#understanding financial derivatives

all the hypnoeconomics shit is great writing. you're able to write about finance shit with such simultaneous fascination for its position in society and culture and hatered for the entire like, capitalist framework that necessitates and underpins it in the first place.
Finance is truly fascinating because the basic operations of the market are braindead easy. Any coked out C- student could make money as a financier or a floor trader. Many do. But the broader zeitgeist of economics is maddeningly complicated, bordering on esoteric. It is very easy for those coked out frat kids to wander into borderline rabbinical arguments about loopholes in securities regulation, or other actually complex elements of the market, that they are not prepared for whatsoever.
So while a child can understand the basic levers of capitalism, comprehensive critiques of this system must engage with those esoteric but prevalent mechanisms. All of this is predicated on the fact that speculative capital derives it's value from the perception of its value. An inherently subjective and malleable thing. It is difficult to discuss that without glancing at the shadow of mysticism gliding under the ice.

Moon in Houses in Groom Persona Chart

Moon in groom pc represents the depth of emotions of your future person.His nurturing style, relationship with mother, domestic life, instincts and reactions and many more.
[ PS: Entertainment purpose only. Have fun💚]
Moon in the 1st House
The groom is deeply sensitive and wears his heart on his sleeve. Mood swings may be common, while he becomes intuitive and influential in his environment. The groom seeks emotional confirmation in love and, very probably, needs a nurturing relationship with his life partner. This placement of the Moon usually describes an individual who is concerned with being expressive and who values, above all, the feeling of being appreciated by others. Moon here can make him empathetic and protective, but he might struggle over-identifying with his feelings. His spouse would have to be understanding of his reassurance needs and emotional grounding.
Moon in the 2nd House
Emotional security relates to material stability here. The groom finds comfort in financial success and tangible achievements, as he often channels this into marriage as a provider. This placement can indicate a person who is traditional and attaches emotional significance to the creation of a safe and comfortable home. He may be possessive in love, seeking reassurance through shared resources and stability. While he's reliable and deeply caring, his attachment to material success could lead to emotional ups and downs if financial stability wavers.
Moon in the 3rd House
The groom is emotionally attached to communication, learning, and close relationships, such as siblings or neighbors. He expresses his feelings through words and values intellectual rapport in marriage. A partner who can have meaningful conversations and stimulate his mind will win his heart. This placement indicates a natural curiosity and emotional investment in learning and sharing ideas. However, his mood can change in accordance with the surrounding interactions, and he may sometimes overthink some minor things. His spouse should note that mental stimulation is what keeps him secure.
Moon in the 4th House
This is a very strong placement, as the Moon is considered to be in its own house-the 4th house. The groom is attached to his roots, family, and home. Marriage for him is about creating a nurturing and emotionally safe environment. He may idealize his home life, prioritizing traditions and family values. His spouse will notice his protective nature and his desire to provide comfort. However, he may also hold onto past emotional wounds, which could occasionally affect the marriage. He thrives with a partner who appreciates the sanctity of home and supports his need for emotional grounding.

Moon in the 5th House
The groom is emotionally driven by creativity, romance, and self-expression. He is passionate, sensitive, loving, and very much invested in his partner's happiness. This placement usually describes a person who derives emotional fulfillment through children or creative work. He may have a dramatic flair in expressing his emotions, making him an exciting yet sometimes unpredictable partner. His wife will need to appreciate his romantic nature but, at the same time, balance the tendency to go overboard with emotional display regarding matters of the heart.
Moon in the 6th House
The groom derives emotional fulfillment from service and mundane activities. He may be more involved with serving his partner in practical ways, such as handling household chores or attending to their needs. While he is caring and detailed, he may at times pay too much attention to perfection or get emotionally involved in minor issues. This placement indicates that the Moon is strongly connected with health and work; therefore, his mood may be directly influenced by his productivity or ability to be helpful. His partner should value his dependability and encourage him not to take everything so seriously.
Moon in the 7th House
For a man, his emotional makeup is linked to his partnerships, particularly marriage. He seeks emotional balance through his spouse and values harmony in the relationship. This placement presents the romantic and sensitive partner, very responsive to his spouse's needs. Yet, he may occasionally lean too much on his partner for emotional security, which makes him dependent. He flourishes under conditions where mutual support and understanding are paramount in a relationship. His wife will see him as sympathetic and committed but at the same time should not make him overly dependent on her.
Moon in the 8th House
This is an emotionally explosive and transformative placement. The bridegroom has very intense feelings and can be very intuitive, almost psychic. In marriage, he desires deep emotional and physical intimacy. He is looking for a connection with deeper meaning and is not afraid to explore the underbelly or taboo areas of life with his mate. He may have difficulty in opening up emotionally or trusting his partner not to hurt him. A partner who can hold their own with him yet offers dependability will make him feel secure. Finances, joint resources can be an area fraught with emotional highs and lows also.
Moon in 9th House
Emotionally connected to adventure, philosophy, and higher learning, the groom seeks a spouse who shares his love for exploration and growth. He feels emotionally satisfied with travel, spiritual pursuits, or intellectual discussions. This placement would offer an open-minded partner who values experiences over material possessions. His idealism could sometimes bring emotional turbulence or dissatisfaction if his goals seem unreachable. His spouse needs to appreciate his big dreams while helping him stay present.
Moon in the 10th House
The groom's emotions are intertwined with his career and social standing. He is at ease in circumstances where he feels respected in society for his work. For him, marriage could be an experience that one shares in their path towards objectives and aspirations. He is so responsible and seriously committed to the duty of being a provider that at times, work takes priority over personal relationships. His spouse will admire his dedication but should encourage him to find a healthy balance between work and home.
Moon in the 11th House
The groom's emotional world is set around friendships, social causes, and long-term goals. He values a partnership that supports his ideals and dreams. This placement indicates someone who is emotionally invested in making the world a better place, often involving their spouse in these efforts. However, his focus on the future might make him seem detached at times. A spouse who shares his vision and encourages emotional intimacy will create a harmonious relationship.

Moon in the 12th House
This placement suggests a deeply introspective and spiritual person. The groom feels emotions on an unconscious level, making him intuitive and empathetic but also sometimes alone or emotionally withdrawn. Marriage for him is a sacred bond, often tied to spiritual growth or healing. He feels it best not to expose his feelings openly, which may lead to misunderstandings. A spouse who provides patience and emotional openness will help him thrive in the relationship. This placement often indicates a karmic connection in marriage, emphasizing soul-leve

‧꒰ა ☆ ໒꒱ ‧ Indicators of a less than well-off spouse &
the significance of the 8th house

<Img @ header source: pinterest>
This means they may have struggled with money, finances, and assets in their life. It can range from poverty stricken, an unhealthy relationship with money (i.e spending habits or addictions) to middle class or average life.
This post applies to the Juno, Briede, Groom persona charts & through derivative astrology. However, in the Groom or Briede persona chart, it manifests after the wedding.
☆ Saturn, Chiron, Mars, Lilith or Neptune in the 2nd house in the Briede 19029 (if you are interested in women), Groom 5129 (if you are into men) , and Juno 3 persona chart : means that your spouse will come from a lesser financial background than you. Money may have always been somewhat of an issue in their lives, so they spend much focus on obtaining it.
☆ If it's Chiron or Lilith in the Juno persona chart here specifically, they may be rather ashamed of it, or don't want to be a burden to you when it comes to money. This is most prominent when first getting to know each other. They may feel rather left out or seem like an outsider to your financial lifestyle.

