The gift shop at the Walt Disney World Preview Center, October 1970.
Because of the interest in the massive construction project that was underway in Florida at the time, Disney opened a preview center where guests could learn about Walt Disney World firsthand. Besides the giant displays of models, drawings, and previews of exhibits, there was a short filmed presentation, along with a snack bar and merchandise shop. The Preview Center itself had a higher attendance during the short time it was open (January 1970-September 1971) than many major attractions in Florida.
