Wait something funny just occurred to me. In the AU where the kids get cyber formed but remain on the edge of being adults, someone would have had to give them the Cybertonian version of The Sex Talk.

Would it be Ratchet, giving them the strictly medical side of things, or would it be some bot, talking about the experimental/exploring parts?

(I genuinely believe Ratchet would have an aneurysm of some kind at the prospect of it. But let's pretend)

I have to name this verse properly because Tarn isn't here, but it will eventually lead the D.J.D. to Earth. I'll keep the soulmate au tag until I can figure out something.

Ratchet does have an aneurysm because he has set ideas on what is and isn't 'appropriate' from Functionist-held Golden Age Cybertron, but he also carries a lot of guilt from out-surviving almost all his friends, cohorts, and students...

And it's all being dragged into the mud by the Jasper trio, who gives no quarter on crushing his prejudices and fears. Even Raf, his favorite, casually steamrolls over it with the draconian and American mindset of giving no fucks.

Team Prime had harmless thought exercises of what their charges' Cybertronian frames would be like... and none of them were remotely correct!

Because Miko is a Seeker femme, Raf may or may not be a type of Predacon, and Ratchet can't get proper readings on Jack's base-coding, Ratchet sits them all down because they're not sparklings or mechlings with sealed plates but full-framed mecha with total access. He gives them the reproductive talk, especially since Seekers and beastformers go into reproductive heats, but humans don't have that. He's trying to be mindful, and Ratchet is going through the different sexual methods and the variations of parts. Of course, Raf has to interrupt because the draconian mech has two spikes and no receptacle, and he would like to know about any necessary care.

All in all, it's really Ratchet having another fit because his weird humans are now weird Cybertronians of yore/throwbacks. And the ex-humans are taking it rather well, but Jack, Miko, and Raf had literally lifetimes to explore sexuality: as humans, human-hybirds by exploring their heritage as well as alchemical concoctions and very curious lovers.

This, however, did kickstart the path of Ratchet teaching Miko his medical knowledge as she doesn't want the results. She's burning to have the technical skills and knowledge of the processes. Ratchet does pass on his skills to Raf and Jack, but Raf prefers the science as Jack is more fascinated by procuring research material. Miko literally bullzoned her way to become his student. The howling matches they had shook the foundations of the base, but she got her way because she deliberately aimed at his vulnerable parts. ("You'll leave us one day to go back to Cybertron! And you're refusing to tell me how to properly care for myself!?") Ratchet is highly concerned about how voracious Miko's appetite is for that knowledge.

She yearns to become a Tsunade/Unohana terror among them because they have a strong suspicion that if their status is revealed, then they'll become targets. She'll become a Cybertronian Bloodbourne horror if it means she'll never be trapped like what happened to some of her kin.

Once the secret was out, slowly, Blades got a little more forward about his feelings for her.

Apparently, monsterfucking and kink isn't something that's unique to humans.

And, after Blades had commissioned something special for her from Doc Greene, she could see this little crush of his being fun for a little while. His holoform was fully customizable, after all.

She only needed to threaten him once.

She had to dispose of a news reporter that wasn't as bribeable as Huxley, and Blades good cold feet.

She had to reveal the bomb in his subspace, but luckily by then she and him had a couple of quick fucks under their belt, and Blades had fallen for her hook, line, and sinker.

She would die before admitting it was mutual, at least for now.

She was renewing her EMT certification, at least, the online portion, and she could feel Blades appreciating her loosely tied wrap top behind her while he pretended to clean his winch attachments.

"Dani, have I said how lucky I am that you love me?" Blades said, watching how the ties of her shirt swung around as she typed.

Même au tribunal. Même devant vous.

Ils font ce que font la plupart des hommes accusés : ils se victimisent et rajoutent une couche de mépris sur celle qu’ils ont déjà humiliée. Ils sont tombés dans un traquenard. On les a piégés. Vous êtes restée là, à les écouter sans ciller, droite sur le ring. Vous décrivez désormais votre vie comme un combat de boxe. Le combat est déloyal. La généralisation du tutoiement, la disparition des majuscules et de la ponctuation sont autant de coups mortels portés à la subtilité de l’expression.

