the grey’s doctors were FREAKS LMFAOO bc there is not space to be doing all that in the on call rooms…. honestly yuuta is probably too busy to even try anything with you in the hospital 90% of the time… he’s either in surgery or buried in the research library or falling asleep standing up 😭 sometimes you two pass each other in an empty stairwell and have time for a kiss or two, but never more than that (also because yuuta has very little self-restraint when it comes to you… if he allowed himself more than that, then it would be much harder to stop…) 

sometimes the two of you will fall asleep in the same on call room. yuuta will page you there and by the time you arrive he’s already half asleep, it’s probably his only nap in the last 24 hours, so you do your best not to wake wake him when you cuddle up next to him. you get a few hours of bliss in his arms before his pager is waking the both of you up, and he’s got to scurry downstairs to the peds floor and in his hurry he doesn’t realize he’s snagged your lab coat instead of his own, and it’s only when he’s haphazardly slipped it on and the arms are too short and the shoulders are too tight that he figures it out. it’s too late by then, because gojo is the attending on this case which means he doesn’t miss anything, which means he’s the first to giggle and tease, poking at your name embroidered above the breast pocket, “oh? i didn’t know the two of you got married already! oh and you took her last name, how noble, yuuta!~”

So in Across The Spider-Verse when Gwen first teleports into Miles's bedroom, this pink garment she wears (that is later revealed to be borrowed from Hobie) is referred to as a sweater.

Now, I thought sweater was the US equivalent to what we call a jumper in the UK which is a closed, thick garment. Meanwhile what Gwen wears is open at the front. It's a cardigan, not a jumper.

I'm afraid I can no longer suspend my disbelief. Worst film ever.

He was odd, a seemingly fearless thing with a penchant for both backstabbing and constantly being afraid of being backstabbed. Still, he makes his way over to the fire and Rhaenyra makes room for him. Astarion was his name, she remembers, lips pressed together as he sits beside her.

“ At least we can see the stars from here. I, for one, thought I might never see them again. ” She misses the view from her home — though, she must admit, the unobstructed view was beautiful. It was the same sky, but it was different. She liked it. “ When you look at the sky from my home, the lights of the city only let you see the brightest of stars. It's strange to think I'd never have seen this if none of this happened. ”

I'm sorry but that dark magic Macaque stepping in when Tang is trying to get his magic under control is so funny actually! Macaque: "The hell are you doing?" Tang: *concentrating* "Seeing if I can make a light and hoping to every god I don't cause a supernova instead." Macaque *seeing Tang is actually dangerously close to causing said supernova*: "-UM! HOW ABOUT YOU DON'T DO THAT?!?" *proceeds to give him some magic lessons and wonder why this human was given so much power and no damn lessons to control it*

Oh gosh, and I have the perfect reasoning why Tang is such an untapped source of destructive light magic XD

Wellengang der Herzen (Beach AU)

Summary:

Adam und Leo wachsen als beste Freunde in Saar Beach auf. Adams Vater will aus seinem Sohn einen Profi Surfer machen. Mit achtzehn hat Adam genug von seinem Vater und es treibt ihn in das internationale Glanzlicht des Profi-Surfens. Leo übernimmt währenddessen in Saar Beach die Werkstatt seines Vaters und verdient sein Geld mit der Reparatur und Instandhaltung von Bootsmotoren und Hochseefisch- & Tauch-Trips für Reiche. Fünfzehn Jahre später zieht es Adam zurück nach Saar Beach, wo er wieder auf seine Jugendliebe Leo trifft.

Leo als vermauerter Fischer/Mechaniker, der sein Herz verschlossen hat und kein Hemd ohne Ölflecken besitzt, und sich durch die reichen Yacht-Besitzer und Feriengäste vögelt, manchmal zum Spaß, manchmal gegen Geld. Der einen Stamm-Yachtinstandhaltungs-Gast hat, den er ganz heiß findet und bei dem er überlegt, ob es nicht mehr werden könnte, bis der ihm offenbart, dass sie sich erst nach dem Wochenende wieder treffen können, weil seine Familie kommt. Er vermisst seine Jugendliebe, aber weiß, er muss allein klar kommen.

Adam als erfolgreicher (pampiger, bad boy) Profi-Surfer, dem das Glanzlicht von Anfang an zu viel war, der den Sport aber als einzigen Ausweg aus seinem Leben in Saar Beach sieht und der denkt, er kann nichts anderes, als Profisportler zu sein. Als sein Manager/Liebhaber ihn gegen ein jüngeres Modell eintauscht, erinnert er sich, dass Geld kein Glück kaufen kann und zieht zurück nach Saar Beach, um zu sehen, ob er nicht vielleicht dort noch mit diesem Jungen, der ihm die ganzen Jahre nie aus dem Kopf gegangen ist, die große Liebe finden kann.

Leo will nicht die zweite Wahl sein und befürchtet, dass Adam zum Profisport zurückkehrt. Er will nicht schon wieder übergangen werden und deshalb nichts von Adam wissen. Adam hat es schwer, Fuß in Saar Beach zu fassen, weil er keinen Job hat und hört die Rufe der Sportwelt. Vielleicht sollte er doch einfach weitersurfen?

Zaghafte Annäherung folgt, inkl. Drama im dritten Akt, happy ending.