☆ In the natal chart:
This is where we'll focus on the 8th house as it symbolizes the spouse's financial gain, shared resources and also their spending habits. That being said, it's also important to see the sign & degrees that they are in as well as aspects that it makes for more context. Please understand that these may manifest in their childhood or upbringing and their future may change. (See Beyonce's example on the bottom of this post. )
Note: If there are no planets in the 8th house, look at the 8th house ruler.
Stellium in the 8th house: It means that money is very important to your future spouse. They may attach a lot of meaning into their possessions. Money, as well as the things that they own have been a very integral part of their lives depending on what planet is there.
If Sun is here: than they may base their identity with what they have or what they wear. They could very much be someone who deeply values their aesthetics.
If Moon is here: they will have a strong emotional attachment to their money & belongings. They may have their natal moon in the 2nd house for example. They may like to keep collections of things, like figurines, trinkets, clothing from a specific brand or something.
If Venus is here: Their love language centers around luxurious attraction, they may enjoy spending money on beauty products A LOT. These are the type that will splurge for the sake of their looks or to raise their vibrations. All that glitters is gold to them. They also may earn a lot of money, or have always had what they want (or need) handed to them.
If Mars is here: They likely spend a lot of money, or have a habit of splurging or have zero impulse control when purchasing something. It may also mean that they are always looking for ways to earn money, and may have struggled to gain money i.e have multiple jobs, do a lot of hard work, physical labor.
Ex: See my post about Lana Del Rey's 8th house & her husband's career as an example in this post.
If Mercury is here: Their work may involve talking or communication, being quick witted, guiding people, teaching, etc. Your future spouse has money on their mind. This can sort of manifest in a multitude of ways, but they are very hard working. It doesn't really say definitively whether they are born wealthy or not, but it does give extra context on the sign or degree that it's in. They may talk about money or have a lot of ideas regarding how one can gain money.
If Jupiter is here: Most of you may have already read my rich spouse indicators post. You know how much Jupiter is raved to be the "wealthy spouse" indicator. Even if they did live a hard life, financially, they still had it much better than you did.
If Neptune is here: Similar to mars where they have no impulse control when it comes to spending or buying things. Being so entranced by the moment and ending up buying more than they set out to check out lmao. They may have an unreasonable or unrealistic approach to having money or towards their possessions at times.
If Saturn,Pluto, Chiron or Lilith is here: They may have grown up in poverty, perhaps their family has debt or are always struggling to make ends meet. Very common to see in spouses who grew up in broken homes, struggling because of the financial position they are born in.
Ex: Beyonce has Chiron (°22 Capricorn) in retrograde in her Taurus 8th house. Everyone that has heard any of Jay-Zs old songs knows that he did not grow up in wealth. He grew up in poverty, living in a public housing complex. His father left his family, which left his mother being the sole breadwinner of the family. At some point he had to sell cocaine to survive.
Though since it's in 22, he has struggled to turn his financial situation around i.e to get stacked lmao. The 8th house is in Taurus, which normally would mean that the spouse will have stable or good income. 22 as you know is "kill or be killed", and in this scenario he has come out extremely successful. Granted, Beyoncé also has the starr (4150) asteroid here in an aquarius degree. He is considered a legend in the industry for the unique contributions that he had made through his music. He's extremely influential.
If Part of fortune is here: Your spouse was likely born into a wealthy family, generational wealth. If not then they are very blessed in their career i.e always have a way to gain money or get a job. If they have a brand or business, it's likely that they can make a lot of money through that.
Materially stable signs in the 8th house:
Taurus, Libra, Sagittarius, Leo, Cancer
Somewhere in the middle:
Gemini, Capricorn (goes both ways), Virgo
Not as stable:
Aquarius, Scorpio, Aries, Pisces
(the sign it's in just gives more context, it's not the sole indicator.)
<< Important notice ✋🏻 ⚠️>>
If you have more than one planet, you have to combine their energies together, even if they may be contradicting. It doesn't "cancel each other out", but rather give you a progression or a clearer scenario. Please think wisely! Make sure to compare your Juno, Groom & natal chart together as well.

Thank you for reading ♡

Writing a "Curious" Character
Curiosity - the impulse or desire to investigate, observe, or gather information, particularly when the material is novel or interesting.
This drive appears spontaneously in nonhuman animals and in young children, who use sensory exploration and motor manipulation to inspect, bite, handle, taste, or smell practically everything in the immediate environment.
The Five-Dimensional Model of Curiosity
Deprivation sensitivity—recognizing a gap in knowledge the filling of which offers relief. This type of curiosity doesn’t necessarily feel good, but people who experience it work relentlessly to solve problems. This dimension was derived from Berlyne and Loewenstein’s work.
Joyous exploration—being consumed with wonder about the fascinating features of the world. This is a pleasurable state; people in it seem to possess a joie de vivre. This dimension was influenced by Deci’s research.
Social curiosity—talking, listening, and observing others to learn what they are thinking and doing. Human beings are inherently social animals, and the most effective and efficient way to determine whether someone is friend or foe is to gain information. Some may even snoop, eavesdrop, or gossip to do so. This dimension stems from Renner’s research.
Stress tolerance—a willingness to accept and even harness the anxiety associated with novelty. People lacking this ability see information gaps, experience wonder, and are interested in others but are unlikely to step forward and explore. This dimension builds on recent work by Paul Silvia, a psychologist at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
Thrill seeking—being willing to take physical, social, and financial risks to acquire varied, complex, and intense experiences. For people with this capacity, the anxiety of confronting novelty is something to be amplified, not reduced. This dimension was inspired by Zuckerman's work.
The researchers conducted surveys across the United States to discover which of the dimensions lead to the best outcomes and generate particular benefits.
For instance, joyous exploration has the strongest link with the experience of intense positive emotions.
Stress tolerance has the strongest link with satisfying the need to feel competent, autonomous, and that one belongs.
Social curiosity has the strongest link with being a kind, generous, modest person.
They also explored attitudes toward and expressions of work-related curiosity.
In a survey of 3,000 workers in China, Germany, and the United States, they found that 84% believe that curiosity catalyzes new ideas, 74% think it inspires unique, valuable talents, and 63% think it helps one get promoted.
In other studies across diverse units and geographies, they have found evidence that 4 of the dimensions—joyous exploration, deprivation sensitivity, stress tolerance, and social curiosity—improve work outcomes.
The latter two seem to be particularly important: Without the ability to tolerate stress, employees are less likely to seek challenges and resources and to voice dissent and are more likely to feel enervated and to disengage.
And socially curious employees are better than others at resolving conflicts with colleagues, more likely to receive social support, and more effective at building connections, trust, and commitment on their teams.
People or groups high in both dimensions are more innovative and creative.
A monolithic view of curiosity is insufficient to understand how that quality drives success and fulfillment in work and life. To discover and leverage talent and to form groups that are greater than the sum of their parts, a more nuanced approach is needed.
Psychologists have compiled a large body of research on the many benefits of curiosity:
It enhances intelligence: In one study, highly curious children aged three to 11 improved their intelligence test scores by 12 points more than their least-curious counterparts did.
It increases perseverance, or grit: Merely describing a day when you felt curious has been shown to boost mental and physical energy by 20% more than recounting a time of profound happiness.
And curiosity propels us toward deeper engagement, superior performance, and more-meaningful goals: Psychology students who felt more curious than others during their first class enjoyed lectures more, got higher final grades, and subsequently enrolled in more courses in the discipline.
Since the 1950s psychologists have offered competing theories about what makes one person more curious than another. Rather than regard curiosity as a single trait, we can now break it down into five distinct dimensions. Instead of asking, “How curious are you?” we can ask, “How are you curious?”

