Speaking of Taiko no Tatsujin, I wanted to draw fanart of the twin drums and used an clay style to portray them in similar to the anime. I really like the little series and recommend this game towards anyone who is an fan of rhythm games and sweet characters.

Curse of the Nitghborne.

Guys, I haven't had time to play a lot, but I think the god of this land MAY BE the bad guy, but don't listen to me much.

Get up, folk! Flor did another Curse of Strahdanya crossover after Derek mentioned Lethica fused with Strahdanya as one throw joke in a stream!

The style is indeed inspired by the great art in Hades (the videogame), and the background is by Hades II.

Lethica Nightborne as Strahdanya

----LORE------- In Barovia, a land of the dead, of suffering and grief, a new god has appeared out of nowhere covering the land in an eternal night... Of happiness? Lethica Nightborne, known as the Divine, has presented herself as the saviour that the land needed it, for what seems like decades. Her light, her kindness, her power, has changed the region and the hearts of the people to their core, as the land has been reborn... As there's new blood... But of course, you can't blame the nature of evil, so there's still death, suffering and pain in Barovia, but of course, our saviour, our dear wife, cleans it as she chooses. And if she asks for a sacrifice, of course, we will bring it to her, if she asks for the firstborn of every family, we will name the second after her, and if she asks that we take care of her dinner guests, we shall take care of them. -----DESIGN------- All I knew of Lethica was that I wanted her to wear a veil, and she couldn't only be a countess but a whole god, the saviour of Barovia. The churches don't talk about sun gods, only of her, their lady of dark, their god. Her dress comes from mixing Stradhanya's and hers, ending in a very 19th figure, with a bit of Mesopotamian fashion (the metal belts and sleeves with the double skirt) to show her as a figure of the past, as somehow older than she appears. Of course, she had to have some kind of knife so a knife fan, and a cup to show wealth and power (her cup is always full, full of what? Well, if you look at the very pale man under with not a lot of blood left-)

Marius Renathyr as Victoria Issacs

-----LORE------- Marius as a man of Ilmater seems to be QUITE interested in Barovia, a land of suffering and grief, to the extreme that seems too personal to just be a missionary mission to conquer pain. The university doesn't trust him completely, but somehow, even as a new member of the university and resident of Druskenwald, Marius had found a way to get the vote of everyone involved and the funds for the crusade. But what would be the real reasons for such travel? Or... WHO is the real reason? ------DESIGN ------ Inspired by the old missionary ropes of the 1800s and the typical vampire hunter, Marius stands as a very weird-looking holy man. From Victoria's design, we get the rosary turned into this over-complicated necklace and the ropes around his hips that reference the bloody ropes of Ilmater. (Victoria's, and now Marius, god.) And his sword has turned into a cane. (a cane with a blade.)

Yorgrim as Silas "Shepherd" Morgan

-----LORE-------- From the depths of Yona, a mercenary is invited to participate in an expedition to a land of death and suffering. He accepts stating that he has other business in Barovia and he could be glad to accompany the group under the condition he would work in peace when need it. Of course, he refuses to say the kind of work, you know, "professional privacy policy" and all. But by his reputation... It can't be good... -----DESIGN------- I was going to go with a funeral worker, but the scarf with teeth appeared and it changed the vision. The design takes more inspiration from Shepherd than Yorgrim, with the hunter theme, with the shotgun filled with blue magic and a list of hunts on red clay (that would be broken when the hit is eliminated.)

