The day after Christmas - we packed it all up! I had a small cold Christmas Day and woke up not feeling so great on Saturday but pushed thru it to clean up my house. I felt I needed to get ready for the new year with a clean slate. The Meaning of Sascha and Isis signature dance move I don`t know if someone wrote a post about this before because I am probably not the first person who thought about this. Since their dance move has been present during season 7 since the very first clip (Saschas text message) till the very last clip, I started wondering about a deeper meaning. I have two interpretations (maybe both apply at the same time).  1. As the “three wise monkeys” originally reperesent the saying “see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil” it could be symbolizing how it took a long time for Isi to realize how toxic Constantin is and that their friendship is hurting them in the long run. Isi was already talking about how unhappy he is in this friendship in season 6 (to Fatou) but they either did not want to see that they need a cut or didn`t dare to get into an open conflict with Consti because of the consequences it could have in the group dynamic. So Isi keept acting like Constantins behaviour would not bother them.....maybe not wanting to see the truth. The “evil” would be Constantin or at least his negative influence in this theory.  2. Now let`s forget about the “evil” for my second interpretation and let`s just focus on the not seeing, not hearing, not speaking part. I strongly believe that it symbolizes Saschas and Isis relationship and how they did not realize their true feelings for each other for a long time. In my opinion they both subconsciously knew but either surpressed their feelings (fear of beeing rejected) or were unsure if it`s just a little crush or serious. They have been behaving almost like a couple since episode 1, especially in the instagram stories. Even Ava quickly understood how Sascha felt about Isi after she had just met him again after years (remember how she wingwomaned for him at the skatepark and at the dance-rehearsel). Also Kieu My and Lou noticed it and Isi did not look surprised when they mentioned it. I think it took Sascha so long to be honest about his feelings because he felt insecure and was afraid that he would lose Isi as his best friend. Isi on the other hand was still struggeling with finding out who she really is or wants to be. Before they felt clear and confident about their identity, there was no room for a serious love interest. So while it seemed so obvious for us viewers that they should become more than friends, they were both blind to it. I think their dance move symbolizes this in a very good way.  I would even go further and say that Isis Nazar-necklace ties into this symbolism as well. They wear it to the christmas dinner on the first day after they finally understood and revealed their feelings to Sascha. Now Isis eyes were fully opened to what has been right in front of them this whole time.
