAM, 128 or 256GB of UFS 3.0 storage, a triple rear camera system (64 MP main, 13 MP ultrawide, 5 MP depth sensor), a 20 MP selfie snapper, stereo speakers, and a 4,720 mAh battery with support for 65W fast charging (which takes it from 0 to 100 in 38 minutes). It runs Android 10. The Pro model ups the ante with a humongous 7.1" 1440x3120 AMOLED display with the same refresh rate, introduces a 512GB storage version (but starts at 256GB), and has a slightly larger 5,000 mAh battery, that somehow also charges from 0 to 100 in 38 minutes through the same 65W charger. If you enter Black Shark's contest that's hosted at its site linked as the Source below, you can randomly win prizes including €10, €30, or €50 vouchers towards a purchase of either of the new handsets, a 25% coupon towards a purchase of one of the phones plus an accessory, and a half-off coupon for the FunCooler Pro CPU fan. . . . . #techies_page_blackshark #techies_page #techies #tech #technology #blackshark #blackshark3 #blackshark3pro #xiaomi #blackshark2pro #blackshark2 #cpu #snapdragon865 #amoled #fhd #ufs #ufs3point0 #64mp #europe #usa #uk #unitedkingdom #unitedstates #australia #fastcharging #android10 #gaming #gamingphone #gamer #gamers https://www.instagram.com/p/B_p9MYiAkNo/?igshid=mfo6qj9g6ghf

Imint and Motorola collaborate on video stabilization solutions for Moto Edge+. Imint and Motorola have announced a new partnership, and the Motorola Edge+ is the first smartphone to benefit from the announcement. The Motorola Edge+ comes with four Imint Intelligence Vidhance features: Active OIS, Horizon Correction, Dynamic Blur Reduction, and Field of View Correction. Active OIS is the Vidhance solution that uses both OIS and EIS (which uses the smartphone’s internal sensors) to correct unwanted movement in video – which Imint claims can even stabilize in low-light conditions. Horizon Correction sounds quite interesting. It will automatically correct rotational tilting in video so that you don’t see unwanted rotations in the final result. Next, the Dynamic Blur Reduction uses software algorithms to reduce the amount of blur that is caused by rapid movement of the camera, thus minimizing effects of motion blur. Finally, Field of View Correction will correct any shift in zoom that can occur when the camera changes its focus. All these features from Imint are meant to take care of the nuances that are involved with shooting video from a mobile device – and these can be all be found on Motorola’s latest flagship phone. The Edge+ is Motorola’s first flagship since the Moto Z, and Moto is putting all its marbles into it. It’s got a 108MP camera, huge 5,000 mAh battery, Snapdragon 865 with 5G support, UFS 3.0 storage, and a big bright 6.7-inch AMOLED display. . . . . #techies_page_motorola #techies_page #techies #tech #technology #imint #motorola #motoedge #motoedgeplus #motorolaedgeplus #motorolaedge #snapdragon865 #amoled #108mp #5000mah #motoz #5g #ufs #ufs3point0 #ois #eis #videostabilization #stabilization #video #lowlight #collaborate #blur #usa #uk #australia https://www.instagram.com/p/B_mY9WaA5VV/?igshid=1u1njo4146heb

Meizu has been teasing its upcoming 17 flagship for the past few days and it has just revealed full frontal and backside photos of the device on Weibo. The caption on Meizu’s post translates to “Talented like you. An annual flagship that you can never forget at a glance. On May 8, the 5G flagship press conference of the series 17, 15 days to dream!” Yesterday the company revealed the phone’s launch date of May 8. The camera setup of the Meizu 17 consists of four cameras, arranged horizontally, with a ring flash in the center. Although the back of the phone does have tapered glass edges, the front of the phone has a flat display. We also see the same white-framed display with a punch-hole in the upper right corner of the screen. The screen also has an in-display fingerprint scanner. Meizu was one of the first companies to confirm its next flagship would include the Snapdragon 865, so we can expect to see this chipset in the phone - along with some teasers about that very fact. The display is believed to be of the 90Hz OLED variety, ad well as LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.0 storage. A 64MP main camera is said to be the primary shooter of the quad-camera system, and there’s supposedly a 4,500 mAh battery. Thanks to the X55 modem that comes paired with every Snadpragon 865 chip, the phone will also bring support for Wi-Fi 6 and 5G support. . . . . #techies_page_meziu #techies_page #techies #tech #technology #meizu #meizu17 #meizu17pro #teasing #weibo #flagship #5g #quadcamera #snapdragon865 #punchhole #90hz #oled #lpddr5 #ufs3point0 #4500mah #wifi6 #qualcomm #usa #uk #unitedstates #unitedkingdom #australia #europe #china #spain https://www.instagram.com/p/B_VSBsYgxDW/?igshid=135xtky6jrg6i

