This is the backstory for an........ odd AU that’s been rolling around in my head for awhile, and that idea was ‘what if Frisk possessed Flowey’s soul’ and I can hear some of you back there saying “but Flowey DOESN’T have a soul!!” and YEAH, I can see that, but don’t ignore the fact that there had to be something left of Asriel to make Flowey, and whatever was left is what Frisk possess here. 

But yeah, this takes place after the Pacifist route, Frisk has made many visits to Flowey in the Underground, and the very day the come to take him to live with them, they find him in a bad state, on his way to dying...

Fortunately Frisk is Determined to Save.

Denial

“Better hurry it up bitch boy! Might just get away if you keep being this slow!” I taunted the winged skeleton as I sat on the rooftop casually.

“Perhaps if you would stop being such a coward and FACE me!” Phoenix shouted back.

I just flipped him off making him fly after me. I laugh and slide down the roof dangerously before jumping through a window of an abandoned building. I got a little too cocky though as I almost didn’t notice him follow in right after me. I block his claymore with my crowbar, deflecting his attacks before hopping on his blade, balancing on it.

“Jeez you are one stubborn man aren’t you….?” I asked with an eye roll. He shakes me off easily and I had to roll away quickly as he tried stabbing me while I was down.

“It is my job to bring justice. And I refuse to let you get away!” Phoenix said as he tried to pull away his sword. But I managed to kick him down.

I crouch down beside him, “………pfffft- you look so done with my shit. It’s hilariously cute✨” I pat his head, not noticing a little blush had appeared on his face, “Cut that out…..”

“Cut what out?” I smirk looking back at him. Ok now I was just messing with him. I had to be.

Phoenix huffed, “Teasing me! Cut it out and take this SERIOUSLY!”

“Hmmmmmmmmm…….nah✨” I laughed mischievously before getting up, “Gotta go though. Was fun fucking with yah! Have a good day!”

I try running again but I always forget and underestimate his speed as he quickly pins me against the wall. I look up at him surprised. He glared down at me but I couldn’t help but feel a different tension. It appears sometimes but this time it was much stronger.

“Stop……making this so difficult…..,” He says in a hushed voice.

“HA! Why? This is way more fun anyway. Oh are you just salty that it’s taking you this long to apprehend me?” I tease.

He leans in, getting in my face, “Shut up. Do you have to act like such a little brat? Or do you just LOVE tormenting me?”

I get in his face too, “Does it bother you princey? Or are you in denial about how much you’re enjoying this?✨”

“I will enjoy it once I have you behind bars,” He says with more authority, “As if I’d have fun with a criminal like you…..”

We stare into each other’s eyes for a good minute. Were we glaring? Trying to intimidate each other? No. That was the confusing part. Both of us finally realized it and get flustered and awkward, glancing away immediately. That was…..odd. Now we were both feeling a little confused in mixed emotions.

“Um…..mind backing away,” I just noticed how close we were too.

“Oh! Right…..my apologies…..,” He backs away completely. I realized this was actually a perfect opportunity and I made my escape. “WAIT- DAMMIT!!!” I laugh mischievously as I ran off.

But that feeling…..it didn’t go away even when I left. Phoenix leaned against the wall with a sigh, not bothering to chase me. He didn’t quite understand it. I was a criminal! He HAD to bring me to justice! And yet…..he almost didn’t want to.

“Dammit…..,” He muttered to himself, “What did you do to me…..?”

I was in the same boat as him really. Even with my friends I ended up staying to myself in my own thoughts. I was just messing with him. I don’t actually like him……right? He is LITERALLY after me!!!

I sigh, “Dammit…..stupid pigeon…..”

My friends and Phoenix’s subordinates were thinking the same thing really……

Wow we were deep in denial-

Rebel laughs, “You really want that bird bitch’s DIC-“ I bonk them immediately-

Meanwhile…….

Smoke laughs at his boss, “Woooooow you are down bad-“ He gets bonked immediately-

UnityTale Overview

Frisk is accompanied by the other 6 humans who fell, being that they are still alive. Frisk and the other humans combined determination lets them be unkillable. Sans and Papyrus are Happy-Go-Lucky Do-Goers, Sans is a comedian who loves hotdogs (and ketchup), Papyrus is in the Royal Guard. Undyne and Alphys are together and work to reverse the experiments with Determination. (Gaster doesn't die in this AU). Gaster is the final boss and is the main enemy because he is furious at the monsters trying to undo what he started with the Determination Experiments. Flowey is Frisk's companion (in a backpack), and Asriel is the little cinnamon bun. Asgore and Toriel rule over the Underground. The barrier is shattered. Humans and monsters come through all the time. MTT resort is the most popular place in underground and Sans performs there to be a comedian. Humans and monsters, living as one, sharing the worlds above and below. Humans from the surface come down (and pay a visiting fee of 50g).

It was worthless to fight it any longer and his free will, his free mind was now far away from whatever they had made. That was moving his body, while the actual Theo watched through a haze. But that wasn’t the actual Theo either, was it? The actual Theo was even farther back, asleep or trapped, maybe both, but he wouldn’t get a chance to get out if even this memoryless, but with his own thoughts, Theo was trapped.

A criminal but a surprising pacifist. A rare Sierra Nevada red fox mixed skeleton. Very flirty, flamboyant, confident, and friendly. Extremely mischievous too. Says you can never trust a fox and seems untrustworthy but is very loyal and kind. A little shit basically- has trust issues. Is extremely fast and tricky in battle. Either with his claws, hidden weapons, or random traps, he’s quite the clever guy. Is Hero’s “rival” since he’s actually quite difficult to arrest and is on par with him (and keeps fucking with him-). He’s good at lock picking and a brilliant escape artist. Watch your stuff! He might steal it for fun 😅 he’s a notorious thief. Can see in the dark too. Proclaimed the Ruby Eyed Magician (Fluffy asshole by Hero-).
