It’s probably gonna be impossible for me to take him seriously now, not just because of the hair, but, well...the one meme. If you know, you know already and I apologize for that fact.

The first two options fall kinda close to one another, it just depends on the specifics! Aldrich will somehow show "traits" of whoever he eaten, like how you can receive Smough's armour from him = it is very apparent that he ate Smough upon invading (how ironic lol). + Worth to mention he might have devoured Nito('s scraps) as well, since he is using Gravelord Sword:

But maybe eating someone so powerful as Gwyndolin permanently "locked" him into this shape and there isn't any further point of digestion :p

At the same time, element of Aldrich is water, so maybe literally any other God would have lesser effect but since Gwyndolin's element is Moon, it is able to move him? @val-of-the-north suggested that maybe what remains of Gwyndolin is still unwittingly "holds him back", so that's why Aldrich is kind of just vibing in that room instead of going outside and devouring more? + This is of course following the idea that Sulyvahn doesn't have an interest in Age of the Deep and fed him Gwyndolin in self-defence (might explain very tattered look, like if he was struggling)!

At the same time, for all we know, maybe Aldrich already looked similar to Gwyndolin in life! Average Irythillian appearance is pale skin and black hair, but also white hair might have been a trace of darkness corruption! For example, The Four Kings, corrupted by Abyss, have white hair, Deacons, corrupted by the Deep, have glowing red eyes.. Abyss and Deep are similar in terms of:

Or, hell, this could be why all Abyss Watchers have white hair and glowing red eyes! So imagine if Aldrich simply regained his human form, minus all the fat he accumulated as it went into his lower body now, and he only imitates Gwyndolin's fighting tactics!

^ Also the idea that Gwyndolin DID change from pastel to goth by the times of DS3 IS a really enjoyable one xD It is kind of like full moon vs new moon stages! I just started to feel less confident about it over time since Gwyndolin's statue in Irythill features their typical outfit, minus the crown and some jewellery and his trademark staff! Meanwhile, Aldrich's clothing is drastically different and he wields generic staff of Darkmoon Knights, with his crown in fact being more similar to this design. It gives me an impression that Aldrich hastily copied, knowingly or unwittingly, what Gwyndolin was like from vague memories, just could not quite grasp it of course. The moon cycles symbolism is still a really fun headcanon though!

(Not to sidetrack but I love the detail of Gwyndolin's statue missing the snakes, as well as him depicted with covered eyes even without the crown! Just proves further for me that his eyes likely were dragonic, like Priscilla's and Yorshka's!)

And, then, again, since Sulyvahn was acting like someone speaking for the sickly God, maybe they were still intending to squeeze out whatever use it could have had xd This is a more shitposty idea than a serious one, but worth to mention!

So given my recent post, I wanted to talk about something specific with AI art in fandom communities I've noticed. Because, unfortunately, that's not the first time I've seen AI art of Stardew.

There are lots of posts out there about identifying AI art that will word this better than I could. You may have at least heard about checking the hands, though some AI programs are getting better at this.

But the thing I noticed with the previous SDV AI art I've seen and the one in the most recent post isn't necessarily something objective you can point to as evidence, though that did exist too. The thing that first tipped me off was this:

My main silly contribution to the fandom is my comics, along with my shitposty sketches. And when I saw this art my thought was - wait, that's it? That can't be it.

Because the concept of Alex working at Mcdonald's is a bit off the wall, but it's a prompt with so much comedic potential. A human being who comes up with this idea wouldn't just make a pixel art of a vaguely Alex-like guy at a register. There'd likely be a few other Stardew characters nearby making his life difficult in some way.

Heck, at the very least there'd be little nods to Stardew throughout the background of the art. Take a look at other artists in the community who do any amount of detailed backgrounds, you'll bet your ass there's going to be some silly Stardew-esque product shoved somewhere in a retail scene. At the very least the register picture would be of a survival burger.

Because when art is created from a human mind, those little touches will always work themselves in somewhere. And especially with fandom, I feel like artists like to reward people for looking close enough at the art to go "is that X in the back???"

But hell, at the very least, no fan artist I know would ever think of the prompt "x character is working at McDonald's" and then stop exactly there.

this issue was something i felt i should've addressed when it first started and is long over due as my previous apology was bogged down with ridiculous reasoning for my behavior. i'm only hoping that this post will rectify that.

