MY ROOM CLEANSING SPRAY RECIPE!

Ingredients

Rain water or moon water

One drop of rosemary essential oil

Two drops of lemon essential oil

One drop of peppermint essential oil

One drop of lavender essential oil

An empty cleansed mistime spray bottle

NOTE: make sure you get a decent sized spray bottle, not a super tiny one because you need enough space for a good amount of water for the oils to evenly disperse in! You don’t want too little water and too much essential oil! If you need to, cut down on the oil drops you’re putting into it if it’s a slightly smaller bottle than the one shown in my picture.

Bedridden Water-Witchcraft Ideas:

1. Meditate with a real shell, just hold it and examine it until you go into a trance if you want! Connect to the water spirits that are still attached to the shell. I like a good scallop shell but any shell will do

2. Drink lots of water. Make sure you have a good supply of water close enough to your bed to where you only have to sit up to drink it (charge it with whatever intent you wish).

3. Do scrying with a sealed clear glass jar of water. It can even have some sand swirling around in it if that helps you scry.

4. Mist yourself with rain water you’ve collected and put into a spray bottle. You can even add a drop of lavender or lemon essential oil to spice it up!

5. Watch videos of different bodies of water on your device. This is super easy to do from bed and it’s ok if you fall asleep!

6. Speaking of falling asleep, you can sleep with a Pearl bracelet or a crystal that corresponds to the water element under your pillow, so even when you snooze you connect to water.

7. Watch documentaries of different aquatic creatures in their natural habitats. (I avoid ocean ones due to my fear of sharks but that’s just a personal preference).

8. Sleep under a blue blanket for color magic!

9. Lucid dream of you can! You can visit a water source that way from your very own bed!

10. Pray to a water god or goddess or spirit of your choosing if that fits your practice.

Crystal Witch Hot Take: Receiving arm? Sending Arm? Nope. I don’t subscribe to that. As a witch, I use whatever arms/wrists/hands I feel like to send energy, and it works just fine, so as long as you intend the crystal bracelet you’re wearing to have a certain effect (sending OR receiving) it will have that effect.

My Top 5 Witch Tips For Beginners:

🌹Admit when you’re wrong! There’s no shame in being wrong and finding out you were doing something that wasn’t working! The shade would be if you kept doing it in a forced state of ignorance/denial! Example: I used to think working with Greek gods was for me, but found out it just wasn’t vibing with my practice (I was 11). Or like, when I thought spells to lose extreme weight were healthy and realistic (ugh… yeah that was 12 year old me).

But no matter what age you are you can and WILL make mistakes (finding out what you were doing is disrespectful to a culture or closed practice, etc). Just admit you’re wrong and change your ways!

🌹 No deity is going to godspouse you as a minor. If you work with deities and you’re a minor and you feel like maybe a deity is wanting to godspouse you, I guarantee, they aren’t. This isn’t an insult to your attractiveness or worthiness it’s just common sense and me trying to eliminate the misunderstanding that the gods are ok with godspousing minors (pedophilia) I’ve seen way WAY too many girls and guys and people in general claiming they’re godspoused to Hades and they’re literally 15. No. Just no. It’s not healthy.

🌹You don’t have to use all the tools you see or read about other witches using! I’d hate to see someone spend a boatload of money on tools they never use. If you can, find a stick on the ground and use it as a wand before you go and spend a lot on a deluxe handcrafted wand. Or try using a glass of water as a chalice to see if you even like using a chalice in your practice! Or don’t do any of this and simply create your own tools that feel right to you! I bought a wand cause I thought it was absolutely necessary and I used it probably three times before realizing I didn’t like using wands. Wish I hadn’t spent that much money on something that isn’t relevant to my practice.

🌹 If you struggle to believe in the magic, that’s ok. First of all, it’s more common than you’d think to doubt magic as a witch. A lot of us are coming from backgrounds and childhoods where we weren’t raised as witches or with a belief in magic. Our parents probably told us such things were silly to believe past a certain age. It takes time to trust in the process of magic so don’t beat yourself up about it.

