I miss being a child, which is odd because I didn’t have a good childhood. Maybe it’s just me reminiscing on the childhood I never got, the childhood I was robbed of. Or you know, maybe I’m just crazy. The world may never know.

A tea room, a corner of tranquility, the bustling after all is fleeting, a place where one can meditate.

In Peace A cemetery always has a quiet feel. The silence is magnified in the prairie winter. #cemeteryphotography #headstones #onthehill #quietplace #haylakes #haylakesalberta #crestofhill (at Hay Lakes, Alberta) https://www.instagram.com/p/CoPrKhKL8qe/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

NATURE AS A FOCUS-Scavenger Hunt
RESHMA BABU FAM 1249-320 Math and Science Early Childhood Education
I notice there are different types of trees with different bark in them. The two trees that I notice have differently shaped leaves, one with long needle-shaped narrow leaves and the other with short and thick sticks-like leaves. I wonder why trees have different leaves. It reminds me of a trip to the forest that I went on with friends back in my country. There is one tree that has lost all of its leaves. Its bark is like a dryland that lost all water from there. It was cracked or damaged and it smelled like something dry. I notice a place which was hexagonal shaped, and quiet. I sat over there and took some time to find myself. Near that area, I notice the footprints of animals. I wonder which animal's footprint is that and how it reached here. It is so tiny footprints and I feel so cute about it. It reminds me of a cute little dog in my uncle's home. I notice some dried crispy leaves, which had 5 lobed with very few large teeth. It is brownish-black coloured and veins are visible. When I noticed the rocks covered with ice, something funny came to mind that rock starts with the first letter of my name and it was so rough. I notice one red and white coloured bird feeder hanging in the tree and some bluish-coloured, small, pungent smelled seeds in that tree. The pinecones that I noticed were so woody and brown-shaped having clusters of scales. I wonder what's inside the pinecone and how many seeds it can produce. The scales of the pinecones remind me of the fish that I used to have as a pet.
Scavenger hunts are fantastic methods to include children in their education. They can gain a greater understanding of colours, letters, numbers, nature, road signs, and many other things. Additionally, they can learn abilities like collaboration, creativity, and problem-solving. It can create curiosity in them. If they are curious, they will come along and actively participate. When playing both outdoors and indoors, children will be more curious about the hunt and start using their thinking skills. This may lead to different strategies to hunt the things. For instance, nature hunting can make them explore the surroundings and environment. This will lead make them more curious and eager to find things by themselves. It can give more exposure to nature and children will learn most of the things from this. Another example is shape hunting, in which children are asked to do shape hunting and they will get an opportunity to learn different shapes. This is the best method for encouraging problem-solving skills.
