Saw One of These for Masters, Made One for Classic Companions
Good night to unearthly children, science and history teachers, plucky space orphans, crashed spaceship pilots, Dodos, sailors who just want to get back to work, dolly rocker duchesses, Jacobite pipers, Victorian maidens with anxiety, girl geniuses in sparkly outfits, scientists who are too good for this shit, cute blonde girls with hidden spy talents, determined journalists, imbeciles (affectionate), warrior women, gorgeous Time Ladies, boys who can make things out of numbers, space princesses whose planets got nuked, Australian flight attendants, exiled space princes pretending to be schoolboys, American(?) girls who never asked for this, 80s fitness enthusiasts, and girls who invent bombs for fun.

sketches
[id: photo 1: A digital sketch page with Victoria and Romana from Doctor Who and Akane and Power from Chainsaw Man. On the top left are two drawings of Victoria. She is a young woman with dark hair tied into a bun. She is wearing a jacket over a shirt with a frilly collar and sleeves. In the first drawing she looks to her left with a concerned expression. In the second, she is holding her right hand up to her face and has a shocked expression. At the bottom left is a drawing of Akane Sawatari, a girl with short hair wearing a dark hoodie. She is holding out her right hand and is about to summon the Snake Devil. To her right is Power, a girl with long hair, horns, and sharp teeth. She is wearing a white button-up shirt, a tie and dark pants. She is creating an axe from blood in her left hand and looks excited. On the right side of the image is a full-body drawing of Romana II. She has long straight hair. She is wearing a dark jacket and long skirt, with a frilly, lacy shirt. She is looking to her right with a slightly annoyed expression. To her upper left is a smaller, waist-up drawing, showing her in a white shirt and dark hat. photo 2: A digital sketch of Haru from Dorohedoro. She is wearing black pants and a black and grey crop top. She has dark, shoulder length hair. She is drawn in a profile view with her hand on her hip and her head in a three-quarter's view. /end id]

one of the top ten things I miss about classic who that I wanna see more of in new who is companions from different eras and planets. we got susan the time lord, vicki from the 25th century, jamie from 18th century, victoria from the 19th century, leela from an unnamed planet, romana the time lord, adric from alzarius in an alternate universe, nyssa from traken… I could literally do this all day.
the closest we get to that in new who is jack harkness, madame vastra, jenny, strax, and river song, and none of them are full-time regularly-traveling-in-the-tardis companions, with the exception of jack harkness for a bit in season one. the only full time alien companion in new who is nardole (who is incredibly underrated! and still misses out on a few of the adventures during his season).
the doctor is a time traveller who goes everywhere in the universe, let’s spice this up! give me some alien companions or companions from different times in earth’s history! I wanna see it all!