I saw how you said that describing the PRC as capitalist betrays a lack of understanding of capitalism and I actually really liked how well you explained that being against capitalism isn't proper Marxism/communism so I was wondering if you could open that post on understanding capitalism a bit more! Only if you're okay with it, of course!
Eventually I should do a real proper Effortpost on this with all the graphs and figures to really drive home the point that I'm making, but very briefly since it's getting late here:
In Marx's time, capitalism was an emergent societal mode of production that was closely entertwined with the enclosure movement and the industrial revolution. On the level of labor, it saw the decline of peasant and artisan labor and the rise of proletarianization, and with it the tendencies of mechanization and rationalization of production (e.g. de-skilling of manufacturing and measurement of efficiency by the labor-hour)
On a consistent historical level, from Marx's time to ours, capitalism has been characterized by the role of liquidity holders (e.g. banks, joint stock companies, investment funds &c) in investigating growth industries and investing in them for the purpose of greater profit. Notably: the demand from financial actors for returns on their balance-sheets is constant, regardless of the state of the development in any given productive market. Meanwhile the nature of industrial development is that it happens in fits and starts, in great surging advances followed by relatively stagnant plateaus. The results of this mismatch are twofold:
First, as Lenin chronicled, it leads for a demand to engage in imperialist expansion to open new markets and seek new profits that way. The other, arguably larger and more important frontier however is that of speculation. Because the inflation of the value of an asset creates purchasing power in and of itself in the short term, which is maintained on balance sheets so long as the arrears on credit derived on it keeps getting paid on a notional path to amortizaiton.
The tendency in capitalism since Marx's time has been the ever-growing importance of these two dynamics and the gradual receding of the importance of low-elasticity economic activity like manufacturing goods.
The tendency of imperialist expansion within capitalism has created a networked global bourgeoisie throughout the financial capitals of the world who extract rentier profits from the various rural peripheries of the global south, and the speculative nature of investment capital in the late 20th and early 21st century defines the quality of the "capitalist develpment" we see in bourgeois states in the contemporary global south: namely, extremely uneven development between rural and urban, trapping of the labor force in a holding-pattern of low-pay low-skill work such as textile production or low-end manufacturing (e.g. Bangladesh and Malaysia) while their capitals enjoy wealth near that of the imperial core, with relatively very high-paying jobs in the knowledge industries (this should ring a bell with India lol). Any country that is actually ruled by its bourgeoisie will follow this pattern, because financialized paper profits are larger (in nominal terms) than the highly investment-intensive industrial development that has gone on in the PRC under the stewardship of the Party. However the result is that the PRC has relatively low inequality among middle-income countries and the technological benefits of the industrialization led by cities is beginning to flow to rural China, which is what allowed them to lift 800 million people out of extreme poverty, something that has yet to happen in actually capitalist bourgeis states like India.

Relationship Numbers in Numerology
Your relationship number is derived from your DOB (date of birth)as well as the other persons DOB and describes the nature of your relationships, how you deal with each other, and overall dynamic and focus of the relationship. Every number holds a very specific energy and that energy will tell you about what kind of relationship you have.
masterlist🍒
How Do I Find Out My Relationship Number?
Take your DOB and add all of the numbers together until you end up with a single digit from 1-9. Example : 12/09/1989 now we'll start by adding all the digits first 1 + 2 + 0 + 9 + 1 + 9 + 8 +9 = 39...further adding it to get a single digit 3 + 9 = 12...again 1 + 2 = 3
Similarly, we'll do the same with the partner's DOB, for instance I'm taking 7/01/1988 that would give us 34 again add and we'll get a 7
So finally we received both of our numbers now we'll add both numbers together 3 + 7 that gives us a 10, which basically gave us our relationship number which is 1
Here's what numerology says about your relationship number
1 energy - The partnership between you two is characterized by a shared propensity for taking risks, which, combined with the mutual confidence you inspire in each other, significantly enhances both your lives. Together, you will experience profound transformations, driven by your collective need to lead. Moreover, there is an inherent sense of individuality and healthy independence within the relationship.
2 energy - The number 2 in numerology is associated with intuition, empathy, and emotional depth. It is as though the two of you possess an innate understanding of each other's feelings, communicating in a way that transcends words. This creates a profound, almost psychic connection between you.
3 energy - In numerology, the number 3 signifies communication, sibling-like relationships, and learning. Together, you may interact as siblings or close friends, with intellectual engagement playing a crucial role in your bond. You are likely to achieve financial success gradually, and there is a profound sense of security and mutual reliability in your partnership. There is also joy in the simplicity and authenticity of your relationship.
5 energy - This relationship is characterized by a playful, romantic, and enjoyable dynamic. Together, you both have the potential to infuse a great deal of creativity into the world. There is an inherent sense of freedom within your partnership, allowing you to create numerous meaningful memories and learn extensively from one another. Additionally, a future filled with many children is suggested.
6 energy - Unconditional love, a sense of family, and a feeling of home are hallmarks of your relationship. There is a profound emotional bond and mutual protection between you. Both of you may feel a deep sense of duty towards each other, continually seeking to satisfy and support one another. During periods of personal healing, you will find yourselves attracting individuals who resonate with the energy of the number 6. It is typically during such transformative times that you encounter one another.

