MP - Userflow (LO2)
Tumblr media
I was trying organize my thoughts and how users would navigate the spaces.
Thus, to tell the story, I did this final user flow. However, the room won't be seen because that's unnecessary to the narrative. Initially, the reason I aimed to include the room is because I hoped it would tell the narrative. However, I won't be able to control how users navigate the space so I left that idea (note: I've already designed them, they can be seen below).
For the church, I removed it because I have no visual representation of how it looks but I do believe it's also important as religion plays a huge role in Nigeria (we are very spiritual).
Another thing I finally wanted to mention is I placed all the food in the living room because I want to organize everything in a way that users can access it all at once (this is why I created tabs, to avoid them needing to exit every-time there's an action to be made).

User Flow using User persona 1
Tumblr media
Following Dot's feedback, I decided to create a single user flow to narrow down the pages I need to create for the website. I will use this user flow to create the working prototype and the video showcasing how someone may use the website.
This gave me abetter understanding on how the website could be used. This helped me to visualise where the information needs to be placed on each page because I was able to see how the user may encounter the information and when. For example the shopping page must mention the craft it is linked to but the home page also needs to mention how they can get to the crafts.

Price: [price_with_discount] (as of [price_update_date] - Details) [ad_1] $1 Billion in self-serve revenue.Sounds a bit crazy, right?Well, it might sound crazy. But it’s not impossible. And I know this because this is what I did over the last 5 years: guided 408+ software companies to $1 Billion in collective self-serve revenue—using product-led growth. After all, product-led growth is what Slack, Miro, Google, and OpenAI used to scale to legendary heights. It's all about understanding consumer behavior, buying habits, and leveraging your product to drive results. But here’s the thing: product-led growth isn’t a silver bullet.Simply slapping on a free trial or freemium tier to existing software doesn’t guarantee you’ll suddenly drive millions in revenue. It requires an in-depth understanding of your target audience, the market, and the decision-making process. After 9 years of working alongside hundreds of SaaS companies, diligently tracking what they did and when – I was able to pin down what separates the wildly successful, multi-million-dollar product-led SaaS companies from the rest. And no, they didn’t just have great onboarding.Or transparent pricing. What these companies had was a driven, visionary founder who set up an unshakeable foundation for the future of their company. A foundation so strong it could easily support their exponential growth. What’s more, there were 9 key elements that repeated themselves across these foundations, forming an exact system for building and scaling a profitable, product-led company to 7, 8, even 9 figures in revenue—and beyond. And that’s what I want to share with you today.Hi, I’m Wes Bush, founder of ProductLed.com and author of the bestseller Product-Led Growth: How to Build a Product That Sells Itself. And in this new book, The Product-Led Playbook, I’m sharing with you the ProductLed System™ – a system of 9 elements that SaaS companies can implement to build that same unshakeable foundation for scaling their ARR to multiple millions without a sales team. All boiled down into a simple, step-by-step process.“This book is the go-to manual for building a successful product-led business.” – Esben Friis-Jensen, Co-founder at UserFlow ($5M ARR with 3 employees). Here’s a sample of what you’ll uncover inside:What the 9 key elements are of a strong product-led organization – and how to implement each one, step-by-step.What the 15 moats are that you can use to hone your strategic differentiation and make what you do hard to copy.Which clues you need to look for to identify your best-fit (and most likely to pay) users. How to design a generous free plan that lets users experience the product's value and taps into customer preferences without giving everything away. What you need to put on your homepage to increase free trial sign-ups and tap into consumer motivation to encourage users to actually use your product. What “the First Strike” principle is and how to use it for users to see value in your product within 7 minutes. How to craft pricing strategies that clearly align with users' buying habits and makes it obvious to users which plan is right for them.Which metrics you should really be tracking for behavior analysis and market insights (not all data is created equal). How to identify bottlenecks so you can tackle them head-on and scale your growth. What you need to align your team and get them pumped about growing your business with you.& much moreI’ve also packed the book with action items at the end of each section, as well as templates and canvases, so you’ll never feel like you’re fumbling in the dark.Because there is a better way to grow and scale your SaaS. A better way to build a legendary company you’ll be remembered for.And if you want to find out what that is, then order your copy today. ASIN ‏ : ‎ B0DJ3854MV Publisher

accounts are much more limited in how much they can reblog than they are in how much they can like. the site has been set up this way since likes were added in 2009 or so. you can issue 1000 like a day and only do 250 posts today between original posts, queued posts, and reblogs and those limits have been the same for going on 12 years at least. there will always be asymmetry. let alone that the userflow for liking is hitting a single button and moving on vs the multiple taps or tap and drag needed for the various reblog options. and of course theres way more people that aren't hitting any of the direct interaction options at all (reply/reblog/like/follow) not least because of how many people are reading random blogs without being logged in, or simply can't be bothered.
also: likes are always factored into the recommendation systems on this platform, even though unknowledgeable users think they aren't. this drives performance in tag browsing specifically very strongly. this is intentional design in the tumblr system to account for the fact that liking is by far easier to do and is also why the default is for a new account's Likes feed to be visible to other users.
May I speak candidly?

Daft Punk: Shoppin’ After All Case Study
My second project for the Google UX certification.
My prompt was to design a merchandise customization flow for my favorite band.
I created and conducted my research for this project most of June 2023. I used Adobe XD to develop a responsive website prototype to conduct my usability testing.

These were the initial mockups I used when I conducted my moderated usability study.
I found after my study that the user flow was pretty simple and that the icons helped when shifting through different products.
High-Fidelity Prototype
My takeaway after conducting my final usability study is to incorporate more iterations for the user while shifting through the products and develop a more interactive user reward once they complete the checkout process.
As always, I welcome feedback as I continue my UX design journey.

User Flow
To make the user flow easier to understand, I focused on simplifying the post it note flow, Tamara and Tom created earlier. This will make it more concise and easier to understand on the presentation.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I decided to use colours to separate the different sections of the app and make it easier to see how the areas would connect when used. When discussing this with Tamara, she pointed out that flow charts used shapes to indicate different sections and decisions. This made the flow chart easier to understand and see.

New Screen Sketches (LO2)
Tumblr media
Using my new userflow as a guide I picked out what I felt were the 5 most important screens to showcase my idea and really plan them out. I also took this time to plan out some of the illustrations I had in mind and give myself some guidance for when I create them later.
