HI i saw the wip for your dredge cosplay and was wondering if you could give your methods for it so far... im trying to make an unknown cosplay for halloween and kind of need similar prosthetics ^_^ the cosplay looks SICK so far btw

When doing research for this project I couldn't find exactly what I needed, this muscle suit tutorial is the only link I can drop for you. Everything else is my BSing so I wish you luck

I've used two methods to make the fleshy meaty parts of my cosplay and the second had proven the most worthwhile.

1: Paint liquid latex onto an absorbent fabric. Once dry, cut the fabric into your pattern and glue together. Paint seams with latex to disguise them.

I am very experimental with projects like this and don't typically make patterns. This may be why this method wasn't great for me. I cut my latex fabric (old bedsheets) into 2" ribbons and glued them together by eyeballing. It's pretty blocky and not as organic as I wanted.

2: Make your form using polyfil and elastic tights, but have fabric on the inside and outside, essentially making a stuffed tube. Fabric - Stuffing - Fabric. To give it more detail, sew through all layers to pinch the stuffing. Paint over it all with layers of liquid latex to hide the fabric texture. Optionally, layer with toilet paper for extra texture.

This is how I made the arm and I like it a lot because it allows for easy, organic shapes. You can see in this picture how it looks when you sew through all the layers to add detail.

For your project, I would sew several unfinished rings around the neck to give the visual of twisted skin. Maybe even sew barbershop pole style down the whole thing. I hand sewed for all of this, and if you make smarter choices than me and plan ahead I bet you could do all the sewing before stuffing it.

I imagine it similar to headless horseman costumes where your actual head is in the torso or lower neck of the costume, basically you would have a big nasty Unknown hat!

but Shelby’s area unknown character is so her orgins character before she died.

We know that her orgins character was a bunny that Wilbur killed so he’d have a friend. Her new AU character is a bunny!

Her character is going to live in a pumpkin house

She was even like I got to remember my character likes pumpkins not carrots.

In her bun hole their is a pumpkin with the same carving as her orgins characters pumpkin.

I know there the same I don’t need Shelby to tell me they are, I know.

I think I need to go watch some orgins smp vids and vods to see if theirs more hints

Everything she says about bun Shub is causing brain rot

Why did she run from New Jersey??

I looked up the meaning of the teeth falling out dream incase it told me more about her character.

I’m obsessed I keep drawing them.

I love all the new people Shelby’s interacting with im obsessed with them and gravel, guqqie, and Acho it’s delightful
