Dragon Age: The Veilguard info compilation Post 3
[Part 1] [Part 2] Post is under a cut due to length.
There is a lot of information coming out right now about DA:TV from many different sources. This post is just an effort to compile as much as I can in one place, in case that helps anyone. Sources for where the information came from have been included. Where I am linking to a social media user’s post, the person is either a dev, a Dragon Age community council member or other person who has had a sneak peek at and played the game. nb, this post is more of a ‘info that came out in snippets from articles and social media posts’ collection rather than a 'regurgitating the information on the official website or writing out what happened in the trailer/gameplay reveal’ post. The post is broken down into headings on various topics. A few points are repeated under multiple headings where relevant. Where I am speculating without a source, I have clearly demarcated this. if you notice any mistakes in this post, please tell me.
Character Creation
All armor and clothing options will scale and mesh to any body type [source]
The character creator has lots of sliders for body parts and overall shape, none of which are tied to the voice or pronouns (she/her, he/him, or they/them) that you choose [source]
"Epler took special care to show off the extensive curly and textured hair options in the game, including several versions of braids and locs, noting that increasing these options in particular was very important to the team" [source]
You can change your character’s physical appearance at any time during the game, but not their class or backstory [source]
"Each individual class has some variability, too; even the mage class has some up-close-and-personal attacks, since a mage player character could still conceivably have an assassin backstory and would therefore need to have some attacks to accommodate that sort of career path" [source]
" "We’ve spent a lot of time thinking about skin tone,” Corinne said. The character we made, a Black elf, seemed to glow in the bluish light of a nighttime scene, and under bright sunlight, I could see the richness of his color. Corinne: "We want to make sure that skin tone is reflected authentically" " [source]
" “We have dozens and dozens of hair types,” she said. “And they’re fully affected by physics.” The quality and variety of choices I saw delighted me. The rows of bouncy, luxurious-looking hair of all curl types and textures (and yes, the annoyingly ubiquitous “Killmonger cut” was among the options, what can you do?) brought the biggest smile to my face in the hour I spent with Busche and The Veilguard." [source]
Story and lore
NPCs will remember when you chuck a shopkeeper through a plate-glass window [source]
" The game’s story sees Solas intact a plot that will result in the deaths of thousands. When his justification that “people die, it’s what they do,” falls on deaf ears, you and your merry band of misfits have to stop him " [source]
" “Early in the demo and in the trailer, you’re in a part of the world you’ve never been in – Tevinter,” Epler tells me. “Tevinter is known for being a place of high magic; visually, it’s different. Obviously in Origins you’re in Ferelden, which was grubby, muddy, and very visually different and distinct. That said, it’s the first hour of the game, so we’re only seeing the prologue. As you go deeper, you’ll find that the game can be just as bloody and just as grim as Dragon Age Origins, 2, and Inquisition. For us, it’s that feeling of contrast. You get moments of higher fantasy magic coming back to the world through Solas’ ritual, but also things get pretty grim, and things get pretty dark in some spaces for sure.” " [source]
"Snappy dialogue" [source]
The game is really about each of the companions [source]
Narrative narrative narrative! [source]
The Shadow Dragons are an underground resistance that engages in guerrilla warfare against the corrupt mage rulers of the Tevinter Imperium [source]
"Varric has created the group called the Veilguards, recruiting a veritable group of weirdos to pursue Solas, who’s carved a path through the magical empire of Tevinter" [source]
"There’s intrigue to the game’s tale already, with Varric hoping he can convince Solas to stop his plan of tearing open the Veil: a wish by the dwarf to save a dear friend. There’s a fascinating relationship that's already being set up, Varric and Solas as opposing narrative forces, with your character, Rook, pulled between them" [source]
"There’s extra context to flesh out dialogue, with short descriptions that help give a vague idea of how things play out. The example we were shown was Rook trying to take down a gang leader inside a bar. We could choose to defuse the situation with either words or weapons, but the catch is you don’t know how effective those approaches will be" [source]
" Busche explained that the team wanted to give players a game where locations were imbued with just as much personality as the characters. “That meant making contrast from the areas that are dark and decaying to the areas that are illuminated with magic,” Busche said " [source]
" “This is a part of the world where magic has been embraced,” Busche said. “It is a society of mages and magic in this world is inherently colorful. So whether we’re seeing them use magic for everyday purposes like signage or using them as spells, that color really comes through.” " [source]
We will visit the Necropolis of Nevarra [source]
Gameplay, presentation, performance etc
There are dozens of abilities and spells [source]
The game has an easy mode [source]
There is a setting where your character can't die in battle [source]
"The Rogue class in our demo had a bow with recharging arrows for ranged attacks, and dual blades that could unleash a furious flurry of instantaneous blows" [source]
[☕ found this post or blog interesting or useful? my ko-fi is here if you feel inclined. thank you 🙏]

Have you considered posting your comic here on tumblr or showing a preview instead of just links? Just links doesn't give people an idea of what the comic is about and likely won't be clicked on by new people but clips of the comic or the whole pages + external links would help pique interest more
First of all, let me apologize for taking to long to respond to this 😅
And next I want to apologize for this being such a long response.
Truth is, I’ve been thinking about this a lot. Even before you sent me this ask, but I didn’t want to answer right away because I didn’t know what I wanted to do about it yet.
I think you’re definitely right, links to another site are really not the best way to draw people in, especially if you’re on mobile. And I’ve been trying to work on a better solution.
I think for a while I didn’t want to post on tumblr just because that would be another thing I would have to keep track of besides the website, webtoons, and ko-fi and patreon. But I have been considering that more and more, I think that would help make it more accessible, both in general but especially to tumblr users, which is where I think most of my current audience is from lol.
But, I’m still held back by one problem. If I post on tumblr, people can reblog it, (I know I can disable reblogs, but that feels icky to me, I don’t want to make it hard for people to share the comic.) and if they do, then I can’t really control what pages people see in what order, and that’s (generally speaking) not great for stories. I’m not so worried about spoilers, but I’m more concerned that if people are exposed to the comic pages out of order, then the story loses its power of presentation.
I think the story of SotF is really similar to a film, and when you’re advertising a film you make a trailer. You take specifically curated shots and sound bites from the film and place them in a specific sequence to engage the viewers and make them ask questions. Questions like: “How do the main characters end up in a situation like that?”, “How do they get out of it?” “How does Jack Black do as casting for Steve?”, “Is this gonna be as good as the first movie?”. You go see that movie because you want those questions answered. (or you wait a little longer and watch a YouTube review.)
Direction wise, it’s almost a mini film in and of itself. If you see a clip of a film by itself without any explanation, you don’t feel as engaged with it as you would if you saw that scene within the context of the movie as a whole. But it also doesn’t pique as much interest as one specific line from that scene would out of context. It’s a balance between asking and answering questions. What you give/show that makes the viewers ask questions that they want answered.
I really don’t know how to apply all of this to advertising a comic though, and I may be making this more complicated than it needs to be lol. But I think for now at least, I don’t have enough material to advertise with anyway. I haven’t even gotten through the prologue yet! I think right now the best thing I could do for advertising is making promotional posters. And even that is something I have to budget time for.
I also thought about posting clips of some sort, but I couldn’t really figure out how to do that with the pages of comic that I’d put out so far. I would have to do it in either one of two ways: (if there’s another way let me know lol) I’d either have to post a few pages at a time, let people see what the comic is like and get invested so they actually want to click a link to see the rest (this is what I see most people doing), or I would post a snippet of one page, giving people a small glimpse of what happens so that people want to click the link to be able to read the whole page. But there were problems with each. I’m working on this comic very slowly, as I don’t have a lot of time to put towards it, so posting two or three pages all at once would amount to months of work.
And I couldn’t really find a way to cut my comic pages into little snippets. I feel like that can compromise some of the structure of the page as a whole, since I design the pages to be viewed as a whole, to draw the viewer’s eye from here to there. If I clip it down, I don’t think your eyes would track with the page in the same way when you see the full page. I think this method works better for comics that use the infinite scroll format. At least, that’s where I’ve seen it work best.
So TL;DR: I want to up the promotion of my comic but i can't really do that at this point with the low amount of material I've made so far or without potentially compromising the experience of the story of the comic.
Thank you for sending this ask! It really made me think and helped me put these thoughts to words.
If anyone wants to comment or add to the discussion, feel free!

