His alternate, 'human' form would be strongly based off of Yuji still, but with some differences.

(I've kinda drawn that as well, but I can definitely imagine it not exactly being clearly explained lol)

For one, he's significantly taller than Yuji (at least for now, the kid is most likely gonna grow to be not as much shorter lol) - although he can be shorter.

He usually isn't much 'shorter', because it's more comfortable - any much lower and it'd feel a bit like a too-tight shirt, but for your whole body lol

('down' to 6~ft/182~cm (wherein he usually stays at 6.4-5ft/193-195~cm) is the min. of proper comfiness)

He also wears earrings (I usually imagined some simple black ones, but he could just as well wear something Hello Kitty related lol (both for the Meme and just because) or just cute, or more colourful), and his left eyebrow has two slits - to kinda connect him visually to his Big Form heh

(I'm kinda contemplating adding some other things but yeah that's the bigger things heh)

And, although usually he only has these whilst in the Bigg form, he can have four arms, stomach mouth, and such whilst 'small' as well - but yeah, that's not exactly something that'd be useful/possible to use in public 😂

As shown in Chapter 2 of Visuals (although it is a different timeline, SIkuna is SIkuna lol), he can sometimes forget to close his secondary eyes, especially at the beginning of the Separation or when kinda mentally tired - it's just much more natural for them to be open

Some random person is more likely to assume they imagined it or he just had good cosplay than actual four eyes though, so hey at least there's that saving him

Not to mention interference from the kids he's likely hanging out with lol, Nobara is a quick-thinking Queen when her older familial figure is being a dum-dum and forgoring 💀 how to Human properly and we love her for it 👏

Since I imagine her dragging SIkuna out for clothes shopping relatively often, perhaps with other kids as well - and SIkuna doesn't mind it at all, he loves actively participating in the kids' hobbies 🥺 - she probably had to cover for his spookiness and such quite often lmao, even if he tries his best 😂

He is very respectful and polite to any workers they might encounter during their shopping though (well, assuming they aren't being unreasonably rude themselves but that's rare, especially in Japan I'd imagine), so fortunately even despite his Vibes being Very Off the two (or more) usually end up being a nice surprise to them actually lmao

- the fact that SIkuna likely takes everything that isn't chosen back perfectly into place whilst waiting for Nobara/other kids to put another outfit on probably makes their spookiness easier to deal with as well 😂😂😂

(He's not 'spared' from dressing up, but he can lighten the load on the workers' shoulders a little bit while he waits his turn, you know - he might be partially old as hell and from a time where that would have been unheard of to do for the sake of 'servants', but he also is partially someone from the 2020's lmao, he gets the pain)

(Imagine crossovers with Canon whilst he's in this form though lol, I feel like one Quite painful Misunderstanding that could happen is that This Other Sukuna apparently completely took over an older Yuji or something (since he clearly isn't there but Sukuna looks. like he looks.) OOF-)

Heyyyyy, I am really bad at book recs, but this is me saying pls consider reading How to Feed an Abyss! (如何投喂一只深渊！)

It has:

— non-human x human relationship;

AKA: one immensely adorable (but not actually stupid!) non-human sweetheart x one extremely competent and usually unapproachable (but actually very doting, soft and respectful!!!) military commander; their relationship is so caring.

— interesting apocalyptic/post-apocalyptic setting, where the plot actually plays itself properly through to the end.

— the building of relationships outside the main romance! The people around them actually matter!!!

— secret identity stuff, but done in way that I rarely found stressful :D

— made me cry here and there, esp. with some of the side stories (goddddd), but overall is actually really very hopeful.

— technically slowburn in some ways, but also not remotely slowburn at all--hard to explain without spoilers, but, yeah!! everything is so patiently and sweetly handled; things take their time, but you never feel like you're being strung along/having things dragged out <3

— the adorable non-human has horns, and purrs when he's happy fkjasdl;kfas helpppp.

— the military commander can be a little possessive at times but it's thankfully generally handled in a way that makes him seem more dorky rather than actually alarming?? It also helps that, when it comes down to it, he's also pretty into letting the sweetheart 'write his own story' (AKA make his own choices).

— does have some of the kinda danmei-typical vibes around sexual intimacy that aren't super my jam (i.e. Top's gonna initiate, Bottom's gonna go uwuwu about it and accept it, but never seem to want it for themselves lmao) BUT it's also not exactly frequent nor any kind of main focus in the story, and it's also pretty much fade to black anyway, so... eh.

— undoubtedly made similar parts of my brain happy as Little Mushroom did, but... it's also not really That Much like Little Mushroom at all? Ah!! I guess I think the two make a very, very easy comparison, and if someone likes the one there's a fair chance they might like the other, but, hmm, yeah... This one's definitely significantly more optimistic/hopeful (and romantic, tbh) about a whole lot of things. And also kept me more focused on different things than Little Mushroom, too.

was thinking about an AU where wilfried kept his big mouth shut when ortwin asked if dietlinde would be able to get the grutrissheit and adolphine was able to use that as an excuse to delay her marriage…

but THEN i thought of an even better AU where eglantine sacked up and decided to ensure anastasius’s position as future zent would be secure after their marriage. she could have leveraged her position as future queen to convince aub drewanchel to withdraw from the agreed betrothal between adolphine and the leftover prince. adolphine would have jumped on board enthusiastically. eglantine and anastasius could have offered some other kind of benefit to drewanchel to make it up to them…

then without the backing of a greater duchy, sigiswald would be at a serious disadvantage in the fight for the throne. he could have scrambled to obtain, say, hannelore? or dietelinde? but both would have strong reasons to turn him down. his only remaining pathway would have been to try to steal eglantine from anastasius. in which case, the moment he tried something, they could have used it as a position to fully take him out.

anyway, AU where adolphine never had to marry that sorry excuse for a prince and gets to become aub drewanchel :)

Best bird. Love their lil' mohawks. Very sassy and loud in the winter though. I used to feed them on the roof of the carport, which was just below my window. One little female had a tendency to chase off all the other cardinals but didn't care about the titmice that also flew in.
