With less than 24hrs in Jordan, you’d really think I probably couldn’t see much. But trust and believe, where there is a will, there is a way! ☝🏾 With a flight ✈️ at 4:45pm…I had to be real creative. Every time, I asked someone for advice on how best to get an area, most would tell me “Oh it’s just 15 minutes walking.” I have learned that 90% of the time if you are told this, you better double that time - make it 30 minutes. 😂 Plus, I could see the place that I wanted to go to located on top of a hill or mountain of some sort, from the cafe I ate it. With all the winding streets and heat, I know that trek was no 15 minutes on foot. Lol ………………………. So how did I really get around so quickly? Uber ⚡️ProTip : Before traveling to a country, see what taxi-hailing or ride-sharing services exist. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy walking, busing, or even the train, but you’d be surprised how cheap some of the taxi prices are in certain countries. For example, a 15-20 min ride to the main site I wanted to see in Jordan cost me about $2 USD. Einer der Hauptattraktionen war der Timanfaya Nationalpark. Auch eine Idee von César Manrique, welche er auf der Insel verwirklichte. 🌋 Dort treffen verschiedenen Lavaarten♨️ aufeinander. Die Lava erstreckt sich soweit das Auge reichen kann in verschiedenen Farben. Smarakt schwarz, Eisenrot oder die Lava ist mit Flechten Meter weit bedeckt, welches etwas grau schimmert. 🎨 Ebenfalls gibt es für die Touristen dort ein Restaurant, in denen sich die Touristen vor oder nach der Tour durch die vulkanische Landschaft stärken können. An dem Restaurant gibt es vier Experimente, welche alle mit der natürlichen Erdwärme vorgeführt werden. Einmal der Grille, welcher in 10 Minuten euer Fleisch ganz ohne Feuer, Gas oder Elektrizität gegrillt hat NUR durch die Erdwärme. 🥩🍖🍗🌋♨️♨️🌡️🔥 Ebenso befindet sich dort ein Tiefes Erdloch, in dem trockenes Stroh nur durch die Erdwärme anfängt zu brennen. 🔥🌡️ Rotes kleines Lavagestein, aussehend wie kleine rote Kisselsteine! Es benötigt nur 3,4 mit der Schaufel graben & man kann ganz heiße Steine anfassen. 🌋😲 Dann die Wasserfontaine! Ein tiefes Loch in der steinigen Vulkanerde. Dort schüttet man Wasser hinein & paar Minuten später kommt das Wasser wieder hoch hinaus gespritzt.