Comment Ambush #2: Something Old
How it works
Down below are three fics I’ve hand-picked from AO3 that haven’t gotten much engagement yet. For this installment, I’m focusing on older fanworks!
For one point, pick a fic and comment on it. For three points, comment on all three. For a bonus point, pick another AO3 user from the comments or bookmarks and comment on something they’ve written!
Keysmashes and heart emojis absolutely count, but if you want ideas for something fancier, here’s a comment guide. Be kind, and don’t mention that I sent you 🤫
The fics
Breathless by ladynoirsdaughter (G, 1751 words, Adrien/Marinette)
Her heart was drowning but he couldn't breathe.
sidekick by marixchat (G, 1286 words, Adrien/Marinette)
snippets of adrien's thoughts through a song. one-shot songfic. for marichat may.
Honey Bee by Tyranno (G, 3978 words, Adrien & PV Félix)
A strange new akuma helps paris' dynamic duo in their time of need--but what is his connection to Chat Noir's past, and how will Adrien cope when that past comes back to haunt him?

Sal's snippets #48
Being a youtuber wasn't all glitz and glamour; there was a lot of work that went into producing a good video. Hundreds of hours of recording, fact checking, making sure that the volume was correct, that there video editing was seamless. It wasn't an easy job. Each video that they made took a week or two to produce. Even then, it would take a few days before they would see any views on the videos; creating videos about true crime wasn't something that most wouldld enjoy. A lot of the victims didn't want to speak about their experiences, and those that did, didn't want their faces shown, and neither of them had any problems with that. A few tweaks and changes here and there, a voice changer and no one was any wiser. Sometimes, the most time-consuming thing was the video editing. That was without their second channel that they worked on. Their weeks were always busy, and some days, it felt as if they didn't have a single moment to themselves.
But there was no denying that their work was paying off, with over two million subscribers combined, and that number was steadily climbing. It had taken then years of work to get to where the yare now. They still had a lot more work to do. Alastor DeCoux wanted to make life better for his daughter, and she wanted to make it better for him. Life was difficult for two covernless magic users. They had both been chased from their previous covern for something that they didn't do. They had been framed and blamed. They both knew who was responsible for it as well, yet they had no proof, so all they could do was leave. All themselves to be chased form their only home. The Vees would get karma in the end. Alastor wondered how the rest of the cover was getting on without him and Sarah, and he wondered if any of their former coven members were willing to deal with the consequences of them not being there. He pushed the thought out of his head; now was not the time to be thinking about them. "The newest video is ready for upload." Sarah appeared in the doorway; her red hair was a mess, and her glasses were perched ontop of her head; there was a smudge of ink on her left cheek. "I have also gone through some of the older videos and have created a blooper reel to post online as well." He hadn't been overly fond of creating a blooper reel for everyone to watch, but he couldn't deny that the first few ones had done remarkably well, and there were even people praising them for showing their mistakes. So, every couple of weeks, they would post a new blooper reel. It was a good way to keep their subscribers engaged while they worked on a new video. "Wonderful, make sure to create a post to let people know that two videos will be going up." Sarah nodded her head and left the room. He sighed and turned his attention back to the current video he was editing; another few hours and yet another video would be completed. Then, he could take a break.

Top Digital Marketing Trends for 2025
Top Digital Marketing Trends for 2025: What You Need to Know
As technology evolves and user behavior shifts, businesses must stay ahead of the curve to remain relevant. The digital marketing trends for 2025 are not just predictions—they’re strategic signals that will shape the future of brand engagement, customer experience, and ROI.
In this blog, we’ll break down the most impactful digital marketing trends for 2025 you need to watch and integrate into your strategy—today.
1. AI-Powered Marketing Will Dominate the Landscape
Artificial intelligence is no longer just a buzzword—it's the backbone of many digital marketing trends for 2025. From predictive analytics to personalized content recommendations, AI will drive efficiency and performance like never before.
Expect to see AI tools automating content generation, optimizing ad spend, and even managing customer interactions via chatbots and virtual agents. Brands that harness AI smartly will gain a serious competitive edge.
Pro Tip: Start exploring AI tools like ChatGPT, Jasper, and Phrasee to create scalable content strategies.
2. Voice Search Optimization Becomes Non-Negotiable
One of the key digital marketing trends for 2025 is the continued rise of voice search. With more consumers using smart speakers and voice assistants, optimizing for voice search is crucial.
Traditional SEO won’t be enough. You’ll need to adapt your content to answer conversational queries—think featured snippets, FAQs, and long-tail keywords.
Why It Matters: By 2025, it's estimated that over 50% of all online searches will be voice-activated. If you're not optimized for this trend, you're missing out.
3. The Rise of Zero-Click Searches
Zero-click searches—where users find the answers directly on the search engine results page (SERP)—are one of the more challenging digital marketing trends for 2025.
This trend forces marketers to rethink their SEO strategy. Instead of chasing clicks, focus on building authority and earning SERP features like Google’s featured snippets, People Also Ask, and Knowledge Panels.
Key Insight: It’s about visibility and branding. Even without a click, your brand can make an impression.
4. Hyper-Personalization with First-Party Data
With third-party cookies phasing out, businesses must shift to first-party data to fuel their personalization strategies. This marks a turning point in the digital marketing trends for 2025, as brands aim to deliver hyper-targeted content without invading privacy.
Collect data through newsletters, gated content, and loyalty programs—then use it to personalize user experiences across all touchpoints.
Tool Suggestion: Use CDPs (Customer Data Platforms) like Segment or HubSpot to centralize and activate your data.
5. Short-Form Video Continues to Explode
Among the most unstoppable digital marketing trends for 2025 is short-form video. Platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts are redefining how we consume content.
Consumers want quick, authentic, and visually engaging experiences. Marketers need to adopt vertical video, storytelling, and trends to engage their audience.
Content Idea: Try weekly behind-the-scenes clips or “quick tips” videos to build trust and showcase your expertise.
6. Social Commerce Will Reshape E-Commerce
Social media is no longer just a place to connect—it’s becoming a shopping mall. One of the hottest digital marketing trends for 2025 is social commerce, where users can discover and buy products without leaving platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest.
Livestream shopping, influencer collaborations, and in-app purchases will become central to the e-commerce journey.
Action Step: Make sure your product catalog is integrated with platforms like Meta Shops and TikTok Store.
7. Sustainability & Ethical Marketing Take Center Stage
Consumers in 2025 are more conscious of how and where they spend their money. One of the most values-driven digital marketing trends for 2025 is the shift toward transparency, sustainability, and purpose.
People want to support brands that align with their values—whether it’s eco-friendly packaging, ethical labor, or charitable partnerships.
Tip: Don’t just talk about your values—show them. Use your marketing to highlight your impact and commitment.
8. Interactive Content Will Boost Engagement
Static content is losing its charm. A key digital marketing trend for 2025 is the use of interactive content—think polls, quizzes, calculators, and clickable videos.
Why? Because it increases engagement, dwell time, and conversions. It also helps gather valuable insights about your audience.
Example: A skincare brand could create a quiz titled “What’s Your Skin Type?” to drive product recommendations.
9. AR & VR Experiences Go Mainstream
Augmented and virtual reality aren’t just for gaming anymore. One of the most exciting digital marketing trends for 2025 is the rise of immersive marketing.
Brands are using AR for virtual try-ons, 3D product views, and interactive ads. Meanwhile, VR opens up opportunities for virtual stores, tours, and experiences.
Future Vision: Imagine launching a virtual showroom or a product demo experience customers can explore from home.
10. Email Marketing Gets Smarter, Not Just Louder
Email isn’t going anywhere—but how we use it is evolving. Among the digital marketing trends for 2025, smarter, segmented, and behavior-based emails are proving far more effective than generic blasts.
AI and automation now allow you to send personalized messages based on purchase behavior, content consumption, and even website clicks.
Don’t Forget: Mobile-first design is essential. Most emails are read on phones—keep it clean and compelling.
Final Thoughts
The digital marketing trends for 2025 reflect a world that’s fast-paced, data-conscious, and deeply connected. From AI and video to ethics and engagement, the future of marketing is about creating personalized, authentic experiences at scale.