The OnePlus 8 Pro comes with a new 6.78” Fluid AMOLED display, the largest for the brand yet, and its first to hit 120Hz refresh rate. The screen comes with 240Hz touch sampling rate to minimize input lag. The phone has two 48MP cameras plus a telephoto and an assistant module. The main cam uses the 1/1.4"-inch Sony IMX689 sensor with 1.12µm native pixels and 2.24µm binned pixels. It has omni-directional autofocus on all pixels. The other 48MP camera has a 120° ultrawide lens and also doubles as a macro camera taking snaps at 3cm distance. The third camera is an 8MP telephoto module. The sensor has 1.0µm pixels and sits behind a lens with f/2.44 aperture and OIS. The fourth module is an all-new Color Filter camera, which will help with the rendering of various color effects. The OnePlus 8 is powered by a Snapdragon 865 chipset. Its performance is further enhanced by the switch to LPDDR5 RAM, which is 30% faster while using 20% less energy than the RAM on the OnePlus 7 series. The storage is of the UFS 3.0 variety. Warp Charge 30 Wirelesscan charge the 8 Pro at up to 30W and can fill a flat battery to 50% in half an hour. The phone boasts 5G connectivity, of course, specifically the sub-6GHz flavor. Locally, there’s Wi-Fi 6. The OnePlus 8 is built around a 6.55” screen with 1080p+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. This is not the same panel as the 7T, however, this one is curved and has a punch hole for the selfie camera, replacing the notch. The screen supports HDR10+ and offers perfect color accuracy, just like its bigger sibling. The 48MP main camera uses an older IMX586 sensor. The 16MP ultra wide camera (116°) gives up the macro duties, which are handled by a dedicated 2MP macro camera instead. There’s no telephoto camera, instead the 48MP sensor natively supports 2x zoom via crop. The 4,300mAh battery, it supports Warp Charge 30T over USB-C. #techies_page #techies #tech #technology #oneplus8pro #oneplus8 #oneplus #snapdragon865 #120hz #amoled #5g #48mp #wifi6 #ufs3point0 #warpcharge30wireless #wirelesscharging #usa #uk #unitedstatesofamerica #unitedkingdom #telephoto #fhd #europe #china #asia #southamerica #northamerica #canada #germany #brasil https://www.instagram.com/p/B-96jZugxU4/?igshid=70lrojnbmmer

The Chinese benchmarking platform AnTuTu delivered its latest monthly results overview, ranking the fastest devices tested with its app. Until last month we’ve been seeing only 2019 smartphones, but now the Snapdragon 865-powered flagships are making their presence felt. Ther new leader is Oppo Find X2 Pro, the only phone managing to go over 600,000 on average. The platform is calculating the numbers on the chart, averaging the score of at least 1,000 tested units and the number might change throughout time. The top three - Find X2 Pro, Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro, and the Find X2 all come with UFS 3.0 storage and LPDDR5 RAM. The midrangers get their own ranking with the Oppo Reno3 5G with its Dimensity 1000L chipset comfortably topping that. It is the only one going over 400,000, easily beating the Exynos 980-packing vivo X30 5G and the Snapdragon 765G-powered duo of K30 Pro and the Reno3's own Pro sibling. . . . . #chinese #benchmark #benchmarks #benchmarking #antutu #latest #results #overview #app #oppofindx2pro #findx2pro #snapdragon865 #xiaomimi10pro #mi10pro #findx2 #oppofindx2 #ufs3point0 #lpddr5 #reno3pro #reno35g #opporeno35g #opporeno3pro #mediatekdimensity1000 #redmik30pro #exynos980 #vivox305g #techies_page #techies #tech #technology https://www.instagram.com/p/B-he7eVAm5h/?igshid=11fns5idrcak3

Royole was technically the first company to reveal a foldable smartphone, and now its successor is here - say hello to the Royole Flexpai 2. The new device has a 3rd generation Cicada Wing (Flexible Foldable Display) that has a smaller crease and bend radius, while simultaneously bringing improved brightness, contrast, and viewing angle. Liu revealed the new phone will have a Snapdragon 865 chipset with 5G modem. The screen, demoed at the launch, is 7.8” in diagonal with a 4:3 ratio when open. The Flexpai 2 will also have LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.0 storage, but without mentioning capacity as the phone's launch is still a while away - in Q2 2020 - and details might change. Royole hosted the event to boast about its new foldable display, and it truly is mesmerizing. According to the official, the panel withstood 200,000+ bends without sustaining any damage. The new panel features nearly 100 micro-nano materials to improve the strain recovery and “layer peeling” which is the bubbles and creases you feel when the panel is unfolded. According to Royole, the new Cicada Wing will have 1.3x better color gamut and 500x better contrast than a high-end LCD. It also comes along with a custom-designed display driver integrated circuit chip. The panel can be folded in multiple directions, and even rolled, when on its own, and the company promises it will keep its impressive performance. The Flexpai 2 was showcased during an event in China and Rayole CEO Bill Liu revealed his company signed a partnership contract with ZTE. This will probably result in ZTE releasing a phone based on the Flexpai 2 although no specifics were given. . . . . #royoleflexpai #royoleflexpai2 #royolefoldablephone #foldablephone #foldingphone #foldabledisplay #foldingdisplay #lpddr5 #ufs3point0 #snapdragon865 #5g #flexpai #flexpai2 #samsunggalaxyzflip #motorazr #motorolarazr #galaxyzflip #zte #liu #lcd #q2 #2020 #qualcomm #china #tech #techies_page #techies #technology #xiaomi #realme https://www.instagram.com/p/B-MA53jgg1u/?igshid=6rjjzymqafls