Supprimer le mot «mademoiselle» est non seulement renoncer à l’esthétique d’un mot, mais également promouvoir l’idée qu’entre une petite fille et une femme il n’y a rien.

Moins de mots et moins de verbes conjugués c’est moins de capacités à exprimer les émotions et moins de possibilité d’élaborer une pensée.

Des études ont montré qu’une partie de la violence dans la sphère publique et privée provient directement de l’incapacité à mettre des mots sur les émotions.

Sans mot pour construire un raisonnement, la pensée complexe chère à Edgar Morin est entravée, rendue impossible.

Plus le langage est pauvre, moins la pensée existe.

L’histoire est riche d’exemples et les écrits sont nombreux de Georges Orwell dans « 1984 » à Ray Bradbury dans « Fahrenheit 451 » qui ont relaté comment les dictatures de toutes obédiences entravaient la pensée en réduisant et tordant le nombre et le sens des mots.

Il n’y a pas de pensée critique sans pensée. Et il n’y a pas de pensée sans mots.

Comment construire une pensée hypothético-déductive sans maîtrise du conditionnel ? Comment envisager l’avenir sans conjugaison au futur ? Comment appréhender une temporalité, une succession d’éléments dans le temps, qu’ils soient passés ou à venir, ainsi que leur durée relative, sans une langue qui fait la différence entre ce qui aurait pu être, ce qui a été, ce qui est, ce qui pourrait advenir, et ce qui sera après que ce qui pourrait advenir soit advenu ? Si un cri de ralliement devait se faire entendre aujourd’hui, ce serait celui, adressé aux parents et aux enseignants : faites parler, lire et écrire vos enfants, vos élèves, vos étudiants.

Enseignez et pratiquez la langue dans ses formes les plus variées, même si elle semble compliquée, surtout si elle est compliquée. Parce que dans cet effort se trouve la liberté. Ceux qui expliquent à longueur de temps qu’il faut simplifier l’orthographe, purger la langue de ses «défauts», abolir les genres, les temps, les nuances, tout ce qui crée de la complexité sont les fossoyeurs de l’esprit humain. Un livre coup de poing pour continuer à découvrir la littérature féministe. Je ne connais pas Ovidie autrement que par sa réputation sulfureuse d'ancienne star du porno, mais surtout pour ses derniers travaux et engagements féministes. C'est donc avec curiosité que je me suis procurée ce bouquin témoignage d'années d'abstinence et de son analyse de comment en être arrivée là. Et puis il y a ce titre "La chair est triste hélas" tiré d'un poème de Mallarmé dont je me souviens encore des premiers vers. 

Un livre coup de poing, disais-je, puisque la violence du propos est tout d'abord insupportable, jusqu'à la nausée. Et puis le souvenir de mon propre vécu dans mes relations de couple, de ce rapport de force inévitable entre amour et mort.  Violence physique avec les rapports sexuels non consentis / viols ordinaires et objectification du corps féminin, violence psychologique avec les rapports humiliants de soumission / dépendance au regard de l'autre mâle et assujettissement de l'esprit féminin à son désir à lui. 

Un livre coup de coeur, finalement, puisque nous sommes de la même génération et que je partage sa position quant au féminisme dont je ne me revendiquais pas jusqu'à présent, mais qui fait tellement écho à mon ressenti de femme, aux thèmes qui me travaillent depuis toujours : féminité, identité, sexualité, et à la paix que j'ai trouvée depuis que je suis seule et libre, autonome et indépendante. 

Merci à Ovidie et toutes les autrices qui nous accompagnent dans la démarche et sur le chemin, puisque je n'ai pas encore lu tous les livres...

Tchad : violence faites aux femmes, un policier bastonne sa femme à N'Djaména.

Au Tchad, précisément dans le quartier Djinio dans la commune du 7e arrondissement de N’Djaména la capitale.  Dame Allaham Darombaye Gloire est passée à tabac par son mari, agent de force de l’ordre de son état. La scène s’est déroulée dans la nuit du lundi aux environs de 23h. Les raisons de ce châtiment d’un autre âge infligé à cette dame, ne sont pas connues.  Quant aux sanctions probables…
