A short written scene set a few years during Aeolus’s mark of mastery exam. His final trial is engaging Ven’s armor reanimated by his spirit and magic.

Ventus/Darkus Mercury Dragonoid: An evolution caused by an overwhelming blast of Darkus energy. To protect the body from being destroyed, Darkus energy merged with it to create a new, dual typed evolution. While Ventus power is now weakened, the dragonoid has a newfound ability to use Darkus energy.

Drew this for my beloved @moonyeater because I was having brainrot and compared these two losers to Ventus and Vanitas from Kingdom Hearts so I had to recreate the art for their shared heart!! I'm pretty proud of how it came out ♡♡♡
