Since you gave me no indications, I am going with my Warden Tabris! ❤️ What inspired you to make this OC? How long have you had them? How have they changed in the time you’ve been developing them?🧡 What traits of your own do you see in this OC? Are they a little bit self-inserty? Don’t be shy, we all put parts of ourselves into the creations we love!

Okay, right from the start I knew I wanted to play an elf for my first DAO run. I picked city elf and as usual I picked a name as soon as my brain suggested it to me. Later on, I had a good laugh at the fact that while Amelia isn’t really an elfy name, it does somehow rhyme with her mom’s name, so it ended up being perfect. I have hed Amelia since November 2019 and in all this time the only things that have changed are the amount of freckles I draw her with and how much of her story overlaps with that of other characters/beyond what is shown in the games.

💛 What is your personal opinion of this OC? Do you love them or are they your trash child? Are they your baby?

She is a self-insert, yes. Not a copy-paste version of myself, but each one of my OCs get a specific side of my personality and physical features. Amelia gets the short haircut, her built and her stubborness. I also gave her the happiest ending among all of my DA OCs, because that’s what I would want for myself, lol. I adore her to pieces and I think the amount of art I created since 2019 is prrof of it. I always get very emotional whenever people see my art of her and go “oooh, i missed her!”

💚 Are you writing anything with this OC or planning on writing anything for them? Do you rp with them or are they just for fun to mess around with?

I am both preparing new comics and trying to write fanfics with her (although the latter is an attempt that’s going poorly bevause I struggle with words and I write in my second language)! I don’t think I will ever get tired of drawing her. I am coming up with AUs as well, in order to draw more of her story!

💙 How important is this OC to you? Are they a character that’s helped you through some pretty tough times or could you scrap them without feeling a thing?

I don’t think I could scarp any of my OCs without suffering like crazy. My creations are like... pieces of myself in which I pour my time and creativity, imagining their personalities, their interactions, their adventures. Amelia and my rogue Trevelyan in particular are the OCs that have gotten me through some bad times during 2020.

💜 Do you enjoy working on your OC or are they a bit of a chore? We all have that one character who is hard to develop!

I wouldn’t call it a chore, but I do struggle with writing her more than drawing her because I fear I suffer from the writer’s version of “same face syndrome”. As much as some of her personality aligns with my own, she is her own person and because of that it’s tough to write her at times.

💗 Ramble a bit about this character!

I mean... I think I have rambled plenty already, but let’s see... One of the things I love the most about Tabris is that I can’t simply draw a simple illustration and call it a day. No, all of my ideas come in the form of multipage comics. And she usually has this serious-like attitude that makes you think “ah, she is boring”. Then she surprises you with some dry wit cause she’s got jokes (which I have lots of fun writing).

🍅 How easily is your OC embarassed? What subjects make them flush and why? What event has made your OC the most embarassed they’ve ever been?

Not easily. Sexual topics don’t make her blush. The only event I can think of off the top of my head is when during Awakening someone ends up reading her correspondence with Zevran (who’s already gone back to Antiva) and when during Inquisition she travels to Skyhold and finds out that Kadan is actually a term of endearment (she in the same worldstate as my Bullmancer Lavellan) and proceeds to yell affectionately at Sten via letter (I made a comic about this, lol).

💧 What is something from your OC’s past they’re the most ashamed of and why? What is something they’re really proud of? And lastly what is something in their past that could make them shake with dread? She is the Warden-Commander, lol. She has a list of things to be proud of XD And more than shaking with dread... she still shakes with guilt and anger a year after getting conscripted because of what happened at the Alienage. Nelaros, you know?

Emily doesn't really use armour most of the time, but in the event she does prepare ahead of time for particuarly dangerous combat ahead of time, she will use riot armour, no helmet. The survivalists and then the variant found in the divide in particuar.

4) highest skills? secondary skills? lowest skills?

Her highest skills likely are melee, science and speech (see: bullshitting). Lowest likely to be medicine, sneak and lockpick. Emily is smart and strong, but doesn't really have much patience or use much thinking ahead.

6) what are their perks?