TL;DR: I, the user Baby Dollinkz, previously known as Pastel Snorpy and Neon Drawinkz, acted chronically online and straight up abusive and told everyone they had to follow cannon while also saying people don't have to draw colorful muppets a specific way. and then afterwards tried to manipulate someone to feel bad for blocking me.

i've been trying to distance myself due to my behavior when i lashed out on the behalf of someone's comfort and then after that blamed the people i was in a call at the time for my action.

none of the people in that call are to blame for how i acted. i was the dumbass acting out of pocket and should've just dropped the subject.

this was something i chose to do without properly thinking how i could effect others. and distancing myself wasn't a proper thing to do as it was just avoiding the problem as a whole.

i specifically targeted the user flooftyfizzlebeans/sophdoesart for shipping Lizeggty and tried to justify it with my bullshit reasons. which was the most chronically online thing i've done and personally promised myself not to do that again. which luckily i haven't done so at least from what i remember.

after the first post i made vaguing about them in a hateful shitposty way i woke up the next day seeing people telling me that i messed up and should apologize. which led me to making my first "apology" which was just a pity party explaining why i was right and everyone was wrong.

make it worse in between posts i cried and whined about how i was (rightfully) soft blocked by an ex friend and essentially tried to manipulate people to feel bad for me being a little shit.

and to that ex friend and soph, i completely understand if you choose to disregard this apology and/or feel this apology wasn't done well. you don't have to forgive me and you can ignore this.

this is me putting it out there that im trying to change as the person. hopefully i'll figure out why i've acted the way i have. I'm sorry you had to deal with my behavior.

I’m becoming very interested in camps and I’m wondering if you have any tips for beginners?

I’m wondering how people make entries with other characters with mischaracterising them

im a real amateur camp player and i just kinda write entries to have fun. it also depends on what sort of camp youre in (more strategy based, more shitposty, more lorey, etc). if you wanna place high, you gotta appeal to whoever the host is i guess, but i just sorta make entries that i like and sometimes they do well (there is a new camp im in where my entries get last every time lol)

as far as including other peoples characters, i dont really worry TOO much about how i characterize them. I usually get like a vague idea of who the character is from the signup/other entries and then just run with it. in the tesla entries, i cant guarantee the characters i used were written correctly, but i dont think that matters so much as characterizing them consistently. i think its just inevitable that youll never get a character exactly right if its not yours. but if youre characterization makes sense and is consistent throughout your entries, itll be believable enough. if youre really concerned with it though, you can ask whoever owns the character about what youre writing to see what they think

character dynamics is something im told i write really well but i couldnt really tell you how i do it cause i just kinda bullshit stuff. my usual gimmick with writing other peoples characters is just "everyone else doesnt really like my character for whatever reason" but thats just cause i like writing punching bags i guess. its really a sort of trial and error thing.

ultimately my advice is just if you like your idea, then use it

ROFL the "X" has to be the WORST rebranding I've heard, at least recently!!! 😆 So, I can't miss out on any opportunity to mention or dunk on it ✌️😌 I remembered I stumbled upon some Tekken rpers when I used to use Twitter, and yeah - they seemed to be mostly just shitposty. Which is understandable when you have a character limit to write with. And I love shitposts, that might be obvs. But it's not the prime thing I wanna focus on, y'know?

The shipping discourse is definitely up there as the worst discourse. Of course, the worst is the fandom's treatment and views regarding Jin's character, but that's mostly because Jin is a character that means a lot to me. Anyway, the shipping discourse drove me crazy because people would literally call others harmful names just for their ship... they'd call them stupid, and pretty much attack them for shipping something they don't. They'd also retweet / comment on other people's ship art just to say how bad the ship is. Hell, I got attacked for simply stating that Jin and Hwoarang are canonical FRIENDS because they felt them being FRIENDS was getting in the way of their precious NONCANON ship. These were mostly Xi.aoJin and K.azJun shippers I've noticed. Which is sad, given I like those ships (which even if I stated I did, it didn't matter if HwoaJin was my fav ship LMAO)