Briggsy "The Kutlass" Kratch as Professor Clayton Azran

LORE------- Briggsy may take the role of the professor, but he's not the expedition's leader. He's contracted by the University of Druskenwald to keep an eye on Marius (since the university is suspicious of the holy man). He accepts, without even wondering or caring what Barovia is, only happy to finally obtain a title under his piracy by the lords of Druskenwald. (He's getting paid to be a pirate, oh the dream!) DESIGN------ With his design, he was the last one and I was VERY tired, so... It's something weird? You know, a pirate trying to look like a "noble man". (but he's very much failing, he looks like a maniac I think)

Jericho Sticks/Virgil as Sarnax of the Edelwood

----LORE----- The cult of Gherix initially refused the university and the idea of letting them explore the runes in their forest. Until they accept but a month away from the expedition which is extremely suspicious. When the group found themselves in the forest, there he is, Jericho, a sacrificial figure of sticks and straw offered by the cult as a guide. (Of course, the poor, only brought to life months ago, strawman is a sacrifice in the name of Gherix that, by burning in Barovia, will give the god control over the whole region. / Indeed, Virgil is now Gherix we get an asshole god, give it up!) -----DESIGN----- Inspired by Wicker Man (giant figures of sticks and straw with animal sacrifices that are burned during Celtic rituals such as the Beltane.) Jericho is turned into a sacrificial figure who will burn when it's necessary by the light that keeps him alive.

Farryn of the Hartsblight as Kana Soyokaze.

-------LORE------- It isn't clear when or how, but Farryn ends up getting involved with the expedition. As a storm in sea, one day, the swordswoman appears out of the blue stating that she's also trying to find her way into Barovia. The deer refuses to explain her business with the "Divine" of all people, only holding her katana with anger and sadness, but she's clearly not looking to make friends. (She ends up being friends with the whole party.) -------DESIGN----- Based on the Sika deer (a Japanese deer), the design lingers more around the fusion character while keeping Farryn's figure, with the open skirt covered by her leg armour that goes up to her hips and the war paint, fur, and bone that stays in view.

They start simple by staying in all day on weekend to sit and watch cartoons and eat junk and play videogames, it feels so weird at first, but then it feels so… liberating!

A big issue for Keigo is the way he can’t handle messing up, at all, so Dabi takes him to one of those breaking rooms where you just get a sledgehammer and go crazy.

It takes him a while to get going, he gets REALLY into it, and when he’s done he’s a little teary eyed, but he’s laughing, looking so relived and free, and when he turns to look at Touya, soot on his face and debris in his hair, he is just the most beautiful thing Touya has even seen, and that’s the moment Touya’s brain chooses to tell Keigo he loves him for the first time.

One of Touya’s big interests as a kid, before hero training took over everything, was art and crafts.

Keigo knows this of course, and for Touya’s first birthday since they got together, he goes to a craft store and gets just about everything from clay to watercolors toevery single color of glitter glue, and they spend the entire day trying different stuff, not trying to make anything perfect, just focusing on the creating.

While it takes weeks for both of them to get the glitter properly out of their hair, Touya did get to discover his love and talent for watercolor painting, and for Keigo to discover that he is absolutely without talent when it comes to anything artsy, but that’s okay, because Touya is more than talented enough for both of them!

Ultrakill Slice of Life Au Part 1

Yes, really cus I’m bored and I wanna know how V1 could exist in an actual, modern day society that doesn’t involve killing for fuel. Another thing is that the characters are unchanged outside of personality, meaning that V1 is still a robot and Gabriel is still an angel.

-V1 is an adrenaline junkie who enjoys skateboarding, parkouring, and fishing as a hobby. They have a pet cat and they work as a delivery machine, going on foot to deliver mail and feedbacking any dogs that try to bite them.

-V2 works as a barista at a cafe, and enjoys watching anime, playing videogames, and other nerdy activities compared to their much more active and unhinged older sibling. They have a pet Mini Maurice, which they feed jello.

-Ferryman works as a sculptor and potter, making art out of stone, clay and other ceramic materials. They enjoy going to church in their spare time, and also go on fishing trips with V1.

-Gabriel works as a radio broadcaster, broadcasting about how awesome god is. As you’d expect, he is crushing very hard on V1, as well as the Ferryman. He also works out and does fencing as a hobby.

-Minos is a politician, (A one-of-a-kind, honest and genuinely good one!!) who actually wants to help out the world. On his spare time he does martial arts training and takes care of his pet snakes, letting them slither around his arms and shoulders.

