Today there's sun
They said there'd be snow
When all's said and done
It's fun not to know!
What keeps my heart humming
Is guessing what's coming
Let me be surprised!
"So you took it all to heart
These gifts that they had gave
In the kingdom of your past life
They watch the person they had made
Stand before the altar
And pray to here and now
Thankful for the lessons
That got me here, somehow."

i dont know how to word this in a way that isn't mean but we NEED more "cringe" minecraft parodies. sometimes things don't need to be good, i think things that are "bad" are actually better. i have such a deep love for them even if sometimes i laugh at them or think they're kinda silly, they're the ones i go back to the most
captainsparklez i love you and your top-notch music videos but what happened to the guys with crappy mics singing over screen recordings of gameplay. or literally just a png or mspaint art. where are they. come back i am begging you
i feel like people don't talk about gundam fight round 5 enough. either the songs are really good or i'm just way too autistic about g gundam (probably the latter. but the songs are pretty good i think)
Florence + the Machine are totally loustat vibes. The drama, the gothic vibes and intensity of the lyrics. Howl, Seven Devils, Blinding, ect. Also NFWMB by Hozier is definitely coded.
I confess I don't know much Florence + the Machine or Hozier, but from what I do know, I feel like the vibes are there for sure
I also humbly submit a much less serious Loustat song: Love Me Dead by Ludo
I wonder how many people notice how frequently music from The Origami King gets used for background music for youtube videos about video games/challenge runs. Like it makes sense in that it’s a REALLY good ost with particularly good boss music but it really feels disproportionately used compared to how popular the game was.
My mom got home and immediately handed me an ipod classic and said "[Patient] told me her ipod won't hold a charge anymore, so I told her you might be able to fix it, or at least show her how to rip the music library onto her computer"
and I said . "I've told you to stop telling people I can help them with technology ."
And then I noticed the ipod actually still had a full battery (but I'm sure, like my barely functioning ipod classic, within a few seconds-minutes the battery would die), so I glanced through the menus, mostly because I still feel very nostalgic for using ipods & find the tactile buttons/audible clicking/whirring to be a lot more appealing than keeping music on a purely touchscreen torture nexus, but I was also curious about how recent the music this patient listens to is
So I said . "Oh hey, she has Rick Astley on here!"
And after a few minutes she goes . "I have that fucking Rick Astley song stuck in my fucking head." and I laughed and laughed and laughed and laughed