Hi, can you please explain what's going on in the HOTD fandom. I love your blog, it's like a safe switch and if there's drama I feel like I can filter through it on your blog and avoid going through the tag without being stressed tf out
Hello yes welcome I am desperately trying to maintain that feel because my blog is ALSO my safe space.
So there was a whole thing the past two days about someone who started claiming they were posting 'deleted scenes', much like the script draft snippets being posted by the user Darksvster (who had gone to the WGA library to look at the previous drafts of the hotd scripts).
And basically they came out and said 'why did no one believe me but you're willing to believe that other person' and there was a lot of mess how because Darksvster likes Daemyra, they were faking the content to show... Daemyra positively? As if the show hasn't been clear from day one that this is the ship of the show?
And now people are just making dramatic fake script things and it was funny at first, but now it's just the wave of exhaustion.
I think for me, as someone who did come from generally positive fandom environments in the past that survived during long waits (looking at the old days on Fiction Alley), I would really just love it people stopped screaming and yelling about things that just don't matter. Please engage with other fandoms, find something new you like to get through long hiatuses and breaks.
Because Anon, I feel the way you do - and yes, I'll comment on what I see, but I see a lot of people who are just unhappy. And It's not something I think will go away when the new season airs. It's going to be screaming and fighting about how the show contradicts headcanons and ideas that people have, what they've adapted from the book, massive amounts of disagreements.
And while yes, we can and should approach our stuff with critical thinking and analysis when we choose, I'm just tired of the yelling. I'm tired of the fighting. I'm tired of people getting beat up on. I have never seen anything like this before. It's baffling to me.
The TL;DR of it is: I wish I could understand outside of 'I think everyone needs to go and get some other hobbies so their whole interests aren't just revolving around this one thing' because I think it's driving everyone insane.
#lotsa love to you anon#I am but a very small blog#who is very tired#and for the first time today woke up feeling really sad

10 Essential Digital Marketing Tips to Boost Your Business in 2024
In today’s rapidly evolving digital landscape, businesses of all sizes must stay up-to-date with the latest marketing strategies. The internet has changed the way consumers interact with brands, and as we approach 2024, mastering digital marketing will be more critical than ever. To help you stay competitive and drive meaningful results, here are 10 essential digital marketing tips that will elevate your business in the coming year.
1. Optimise for Voice Search
With the growing popularity of voice-activated devices like Amazon’s Alexa, Google Assistant, and Apple’s Siri, voice search has become a key component of how people find information online. In fact, it's expected that over 50% of all searches will be voice-driven. Unlike traditional text-based searches, voice searches tend to be more conversational and long-tail.
To optimise your website for voice search, start by incorporating natural language into your SEO strategy. This means using question-based keywords that reflect how people speak, such as “Where can I find the best digital marketing tips?” Additionally, focus on featured snippets and providing concise, relevant answers, as these are often used by voice assistants to respond to queries.

2. Leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Your Campaigns
Artificial Intelligence is transforming the way businesses approach digital marketing. From chatbots to data analytics, AI enables companies to better understand customer behavior, predict trends, and create highly personalized marketing experiences. AI-driven tools can automate tasks like email segmentation, content recommendations, and customer service interactions, allowing businesses to save time while improving engagement.
For example, AI-powered chatbots can enhance customer experiences by providing instant responses to common inquiries, even outside of business hours. AI can also help businesses optimise their ad campaigns by analysing large amounts of data and suggesting improvements based on performance.

3. Prioritise Video Marketing
Video content is now an indispensable part of any digital marketing strategy. By 2024, it’s estimated that video will account for 82% of all online traffic. This makes video marketing one of the most effective ways to capture your audience’s attention. Whether it’s through YouTube, Instagram Stories, TikTok, or live streaming, video allows you to engage customers in ways that text or images simply can’t.
To maximise the impact of your video content, focus on creating short, engaging videos that are informative and entertaining. Live video is also becoming more popular, with platforms like Instagram and Facebook offering live streaming capabilities that allow you to interact with your audience in real-time. Demonstrating your products or services, hosting Q&A sessions, or sharing behind-the-scenes content can help build a more personal connection with your audience.

4. Collaborate with Social Media Influencers
Influencer marketing is no longer just a trend—it’s a powerful tool for businesses to increase brand awareness and drive conversions. By partnering with influencers who have a loyal following, you can leverage their credibility and reach new audiences. In 2024, micro-influencers (influencers with smaller, highly engaged audiences) are expected to play a more significant role, as they often have more authentic interactions with their followers compared to larger influencers.
When selecting influencers to collaborate with, ensure they align with your brand’s values and target demographic. Authenticity is key—today’s consumers can easily spot a partnership that feels forced or inauthentic. Focus on building long-term relationships with influencers rather than one-off promotions for more meaningful engagement.
5. Enhance User Experience (UX) on Your Website
User experience is central to the success of any digital marketing strategy. A poorly designed website can drive away potential customers and negatively impact your search engine rankings. Google places a strong emphasis on Core Web Vitals, which measure aspects like page load speed, interactivity, and visual stability.
As we move into 2024, it’s essential to ensure that your website is optimised for both speed and mobile friendliness. More than 50% of web traffic now comes from mobile devices, so if your site isn’t mobile-friendly, you could be losing a significant portion of your audience. Focus on providing a seamless, intuitive experience with easy navigation and fast load times to keep visitors engaged.
6. Master SEO: Focus on High-Quality Content
Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) is a long-standing digital marketing technique that continues to evolve. As Google’s algorithms become more sophisticated, the emphasis has shifted from keyword stuffing to creating high-quality, informative content. In 2024, businesses should focus on producing valuable, long-form content that addresses the needs and pain points of their audience.
To improve your SEO, conduct thorough keyword research and create content that provides in-depth answers to commonly asked questions in your industry. Use internal linking to guide visitors to other relevant pages on your website and ensure that your content is updated regularly to remain fresh and relevant.

7. Invest in Paid Advertising
While organic reach is still valuable, the rise of paid advertising offers a more direct way to target specific audiences. Platforms like Google Ads, Facebook, and Instagram allow businesses to use highly targeted advertising to reach potential customers based on demographics, interests, and online behaviour.
In 2024, consider experimenting with a mix of search ads, social media ads, and display ads to diversify your strategy. Retargeting campaigns, which focus on users who have already visited your site, are particularly effective at converting potential customers who didn’t purchase their first visit.

8. Use Email Marketing to Nurture Leads
Email marketing remains one of the most effective ways to nurture leads and maintain customer relationships. In 2024, personalisation will be key to running successful email campaigns. Use behavioural data to send personalised emails based on your audience’s past interactions with your brand. Whether it's a product recommendation, an abandoned cart reminder, or a birthday discount, personalising your emails can significantly improve open and conversion rates.
Additionally, focus on building your email list organically and create engaging, mobile-friendly templates that grab attention. Incorporate dynamic content that adapts to the recipient’s preferences to make your emails more relevant and engaging.

9. Incorporate User-Generated Content (UGC)
User-generated content (UGC) is a powerful form of social proof that can influence purchase decisions. Customers are more likely to trust the opinions of their peers than traditional advertising. Encourage your customers to share their experiences with your products or services on social media, and showcase UGC on your website and marketing channels.
UGC can take the form of reviews, testimonials, photos, and videos from customers. By featuring authentic content from real users, you can build trust with potential customers and foster a sense of community around your brand.

