Girl yes I will listen to any and all Digimon ideas. Those are some good Digis. What about canon characters?

Crossing my special interests is like mixing chemicals, it compounds the joy I get into something far exceeding what each can individually do. I'm rubbing my little hands together on this side of the screen, hehe.

Luffy's partner would be Dogmon! According to the Digimon Reference Book, it is "A Puppet Digimon that was produced from an American cartoon TV database. Because its body is very soft and strong, and can expand and contract like rubber, it completely absorbs every attack."

I haven't figured out a child/rookie form or a perfect/ultimate form, (Dogmon is adult/champion) but his ultimate/mega form would be Apollomon, the sun god digimon.

Zoro's partner is Yaksamon->Asuramon. Maybe Spadamon as the child/rookie form, but I don't have an ultimate/mega form picked out. None of the ultimate level "demon man" digimon have swords, and those that do don't seem fitting...

However, Diarrbitmon would be a potential choice, because in Ghost Game he shares his Japanese VA with Zoro!

Nami gets Weathermon->Ouranosmon.

Law gets Biomon.

"A famed, phenomenal doctor, it is said that there is no patient that Biomon cannot cure. Even surgery is but child's play to it, thanks to its all-encompassing knowledge of living organisms."

It even has a heart symbol above its head!

Kid gets Hagurumon->Tankmon->MetalTyranomon->RustTyranomon

Killer gets Reppamon->Kyukimon, both kamaitachi digimon.

Kuzan gets either the Hexeblaumon line, or Daipenmon because it seems fitting considering his choice of travel companion.

Sakazuki gets the Volcanicdramon line.

Whitebeard gets AncientVolcamon

Marco gets the obvious Hououmon

Ace gets PetiMeramon->Coronamon->Meramon, of course.

Sabo gets FlaWizarmon

Who should I pick next? There's such a large cast...

Would Nami have Bastemon? Cat lady Digimon for the cat burglar

I could vibe with giving her a cat digimon!!!

The fact Bastemon evolves from Witchmon is a big point to me

Nami having been one of the few people in the series to get called a witch really peaks my interest. That combined with Witchmon having mastering wind and water magic would make them absolutely formidable battle buddies.

But then when you get to the rookie stage and I'm mmmmmildly torn

Based off what Witchmon can evolve from I'm torn between Patamon and an Elecmon(Violet) ((I'm currently leaning towards Patamon btw lol))

Patamon as Namis partner would be EXTREMELY helpful during her cat burglar days, by throwing people off guard at how such a cute sweet holy Digimon could possibly help steal from people. The orange hair/body being a cute visual. It's air shot attack would've been super helpful at getting her smaller stopen boats to escape quickly. Etc etc, they're a cute duo, much like Nami and Zeus (except Patamon would have been willing and glad to do her bidding lol)

Elecmon(violet) as Namis partner is a force to be reckoned with. They're said to be bullies by nature, and while it wouldn't be Outright attacking the rest of the crew, it is absolutely encouraging Namis rage. Being precise and sharp witted, using it's electrical attacks as a conductor/amp to Namis thunderbolt attacks as well

And then the THIRD surprise partner I (half jokingly) had in mind for Funsies would be Weathermon

how do you make a Ropuremon stop stealing things

Uhhhhhhh sorry it took me so long to respond currently dealing with some things! But uhm I asked my Weathermon and he mentioned that it’s part of their nature? Maybe hide things in the home to use as stimulation to keep them from stealing others things? Like make sure you have stuff specifically for them to find and maybe scold them if they try and take from someone else.