You were destined to meet in this lifetime to fulfill a unique purpose together. This bond will lead to significant spiritual awakenings and considerable personal growth for both of you.
8 energy - In numerology, the number 8 symbolizes infinite abundance, encompassing power, wealth, and success. Together, you possess the potential to create an empire, and your bond would be unbreakable. The number 8 also signifies karma, indicating that your relationship may carry significant past life karma, potentially involving debts from previous existences. What is Derivative Astrology?
Derivative Astrology is a technique used in Astrology often, and it's usually used on Natal Chart. DA will offer you a new perspective of things using your NC. In this post, we will focus on the spouse, so we will try to learn more about your FS using your NC with the DA technique.
Of course, DA isn't only about your Future Spouse. It can be use for many other things too :)
It's a technique that really confirm that EVERYTHING is in your Natal Chart.
The Technique
Derivative Astrology for the Future Spouse will starts on the 7H, since the 7H in astrology does represent our enemies BUT also our serious & long term relationships, and in this case, our Future Spouse!
We then have to take the 7H as the 1H in the Derivative Astrology. It will mostly tell about our Future Spouse's appearance.
I did a post last time about how the 10H represents where our Future Spouse comes from, because it is 4 Houses away from the 7H. In Numerology, 4 represents the home. This is why our IC/ 4H is an indicator of where we come from and our childhood. Well, since in DA the 7H is the spouse's 1H, then the 10H is the spouse's 4H!
I'll explain later for every houses and what it means. A study case will be at the end of the post for you to understand it more so don't hesitate to check it out ^^

༘⋆ how to know where your spouse come from (10H)

A Study Case
I wanted to do a study case with my Natal Chart to see what it can indeed say! I'll do other study cases with other people, such as celebrities or friends!
Uyu's 7H -> FS 1H
Let's take my 7H, which is my future spouse's 1H, to start! My Natal 7H is in Aries, meaning my spouse can have a Mars ruled 1H (Aries or Scorpio), or they can have Mars 1H, or Pluto can happen (despite Aries doesn't rule Pluto, Aries is a Mars sign, so both Aries or Pluto planets can work). This can mean my spouse can be Mars ruled as a person, they can also have a strong Mars placement and mostly in their big 3H, or their Natal 1H have strong placements. In my 7H, I have my Jupiter and Saturn, meaning my FS can have Jupiter or Saturn 1H. Or Sagittarius/ Aquarius/ Capricorn in their big 3. In this case, my FS can be someone who is secretive, good looking, older than me, yet they can also look young, be mature, wise, they can be more experienced than me, they can be charming, they can be taller than me, they can also have a strong masculine energy, and they can have strong eyes and eyebrows. They can seem confident too. My Jupiter is in 4°, meaning they can love their family or one member of their family. They can be close to their mother for example (4° being a Cancer degree and Cancer rules over the mother). My Saturn being in 16°, is also a Cancer degree, and Saturn rules over the father, and Saturn being the obstacles can mean they don't get along with their dad. My 7H Ruler being in the 1H (my 1H being their 7H) means my FS is most likely to pursue me. They can have the attraction first.
Uyu's 8H -> FS 2H
My 8H will be their 2H, and it is in Taurus, meaning FS can like money, be close to their money, they can have a lot of money, be rich, and they can just live a very comfortable lifestyle. They can enjoy eating more than actually cooking. Moon being in my 8H means they can buy things without actually needing them, they can buy things when they feel sad, or spend too much when they are happy. Money could make them feel safe. Moon can mean they can also buy things often for their mother or just will be more generous when it comes to their mom. They can also want to spend money more on home furniture or home necessities. My 8H Ruler being Venus 11H means they can love to shop and can be more into buying technological stuff, video games or gifts for friends.
Uyu's 9H -> FS 3H
My 9H will represent their 3H, so the language they speak, their siblings, neighborhood, etc. My 9H is in Gemini, and it's empty. They could have spoken at least two languages their whole life, parents can come from a different country which led my FS to speak their parents languages but also the one of the country they grew up in. So there can be two languages involved minimum. They can love to learn languages in general, so they could speak more. They could live in a neighborhood or place or grew up in a place where a lot of people came from different countries, cultures, etc. Gemini 9H and ruler is Mercury 10H, they can have siblings, but it can also be cousins they take as siblings. Cousins on their mother's side mostly.
Uyu's 10H -> FS 4H
I have already explained this part here. Though this part also has other indicators, so I'll paste it here :)
This part is about their 4H, so where they come from, and their family, their childhood and their relationship with mother. For where they come from, I have Cancer MC 23°, ruled by Moon and Mercury being very closed to the MC. Indeed, my FS may not come from the same country as me, but the country he is from has a big interest in my country. His country is also known for being very traditional, and very close to their culture, they also are very into food and mostly their food, they hold a big pride into that. The 23° makes a lot of sense because he comes from a country that is known for being a futuristic place, a technology advanced kind of country, and with Mercury being close to the MC, they indeed have a very good and modernized transportation system. Oh and Cancer here could mean at some point I could have lived where he was born, because indeed that's what happened. This country also has a big idea about family and children in general (very traditional). The country isn't new but it's a recent touristic place, many people wanna go there now. Also it's a place where people are very into studying too. And I also wanna add, that the exact city he was born in is actually a place that is focused on new technology researches lmao. The MC is ruled by Moon, and my Moon is in my 8H in Gemini. I'll focus more on the 8H placement, indeed the country was hidden before, not very noticed until recently, and mostly it was a country that got a rebirth of some sort after war. About their childhood, FS could have had a childhood being very close to their mother, they could generally love their mother and be very close to them. Mother could have been very present to them, and they could have grown with the idea family was very important. They could have been an only child, but siblings can also exist since Mercury is here. I think theme of home and family will play a major role for them. They def love their mother, and they might also think of them as the person they care the most about in their life. They could also tell everything to their mother. Indeed, very very close because 10H Ruler is Moon in 8H, so I think they might have seen their mother as their shelter. Could be very connected with them.
Uyu's 11H -> FS 5H