10. Utilise Data Analytics to Drive Decisions
Data analytics is the foundation of a successful digital marketing strategy. By tracking the performance of your campaigns, you can make data-driven decisions that improve your ROI. Tools like Google Analytics, social media insights, and marketing automation platforms can provide valuable information on how your audience interacts with your content, website, and ads.
In 2024, focus on real-time analytics to track user behaviour and adjust your marketing strategies on the fly. Use data to identify trends, test new ideas, and continuously refine your approach to maximise results.
Conclusion
Digital marketing is an ever-changing field, and staying ahead of the trends is essential for business growth. By incorporating these 10 essential digital marketing tips, you’ll be well-prepared to navigate the challenges of 2024 and beyond. From optimising for voice search and embracing AI to mastering video marketing and enhancing your SEO efforts, each of these strategies will help you boost your business and stay ahead of the competition. Start implementing these tips today and watch your business soar to new heights in the digital world!

Here’s your ultimate SEO checklist for optimizing your Shopify store.

2. Optimize Product Titles and Descriptions
Once you have your keywords, incorporate them naturally into your product titles and descriptions. Ensure that your titles are clear and descriptive, and that your descriptions provide valuable information that helps customers make purchasing decisions.
3. Use Alt Text for Images
Images are crucial in eCommerce, but they also need to be optimized for SEO. Use descriptive alt text for every image, incorporating relevant keywords. This not only helps search engines understand your images but also improves accessibility for visually impaired users.
4. Create SEO-Friendly URLs
Your store’s URLs should be simple, descriptive, and include relevant keywords. For example, instead of a URL like shopify.com/product123, use shopify.com/organic-cotton-tshirt. This improves both SEO and user experience.
5. Enhance Site Speed
A fast-loading website is vital for retaining customers and improving SEO rankings. Use tools like Google PageSpeed Insights to analyze your site’s speed and make necessary improvements, such as optimizing images and minimizing JavaScript.
6. Mobile Optimization
Ensure your Shopify store is mobile-friendly. With a significant portion of online shopping done on mobile devices, a responsive design is essential for both user experience and SEO.
7. Implement Internal Linking
Internal links help search engines understand the structure of your site and keep users engaged. Link relevant products, blog posts, and categories within your store to improve navigation and SEO.
8. Utilize Schema Markup
Schema markup enhances your store’s appearance in search results. Implementing this code helps search engines understand your content better and can lead to rich snippets, improving click-through rates.
9. Monitor Analytics
Use tools like Google Analytics and Shopify Analytics to track your store’s performance. Monitor metrics like traffic sources, bounce rates, and conversion rates to identify areas for improvement.
10. Build Quality Backlinks
Lastly, focus on building quality backlinks. Reach out to influencers, bloggers, and industry-related websites to gain links back to your store. Quality backlinks improve your domain authority and help boost search rankings.
Conclusion

