I adored everything about the Animal Control Season 2 premiere.

The comedy is shaper, the relationships are deeper, and the animal antics keep getting better (The pack wrangling drunk raccoons!).

I need Frank and Victoria to get Green Card-Married

like not just because they're obviously meant for each other and adorable

but I also just want this moment where Victoria's mum comes by the office and Victoria's just like "MUM! What're you doing here?!"

and she's just like "..Well, you told me you got married. And since I obviously missed the wedding, I at least wanted to meet your husband."

And they look over at Frank who just got assaulted by a porcupine and he's freaking out while Shred and Patel are trying to help him get the needles out of his face

Prediction for this season of Animal Control: Shred and Victoria get green card married, which makes Emily and Frank jealous (even though the two aren’t into each other) and all the applying for a green card/proving you’re in love hijinks ensue. All while Frank tries to ignore it by going on app dates and Emily pretends to be all in on Rick.

Animal Control's balance of hilarity and sincerity is SO STRONG.

I really enjoy how "Tortoises and Labradors" uses it to get to the hearts of Frank, Templeton, and Victoria.

It feels like maybe Season 2 could lead us towards a Green Card marriage for Frank & Victoria... but maybe not. So, just in case that never happens, here's a version of the story where it does. No real spoilers but it's based off the show from the start of Season 2! My first Animal Control fic, with no knowledge of how visas work.