My 11H will be their 5H, representing how they like to have fun, their creativity and their idea of children. My 11H is in Leo, and I have Venus there. They can love children in my opinion, and they could want children in the future. Will have probably too. But they will be serious and responsible about having some since Ruler is Sun 10H. FS can be quite creative and can love art and to create artistic things. They can be into drawing, painting, writing, etc. They can also work with art or creativity. They can also like movies and can perhaps work in the movie industry. They could be a very fun person in general, and they could like to flirt or to rizz around for fun.
Uyu's 12H -> FS 6H
My 12H will be their 6H, and it will represent their job, their routine and their health. My 12H is in Virgo, and it's empty. Virgo in this case can mean my FS can have some health issues when it comes to stomach and digestive system. They can have often problems with it, and they can have a sensitive stomach too. So they can have to be careful about what they eat in this case, they can also have some food allergies. Ruler of 12H is Mercury 10H in Cancer, can have problems indeed about stomach, but also bones, and can also have hard times with their father. Could have felt a lot of pressure mentally and also a lot of anxiety, they could have felt very stressed out. They can have a steady and healthy routine in general, they can care a lot about their health, and they could be careful too. They can be very hard working and serious about their job as well.
Uyu's 1H -> FS 7H
My 1H is my rising, and me as a person, how people see me, so it is not surprising this will be my FS' 7H, as it represents their spouse, so me! My 1H is in Libra and I have Mars Scorpio in it. Even my degree is also in a Libra degree here, so I think my FS can think of me as someone they find pretty, nice, having harmonious face, they can feel like I look like their type a lot. FS can also see me as "hot" or think I'm sexy? They can view me as confident too, or they can be something that attracts them so much to me physically. They can also think I'm well behaved, and that I am just pleasant to be around. Ruler being Venus 11H, they can think I'm popular too? Or they can also think I have many friends or a lot of suitors. They could have had a crush on me online too.
Uyu's 2H -> FS 8H
My 2H will represent their 8H, so their possessions and how our marriage life will be for them. My 2H is in Scorpio, and I have Juno, Chiron and Pluto there. FS can be very possessive when it comes to what they have, they can enjoy collecting things also. They can just be possessive in general. They can also enjoy the thought of having money and can have a lot of money at some point. FS can be possessive with me and even more after marriage, there is something very passionate and intense in this marriage for them. They could also heal through marriage about traumas.
Uyu's 3H -> FS 9H
My 3H will represent their 9H, and so it will be about if they like to travel, their life lessons, their study life, how they will see their In-Laws. My 3H is in Sagittarius and it's empty! Being in Sagittarius, I do think they love traveling and they can actually enjoy discovering other people's culture. They will want to travel often at some point. This can be a sign also of going to college, and so to do some higher studies. They could have studied abroad too at some point! For how they see their In-Laws, they could see their IL being foreigners, people who live abroad, people coming from a culture their are curious about. They could see my parents as people who they can learn from. They can also be curious about my culture.
Uyu's 4H -> FS 10H
My 4H is my FS' 10H and it's in Capricorn. Their relationships with their father can be quite cold, father can expect a lot from them, they cannot be very close too. Uranus and Neptune also being there, and in Aquarius, it can mean their relationship indeed can be quite strange and unusual, perhaps their father isn't what you can expect a father to be like. There could be a lot of illusions too, perhaps their father can think appearances are important, and they can act differently in public than in private with my FS. Otherwise, my FS' reputation can be quite eccentric or they can be considered as unique too. They can be seen as weird but also known as someone who is serious, perhaps a bit cold and someone hardworking. When it comes to their job and career, they can do something that is related to money, finances, or just having a business too. They can be their own boss, CEO, or just have a high position at their job. There can be a lot of business and money management in their job, for example they can do something like drop shipping. They can also do something online, with technologies, etc. Neptune can also be a sign of something creative too. Uranus being there can also be a sign of having many different jobs and doing those at the same time. Can be an entrepreneur. Ruler of the 4H is Saturn in my 7H, so I believe they can also work with contracts!
Uyu's 5H -> FS 11H
My 5H will be their 11H so representing their friends and dreams. My 5H is in Aquarius, and it's empty. So they can have a lot of friends from different backgrounds, that they met from different area of their life, they can also have friends they have met online or a lot of foreigners friends. They can be friend with everyone in general but they will have a very few "real friends", meaning friends they are actually very close to. Otherwise, they can find it easy to talk with people, they are open and curious about others around them. They will be friendly, but it's not because of that that they will consider you their friend for sure. My 5H Ruler is Uranus and it's in my 4H, yeah I think they only consider people their real friends when they take them as a family members, they also don't let people in their private life easily. So when they consider someone close to them, it means a lot for them. They can have specific dreams and a lot actually, but those dreams can be considered either strange or unique to others. They can have dreams related to foreign lands, traveling, to technologies or online presence, etc. They can also have dreams about the future too. Because of the ruler (Uranus) being in the 4H, they can have a dream related to having a family too. And traditional ruler is Saturn, in my 7H, so also having a dream to get married. They can like to be quite creative about what they post on social medias, and they can also like to keep things quite private, like it' can be more an artistic approach than really about them. They can also like to take pictures of their private life, things around them, and post it online with a hint of mystery.
Uyu's 6H -> FS 12H
This part will be their connection to spirituality and religion, but also their sleep habits. My 6H is in Pisces, so it means they can LOVE to sleep lmao. They can be a big sleeper, and they can just take sleep as a comfort zone. Traditional ruler of Pisces being Jupiter and Jupiter being in my 7H ca mean they could also love sleep dates, meaning sleeping with the person they love can be a date to them lol. They can come from a religious family tbh, and religion could have been around them their whole life, mostly because ruler being Neptune is in my 4H, so family can be religious. They can also be either religious too or not. They can also be spiritual. But for this part I think they have a lot of intuition or potential in their spirituality, that they are aware of it or not. Will probably have a spiritual awakening at some point. They can have a strong connection to the dreams realm too.
Thank you for reading!