People caught wind of your arrival eventually—every sorcerer with cursed energy could sense your presence even if they were across Shibuya from your location. Your emotions affected the aura of your cursed energy immensely, your heavy heart anchoring down despair that flows in your cursed energy. You roamed the streets of Shibuya with hollow footsteps, killing civilians who were in your path.
Nanami received the information of your arrival from a scared window who hid from you when you passed right by them. They figured they had to wait long after you were out of eyesight to dash through the ruins of the city and back into the station and search for someone to inform them of your activities. Nanami was the first one he found when the window ran down a flight of stairs and saw him with Nobara and another woman.
"Na-Nanami-san!" The window screeched as they dashed across the room, earning curious head turns from the other three. Nanami lifted an eyebrow as the window got closer and closer to him.
"Special grade curse user Hatake Y/n has entered the battlefield! Other windows have given reason to believe they have something to do with Satoru Gojo being sealed!"
Nanami gave the window a nod before turning back to Nobara and the other woman, his knee beginning to ache on the ground and his foot getting sore. Nobara looked at him with a knowing gaze, her heart sinking when she realized that the rumors were real and that
"I'll be heading to the Zenin group in 85F. Please wait here for rescue," Nanami stood up, glancing at Nobara and the other woman for a moment before beginning his walk down the stairs, his blade gripped tight in his hand.
The clacks of his shoes echoed in the hallways, alerting anyone nearby of his presence as he turned down different corners and headed to where he said he was going. He figured that Maki would still be with her assessor by the time he arrived, so he was prepared to spread the news without knowing the baggage and anxiety that would hang on Maki's heart.
When Nanami turned another corner he found Maki—and another man, Naobito, the one who assigned you your late mission. He wasn't very pleased when he found out he'd be assessing Maki in her exam; he was sure you'd already done your job and that Naoya had let you go once you reported back to him, but no news was going around about Maki. Naobito told himself he'd execute you if he ever saw you again for defying his orders.
"Zenin," Nanami called out as he walked down the stairs, earning head turns from both the Zenins down there. Maki exorcised a curse, swinging her spear and wiping it off before turning to him.
"First Grade Nanami. Any news on that cursed energy presence?"
"I do. Hatake Y/n arrived just 20 minutes ago and there's reason to believe they have something to do with Satoru Gojo's sealing."
"Hatake?!"
"Y/n?"
"Yes. They're somewhere in Shibuya and they're hostile. Don't engage with them if you see them."
Maki nibbled on her lip as she looked at Nanami with a dull glare, her eyes looking around, hoping for a small chance that you might show up at her will. Her gaze darted all over the place, searching for a snippet of your appearance and sighing quietly when she found none. She was disappointed, but not surprised when she heard that you were hostile. You changed over the past year—you were so nice, and so kind last year and you would never willingly hurt a fly.
The three of them strolled down another flight of stairs, discussing the situation with Gojo being sealed. The question of what would happen after that was floating around, to which Nanami answered that criminals would come out from the shadows and strike now that the strongest was gone. Naobito took amusement in the fact that Gojo was sealed—he was even glad about it.
"Satoru Gojo really is sealed?" Naobito strokes his beard with a malicious, toothy grin, then he chuckles. "I can hardly believe it."
"That's correct. However, even if he is just a fake, Suguru Geto seems to be involved. We can safely assume he's been the cause of this mystery." Nanami left out the fact that you too were involved; he was sure you didn't have as much of an impact on it than you actually did. You'd distracted Gojo—your arguing and your words of abandonment left him stunned even after he put up his domain.
"I for one wouldn't mind witnessing the decline of the Gojo family," Naobito giggled wickedly again, twisting his beard with his wrinkly fingers. "And I would also love to see the bounty for Hatake again. Wasn't it a large sum?"
"Go home if you're not gonna help," Maki grumbled, her teeth grinding like train wheels on tracks as she frowned, her eyebrows pushing together and her eyes glaring at Naobito viciously.
"Ooh, scary. That's more you, Maki. Am I right, First Grade sorcerer Kento Nanami?"
"My grade doesn't make me who I am."
"I'd be more useful than a drunk!"
"You've been...drinking?" Nanami looked at Naobito with a cringe and a judgmental look on his face.
Naobito slurred in response, hiccuping while he twisted his beard in amusement. "Not eeeeeven one siiip!"
Nanami sighed softly, partially in disappointment, then turned back to Maki. "As far as cursed energy and techniques go, I agree with Naobito."
Maki glared at him in her teenage style and mumbled something under her breath, her frown wavering slightly the further they traveled as they walked down yet another staircase, finding a curse lurking in the space up ahead—it was hiding behind one of the white support beams, watching them as if it was scared of them.
"Nanami."
"I see it—" Nanami stepped protectively with his blade in front of her. "Let me handle it."
In the blink of an eye, Naobito was already there, holding a frame with the curse inside it. Maki stared with disdain written all over her face and disgust in her amber irises as her eyebrows pushed together, making creases in her forehead and the bridge of her nose, crinkling it up. She gripped her spear tighter when Naobito taunted them—saying they were too slow made Maki want to simply curb-stomp him into the corner of a desk.
Naobito grinned villainously before punching a hole in the frame—the curse came flying out and toppling down the floor, bouncing against the support beams like a game of pinball. Maki tried keeping up with it, but soon enough it simply felt like the curse was doing that on purpose after watching it gain speed and practically turn into a blur.
She assumed the curse got dizzy eventually because she watched it finally hit the ground with a loud thud, making little cracks in the white tiled floor and finally staying still.
"Did you see what happened?" Maki looked at Nanami.
"It had to be his cursed technique," he concluded with a small frown. "Even then, that was too fast."
Amid their discussion, the curse let out crocodile tears—wailing and echoing its cries that reverberated around the walls of the station and rang in Maki's ears a pitch too high for her liking. She frowned some more, her eyes narrowing as the curse complained and puked out a ton of skeletons, watching the mess get made on the floor stained with blood and what she assumed was saliva.
Naobito had something to say about it—not that Maki was paying attention—before the curse lifted itself in the air like it was some entity, its tentacles that were supposed to be a mouth dangling in the air as a light emitted from its middle—a beam shooting out and splitting the curse into halves. Maki watched with parted lips and narrowed eyes as an evolved curse floated in the air before them.
"No wonder you were so weak," Naobito rolled up his loose-fitting sleeves and smirked. "You were just a womb."
Maki guessed that the curse got irritated because a ball of water that seemed to be compressed by the gravity of its cursed technique formed in the curse's hand. The ball spun rapidly in its hand until it exploded from the intensity of the velocity, water getting everywhere and flooding the entire subway.
Maki instinctively stuck her spear in the support beam next to her and crouched up on it, grinding her teeth together as she squinted her eyes; even behind the lenses of her glasses, she was still getting water in her eyes.
As quickly as it came, the water cleared up and was capable of her jumping down and yanking her spear out of the beam, speeding down to the curse before a dark cloud tucked itself around the curse's neck. The curse was straining its body to release the shadow from around its neck; Nanami and Naobito glanced at each other, and then Nanami took the initiative to look back at Maki.
Nanami felt that presence again—the pressure over his shoulders that he thought was strong enough to dislocate both of them and even snap them clean off his torso. He clenched his jaw as he looked around to try and spot the source—knowing he and the other two were in a much greater danger than before he held his blade in a defensive position as he backed away, stepping closer to Maki.
"Nanami! That damned sorcerer is here!" Naobito practically screeched, his body turning to a blur as it sped around the room, dashing around the curse and capturing it in frames, punching holes through them and stopping the curse just before it could go from point A to point B and repeating the same process. The dark cloud that was previously around the curse's neck slithered on the floor and almost got Nanami by his ankles before he stepped away from it, his arm protectively in front of Maki as he backed the both of them away from the approaching shadow.
The cloud averted away from him and Maki and instead went for Naobito and that curse. It snuck up on the two of them, grabbing both by their ankles and slamming them down—harshly—against the floor creating cracks and dents in the tiles.
Naobito watched as the shadow slithered away from his ankle and went for the curse once again, repeatedly striking through its chest and other places, watching a dark liquid that the three of them could only assume was blood squirt out from the wounds. In a panic, the curse did a hand incantation that everyone saw, the subway station fading away and turning to a sunny beach. The water that was washing up on the golden beach was clear, Maki could see right through it for the first few feet and find seashells and crabs and small fish and such.
She could've sworn she saw it—a familiar face standing on the water for a split second (which felt like a solid minute when her eyes met those lifeless ones, irises long faded of their color and turned into an abyss in each eye) before it fell through, leaving ripples in the nearly clear water. Maki's heart dropped as a shiver ran up her spine. Her skin tingled as her legs began pulling her to the water, to dive in and swim to the bottom to find what she thought she would never see again—what she thought she would never feel again, never touch again, never give her heart to again.
Nanami was quick to get in front of Maki once again, his arm at her front as they both watched what was still water now erupt with a flurry of piranhas fly out, almost in the shape of a whirlwind as it stood up tall in the air. One of the piranhas—which Nanami concluded was shikigami— was parting from the school of fish and flew straight towards Maki, cutting through the air and almost hitting her right in the face before a swing of Nanami's blade struck it away, sending it stumbling into the water.
Maki whipped her head to the shikigami in the water which squirmed back to the school of fish, her gaze parting ways from it and looking back in the direction she could've sworn she saw a ghost in. Her chest tightened, her fists clenched as her heart began to race, a thin sheet of sweat coating her skin and shining in the sunlight. Her legs started to pull her to the water again, preparing to dive before her spear washed up on the shore.
A small, faint, slightly bubbly cloud released its grip on the spear as it slithered away from it, sliding back into the water. That answered her suspicion—you were present and in that water.
You couldn't hold your breath forever, your heartbeat was beginning to slow and your mind was ok with that, but your body wasn't. Your legs instinctively kicked you up from your spot on the shallow floor of the water, your body swimming unwillingly back up until your head popped up through the surface like a baby turtle breaking out of its shell. You gasped as the air finally came back to your lungs, catching your breath as you finally came back to reality. Your legs kept kicking in the water to keep you up, your hair was sticking to your forehead as the saltwater clung to your skin. Your head whipped around—the speed making you a little dizzy— and your eyes immediately landed on Maki. Your gaze was softened as you momentarily stared at her in awe—from afar she didn't change, but up close the bags under her eyes were visible. She looked dehydrated—Nanami would probably guess it's from the salt water but everyone else from Jujutsu Tech knows it's more.
A piranha flew at Nanami and Maki again, your eyebrows pinching together as your shadow slithered out from your hands faster than Nanami could swing his blade. Every one of them was your enemy given your alliance with Kenjaku and the disaster curses (minus Dagon, the curse who put up the domain). But your feelings were getting in the way, your mind thinking irrationally as you dived back under the water and sped up to the shore. Your body moves swiftly through the water, crawling back onto the shore and coughing up some of the water as you nearly fall to the sand. Nanami, Maki, and Naobito watched as you appeared on the beach as if this was some sort of mirage, watching you collect yourself as a stiff shadow formed in your hands—a katana, a small black smog around the blade and the handle—watching your legs carry you to the water until you were ankle deep. Your arms swung—a mediocre performance since your body was still getting oxygen back into your bloodstream— not fast enough to land a hit on Dagon as he quickly swayed himself from the sharp edge of your blade.
Naobito watched with eyes of disbelief. Nanami watched with furrowed eyes of confusion. Maki watched with eyes of revelation upon finally, finally seeing you again. After so many days of wallowing in a shell of her own flesh, after so many nights of crying, crying, crying, after so long of wishing you'd come running back to her arms. After days of waiting patiently on the edge of your bed. After nights of sleeping in your sheets to fill the gap that was supposed to be you. After hours of switching her glasses in hopes that each different lens would allow her to see what she'd been missing for what felt like forever—time sure did go by slowly without you—but was actually over a month. After nights and nights of staring at your blank ceiling and days and days of carrying that hole in her chest.
Dagon aimlessly swung his arms for a punch, missing your head miserably as you ducked underneath his fists. Your hand flew up and gripped his right arm, your nails digging into his cursed spirit skin as your other hand repeatedly punched him in the gut. Your fingers released their death grip on Dagon's arm, his yells and shouts of pain echoing on this sunny beach when your knuckles met what seemed to be his stomach at the speed of light—your first Black Flash, surprisingly.
Dagon flew yards and yards back, hitting the sand and making a small crater from the impact. You let your hand fall before you start speeding towards him—a hand grabbed you by your shirt and threw you back, your feet leaving the sand and kicking some in the air. You landed on your head, almost knocking out as the rest of your body fell. Your head was pounding—it was all you could do to not try and hold your head in the middle of the fight.
Naobito's teeth had never gritted so hard before, his jaw clenching as his beady eyes pierced into your face. His hands balled up into fists, cursed energy igniting around his body as he finally stood over you, looking down at you like you were scum.
Maki's eyebrows pinched together as she watched Naobito raise his leg for a kick, your hand stopping his foot before it met your face. Your eyes rolled up to glare at the man looming over you like a trippy image of a tower or a tree. Your eye twitched—you quickly rolled off the sand and stood up to uppercut him. You grabbed him by his shirt and started beating him again and again with your bleeding fist—you couldn't tell whose blood was whose, it was getting everywhere in the sand. In the corner of your eye, you could see Dagon picking himself up from that crater, and before you could react he was already in the water again and creating a swarm of shikigami.
Your lips parted as the wave split in two—one half coming for you and the other speeding for Nanami and Maki. You shamelessly threw Naobito into the swarm as a shield and darted for yourself, grabbing the katana that you'd dropped in the sand earlier in favor of beating Dagon into the ground, taking it in your hands and cutting a skilled hole through the wave of piranhas. You released one hand and pushed Maki away as a shadow appeared in thin air and your hand—your other arm protectively in front of her— the dark cloud turning into a giant wall of shadows to shield you both from the piranha shikigami.
In the wall of your shadows, Dagon slipped past and threw a punch to your jaw, knocking you back onto the sand. Your head hit the ground with a grunt, squinting your eyes at him and watching him swing a swift kick at Maki, sending her flying into the trees. Your heart dropped like you were on a roller coaster, nerves raced through your body as it began to shake, staring at the hole in the trees for what seemed like forever. Dagon's loud voice was drowned out by the pounding of your sunken heart in your ears, your eyes like saucers and piercing through the trees and eventually striking Dagon with your pupils.
"Dagon!" Your voice roughly rippled from your throat, leaving a tingling ache in your windpipe. Your skin felt hot from anger, your fingers were gripping your katana with a death grip, your palms callousing from the handle. Dagon swiftly held his arm defensively just in time to block the swing of your blade, leaving a deep gash on his arm, the dark liquid of his blood gushing out onto the sand.
Your arm pushes the blade deeper into his flesh, deeper, deeper, and eventually severing the bone and cutting off the limb. The arm fell to the sand in the puddle of blood a slick shade of black, reflecting the sunlight and heating it. Dagon's voice rose through his chest and throat, a growl of pain erupting through the air and echoing throughout the whole domain. You swing your katana again, making a deep cut in his chest and watching the blood spewing out and adding to the puddle.
You lift your leg to kick Dagon back a few feet before running your blade straight through his body, puncturing his ribs and sticking out of his back. A set of footsteps—faint ones, but you could still hear the sound of boots trudging against the sand. Your head—feeling feverishly hot from the intense glare of the sun—spun around and found Maki tramping through and out of the trees. A thick streak of blood was streaming down her cheek, a furious frown on her face—her nose scrunching up with four creases on the bridge where her glasses sat undamaged.
"If you're gonna call me weak," Maki's hand wiped the blood off the corner of her mouth. "Then you'd better fucking kill me in a single hit, octobitch!"
Your head whirled back around and you saw Dagon backing away from where you left him. The water rippled beside you, stepping out of it was a mangled Nanami with blood on the side of his face and staining his blond hair. His sleeve was ripped off and his shirt was torn up, blood scattered everywhere on it. Everyone but you was injured, meaning they'd be relying on you sooner or later to get them all out.
Just as your fingers tightened their grip on your sword handle, another presence entered the domain. Everyone's heads—yours, Maki's, Nanami's, Dagon's, and even Naobito's—turned to find Megumi casting his domain amid this beach. Megumi's gaze landed on your body and he gasped, almost stunned for a moment before realizing you were standing among everyone and not against everyone, maybe that went against the allegations?
"Maki-san!"
"Megumi!"
A black puddle formed right next to Maki, her eyes glancing down as she watched Playful Cloud emerge from the shadowy liquid and float into her hands (landing in her hands at the will of your cursed technique). She grimaced widely, her teeth shining in the sunlight and glimmering with a dirty look on her face. Her fingers gripped the red metal, her feet moving on their own and pulling her into the water next to you, watching Nanami trudge in the water.
Truth be told, you thought he died in the swarm of shikigami.
"You're alright," Maki muttered with a small frown; Nanami nodded curtly at her. "And what about the others?"
"Ino had to withdraw and Yuji's on his own," Megumi inserted himself into the conversation, walking into the water and joining the cluster. In the distance you could see Naobito fighting off Dagon with his one arm, trapping the curse in a series of frames and punching through them.
"You two, don't worry. I'll protect you," Nanami spared a slightly longer glance at you, his eyes lingering on your unreadable expression with your hooded eyes and your pursed lips. He turned to face Dagon, watching Naobito continue to trap and punch, repeating the process over and over again.
Nanami was about to dash until a hole formed in the middle of the water; muddy, black liquid mixing in with the clear and dark blue waters. He glared at it and parted his lips, "Everyone! Assemble!"
Nanami and Maki quickly sped away for the hole in the water, leaving you behind for you two to watch the injured Dagon on the sand. His arm was still severed, giving you the perfect advantage to strike your final blow and let everyone leave this domain without any danger—but killing Dagon would mean eventually having to answer to Kenjaku about it sooner or later.
You started for the hole too late, someone else had already entered. The hole was shut, leaving everyone trapped in the domain once again, a sharp sigh of frustration escaping your lips. Your jaw clenched as you gripped your katana tighter and quickly dashed to Dagon, digging your blade into the middle of his chest before dicing him to pieces before the unknown presence could.
Everything faded back to the subway, leaving you standing in the middle and finding another curse—Jogo—watching as you all appeared. Your gaze met his, the singular eye on his blue body widening when he saw that you were actually on a streak around Shibuya. Your hooded, piercing eyes struck right through his one eye, sending a shiver down his limbs as he watched you begin to turn away, walking back up the stairs.
Maki was about to turn to face you only to be met with your back to her once again, her heart dropping to the pit of her stomach in an instant. Her breathing felt short, like she couldn't get a full breath as the realization dawned on her—you were slipping from her grasp once more, watching you wander further away from her soul.
“No! Y/n!”
Flames ignited from Jogo's hands once he realized you weren't interfering, a grin spread across his darkened lips as he struck Naobito first, his body falling to the floor with a low thump. Nanami was next; at first, he was unresponsive until he also fell to the station floor, the flames on his body shining in Maki's eyes. Jogo eventually reached her, the flame touching her shirt first before the rest of her torso caught on fire, her body immediately dropping to the floor and rolling. Her skin boiled, her tissue and muscle-melting from the fire as the flames brought tears to her eyes that did nothing to douse the heat.
The sounds of spine-chilling screams echoed throughout the station and rang in your ears. You stopped and paused to listen to the sounds, your heart freezing and dropping rapidly as it dawns on you—you let Maki die. You let your only love get killed by the consequences of walking away, turning a blind eye and a deaf ear to the flames lighting up the walls and the wails of pain rippling from throats; letting Jogo take away what was once your beloved, now a burning corpse on the floor.
Your katana slipped from your fingers, falling to the floor with a loud clanging that echoed through the walls of the station. Your head lowered, your jaw clenching and your head beginning to pound as a single tear escapes your ducts, trickling down your sweaty cheek, sticky from the humid air from the beach-domain. Your salty tear hung off the curve of your jaw, it’s trail making a small stain on your face; eventually slipping and falling to the floor where it landed on the blade of your katana beginning to fade.
Your heart sank with every step you took, eventually emerging from a staircase and stepping out to the city, witnessing Nobara and Mahito in a fight.
Nobara senses your cursed presence, her head turning to find you staring at her with a dead gaze, your eyes piercing through her eyes as her throat dried up with a twinge of fear stirring in the pit of her gut.
“Senpai—“
“Mahito,” you looked at him. “Do you intend to kill her?”
Mahito glanced at you, a grin forming on his face, his teeth glimmering in the street lights as his gaze turns more and more malevolent.
“I do.”