After a month of constant leaks and teasers, Oppo’s Ace2 is finally official in China. It retains the 90Hz refresh rate screen and 65W wired charging of its predecessor – the Reno Ace but brings the latest Snapdragon 865 chipset, 5G connectivity and the fastest wireless charging around at 40W thanks to the brand new AirVOOC charger. The Ace2 sports a 6.5-inch OLED display with FHD+ resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate. The panel comes with a punch-hole cutout in the top left corner for the 16MP selfie camera. Jumping to the back we find a circular cutout for the quartet of cameras, headlined by a 48MP main shooter. The accompanying modules are an 8MP ultrawide snapper, and two 2MP "portrait cameras", which is a fancy term for depth helpers. Under the hood, the Snapdragon 865 SoC is paired with 8/12GB RAM with the higher capacity being of the LPPDR5 variety and 128/256 UFS 3.0 storage. The 4,000mAh battery supports 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 fast wired charging which is plenty fast but what’s more impressive is the 40W AirVOOC wireless charger which Oppo claims can complete a full charge cycle in only 56 minutes. The actual charging pad has its own spinning fan to keep thermals in check and will be sold separately for CNY 249 ($35). The software front is covered by Android 10 with ColorOS 7.1 on top. Other notable features include Wi-Fi 6 and NFC and 10W reverse wireless charging. The Oppo Ace2 will come in purple, grey and silver colors with a starting price of CNY 3,999 ($565) for the 8/128GB model. There’s also an 8/256GB variant for CNY 4,399 ($625) and a top of the line 12/256GB trim for CNY4,599($650). Pre-orders are already underway while official sales start on April 20. International availability details aren't confirmed yet. . . #oppoace2 #oppo #opporenoace2 #renoace2 #opporenoace #snapdragon865 #90hz #fastcharging #40wwirelesscharging #airvooc #china #coloros7 #coloros #android10 #wifi6 #nfc #cny #40wairvooc #oled #fhd #16mp #180hz #reversewirelesscharging #ufs #ufs3point0 #48mp #techies_page #techies #tech #technology https://www.instagram.com/p/B-9R1PHA5RP/?igshid=swwn29hx238c

OnePlus is committed to delivering a "fast and smooth" user experience. To achieve that, it needs the right combination of hardware and software, says CEO and co-founder Pete Lau in a forum post that talks about the improvements that the company's R&D team built for the upcoming OnePlus 8 phones. They will be powered by the Snapdragon 865 chipset, no surprises here. The new chip promises 25% increases in CPU and GPU performance while reducing power usage by a quarter. It also has more power efficient video encoder and DSP. The new chipset will be connected to faster RAM - LPDDR5. It can reach speeds of up to 6,400Mbps, up from the 4,266Mbps top speed of the LPDDR4X RAM inside the OnePlus 7T Pro. And it uses 45% less power compared to previous standards (presumably, Lau is talking about the even older LPDDR4 here). The OnePlus 8 Pro and its vanilla sibling will use UFS 3.0 storage, just like the 7 and 7T series before them. OnePlus is promising read and write speeds of about 1,700MB/s as well as two new features that improve performance. Turbo Write will use the upper portion of the storage as a fast read/write buffer. Host Performance Booster will improve random read performance "after extended use". The CEO says good hardware alone doesn't cut it, so the company focused on optimizing software and "only adding the features that truly matter to you". Previously, OnePlus officially confirmed that its flagships feature fast 5G connectivity and teased a 120Hz screen (rumor has it that this feature will be limited to the OnePlus 8 Pro). The OnePlus 8 series will be officially unveiled on April 14. . . . . #oneplus #oneplus8pro #oneplus8 #oneplus8lite #oneplus8s #oneplus8series #oneplus7t #oneplus7tpro #oneplus7 #oneplus7pro #oneplus6 #5g #black #ceo #snapdragon865 #ufs #samsunggalaxys20ultra5g #xiaomimi10lite #120hz #oneplusz #s20ultra5g #android #tech #techies #techies_page #technology #oneplustv #galaxys20ultra5g #fastandsmooth #ufs3point0 https://www.instagram.com/p/B-gXee3g6ve/?igshid=1tvr55do5wtl7