PAC: Wishes from your past self
Disclaimer: As I am not a professional reader, all of the posts are to be taken with a grain of salt. This is a general reading, so some things might not resonate. Regardless of the situation, please remember that tarot portrays only one of the multiple scenarios of your life and you choose whether to follow it or not.

(1->2, 3->4)
Group 1
Cards: The Star, Seven of Wands, Five of Coins Rx, Ace of Coins (bottom of the deck: Page of Coins)
Who is your past self?
A dreamer was the first thing that came to my mind - the Star is a symbol of hope, resolve in the darkness of our lives, as well as life’s brightest days. In your past you might have struggled financially or might have had a defective relationship with your family, friends, which had left you wishing for more, to receive what you unfairly didn’t get just because life dealt you an unfair hand. The young girl looks at the sky praying that things will get better, and the one who wishes shall be rewarded: the toys, the friends, the love you felt you lacked played in the back of your mind, in your daydreams, till they could one day become the steps you build your better future on
Your current situation:
The Seven of Wands shows that you’re currently working hard on achieving what you believe in, to ensure your future, possibly even driven by the feeling of lacking that got imprinted into your memory as a result of your life growing up. Though we didn’t quite get to the wishes part, I feel like you need to be reminded to listen to your body and take occasional breaks, as you might be prone to overworking yourself to a nearly unhealthy extent. Your body needs to be rested in order to offer you the energy and strength you need, otherwise you won’t be fighting but windmills
What do they wish you these holidays?
Generally I felt a truly pleasant energy coming through, as if your past self is truly happy you are achieving so much for both of you. Nonetheless, they wish you to feel less lonely and powerless these holidays. Release the fears of your past and embrace acceptance, the future you are creating for yourself one step after another. They are clearly hinting you should get out of your walls slowly but surely and embrace the warmth of relationships that could come if you are to accept them into your life
How can you make it come true?
Nourish your dreams and even the wildest wish shall come true. Page of Coins signifies a new beginning and so does te Ace of Coins. Your work is seen and it will be rewarded, you just need to continue for it to flourish. If by any chance you had any new business idea, no matter how grand or insignificant, the cards are confirming it could aid you into bringing financial abundance into your life. Don’t give up! Your manifestation, whether mental or physical will come into being - nothing lasting is built in a day
Group 2
Cards: Four of Cups Rx, Strength Rx, Two of Swords, Queen of Swords (bottom of the deck: Five of Swords)
Who is your past self?
At first when the card felt I thought your past self had a somewhat privileged upbringing, diving more into it however, I believe this person was more of a gifted individual than a spoiled one, perhaps too gifted for their own preference - “ignorance is bliss”. The more you see and understand the easier it becomes a curse, does it not? You seem to have been quite the achiever, someone who managed quite a lot at their young age, be it actual contests or a general showcase of intellect and talent, yet you didn’t seem to derive too much joy from it as to you it might have been something normal “just the usual” (INTX vibes) even though to others it could be unthinkable
Your current situation
Combined with the previous card, I’m inclined to believe you identify yourself as a “burnt out gifted child” with a well-defined impostor syndrome. You overthink a lot, and it is just as much your downfall. The more you go down the rabbit hole, the less you believe in yourself and the potential you hold within. You are your own jailer and saviour, you merely ought to choose which side to pick depending on what you prefer: the familiarity of wailing in your own darkness or opening your eyes to what you can do with the gifts presented to you on a silver plate - nobody else will do this for you, trust me, some problems can be only solved by ourselves, though it doesn’t mean we cannot ask for guidance in the process
What do they wish you?
Your past self wants you to choose what to do next. The Two of Swords is blind thus asks for introspection before walking any of the paths presented. Truth is, there’s always fear in the unknown, but is the destruction that the known brings worth not taking a leap of faith? You can continue denying the lifestyle you have, continue living with the fear of failing in the real life, but in the end what use of a life you cannot truly say you live?
How can you make it come true?
Find the balance between being rational and destructive - quite frequently even dearest mind can become our greatest enemy, your duty is to figure out the line at which freedom and self-imprisonment separate. You are undoubtedly a bright individual, all you need is to discern fairly between what serves you and what does not - cutting off bad habits, influences is hard, but in the end some threads are meant to be severed so you can see the actual one you shall follow to the end of the labyrinth
Group 3
Cards: Four of Swords Rx, Knight of Coins, Five of Swords, The Wheel of Fortune Rx, Seven of Cups Rx (bottom of the deck: Four of Wands)
Who is your past self?
Your past self most likely had to undergo serious transformations on an innate level, in a reality where they felt chained by circumstance. The card depicts being restrained for worldly good, as such, the painful events you once had to navigate served as a basis for becoming the one you needed the most and perhaps the one universe needed you to become the most. Suffering, while constraining on a mental level, drove you further to work on your actual soul and possibly even material goals, regardless of how hard it might have seemed. Your past self knew they had to get out, somewhere else mapped in their mind, and they did, or at least they came so much closer to it than they have ever been before
Your current situation
It seems that life has yet again brought you another unpleasant lesson. Five of Swords describes the energy of betrayal, disappointment and apparent defeat, though the victim of one battle doesn’t necessarily remain the one to surrender in the war. You have most likely been treated unfairly, despite everything you have done to this moment, and it tears your heart once more, possibly reopening wounds which you have been mending for the past few years I have mentioned in the previous paragraph
What do they wish you?
They want you to believe in the Universe and it’s infinitely variable essence - the wheel is always spinning and those who have once taken from you against your will shall be given the same treatment, but this time on divine terms. All the good karma shall be rewarded, all you need is to trust in it. These battles will be over eventually and you shall find respite and happiness, together with those you hold close, the allies you met along the way
How can you make it come true?
Focus on what you feel calls to you the most and do not share you energy and time left and right for what does not serve you. You are undoubtedly strong, but you need to also be wise about where is your strength needed - we are not meant to be endless wells, for the beauty of the energy we hold is what we choose to do with it. Your past self doesn’t want you to think about all the buts and ifs and look ahead instead and face the reality, escaping from the dreamscape of possibilities, possibly shaped inclusively by your own fears or lack of satisfaction with the hand you’ve been dealt
Group 4
Cards: The Moon Rx, Three of Cups, Two of Wands Rx, Knight of Coins (bottom of the deck: Ace of Cups)
Who is your past self?
The reversed Moon is a symbol of looking behind the magical veil of illusion, meaning to break the rose coloured sunglasses and realise that delusion, while sweet, remains exactly that - nothing but an empty hope clashing with a reality we don’t always dare to accept. Most likely, your past self had managed to learn that earlier than most, sensing things that most of your peers couldn’t even care to understand, and that, while a blessing made you also stand out a lot, to those who could see it - “you’re so mature for your age” is possibly something you have once heard being said in your address quite a lot and not for no reason.
Your current situation
You seem to have a clear reason to celebrate given the Three of Cups, but they seemed to want to stay covered, thus it’s probable you cannot fully accept your success for some reason. With the bottom of the deck being the Ace of Cups, I am inclined to believe it could be related to a new emotional beginning in your life, perhaps even a romantic relationship that you are yet to fully process and accept. I feel as if you harbour a certain fear related to how good these events actually are and whether they will be there with you for longer. Life taught you that everything is ephemeral, even more the happy moments, and that a once happy moment can become the nightmare of another night, but you are yet to convince yourself that it doesn’t mean you shouldn’t let yourself enjoy it while you can.
What do they wish you?
Do not let fears overcome you and live the moment, embrace the future and accept the past, allowing yourself to be open to new horizons waiting for you. They want you to be more decisive about the opportunities you are presented, without falling into doubt - you have everything you need to navigate forward, no need to fear the unknown, because frequently it is in the unknown we discover true meanings
How can you make it come true?
Working and trusting the process is the key - being a little stubborn about what you dream of is by no means childish, nor egoistical, it is a demonstration of how much you matter to yourself. While you might be right that every banquet has an end, it doesn’t always mean the end will be bad, or that the end won’t bring a private party instead - you are allowed to want good things to happen without having to always be “objective” “realistic” about it, and who knows, maybe the banquet shall continue