20 SEO Mistakes To Avoid In 2024
Introduction In the rapidly evolving field of digital marketing, search engine optimization, or SEO, continues to be essential for success online. Nonetheless, the field of SEO is always evolving due to changes in user behaviour and algorithmic changes. It's critical to keep up with the newest trends and steer clear of typical traps if you want to guarantee that your website stays visible and competitive.
In this post, we'll look at 20 SEO blunders to avoid in 2024 to help you move deftly through the always-shifting digital landscape.
20 Mistakes You Should Avoid In SEO For Best Results
Ignoring Mobile Optimization:
In 2024, mobile optimization will no longer be a luxury; it will be essential. Since mobile devices are used by the majority of internet users to access content, not optimizing your website for mobile devices might result in lower visibility and lower user engagement.
Ignoring Page Speed:
Slow-loading pages can have a big effect on your site's SEO success in a world where speed is everything. Consumers demand immediate satisfaction, and search engines give preference to websites that load quickly. To improve page speed, make sure to minimize HTTP queries, take advantage of browser caching, and optimize images.
Ignoring Voice Search Optimization:
It is now mandatory to optimize your content for voice search due to the popularity of voice assistants like Siri, Alexa, and Google Assistant. Take into account long-tail keywords and natural language searches to match user speech patterns when conducting voice searches.
Ignoring HTTPS Migration:
In today's digital world, security is crucial, and Google favours secure websites. Making the switch to HTTPS improves your site's trustworthiness and security in the eyes of search engines and users alike.
Ignoring Local SEO:
Ignoring local SEO can be an expensive error for companies that cater to local customers. To increase exposure in local search results, make sure your business listings are correct and consistent across online directories and make use of local keywords.
Failing to Optimize for Featured Snippets:
Search engine results pages (SERPs) now prominently display featured snippets, which give users instant answers to their questions. To increase your chances of getting included in snippets, organize your material to provide succinct answers to frequently asked questions.
Excessive Anchor Text Optimization:
Although anchor text optimization is crucial for search engine optimization, excessive optimization may raise red flags with search engines. To avoid fines, keep the diversity of your anchor text in a natural balance by using synonyms and variations.
Ignoring User Experience (UX):
UX affects metrics like click-through rate, dwell duration, and bounce rate, and it is a major factor in SEO. To increase UX and SEO performance, give priority to responsive design, appealing content, and easy-to-navigate pages.
Underestimating the Power of Internal Linking:
Internal linking improves search engine optimization by dispersing link equity throughout your pages and assisting users in navigating your website. Include pertinent internal links in your text to improve crawlability and create a logical hierarchy.
Ignore Structured Data Markup:
Rich snippets and improved SERP displays are made possible by structured data markup, which gives search engines context about your material. Use structured data markup to increase search engine visibility and click-through rate.
Ignoring Image Optimization:
Images are more than simply decorative components; alt text, file names, and image sitemaps all help with SEO. To increase accessibility and SEO, optimize photos for size and relevancy and provide a description to the alt text.
Neglecting Content Quality:
In an era of abundant content, quality is paramount. The SEO performance of your website may be harmed by thin, pointless, or duplicate content. Concentrate on producing valuable, high-quality content that speaks to and meets the demands of your target audience.
Ignoring Social Signals:
Social media can affect search visibility indirectly by raising brand awareness, engagement, and traffic, even though its direct impact on SEO is up for discussion. Sustain a consistent presence on pertinent social media channels to increase the visibility of your material.
Ignoring technical SEO:
Technical SEO, which includes aspects like crawlability, indexing, and site structure, lays the groundwork for your site's overall performance. Perform routine audits to find and fix technical problems that could limit the SEO potential of your website.
Keyword Stuffing:
The overuse of keywords, often known as keyword stuffing, is a holdover from antiquated search engine optimization techniques and can now lead to search engine penalties. To keep your content relevant and readable, instead concentrate on naturally occurring keyword integration.
Ignoring Video Optimization:
Videos are taking over search results and provide a captivating way for users to consume material. To increase your videos' exposure in standard and video search results, make sure they have clear names, descriptions, and transcripts.
Ignoring Backlink Quality:
In today's SEO environment, quality is more important than quantity even if backlinks are still a crucial ranking component. Make getting backlinks from reputable, relevant sources your top priority, and avoid deceptive link-building strategies that can damage the reputation of your website.
Ignoring Local Citations:
In local search engine optimization, local citations—that is, references to your company's name, address, and phone number (NAP)—are quite important. Make sure that your NAP information is the same on all websites, social media pages, and review sites.
Ignoring SEO Analytics:
An effective SEO strategy requires data-driven decision-making. Track your progress and find optimization possibilities by keeping an eye on key performance indicators (KPIs), including organic traffic, keyword rankings, and conversion rates, on a regular basis.
Failing to Adjust to Algorithm Changes:
Algorithms used by search engines are always changing, so what works now might not work tomorrow. Keep up with algorithm changes and modify your SEO plan as necessary to keep your website visible and relevant in search results.
Conclusion
Success in the ever-changing world of SEO depends on avoiding frequent errors and keeping up with current trends. You can position your website for increased visibility, traffic, and eventually business growth by avoiding these 20 SEO blunders in 2024.

