Punkreas, il 31 marzo esce il nuovo album “Electric Déja-vu”.   Con l’uscita del nuovo album “Electric Déjà-Vu” prevista per venerdì 31 marzo, i PUNKREAS si preparano a dare il via al tour di presentazione in programma ad aprile dove, in occasione delle date all’Alcatraz di Milano e a Largo Venue di Roma, saliranno sul palco due degli artisti che hanno collaborato con la band nel disco. Il primo aprile a Milano è atteso un doppio ospite: saranno presenti, infatti, Raphael, una tra le voci più note del reggae in Italia, featuring nell’album nel brano “Disagio”, e il cantautore Giancane, che ha duettato con i Punkreas nel brano “Dai Dai Dai (Die Die Die)”. Quest’ultimo salirà anche sul palco di Roma, impreziosendo la serata prevista a Largo Venue il 22 aprile. Ad arricchire ulteriormente l’evento milanese, oltre a Cippa, Paletta, Noise, Gagno ed Endriù, sul palco ci saranno anche la chitarra aggiunta di Roberto Rhobbo Bovolenta (tra i produttori del disco) su alcuni brani e la sezione fiati dei Fiatellas con Fabrizio Sferrazza (ex Meganoidi) e Diego Servetto. “Electric Déjà-Vu” sarà disponibile nei formati cd, vinile e su tutti gli store digitali. Dopo aver celebrato i trent’anni di carriera nel 2022 con il tour “XXX e… Qualcosa” che ha registrato numerosi sold out nei principali club della penisola, i Punkreas tornano con un lavoro energico mostrando ancora una volta quell’attitudine e quell’impegno che li ha resi tra i principali esponenti del punk rock e ska punk in Italia. La band ottiene un ottimo riscontro nella scena punk italiana sin dal primo EP autoprodotto “Isterico” (1990) a cui seguono i full-lenght “United rumors of Punkreas” (1992), “Paranoia e potere” (1995) e “Elettrodomestico” (1997). Nel 1998 partecipano al “Teste vuote ossa rotte Festival” e al “Vans Warped Tour 1998” condividendo il palco con Bad Religion, Lagwagon, NOFX e Rancid. La prima metà degli anni 2000 vede un cambio di formazione, con Gagno al posto di Mastino alla batteria, e una serie di lavori in cui il gruppo sperimenta nuovi generi ed influenze, a partire da “Pelle” (2000), passando per “Falso” (2002), dove spicca la collaborazione con il cantante degli Ska-P “El Pulpo” sul singolo “Toda la noche”, fino ad arrivare a “Quello che sei” (2005) e “Futuro imperfetto” (2008). Sempre nell’ottobre del 2005 i Punkreas concedono il brano “WTO” per la compilation “GE 2001” uscito per Manifesto CD, aderendo all’iniziativa per la raccolta fondi a favore della Segreteria Legale del Genoa Legal Forum, impegnata nei processi seguiti ai fatti del G8 di Genova del luglio 2001. Alla fine del 2012 la band pubblica l’ottavo album in studio “Noblesse Oblige”, l’ultimo prima dell’arrivo di Endriu al posto di Flaco alla chitarra, che vede la collaborazione con ‘O Zulù dei 99 Posse e un giovanissimo Fedez e al quale fa seguito nel 2014 “Radio Punkreas”, una serie di cover di hit italiane che vanta numerose collaborazioni tra cui Freak Antoni (Skiantos), Samuel (Subsonica) e Davide Toffolo (Tre allegri ragazzi morti). Tra il 2016 e il 2019 i Punkreas collaborano con alcune etichette indipendenti tra cui Garrincha Dischi per la pubblicazione degli album “Il lato ruvido” (2016) e “Inequilibrio instabile” (2019). Alla fine del 2019, per festeggiare i 30 anni di carriera, la band fa uscire con Universal Music Italia “XXX”, una compilation che raccoglie i singoli di maggior successo con l’aggiunta dell’inedito “Sono vivo”, mixato da Tommaso Colliva. La festa dei 30 anni di carriera si tiene il 25 gennaio 2020 all’Alcatraz di Milano, con un concerto sold out che avrebbe dovuto dare il via al tour celebrativo durante tutto il 2020 ma che viene invece sospeso a causa ridimensionamento delle location per l’emergenza covid-19. La band sceglie allora di portare dal vivo uno spettacolo diverso dal titolo “FUNNY: The Best Story of Punkreas”, uno show musicale che strizza l’occhio al cabaret alternando esilaranti racconti tratti dalla loro carriera con i grandi classici del repertorio rivisti in chiave acustica. Il successo ottenuto dai nuovi arrangiamenti spinge i Punkreas a pubblicare il disco “Funny goes acoustic” (2021), uscito sempre per Universal Music Italia. Nella primavera del 2022, con il graduale allentamento delle limitazioni, la band riparte con il “XXX e… Qualcosa” tour, con una doppia scaletta che include le migliori canzoni pre 2000 e i pezzi del nuovo millennio. Nei mesi estivi il gruppo fa tappa nei festival e nelle location open air per un tour che supera le venti date e che il 21 giugno li porta sul palco del Carroponte Sesto San Giovanni di Milano poco prima dei The Offspring e preceduti da Lagwagon e Anti Flag. Another inspiring and educational road trip. To be honest I'm not into music at all and really rarely understand the music industry today but our visit to Virgin EMI with general manager Robert Pascoe felt like his life lesson could be used in any career path.

I LOVE INSTAGRAM, for me, it's like another Pinterest platform, which I already love, for me its an inspiration catalogue for all different kinds of things. Having that balance between real life and social life is key and really needs to be thought about. As I want to go into marketing I realise that role might involve social media either for clients or the company.

Inspiration from #RobertPascoe to believe in me and put myself and my work out there. My business has made me stronger and more confident in producing for real-life clients. Working at school or uni didn't feel real, but now I'm getting real feedback.