Ko-fi prompt from @becauseforoncethisisme:
I don’t understand how importing and exporting works and I’m trying to write a story that doesn’t have colonialism but does have chocolate and vanilla and coffee available to everyone and it’s set in fantasy Spain so I can’t grow them locally. If that fantasy Spain is trading with the people who produce chocolate and vanilla and coffee as equal partners, then how do they import enough stuff to make it readily available, and could they export things like olive oil and wine in exchange or would that not work?
Honestly, my first reaction was 'this is a very Western perspective on international trade.'
We have a few questions to ask here:
What do we mean by "readily available?"
What are the barriers in place that prevent domestic production in a fantasy setting?
What are the logistical barriers to trade that impede international trade in a fantasy setting?
What are the labor and production conditions in these countries that are uncolonized?
What are substitutes that could feasibly be present?
Readily Available
There are varying degrees of availability that one may consider here. A rough spectrum would be:
Unavailable -> Expensive Luxury -> Affordable Luxury -> Generic/Staple -> Cheap Junk
We are very used to, at least in the US and similarly wealthy nations, having some of these available as Cheap Junk. Vanilla is an affordable luxury, Coffee ranges from cheap to affordable luxury but tends to sit at Generic in the public conscious, and chocolate is a Cheap Junk item that can enter Affordable Luxury, but by god do we have it at the dollar store if you're willing to put up with immense amounts of sugar and saturated fats as a filler.
Vanilla is, actually, unlikely to change much, but that's due to the fact that it's an expensive flavor already. It might move from Affordable to Expensive, but in the real world, vanilla beans are incredibly limited in agriculture, as they are difficult to grow outside of Madagascar or Mexico due to the pollinator requirements. This is also the main focus of question five, as it's the one most likely to be substituted for with a cheaper substitute; synthetic vanillin can be derived from clove oil.
The other two, you could expect to move up at least one tier into Generic or Affordable Lux, but possibly to Expensive Lux dependent on the next factors and how quality the items are; it's very easy to stretch chocolate if you're willing to cut corners. The products would be more expensive, but not unavailable... kind of like when I go looking for imported foods from Eastern Europe.
Domestic Production Barriers
This is a fantasy setting, which means there must be a cause for not being able to grow something domestically. For vanilla, a tropical plant, the primary barrier IRL is pollinator requirements. In its native Mexico, it is pollinated by a specific bee, and outside of Mexico, it must be pollinated by hand, which is what they do in Madagascar. Since Madagascar is one of the few countries where that labor is affordable...
Then again, maybe fantasy Spain has the magic to make that work without immense amounts of underpaid labor.
Coffee and cocoa are less specific in practice, but still require tropical climates that make farming in other zones difficult at scale. You can have a greenhouse at that temperature, but it's not really viable, financially.
It's also plausible that, without colonization, the origin countries have refused to allow live seeds to exit the country, in order to maintain control over production. Can't grow your own cocoa trees if you never get a live seed to plant, right?
Logistic Trade Barriers
What is international travel like for your setting? How long does it take to get from point A to point B? What are the options for transport at scale? Do you have cargo ships, cargo planes, long-haul trucking? Is teleportation a thing? Does the transport require some kind of fuel and, if so, what is the cost of that fuel? How many humans are needed to man the transport, or is it largely automated?
Are there domestic industries that feel threatened, like spice companies that import cinnamon from SE Asia and would like to avoid the cocoa coming out of South American farms? Would they lobby the government to institute barriers, or act as a guild?
Are there political barriers, like tariffs? Wars that are liable to disrupt supply chains? Black markets that spring up to avoid customs?
Production Conditions
So. A country does not need to be a victim of colonization to be built on cheap, underpaid, labor, or even slavery.
The Aztec Empire had slaves before Europe arrived. China was never actually colonized by Western powers; at most, they ceded small amounts of territory for a temporary period. You could argue they were colonized by Huns and Mongols, but those assimilated in. Nepal, Japan, and Thailand have never been taken over by another power, though they occasionally lost territory or were forced into trade.
It is entirely possible, even likely, that the countries Fantasy Spain trades with are abusing their own people for cheap labor. If there is any degree of a class system where nobility and peasantry exist, especially if there's slavery, then you will have cheap products being exported for the upper classes. China was never taken over by the West, but the silk and spice trades were booming in part because of cheap labor under Imperial rule, and then again under communism. The Aztecs were running farms on slave labor before Spain got there. Nepal is still incredibly poor compared to the West, which is why the Mt. Everest tourism trade is one that doesn't run out of employees.
Once you know what the labor conditions are like, you can decide what the cost of goods is. If there's been a peasant revolt, trade diminishes and prices go up. Good labor conditions mean lowered rates of production, and then prices are higher because of basic laws of supply and demand.

Moon in the House
paid readings | Masterlist
ᡣ𐭩 Please support me by reposting, liking, following me and commenting your placement. The moon is the most important planet - in my humble opinion in the birth chart. It governs mothers, emotional landscape aswell as the mensural cycle.
1st house Natives are often blessed with soft hair and big eyes. They're naturally predispositioned to have curves and plump lips. Natives are often idenityifyed with how strong their emotions are and may in fact rather be quite mute in public spaces. Depending on the sign the moon is in, their life is very much guided by their mother and to some they're protected by women.
2nd house emotional security is deeply intertwined with your tangible resources, personal values, and sense of material comfort. You derive a fundamental sense of well-being from what you own, earn, and value, and financial stability often provides a significant source of emotional peace. Conversely, disruptions to your material world or a conflict with your core values can create profound emotional unease, as your feelings are intrinsically linked to your sense of possession and worth.
3rd house the moon is in it's joy in the 3rd house and these natives are highly communicative and mentally agile. They have a natural apitude to the emotional understones of conversations. There's a curious and adaptable quality to your mind, where thoughts and feelings blend, often leading to strong emotional bonds with siblings, close relatives, and your immediate community, who serve as important emotional anchors.
4th house this is such a sweet placement. In modern astrology the moon is in accidental domicile here. Natives typically have a strong bond and relation with their family. This placement highlights a profound need for a nurturing and stable domestic environment, where your emotional foundations are built upon your personal history and familial ties.
5th house your emotional fulfillment is intrinsically linked to creative expression, romantic pursuits, joyful self-expression, and your relationship with children. You possess a playful, often childlike emotional nature, finding immense satisfaction in activities that bring you pleasure and allow you to freely express your inner world. Your nurturing instincts are often directed towards your creative projects, hobbies, and the children in your life, through whom you find emotional joy and validation.
6th house your emotional well-being is closely tied to your daily routines, your work environment, and your physical health. You find emotional comfort and security through consistent habits and the feeling of being useful and productive. Sensitivity to your work conditions and the needs of others is common, and you may find emotional satisfaction in service-oriented roles, though a lack of routine or an unhealthy work environment can significantly impact your emotional and physical state.
7th house emotional security and comfort are primarily sought through close partnerships and significant relationships. You have a deep need for emotional connection and reciprocity within your one-on-one interactions, often seeking a nurturing or emotionally responsive partner. Your emotional equilibrium is heavily influenced by the harmony and balance within your relationships, and you may feel a strong emotional dependence on your partner for your sense of well-being.
8th house suggests a profound emotional depth, an intensity of feeling, and a magnetic pull towards transformation and the mysteries of life. Your emotional experiences are often tied to shared resources, intimacy, and the deeper psychological currents of existence, which can lead to powerful emotional highs and lows. You are drawn to exploring the hidden aspects of life and human nature, and your emotional security can be found through embracing profound emotional change and understanding shared vulnerabilities.
9th house your emotional landscape is expansive, finding comfort and security through higher learning, philosophy, spiritual exploration, and travel. You have a deep emotional need to understand the larger meaning of life and to broaden your horizons, often finding emotional fulfillment in new experiences and cultures. Your emotions are closely linked to your beliefs and worldview, making you an idealist who seeks emotional connection through the pursuit of truth and understanding.
10th house You have an innate need for recognition and validation in your professional life, and how others perceive you holds significant emotional weight. This placement often indicates a person who is instinctively driven to achieve and contribute publicly, finding security and fulfillment through their work. You might gravitate towards professions where you can nurture, support, or emotionally connect with the public, or where you can lead with empathy.
11th house your emotional security and comfort are mostly derived from your friendships, social circles, and community involvement. You have a strong emotional need to belong and feel linked to a larger network, and you frequently create deep, caring ties with your friends, who can feel like an extended family. Your hopes and dreams are frequently linked to collective aims, and you derive genuine fulfilment from contributing to a common vision or a cause larger than yourself. While you value your social relationships, you may see emotional fluctuations in your friendships, echoing the Moon's waxing and waning influence.
12th house signifies a profound intuitive and empathetic emotional nature, deeply connected to the subconscious, spiritual realms, and the collective unconscious. Your emotions can be subtle, hidden, or challenging to articulate, often experienced internally or through dreams and intuition. You may find solace and emotional renewal in solitude, introspection, and hidden places, and there can be a tendency to absorb the emotions of others, making self-care and setting boundaries crucial for your emotional well-being.