Character specific ones include Cherchez La Femme, Super Slam!, Computer Whiz, Jury Rigging, Adamantium Skeleton and Unstoppable Force.

12) how did the bullet affect them?

Emily lost all her memories, only keeping her name because of her holotags.

14) what’s their reputation with the ncr / the legion?

She becomes villified by the Legion when she kills Caesar and causes a mess as she fled with her friends. Legion assassins are a common sight for Emily.

As for the NCR, probably somewhere around Unpredictable. She does help the NCR in some areas, but does favour the Mojave locals over the NCR military whenever theres the option. She does also help the NCR secure the Dam in the end, but also enforces extremely high autonomy for the Mojave region under the NCR by setting up Yes Man with the securitron army, and working together with most of the other factions in the area.

16) what’s their reputation with goodsprings / novac / primm?

Idolized in Goodsprings, and liked in Novac and Primm.

18) what do the people on the strip think of them? the omertas, the white gloves, the chairmen, ncr military police, mr. house? do the gamblers like them?

After Benny is gone, the Chairmen are on good terms with Emily. The White Gloves too, once their menu is fixed.

The Omertas kinda don't exist anymore, at first Emily helped Cachino to take control, but later she found out more about him and they didn't last to see the 2nd BoHD. The Kings now own their casino.

Mr House doesn't like her, mostly cause she killed him.

The gamblers don't much mind her, though the lower NCR presence in the strip is something they like.

Another faction with a large presence in the Strip/Inner Vegas is the Followers, as Emily lets them take pick of an unused building of choice to use, rather than stay only cramped in the old mormon fort.

The closest would be "I'm Not Dead" by P!NK, and partially because she's the voiceclaim I have for Emily

Sierra and cooking!!

So, fun fact. Do you know who doesn’t know how to cook? It’s Sierra. Does that count as one fact? I have no idea, so I’m going to ramble until I’m out of thoughts. 1) Sierra loves gazelle meat (did I mention she has bad taste too?) 2) Gage (very hesitantly, mind) is willing to put up with Sierra’s cooking OR "exotic” meat (like gazelle) but not both at once. 3) This one is less “cooking” and more “food in general” but Sierra decided it was Entirely Appropriate to take Dry Rock Gulch wearing a Sunset Sasparilla shirt. She was shot on sight by one of the “deputy” protectrons. 4) Speaking of “exotic meat”, Sierra definitely knows what the ‘strange meat’ and ‘strange bacon’ is in the Zoo. She lets it slide. (Have I mentioned that Sierra is evil? Because she is.) 5) Red Eye (her Other Boyfriend) is absolutely willing to cook for her at a moment's notice, but mostly because he’s afraid she’ll give herself food poisoning if she does it herself.

Basically, of the Disaster Triad, Red Eye is the responsible one in terms of cooking. Danse, Sierra’s brother in this canon (by way of mind wipe, it’s complicated) handled all of the cooking before they got to Nuka World.

Sidney does. Its quite early on. It just takes a long time for Yasmine to be able to say it back, but she does.

Autumn, synth courier50. What’s their happiest memory?Autumn’s happiest memory is from shortly after she started staying with the Kings, before she took the Mojave Express courier job. The King took her out on to a rooftop and just had her watch the sunset, since he insisted the colors were prettier here than anywhere else in the world. She didn’t really pay attention to the sunset before that day, but she definitely agrees.

Daisy, Followers courier47. What are their vices? Are they an alcoholic, a thief, a hoarder?Daisy is actually really vain. It’s part of the reason she makes the cosmetics she does, so that she can feel pretty. She parts her hair specifically to hide the scar from when Benny shot her, and spends hours in the morning getting ready, especially if she’s on the Strip for any length of time.

Minerva, Legionnaire courier42. Name a random fact about your courier. Oh, man, that’s a tough one. The fact I find most fun about this character was that she was invented specifically to ship with Legate Lanius. Once upon a time, a fellow Fallout fan had decided that Lanius was completely unshippable, to which I replied “watch me,” and Minerva was created that day. 

For a non-meta answer, though, before her tribe was attacked by the NCR, her name was Maritza Rivera, and she took the name Minerva after her and a few other children who survived were taken in by the Legion.