-Sisyphus performs thankless work at the office, enjoying himself fully in the most monotonous, soul-crushing tasks imaginable and enduring like he always will. In fact, he is such a hard worker that he is the only office worker in the building he works at. In his spare time, he exercises alongside Minos. He has a pet Regular Maurice.

-Swordsmachine is a garbage-machine who disposes of trash, often taking specific bits and pieces of trash it takes a liking to and then wearing or welding it on themself. The copycats are also garbage machines, inspired by Swordsmachine’s unmatched enthusiasm of picking through trash.

How do you stay as motivated as you usually are? I... I'll be honest and I'm sorry for sounding so personal, but I've been going through some rough times, I can't even pick up a pencil to draw, and I've been feeling so unenergetic... Which sucks, I want to become as great as you, as I really do!!

I'm just very passionate about my characters and work!! It's no exaggeration when I say I am thinking about them every second of every day. I mean it with my whole chest, I am always thinking about them. They make me happy and so I'm always happy when I get to do stuff with them!!

HOWEVER!! That doesn't mean I'm immune to burnout either! I don't know you or what you're going through--maybe it's burnout, maybe it's a depressive episode, maybe it's something else entirely! etc--but when I'm feeling in a rut (which I actually have been this week, I'd say!), there's some things I like to try and do to make myself feel better. I don't know if they'll work for you, but it's worth a shot!

-Take dedicated breaks. Not just like, a 15 minute break. Like a whole day or 2 or even longer break. Of course if you have responsibilities like school and/or work you might not be able to take a break from those, but take a break from your creative endeavors for a bit. Play a videogame, watch a tv show or movie or video you want to/like, go outside if you're able to even if just to sit in the sun or listen to music! (Though it's winter in the nothern hemisphere, so maybe just dance around to music in your kitchen or something haha!) I often find that once I've been able to actually let myself have fun in other ways, I then want to come back to doing all my creative stuff and I feel more energetic about it!

-Be creative in other ways! Try to branch outside your normal mediums. If you draw a lot digitally, make something traditionally! If you usually illustrate, try playing with something like clay or strings or building blocks! Cut apart magazines and try to make collages! Of course, this isn't always accessible to everyone, especially if you need to spend money to buy some of this stuff. But even if it's as simple as filling a notebook page with doodles, it's still worth doing! The MOST important part of this though is to do it for yourself--do not worry about how the end result will come out, do not worry about sharing it to other people. You can later on if you want to, but you need to go into it knowing that your goal is to HAVE FUN! not to make a successful or consumable product.

-Draw what you want to draw. It's not secret that my most popular games are games like INMIMB and Crowscare. I could probably be attracting a lot more attention on that stuff if I drew those characters more. But Mary and Reggie are my favorite subjects to draw, so that's what I draw! And when I do that, it makes art feel like not-a-chore, but something to be enjoyed! When making my games, I have to make a lot of art for them too! Sometimes I can choose between getting a new cutscene image done, or drawing an idea I just really want to draw. And sometimes choosing the latter is rewarding because I had fun drawing it and then I can come back to the cutscene image satisfied! Draw the things you like and it will help remind you why art is so fun! Hope this isn't too long of a read! Keep your head up, champ! Just because you're not where you wanna be now doesn't mean you'll never get there! I believe in you, but most importantly believe in yourself!

Cosplay planning! It took me hours upon hours of drawing to get these done but now I have a full turnaround and accessories detailed drawings for my Baizhu cosplay! I'm really excited to get to work on it soon and give you guys all of the updates along the way :D One more note: I'm going to be slowing down posting a little to 3 posts a week. Monday, Thursday and Saturday will be my days to post. Monday will be an art piece that I have taken time on or a cosplay update, Thursday will be an Etsy shop update or a small art piece l've done or my biweekly comic (more about that soon) and Saturday will be a reel of some sort, could be animation could be cosplay could just be a trending art reel. With this however I'm hoping to start adding to my engagement as I really want art to be my career someday and growing my platform is really important to that. Anyways- just wanted to give you guys that update.