In this guide, we’ll outline the key steps to structure your Google Ads campaign for better ROI.
Also, for a deep understanding, consider reading the blog: The definitive guide on maximizing ROI with Google ads.
1. Define Clear Goals and Objectives
Before diving into campaign setup, establish clear goals for what you want to achieve. Are you focusing on brand awareness, lead generation, or eCommerce sales? Defining your objectives helps you:
Choose the right campaign type (e.g., Search, Display, Shopping, or Video).
Set measurable KPIs like cost-per-click (CPC), conversion rate, or return on ad spend (ROAS).
2. Conduct Comprehensive Keyword Research
Keywords form the foundation of any Google Ads campaign. Use tools like Google’s Keyword Planner or SEMrush to identify relevant keywords that align with your goals. Segment these keywords into:
High-intent keywords (e.g., “buy running shoes” for sales campaigns).
Informational keywords for awareness campaigns.
Group your keywords logically to make ad groups tightly focused, which improves your Quality Score and ad relevance.
3. Create Well-Structured Campaigns and Ad Groups
Organizing your campaigns and ad groups is critical for precise targeting and budget allocation. Follow these principles:
Campaign-Level Structure: Organize campaigns by objectives, product categories, or services.
Ad Group-Level Structure: Group related keywords and tailor your ads for each group.
For example, if you’re advertising running shoes, create separate ad groups for men’s, women’s, and kids’ running shoes.
4. Optimize Your Ad Copy and Assets
Your ads should be compelling, clear, and relevant to the audience’s intent. Incorporate the following best practices:
Use action-oriented language (e.g., “Shop Now,” “Get a Free Quote”).
Highlight your unique selling propositions (USPs).
Include keywords from your ad group in the ad copy.
Leverage ad extensions like sitelinks, callouts, and structured snippets to provide additional information and improve click-through rates (CTR).
5. Leverage Audience Targeting
Audience targeting refines your reach to users most likely to convert. Use Google’s audience options to target:
Affinity Audiences: Broader audiences based on interests and habits.
In-Market Audiences: Users actively searching for products or services.
Remarketing Lists: Re-engage past visitors who showed interest in your offerings.
6. Monitor and Optimize Bidding Strategies
Choosing the right bidding strategy significantly impacts ROI. Popular options include:
Manual CPC for precise control.
Target ROAS for automated ROI-focused bidding.
Maximize Conversions to drive volume while staying within your budget.
Continuously analyze performance and adjust bids based on data.
7. Refine Landing Pages
A high-quality landing page is essential for converting ad clicks into actions. Ensure that your landing pages:
Are highly relevant to the ad copy.
Load quickly and are mobile-friendly.
Feature clear calls-to-action (CTAs) and minimal distractions.
Pro Tip: Conduct A/B testing to find the most effective designs and CTAs.
8. Regularly Analyze and Optimize Campaign Performance
Ongoing optimization is the key to better ROI. Use Google Ads reports to:
Identify high-performing and underperforming keywords.
Adjust budget allocations to prioritize successful campaigns.
Experiment with new ad creatives and targeting options.
Conclusion
Effectively structuring your Google Ads campaign is the foundation for achieving better ROI. By defining clear goals, organizing campaigns logically, refining ad copy, and leveraging audience targeting, you can create campaigns that consistently perform. Don’t forget to regularly analyze and optimize your strategies to stay ahead of the competition.

