obviously we got wwdits (nz) cameos in the form of the vampiric counsel, but what I really want is the flat taking holiday in staten island. viago 18th century dandy delighted by laszlo’s topiary garden & finding out the bushes are bushes. vladislav keeps trying to sneak up on guillermo and just gets wrecked every time (one time as a half shape-shifted animal). nadja refusing to acknowledge any of visitors “too much fucking testosterone” and locking herself the guide and nadja doll away to watch mamma mia 2. the two groups get in a fight that escalates to a dance off between colin robinson and deacon. stu and sean drink beers in the distance. y’know

no you don’t get it. viago is literally the only character ever. he’s my girlfriend. he’s a dandy. when stu killed that vampire he gleefully yelled “he’s a murderer!!!!” and cheered for him after. he’s count fagula he embroidered flowers into his denim jacket that he wears with his regency shirt he’s the mom friend he went “ooOoh jajaja bat fight!!” when nick and deacon were fighting he giggled the entire time they were chasing nick around. he puts down towels before drinking someone’s blood so he doesn’t make (as much of) a mess. he plays the trumpet he does pottery he and vladislav watch deacon do erotic dances for them. he doesn’t like christians. he has the goofiest most contagious smile ever recorded on camera. what isn’t to love

Ever  wondered  what  they  do  in  the  shadows  when  they’re  not  luring  humans  away ,  biting  into  their  delicious necks ,  draining  them  of  every  drop  of  blood  from  their  bodies  ,  disposing  of  them  ,  and  leading  them  to  an  early  grave ?  Meet  Viago  Von  Dorna  Schmarten  Scheden  Heimburg !  A  very  late  18th  century  dandy .  He  enjoys  hobbies  like  music  ,  sculpture  ,  reading  ,  and  the  occasional night  out  with  friends .  He  considers  himself  a  bit  of  a  dandy  with  a  wildcat  side to  him .  His  friends  consider  him  a  bit  fussy and  a  little  pedantic ,  but  he  simply  likes  things  to  be  just  right .  Overall  ,  Viago  is  just  a  normal  guy  that  lives  in Wellington ,  New  Zealand , who  likes  to  make  sure  people  have  a  good  time  before  he  kills  them ,  and  loves  love !

Viago loves Katherine so much! They’re spending eternity together and when she’s too busy to deal with the dandy-energy, she sends him off to play with his wolf boyfriend. OC gilf vampire so Katherine can live her best undead life with a girlfriend too.

!!! Y e s!!! He waited for her, all those years, letting her live her life, not interfering because he saw how happy she was!! This man was and is smitten for her🥺💕

They do pottery together, Katherine has gotten Viago into her daily soap opera's (and they talk about just how stupid Jeremy is being, trying to find his child, who is secretly not his but his long lost identical twin brother's child- or w/e plot the soap opera has that week) over a nice wine cup of blood♡

And oh my goodness- Katherine with an 'elder appearance' vampire woman, they beat Viago and Anton's butts at scrabble and love being able to get their victims by pretending they need help from them strapping young folks xD♡

Imagine Vlad first trying to change Viago one one of those fold-down changing tables in the bathrooms, not realizing they aren't meant to hold someone of his size.

Oh MY GOD

"Can't we vait until we're home?" Viago ask, his voice lower than usual as the two vampire's stand in the public washroom.

The elder vampire shakes his head, "Let you do that last time and who was the one getting hissed at because supposedly it's my fault you got a rash?" Vlad hums, not even needing to look at the other vampire for an answer.

He did however look around the room. It was like any other public washroom. Tacky and buzzing fixtures, the rancid smell of humans barley covered by the chemical cleaners. Vlad grimaced when he went move his foot and it moved with a small squelch.

It wasn't the cleanest but, it was the only one they could be invited into before a certain dandy was leaking out his slacks. The elder vampire's eyes moved around the room, finally laying on the wall.

"Ah, there, that thing," Vlad points to as the pair walk over to the hunk of plastic sticking out from the wall.

Viago's brow raised, "What is is?"

"Something humans use to change their spawns," Vlad said, running his hands over the object until he was able to open and reveal the changing pad.

He patted the plastic, "Hop on."

"Do I really have to? It looks a little," Viago made a face as he swept a finger over the edge, revealing a small mound of collecting dirt.

"That or I change you in the park," Vlad shrugged, "your choice."

Viago huffed as he nodded, beginning to unbutton his slacks while Vlad pulled out the required items.

The vampire slowly lifted himself onto the table, it was cold even with his layers on and it made such an odd sound-

Next thing the two knew, Viago and the pad where flat on the ground.

"You actually laid on it??"

"What?? Did you want me to float over it?"

"I kind of assumed you would."

Viago rubbed his face, "Bloody hell."

Viago soon felt the firmilar touch of Vlad's hands holding his legs up.

"Don't give me that look, we're here now, you're technically still on a mat,might as well continue," Vlad mused, reaching over for the bag.

"We don't tell Deacon."

"Awe why not? He'd geta kick out of this."

Viago rolled his eyes, "That's exactly why."

ok first off AMAZING question. secondly oh god this is so hard!!! I'm actually going to put this under a readmore because it may spoil Dracula if anyone is doing the dracula daily thing. yknow despite the novel coming out in 1897.

Lucy Westenra (Dracula) - honestly I've wanted to be her since first reading the novel many years ago... her scenes in the book are definitely my favourite part, will never get over her polyam swag

The Girl (A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night) feminism is actually about biting off sex pests' fingers and owning a cool skateboard and a cat :)

@viagothedandy wants to know what flower Lucy associates them with.

Hydrangeas. They are a common funeral flower, and often sent to grieving families as a potted plant rather than a cut stem. This means that the family can plant the flower when they're ready, and the hydrangeas will bloom for years and years (my grandma has had a hydrangea plant that's been blooming for well over 30 years). Being that Viago is undead, not only does a funeral flower make sense for him, the fact that hydrangeas have such long life spans is another factor in Lucy associating him with them.

Additionally, before she found out he was a vampire, she associated him with daffodils because they mean 'rebirth' and she befriended him shortly after moving and being given the chance at her own metaphorical 'rebirth.' There's also just something gentlmanly about them and very fitting of a dandy in her opinion. Coincidentally, despite their cheeriness, they are also a common funeral flower.

Aziraphale - Good Omens. Adorable fussy book-loving angel who strikes up an unlikely friendship and love with a Demon.

Gilderoy Lockhart - Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. Dumb blonde wizard teacher who is too vain to live, lies about everything, wears fancy clothes.

Viago - What we do in the Shadows. Cute dorky vampire dandy what’s not to love, as a bonus he’s played by Taika AKA Blackbeard. :D

Horrible Histories - Educational comedy musical show that features a ton of great foppish characters. Their fantasy show Yonderland has a lot of good fops as well.

Vince Noir - The Mighty Boosh. Noel Fielding as a beautiful ditzy glamrocker with an endless wardrobe. Also features a kiss between the male leads!

Ted and Ralph - The Fast Show. Ralph is a shy foppish aristocrat hopelessly in love with his quiet older groundskeeper. This is old but you can find stuff on youtube.

Bonus: the Pirates of the Caribbean series has a lot of foppish characters, along with having the comedy & pirate themes going on. Another series to look into is Interview with a Vampire or anything by Anne Rice, about foppish vampires, often gay as well. More on the glamrock side is Velvet Goldmine, about the glamrock scene in London.

Watch these shows while eating macarons and cupcakes with a nice cup of tea or a unicorn frappe. Go get your fop on, people <3
