Okay soooo.... quick update to a post I made like a year ago, but it looks like the deal between Netflix and Dreamworks has expired and their shows are starting to get removed from the service. The latest one being Voltron... which means She-Ra might not be far behind. I didn't THINK this would actually happen, I just assumed that it would just stay... but if Voltron is going, She-Ra is probably going too.

So please, make your backups of the show while you can because there is a real possiblity that our beloved She-Ra might no longer have any legal way of being watched.

Just to be clear, this probably isn't gonna actually happen for like... a year, possibly more. But it's best to be aware in advance for these things. There's no need to panic right at this moment.

Now, correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t the whole point of Netflix originals is to give people an incentive to sub to Netflix to watch a particular show or movie that they can’t watch anywhere else?

What is even the point of labeling something a “Netflix original” if it’s just going to get removed from the service regardless?

Yes, I am aware of the fact that Dreamworks owns the rights to Voltron, but it still doesn’t make any sense to remove the series from Netflix when it has been an “original” for eight years now.

If the Netflix exclusivity deal wasn’t a permanent thing, then they should have been upfront about that.

Anyway, keep buying physical media and keep pirating everything that never got released on DVD/Blu Ray.

hey. I know it’s really sad that voltron is leaving Netflix. I was at a football game when I found out so I have to share something. You guys should absolutely NOT use myflixer.to to find all the way up to the fourth season. You should definitely not screen record it if you have an apple product with Netflix. Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES should you use obs with a laptop. This means that you may get the show for free long after its removal.

Uhhhh I LOVE Lance and Pidge's dynamic, and I LOVE the concept of them being like siblings to each other.

Like Pidge reminds Lance of his niece, while Lance reminds Pidge of her older brother. They both get homesick a lot, and just resort to hanging out with each other bc they make each other feel like they're at home.

Idk I like the idea of them doing stupid sibling stuff. They steal the game console from the other's room, they snatch food that's clearly labeled "Lance" or "Pidge", they have inside jokes no one else gets.