Jubilee Debates, TikTok, and American Politics: A Malaysian Youth's Perspective
MDA20009 Digital Communities │ Week 5: Digital Citizenship 1: Political Engagement
So what place does a Malaysian, (that has no political knowledge) have to have a say in this? American politics. In this day and age, social media has played a significant role in politics, which is hard to ignore—even a small country like Malaysia is kept in the loop of the chaos of American democracy, especially during the current Trump-Harris election. No doubt that it is an educational experience for many of us to witness the dynamics of U.S. politics unfold through platforms like TikTok and YouTube. Well, I guess if it's already displayed on social media for the eyes of others, then anyone can at least have a say in this.
A Global Phenomenon
American politics is accessible to a worldwide audience all thanks to modern communication technologies. Globally, people may quickly get news and comments about the U.S. election because of platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and X (previously Twitter). Foreigners are also compelled to watch the discussions and political comments that shape the U.S. elections, which have turned into a spectacle.
When Woke Meets Conservative
A prime illustration of this is how the debates organized by Jubilee, like "1 Liberal Teen vs. 20 Trump Supporters", have managed to draw hordes of viewers. Platforms like Jubilee tackle complex political issues more easily because they assemble both sides and make it entertaining. For example, it is one thing for the audience to watch a Dean Withers-type person standing in front of a crowd with opposing views but firmly standing his ground. It simplifies American political issues for domestic audiences and even provides insight to foreign viewers about America's political landscape, which the mainstream media may not adequately do.

What’s especially fascinating is how quickly clips from these debates go viral on platforms like TikTok. Short snippets of strong arguments, memorable quotes, or heated exchanges get shared, re-shared, and commented on by millions. These clips transcend their original platform, appearing on TikTok feeds, Instagram Reels, and even Reddit threads. Social media’s algorithms tend to push this viral content to wider audiences, which means these political discussions get incredible exposure, reaching people who might not have initially sought them out.
Social Media’s Grip on Today's Youth
Political marketing through TikTok and YouTube has become very popular among the youth, who are likely to rely on them rather than the news. Secure and friendly debates can trigger creativity, with interesting short videos getting the attention of the politically disinterested.
In other words, social media sites' impact in shaping the users' political opinions can also be viewed from a constructive and negative perspective. The content is usually aggressive and abusive, promoting divisiveness and unhealthy rivalries. Most studies claim that "social media grows political content that is mostly unhealthy" (Platt, 2024). However, this way of doing things will worsen as the election process approaches. Political smearing worked as an effective bait, so social media websites, in turn, encouraged their users to avail such content even more, leading them to have an exaggerated belief on how most people felt about an issue. Platt (2024) also notes that if social media is one's primary means of communication, one should anticipate political blowback and violence. Social media does provide access to knowledge, but it also encourages the creation of "filter bubbles". These are the bubbles where people only interact with content that agrees with their opinion and helps further entrench existing beliefs.
Amidst all this, social media has revolutionised how people view politics by bringing the concept of the "everyday expert" to the forefront. For example, individuals such as Dean Withers from the Jubilee video, who has neither run for office nor works as a commentator, still hold a great deal of influence by simply sharing his views with great emotion. This is an evolution of what Cunningham (2024) refers to as 'rage bait' content, where disputes tend to be more espoused to engage the audience, in most cases, for their anger and arguments, but not for any constructive communication. Influencers like Withers embody this shift in information, where ordinary people become the source of public opinion and cause polemics. As Cunningham (2024) noted, such interactions correspond to the increasing normative demand for emotional and conflict-inducing material usually found online.
Watching and Learning
For the people outside of the U.S., following American politics on social media is interesting but educational at the same time. It provides a glimpse of the governance systems, democracy, and social discourse, which makes one think about how the democratic processes in different parts of the world work. We are mere spectators and students, observing how a living democracy functions, its merits and demerits.
The role of social media in politics is not that straightforward. It makes conversations international and opens up new people, but it could also promote conflict and fake news, which undermines journalistic ethics. It is fair to say that as we watch TikTok, YouTube or Instagram, we are part of the global audience who is watching democracy unfold in real time, and as a result, we have to be careful how it all plays out.

Advanced SEO Techniques to Drive Organic Growth in 2024
Introduction In the competitive world of digital marketing, staying ahead in SEO requires more than basic on-page optimizations and link building. As search engines evolve, advanced SEO strategies become critical for maintaining and increasing visibility. This article dives into advanced SEO techniques to enhance your organic reach and keep you at the forefront of search engine results in 2024.
Optimize for User Intent: Beyond Keywords Understand the Four Types of User Intent: Informational, Navigational, Transactional, and Commercial. Craft content that addresses these specific intents.
Use Semantic Search & Natural Language: Google's understanding of language has improved, focusing on topics rather than exact keywords. Use synonyms and related terms naturally within content. Focus on Long-Tail Keywords: While short keywords are competitive, long-tail keywords often align better with specific user intent and are easier to rank for.
Advanced Content Structuring and Clustering Topic Clustering: Group related content into clusters with a central 'pillar' page. For instance, if you’re in digital marketing, a central "Advanced SEO Techniques" page can link to clusters on user intent, technical SEO, link-building tactics, etc.
Internal Linking Optimization: Strategically link cluster content back to the main page and vice versa. This structure signals relevance to search engines, boosting the authority of your core content.
Schema Markup: Implement structured data for rich snippets. Schema helps search engines understand the context, which can lead to enhanced visibility (like FAQ snippets or How-to sections).
Harnessing AI and Machine Learning for Content Strategy Use AI to Identify Content Gaps: Tools like MarketMuse, Clearscope, and SurferSEO analyze competitors’ content, helping you find and cover gaps. Leverage Predictive Analytics: Platforms like Google Analytics and other SEO tools can help predict trends. By focusing on future keywords and trends, you can stay ahead of competitors.
Content Personalization: With AI, you can deliver personalized content based on user behavior. Tailor CTAs and recommendations based on each user's interaction history.
Technical SEO Enhancements Site Speed Optimization: A fast site is essential. Use Core Web Vitals as a benchmark, and optimize images, reduce server response time, and implement lazy loading.
Crawl Budget Optimization: Ensure that only important pages are crawled by managing noindex tags and removing unnecessary pages (like duplicates).
Advanced Mobile SEO: With Google’s mobile-first indexing, having a fully optimized mobile site is vital. Test and improve responsiveness, mobile page speed, and usability.
Enhanced Backlinking Strategies Authority & Relevancy: Focus on getting links from high-authority, niche-relevant sites rather than generic links. Digital PR and Brand Mentions: Engage in PR campaigns that result in media mentions, which indirectly enhance SEO through brand visibility and trust.
Guest Posting 2.0: Instead of traditional guest posting, collaborate on in-depth studies or expert roundup articles, which naturally attract backlinks and add credibility.
Optimizing for Voice Search and Visual Search Voice Search SEO: Focus on answering “Who, What, Where, When, and How” questions directly. Optimize for natural-sounding, conversational phrases. Visual Search: Ensure images are optimized with descriptive, relevant filenames and alt text. Use image sitemaps to help Google discover your images. Rich Media Content: Video and audio content is becoming a major part of SEO. Hosting transcribed podcasts or adding video summaries can cater to different audience preferences.
User Experience (UX) Signals as a Ranking Factor Optimize Core Web Vitals: Google emphasizes page experience. Improving metrics like Largest Contentful Paint (LCP), First Input Delay (FID), and Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS) can improve rankings. Reduce Bounce Rate and Dwell Time: Engage visitors by enhancing readability and structuring content for skimming. Break up content with headers, bullet points, and visuals. UX Design and Interactivity: Create a seamless user journey with an intuitive, interactive, and easy-to-navigate website.
Focus on E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness) Author and Site Authority: Create a detailed author bio and ensure content on your site is credible and reliable. Regularly Update Content: Fresh, accurate content is crucial, particularly in YMYL (Your Money, Your Life) niches. Build Trust Signals: Showcasing testimonials, case studies, and credentials can boost trustworthiness. Conclusion With Google and other search engines continuously refining algorithms, advanced SEO techniques are essential to remain visible and relevant. By focusing on user intent, optimizing your site structure, leveraging AI, and enhancing the user experience, you can maintain a competitive edge. Implementing these advanced SEO tactics will not only boost your search rankings but also improve your audience’s experience, leading to sustained organic growth in 2024.
This post can be further customized by adding more specific tips or examples, depending on your target audience and their familiarity with these advanced concepts. Let me know if you need adjustments or if you'd like more in-depth details on any of these sections!