And this may be going off topic a lil but now I'm thinking about it - but no ship is canon in Tek. Even Kazuya and Jun who had a child together; they're not really canon because they never elaborated on their romantic feelings together. For all we know, it could've just been a one night stand and Jin was just an accident. Xiaoyu's feelings for Jin are canon, but it's not canon that Jin returns those feelings. Though they may be the most 'canon ship' - it's even a little unclear with Lars and Alisa. The only true 100% canon Tek ships are Heihachi and Kazumi (the latter who's dead), Roger and his wife maybe, and Law and his nameless wife. Other than that, all ships are just one sided (see Kuma and Panda as well) or just very vague to the point you can't really consider them canon. So it's even sillier when people try to attack others for not shipping the "canon ship".

A few passionate townsfolk decided to stay up a little longer, trying to determine where all the corpses are coming from, or how most of them are still alive. (And why I keep calling them corpses despite almost all of them being Not Dead.)

They've all come from a single location, far off on the east. Math wizardry has determined that it's coming from a specific building. It's been identified as [whatever the fuck Twiz's homeland is called] Castle. Yes that's a placeholder name, what're you gonna do, call the cops?

"Hey, wait a sec. I lived there!" oh she has no idea does she

"I could probably sneak in and find out what's up!" ohhh twiz you sweet summer child. you have no idea, do you?

Viltas is an ice mage, and Twiz's childhood friend. He was there to witness Twiz unsealing the ressurrection magic, and got some rez magic of his own from the explosion. He's also very good at being evil

Yep. Twiz just found a captive. She fucked around and has now found Alicia, who's being kept as a ""Twiz replacement"" for Viltas. Worse yet, she seems fully aware of this, and of what'll happen to her when Twiz is found. Twiz agrees to hide her, because neither of them asked for this shit.

With a deep sense of unease, Twiz regroups with the guards who keep insisting on following her. She's led to the throne room, where Viltas sits on a throne (duh) like the bastard he is. He explains "everything", but not before clearing the room of everyone besides Twiz and himself. Incoming verbal stunlock!!!

He'd taken over the entire kingdom in the span of a month or two, "replaced" the entirety of the mage's guild Twiz had been a part of, and is keeping everyone rather complacent with everything through a lot of bread and circuses. And, despite the atrocities, he's still kind to "his" people. They're almost like a buncha cats... Speaking of which!

The bastard has Twiz's cat, too. Granted, any good friend would take care of an assumed dead friend's cat, but STILL. (Probably a testament to the cat's blind faith. They don't care who you are, or what you've done. If you feed them and properly give them affection, they'll love you.) And the cat seems pretty affectionate with him, lounging on his lap.

He's behind the corpse flood. All of the people who'd washed ashore? He ressurrected them. Or... he tried to, at least. He didn't think any of them would survive, but all he really cared about was getting Twiz back. Not to mention, his plan doesn't really need him to pull living people from different time periods... He just has to pull anything from other times! To wear down the integrity of time and space itself. After all, he's to summon a God. A God that he'll use as a weapon. He won't stop at just one country. He needs more. Being the Demon King that he is, he's insatiable, can never do enough...! (Wait, two demon kings...?)

As to how he's able to do this... You already know, don't you, Twiz? You've the same ability, after all... You were there. Surely, you'd heard that same God...? Ah, but that doesn't matter. You'll see it for yourself soon. Perhaps you can use Nihilo, too! Perhaps... Well, regardless of how he's done this, he's done it. (don't look in the basement, twiz)

He's been doing this all for Twiz. Because he """loves""" her. He just wants her to be """happy""" and """safe""" with him. (Fucking BULLSHIT, by the way! Twiz was doing a perfectly fine job staying safe on her own!!! Not to mention she hasn't been able to get in a single sentence during this fucking monologue.)

Oh, but... He feels so awful, for having tried to replace Twiz with this random princess he'd ressurrected... So, to make up for it, he'll kill her. For Twiz~! (Despite her not fucking asking for ANY OF THIS.)

Twiz is screwed. Better think of a plan, and fast...! Anyways I'm holding Part 5 hostage until Tumblr gives me my fucking polls feature. (joking. it'll come out when it's ready. though i really want my polls... tumblr pls.)
