There's only 9 episodes so far but this is already both hilarious and mysterious, so here we go. Mallory is an orphan raised in a church by possibly an ex-soldier who became a priest and nuns. Her unknown uncle has just died and left her everything, including a giant mansion in the middle of nowhere. She's studying to be a zoologist which comes in handy when vampire clans attack. The reason? These different vampires can change into different animals: bats, cats, insects, snakes, among others. There's good and 'doing things for their own good' vampires, some of them may want to kill Mallory, but who can she trust? I don't know yet myself - I don't trust anyone yet 😅 Mallory is innocent and a little naïve but it is still early and she may end up teaching the vampires a thing or two on her way to becoming Queen of the vampires. Hello All!

Just popping up to say hi to all the new followers gained recently and to give an update. Right now, the blog has taken a backseat to life. In all honesty, I don’t have any time for reviewing anything, which is why I’ve been focusing only on queuing so that the blog isn’t completely dead but even that I forget to do sometimes. But I will try to get back into it. Chances are high that there won’t be a Book Review every Friday, a Manga Review every Monday, a Wattpad recommendation every Wednesday (or a Webtoon Review every other time), and I also want to get back to Book Suggestions on Saturdays. For Wattpad (Webtoon) Wednesday I will need your help. Do any of you have any recommendations for me to read in regards to Wattpad or Webtoons on the internet? Batman: Wayne family adventures by CRC Payne and StarBite for #webcomicwedneaday and #webtoonwednesday Official summary: Batman needs a break. But with new vigilante Duke Thomas moving into Wayne Manor and an endless supply of adopted, fostered, and biological superhero children to manage, Bruce Wayne is going to have his hands full. Being a father can't be harder than being Batman, right? ... right 😅 Bruce is lucky to have Alfred, as are we all. This comic is surprisingly true to the slice of life category, and that's one of the best things about it. I expected darkness and putting the goth in Gotham, just like every Batman movie/comic ever to exist recently, but this is about Bruce Wayne being/learning to be a father, about all of his kids and their relationships with others as well as each other, and includes the excellent and sassy Alfred Pennyworth. The artwork is amazing and the storylines for each of the characters are interesting. The family shenanigans put the fun into dysfunctional, but they're all supportive both in and outside of their crime-fighting lifestyles. She's lazy, messy, and clueless when it comes to looking presentable. Her colleague Wan Jo is the polar opposite. He's religious about self-care, and particular about his carefully constructed image. The episodes are set in different times and places: modern, past, high school, and with spirits that control luck and scenarios around the two main characters. How will Gibong be able to find his place in the world with his new limit-breaking abilities? This is yet another one of those "the world has turned into a game/towers have appeared/the world has been overrun by monsters" comics. Giving gets stuck in the training system for its equivalent of 3,000 years which is 10 years in our time. The fact that he is sane and coherent after all that time is comic logic because that small snippet of what he went through - fighting on top of his own dead bodies - would have fucked up most people after 10 years let alone 3,000. One small spoiler: I stopped reading for a good month after his mother was hurt. It looked like she'd been killed and after three thousand bloody years of trying to get back to his family, fighting monsters in the real world the minute he returned, only for his mother to die? I noped out of there and only returned for a coin event that I thought I could flick through quickly. I ended up seeing his mother survived but is in a coma, so I kept reading 🤷 Gibong's more serious nature is offset by Hwi who is similar in power level/ability (but no one knows why or how yet), yet has the same eagerness and loyalty as a dog. He's actually been depicted as a puppy so I'm not kidding on that 😅😂 The villains they fight aren't just monsters in dungeons, as people are just as bad as some of them, and a lot has happened in 10 years. The art is great and very detailed, especially for the monsters. Now, I am Demon King's Wife by _mas demon for #webcomicwednesday and #webtoonwednesday Lily was human, exposing her company for fraud and corruption. When she was killed for it, she woke up in another world as a pixie married to the demon king, Lex. There's a plot about rebels and war, Lily learning to use her powers as a pixie, and one helluva size difference 👀 (the height difference is also vast, and yes, I do mean those as two very different things) 😏😈😇 Honestly, some of the plot is just Lex's ridiculously muscled chest and Lily's ridiculously endowed chest, and that's okay 🤷 Lex is forgiving and patient with Lily's amnesia of their past and still loves her, and Lily can be naïve as anything but she has good intentions and is doing her best in an unfamiliar world with powers she can't yet control.