🌹 You don’t need to be good at everything and it’s definitely not a competition. I’ll be completely honest here. I used to lie that I had all these magical gifts and abilities just to feel relevant when talking to other more experienced witches. Like, I would say I could predict the future with premonitions, and that I was super successful at crystal ball gazing. When really, I have no such skills. I usually fall asleep when crystal ball gazing. And I most definitely don’t get premonitions. But hearing everyone talk about how they see the gods and goddesses and are able to perform great acts of magic with ease made me jealous and insecure. But trust me. Your practice is relevant. Just as valid as experienced practitioners, and don’t let anyone make you feel ashamed if you aren’t an expert in some area of witchcraft. Especially not yourself.

Closeted Witch Tip:

Charge your phone wallpaper by placing your dominant hand over it and focusing on sending protective energy into the wallpaper that you selected. You can even use wallpaper that has specific and special hidden meanings in it that aren’t identifiable as witchy. For instance, it could be a color that corresponds to your intention, or a symbol only you associate with your intention. I’m Irish (so for example I might use celtic knot-work patterned phone wallpaper, and think of it as a mesh or maze of magic to keep evil out of my device). Go wild with it! You could have a picture of a plant that corresponds to your intention as your wallpaper! For protection I like any plant with thistles and thorns, and roses work well for both being protective and inviting loving energy into your device! Have fun :)

Today Is One Of Those Days Where I’m Feeling Extra Fatigued. So Let Me Share The Witchy Ways I’m Coping:

✨Chair in the shower. I need to shower, so having a place to sit while showering is A LIFE SAVER. Otherwise I’ll just feel too intimidated by the idea of standing for a long time. Cause frankly who has energy for that?!

✨Selenite Necklace! This brings me peace and clears my head when it gets foggy and confused by exhaustion. Very comforting crystal, and it’s very restorative.

✨Carrying a small capsule or rollerball of lemon essential oil! Very invigorating to sniff when you need a pick me up!

Nobody asked but I’d like to clarify something (as a witch who heavily uses crystals in her practice). Carnelian is a type of chalcedony. Think of chalcedony as a big family. And carnelian as a smaller family within that family. I’ve heard people saying Carnelian is never a type of agate, but they clearly haven’t looked up the chemical components and crystalline structure of Carnelian. Carnelian is sometimes an agate. We call it “carnelian agate” as it is a chalcedony that is banded and has all the chemical and crystalline structure of carnelian. But carnelian can also just be plain unbanded chalcedony with Hematite inclusions. It just depends on how it presents itself! Both carnelian agate and carnelian are carnelian. Hope this clears things up! For reference, here is a pic of my carnelian agate palmstone:

Ok witches! so I’m about to share some sigils for Archangel Michael I’ve created!

(For me, the creation of sigils is very fun and challenging and it’s like any of my artwork, i want to get it right before i show anyone).

What this shows is a very easy to draw version of his flaming sword. The directions I have each one face is very intentional. Invoking is… well, pointing inward. As one might expect. Evoking is outward to the right. And protection has the point of the blade going to the left.

It’s a good fast sigil to draw, and I typically draw it in black ink for protection, dark blue ink for invoking, and fiery orange ink for evoking!

Recipe For My Favorite Carrier Oil & Essential Oil Blend!

This blend is simple but effective! Here is what you’ll need!

1 Rollerball Vial With Tinted Color Glass (Because we don’t want the oils to go bad!)

3 drops lemon essential oil

Enough Jojoba carrier oil to fill up the vial the rest of the way! I like Jojoba oil cause it matches the cheerful energies of Lemon Essential oil and compliments the scent nicely. However, vegetable carrier oil works too!

Small citrine chips for boosted positivity and awareness! (These are optional).

NOTE: Do not put more drops of lemon into the vial. 3 is a safe amount! Lemon is strong and a little goes a long way when applying it with a carrier oil to your skin. I recommend using the 10 ml. rollerball vial for this recipe. If you use something smaller please put two drops or one drop of lemon instead!
