Getting to revisit Rook and bring her to life was so much fun, and getting to the nitty gritty of her character was a long time coming, but so very enjoyable and loved!! *It's obvious I'm eager to go speeding down the roads with Red, so I quickly put on the helmet and (carefully) scramble up onto the seat behind him.... but it doesn't hit me until I'm already sitting behind him I hadn't exactly thought about how I'm going to hold on to him.*

Red looks over his shoulder at you when you pause, though it’s hard to gauge his expression with the visor over his face.

You hear a muffled chuckle.

He reaches up to pop open his visor, letting you hear him better over the rumbling of the engine.

“waist.” He instructs. “an’ put yer feet on th’ footrests. keep ‘em there, even when we stop. if ya need us to stop for any reason, tap me twice. got it?”

Hi there! I've been doing a lot of research and have decided this is the perfect time to adopt a few lamias companions.

While it is perhaps an unusual combination, I would love if both a Chain and a King would be willing to allow me to give them a home.

*Well, if you're looking for a pair of loyal lamia companions (and judging by your selection, you are), then you've come to the right place. The Lamia (and Felid) Bittybones adoption center is just brimming Chains and Kings up for adoption... a fact which you haven't gotten an opportunity to see yet because you haven't even made it inside when you find the perfect Chain. Kind of.

*The Chain could feel it in his bones. Today was going to be the day. His SOUL bond was out there in the wide world... and getting closer! He spent the entire day staring out the window, following the tenuous sensation of your SOUL, and when he finally sees you, he can't control himself. He leaps forward... right into the window glass. BONK!

*You rush inside, your SOUL doing flips as you lean down to check on the poor Chain. When you reach out to check his poor bruised skull, you can feel the comforting, warm sensation of the SOUL bond settling into place. You're sure the Chain would feel it too if he hadn't just bonked himself unconscious. By now other lamias and Vex herself have arrived on the scene to help. Normally the Nurse Papythons would be tending to the Chain, but a King slithers forward, ready to be a hero. He's been practicing healing magic!

*Unfortunately, he trips mid-slither over a Pygmy zooming past and faceplants on the floor next to the Chain. Both lamias are out cold, and you sit there between them feeling a little lost and bewildered. You wanted a Chain and a King... and here they are. Kind of. Vex reassures you that by the time you've filled out the forms for their adoptions, Nurse Papythons will have healed the two overly enthusiastic lamias.

WHERE MY GORE LOVERS AT BABY

I never see appreciation for the bishop purgatory designs anywhere, so. I am here. To change that.

I want to see more people mess around with the designs... I want to see more people including silly headcanons and stylizing them!!! Because the designs are all amazing!! The way each design conveys how the lamb fought them is INCREDIBLE.

The top of Leshys' head is devoid of foliage because the rest of him was hidden underground during his fight. Hekets' throat and stomach are raw and skinned because she's always landing and scraping around hard on stone when she's trying to crush you. Kallamar is covered in a large burn because it's so difficult to get close to him during his fight, implying the best strategy was a long range strategy. Shamuras' front is completely torn open and hanging out because they're running directly at you during the entire fight and that is exactly! Where! You'd! Be! Hitting them!

I'm just really really passionate about the bishop purgatory designs. I want to see more people explore them I think they're so cool.

Have you guys not heard of Valentine's Day? It's..... well traditionally it's a romantic holiday. A day meant for couples to spend time expressing their affection. But it's evolved to more of a day for people to celebrate whatever relationships they have with those they care about, whether it's familial, platonic, or romantic.

Everyone in this house is a friend of mine in some way... and I figured this would be a good excuse to enjoy your company and spoil all of you with some of your favorite treats. Not that I wanted anything in return!! I just... thought it'd be fun? "The holiday" really was just an excuse to come hang out with you guys.

*I grin at him* Now come on! Instead of worrying about the car why don't we do something else? You can work on it later with a clear head and after enjoying all your snacks.

Red just shakes his skull, taking a bite of some spicy chocolate. He chokes on the bite when you mention romance, questioning the meaning of this gift, only to relax when you keep explaining the platonic meaning to the holiday as well.

Finally swallowing the bite, he regards you with curious eye-lights.

But he’s been told he needs to be better at this whole ‘trust’ thing… guess today is the day.

He finishes his chocolate and nods.

“sure, fuck it.” He agrees. “lemme change real quick.”

He disappears in front of your eyes, only to reappear a few moments later, wearing a clean outfit.

“whatdya wanna do?”

it's here ... the convoluted spy x spy x sniper shoe themed page.... very much inspired by this song .

if you wanna read my incoherent thoughts about the ship and this piece in particular it's under the cut !! (warning for sex mention and v unhealthy dynamics)

Basically two ships i rly like are sniper x spy and spy x spy (going from the assumption they are two different people who are somehow magically uncannily similar) and i started thinking about mixing the two...

I imagine red spy and red snipes as having a pretty close friendship and strong sense of camaraderie (they are of few words but understand each other very well) with unspoken attraction towards each other and lots of awkward tension (that sometimes has to break out 😏), basically even with their close friendship they still have too much pride and too much of a shell to admit their feelings to themselves and they're so messy aaaah

where red spy's personality is pretty close to canon, blu spy is v different. he keeps to himself because he's very unstable, much more anxious and paranoid. red has some kind of weird superiority complex / identity crisis over him and toys with him (you hate in others what you hate in yourself etc etc...)

blu spy has an unhealthy obsession with red snipes to the point of being stalker-y. his relationship with red spy switches between trying to gain his favours to get closer to red sniper, and trying to kill him / impersonate him to trick red sniper. i have yet to think about how red snipes reacts to it all but i'm sure i can fit a lot more unhealthy relationships in there :) !

the idea for the art here is that shoes are Gay and Horny. but also. sniper's making the shoe for spy, a craft that takes patience, skill and passion. spy, who is notoriously picky about his clothing, trusted him with this part of his appearance. sniper making the shoe is an act of service, but it stems from the trust between them. meanwhile blu spy only gets to put the shoe on, a trivial gesture that red spy could have done himself, and that also puts blu physically beneath him. idK MAN shoes.

anyways they haven't left my mind for the past 3 days im temporarily naming them the toxic trio until i find something better but there will be more art and if you read all of this we are siblings in arms and i love u
