For the ship thing: VaaLink (Vaati x Link). Could you pretty pretty please explain if you do or don't ship it

i'll tell you what. i've never considered this ship. in the games where vaati and link directly interact, there's not really much romantic tension happening between them, given that... well, vaati strikes me as a particularly babyfaced adult, and Link 12-15 at most charitable. that's a solid no from me. but if you placed them in any other setting, where they're on more equal footing... if you abide by the timeline, Vaati was the first rise of evil after the promised curse of Demise. i wonder if he'd get jealous of being cast aside by this infuriatingly promising rival in favor of some kind of guy with a big pig inside of him. vaati does have a flair for the dramatic something fierce. i can see him getting way into getting mad as fuck over this turn of events.

i'd have to think more on the dynamic before i can say "i ship it". for now it's a no. but in some other universe, i think there'd definitely be an interesting RIVALRY going on. which is also fun! ah, man. vaati should've been in hyrule warriors!

Soooo I did a VaaLink drawing using some palettes (that I found at @color-palettes ). Link's palette is named "The passage of time has once again killed my violets" and Vaati's palette is named "The dark prince is blissfully in love" which I thought worked perfect for this ship.