CLAMP's legacy as originally starting from doujinshi circles is really fascinating and makes a lot of sense when you understand that a lot of their manga are just straight up loose adaptations or spiritual reinterpretations of some of the most iconic pieces of 20th century japanese fiction, especially literature.
In many ways a lot of their storytelling is best described as "derivative" but I don't really like using that word because it has such a negative connotation. I think CLAMP's genius is actually their ability to iterate on the themes and ideas and character types and other inspirations that they derive from, especially in their ability to translate those elements to a visual/aesthetic format and to add themes of queerness into those stories or highlight the already present elements of queerness.
Like Tokyo Babylon is inspired by Teito Monogatari (and also Peacock King but that in of itself is a subject for a whole other post). And it's not just limited to the quick one-off comedic reference to Yasunori Katō that we see in the beginning of the manga. The title itself is a reference to the first manga adaptation of the Teito Monogatari. And that title choice for the adaptation was itself probably a combination of a deliberate reference to the Book of Revelation which was culturally relevant in Japan at the time for reasons I'll explain in a little bit, as well as the fact that the author of Teito Monogatari based Katō in part on Aleister Crowley. But Teito Monogatari and Tokyo Babylon are fundamentally stories about the exact same subject matter, that is the City of Tokyo itself.
X aka X/1999 is pretty self evidently a loose adaptation of the Digital Devil Story novels, the ones that would go on to be adapted loosely into the Megami Tensei video games. An apocalyptic battle for the fate of the entire world fought in Tokyo between two ideologically opposed groups of super powered beings, one of which is literally called The 7 Angels. There is a magic sword associated with the death of a female loved one, there are references to a whole bunch of religious and occult concepts from both the east and west, and one of the key locations for the plot is an elite private high school. X and DDS/ Megaten are both quintessential examples of media born from the Japanese Occult Boom. Bad Japanese translations of the prophecies of Nostradamus in the '70s that inspired the Book would become mixed with the social and economic chaos that was the Japanese asset price bubble and other late stage capitalist nonsense and then the financial collapse in the '90s is why you have in both Tokyo Babylon (and by extension the manga adaptation of Teito Monogatari) and X this weird obsession for the Book of Revelation in a ostensibly non-Christian cultural zeitgeist. Tokyo was both "Babylon" as in Rome or any sort of other hypothetical city / civilization that represented decadence and degeneration, and it was Tel Megiddo in the sense that it was the place where the end of days and the battle heralding the Apocalypse would commence.
And then Gate 7 is literally just one of dozens upon dozens of fanfic/ rip-off / adaptations of / works inspired by Makai Tensho which came out in the '60s and sort of is kind of the cultural grandfather of novels like Digital Devil Story, Teito Monogatari and the Onmyoji series. It's the modern source of basically every piece of Japanese pop culture that treats the notable historic figures of the Warring States Era as more than just badass warriors but literal demigods, sorcerers and super powered beings. Mirage of Blaze(which also has some pretty clear inspirations from Tokyo Babylon and it sort of exists in a trifecta with TB and Yami no Matsuei in their relation to the Onmyoji novels by Baku Yumemakura but again, that is the subject for another post), Samurai Warriors and Sengoku Basara, pretty much all of the Fate series but especially the original Stay Night and especially especially Redline/ GudaGuda and Samurai Remnant, and a whole bunch of fighting games and Ninja OVA'S are all examples of Makai Tensho's influence.

D2 Divisional Chart: Hora Chart
The D2 divisional chart, also known as the Hora chart, is a Vedic astrology tool used to analyze wealth and financial prosperity. This chart is derived by dividing each sign of the zodiac into two equal parts, each ruled by either the Sun or the Moon.
1. Sun and Moon Hora Rulership
The D2 chart is divided into two horas per sign. The first 15 degrees of any sign are ruled by the Sun (Solar Hora), and the second 15 degrees are ruled by the Moon (Lunar Hora). This division reflects the balance of masculine and feminine energies in relation to wealth and prosperity.
2. Wealth and Prosperity Indicators
The placement of planets in the D2 chart provides insight into your financial status and how you attract wealth. Planets in Solar Horas indicate active, assertive means of acquiring wealth, while those in Lunar Horas suggest a more receptive and nurturing approach.
3. Analyzing the Chart
Ascendant and Ascendant Lord: The sign and its lord in the D2 chart's ascendant indicate the primary approach to wealth and financial matters. Planets in Solar Hora: These planets show areas where you might actively seek and earn wealth through initiative, hard work, and leadership. Planets in Lunar Hora: These planets reflect areas where wealth may come through passive means, inheritance, nurturing, and emotional intelligence.
4. Key Planets to Consider
Sun and Moon: The natural rulers of the D2 chart, their positions can reveal the strength and balance of financial energies. Jupiter: The planet of wealth and abundance, its placement can indicate where opportunities for financial growth lie. Venus: Associated with luxury and material comfort, Venus’s position can show areas of potential indulgence and financial gain.
5. Wealth-Building Strategies
By understanding the D2 chart, you can tailor your financial strategies. For example, strong Solar Hora placements might suggest taking bold, entrepreneurial actions, while strong Lunar Hora placements might indicate benefiting from investments, savings, and nurturing existing resources.
6. Practical Applications
Use the D2 chart to guide financial decisions, investments, and career choices. By aligning your actions with the insights from the Hora chart, you can enhance your ability to attract and manage wealth effectively.
7. Balancing Energies
The D2 chart emphasizes the importance of balancing active and passive financial strategies. Embrace both the assertive, action-oriented Solar energy and the receptive, nurturing Lunar energy to create a holistic approach to wealth.
Understanding the D2 Hora chart provides a nuanced view of your financial potential and helps you harness both the active and passive aspects of wealth-building in your life.
