monday, 2/1- the moon moves into Libra at 05:26am. the sun will be square mars ( and was today, sunday 1/31), pointing to a frustrating or aggressive feeling day(s). 

tuesday 2/2-  is groundhog day, and imbolc/lughnasadh! the libra moon is trining the mercury retrograde (yay). use this as momentum to get ahead of whatever the retrograde is going to throw at us on wednesday. 

wednesday 2/3- the moon moves into scorpio at 08:15am, squaring the aquarius sun and uranus -lots of tension signifiers there, accompanied by extreme heightened emotions. there will be a perigree at 1:02pm; cross quarter sabbat @08:40am.

thursday 2/4- the sun will be at opposition with mars and taurus; don’t bottle things up and keep your inner thoughts at bay. 

friday 2/5- the moon enters sagittarius at 11:17am, bringing about a bit of optimism. however there is also a venus saturn conjunction in aquarius has us choosing long term plans instead of immediate gratification. 

saturday 2/6- feels like a very fatigued day. the moon joins the south node in sagittarius.  

sunday 2/7- the moon moves into capricorn at 2:52pm, sextile to mars, bringing out both tension and passion.

Plan: What do I need to focus on this week?

Madder: Strength, Coming of Age, the Goddess

The Madder offers the nectar of its blossoms to a passing moth. The setting sun on the horizon signals a day reaching its conclusion. A red ribbon above hangs as a token to the goddess resting in the stones reminding us to let our prayers and wishes be known to the universe. As a focus for this week, this card may indicate that something is reaching a close in your life. Work on renewing your strength for the new challenges ahead. With thin stems easily bent in the breeze, the Madder's strength is in the thick, red roots that allow it to remain firmly grounded. What grounds and sustains you? How can you stay rooted in the midst of changes taking place in your life?

Anticipate: How can I work through challenges that arise?

Burdock: Harvest, Purification, Attachment

With flowers that bloom during the harvest season, the Burdock has many medicinal properties but can pose problems too. Passing animals or humans who brush against it will soon find burs tangled in fur or fabric.
