I hope you’re doing great! I was just wondering, which season’s Hopper do you think is the sexiest? And which is the cutest? I think Season 1 Hop is sexy as hell, Season 2 Hop managed to be both sexy and cute, and Season 3 Hop is the daddiest. Scrolling back up to add this: HIS BODY! JIM HOPPER’S BODY IN STRANGER THINGS 3! There are scenes of him shirtless in the previous two seasons, but for the most part, they’re desexualized, especially in ST2. This time, however, it is gratuitous. The creators of the show are not only allowing us to look at Hopper’s body, they are encouraging us to lust over it. They are catering to the female gaze in a way that they never have before, with Billy in that first pool scene too, in addition to Hopper’s shower and the infamous “where are my clothes?” scene. 

My joy over his body this season isn’t simply that we get to see it more, it’s also because there is more of it. Yes, it has some padding over it, but it’s still there, lurking underneath, ready and waiting to pick up Joyce and throw her down on the nearest bed. 

To tell the truth, anon, his Hopper PI look is really what sealed the deal for me. You might find this hard to believe, but when I was watching the first two seasons, in 2016 and 2018 respectively, I was obviously attracted to Hopper but I wasn’t in love with him yet. Yeah, he was hot, and it really turned me on when he screamed at El (sorry not sorry), but I wasn’t like “Oh my God, Daddy, please fuck me as hard as you can!” up until I watched the third season last year. The ad campaign was right, one summer really did change everything. 

Looking back on the previous seasons through the heated gaze I have now, my thoughts are as follows: season one Hopper is hot as fuck! He’s so tall and commanding, he looks incredible in that hat. I think a lot of his appeal here, besides being super handsome and having mesmerizing blue eyes, is his arrogance and his attitude. He moves about the world in a cold, standoffish way (that I love) and ever so slowly we learn more about him and his pain, we see him opening himself up again and caring about other people.

Season two Hopper has the most Dad look, if that makes sense. Certainly the cutest Hopper, i agree with you there. There’s a sexiness but also a softness about him. He’s no longer as hard and rugged as he was before. Maybe it’s the flannel shirts? Maybe it’s the dorky dance? Maybe it’s the wig in the beginning of the season because David decided to get a mohawk in between filming? I’m always taken aback by how amazing he looks in those scrubs at Hawkins lab. Like that’s not at all a stereotypically sexy outfit but he just looks so damn good in it, more than anyone has a right to. 

Looking forward to the future, I’m very excited to see slim, bald Hopper in ST4. As I've mentioned before, I wasn’t a fan of his new look when I first saw it in the February 14th teaser trailer. However, it has definitely grown on me since then, mostly thanks to Instagram and David’s appearance at Liverpool Comic Con. I didn’t think I was going to like his slimmer body, but oh, I really, really do. And, uuugh, that bald head of his! How I long to feel it underneath my hand, the soft stubble against my palm as I gently push his head down between my thighs. Oops, haha, got carried away there!
