She's the Dom, he's the sub. No questions asked

Despite being the dom, Wednesday is the little spoon. She thinks Xavier is a quite comfortable pillow.

She'll let him braid her hair. He loves when she plays with his, though she only does it when it's the two of them alone.

Gomez and Morticia love him. So does Pugsly. Fester thinks he is the shit, and wants him to paint his portrait. Xavier obviously agrees.

Wednesday doesn't really say "I love you" all that often (twice, she's said it twice) but will often write him letters, ending them with, deine liebe (your love) because clearly German is the most romantic language.

Their first date is watching horror movies on her balcony, while Enid is with Ajax for the night. Her pick is The Hills Have Eyes; his is Dirty Dancing.

Xavier is super protective of her. After Thornhill and the Hyde, the arrow to her shoulder, and then the stalker almost killing her; he freaks out anytime she shows the slightest indication of pain, especially if she is bleeding. She acts annoyed, but deep, deep down, it makes her feel something... safe.

Gomez and Morticia insist that Xavier calls them mom and dad. They don't take no for an answer.

Wednesday is surprisingly physically affectionate, in the most subtle of ways. She's always holding his hand or standing directly in front of him, her back pressed against his front, his hand on the small of her back.

He calls her 'love' and 'Wendy'. She thinks pet names are juvenile. But on occasion she'd slip and call him 'mi cuervo' (my raven)

They are both super competitive, but he loves the way she sends him a miniscule smug grin when she wins, so he's loses on purpose.

She is his muse. She is secretly proud of that fact.

Wedding Headcanons:

Pairing: Wednesday Addams x Xavier Thorpe

The wedding took place on a chilly October, in a Gothic cathedral.

Gomez challenged Xavier to a (friendly) fencing duel when he asked for permission to marry Wednesday. Xavier was relieved that he won- he wasn't sure what would happen if he didn't.

Uncle Fester went around shaking everyone’s hands.

Cousin Itt officiated the wedding in his unintelligible language, confusing half of the guests.

Flowers at the reception: black roses, dark red dahlias, and black calla lilies.

Lurch played the organ for the wedding march, followed by "The Addams Family" theme song.

Their wedding vows came from the movie 'Corpse Bride': "With this hand, I will lift your sorrows. Your cup will never empty, for I will be your wine. With this candle, I will light your way in darkness. With this ring, I ask you to be mine."

Xavier had designed their matching wedding bands himself.

They exchanged a blood oath, wearing vials of each other's blood on pendants around their necks.

As a surprise for Wednesday, Xavier arranged for a murder of crows to fly overhead during the ceremony.

The bride and groom both wore black. They looked like they walked out of a gloomy fairytale fantasy. (Or, in Ajax's words, "A couple from a black and white Instagram filter")

Ajax was -of course- best man, and Enid was Wednesday's maid of honour.

Thing was the ring bearer, complete with a tiny bow-tie.

Xavier's six-year-old cousin Lily scattered black rose petals down the aisle as the flower girl.

The couple's first dance was to the song "Bad Romance" by Lady Gaga. Wednesday had secretly been practicing a choreographed routine for weeks, and Xavier was completely surprised when she took his hand and led him onto the dance floor.

Their last song was "To The End" by My Chemical Romance- If you marry me, would you bury me? Would you carry me to the end?

The Addams family performed a choreographed dance to "Thriller", led by Uncle Fester.

The wedding cake was a three-tier cake with black and white icing, each tier consisting of their favorite flavors: dark chocolate, red velvet, and coffee.

Yoko served as the bartender, mixing her famous mojitos.

Wednesday wanted to stick a wasp's nest in the bouquet of flowers before she threw it. Xavier talked her out of it.

In the end, they compromised by placing a live tarantula, much to Bianca's horror and dismay.

Gomez and Morticia presented the newlyweds with a mansion along with an antique guillotine, which was a treasured family heirloom.

Vincent Thorpe actually made it to the wedding. His gift was a private island on the Aegean Sea.

The couple left the reception in a vintage hearse decorated with black and red ribbons, driven by Lurch.

Pugsley provided fireworks for the couple's grand exit.

Their first honeymoon destination was Paris, France: The Louvre Museum, Paris Catacombs, and the Père Lachaise cemetery.

Xavier’s love languages are physical touch and words of affirmation

Wednesday’s love languages are acts of service and quality time

their common love language is gift giving

Wednesday hates hugs and cuddling but allows it because she likes seeing Xavier happy.

Wednesday writes poems for Xavier.

Wednesday wanted to keep their relationship a secret but decided against it when girls kept flirting with Xavier because they didn’t know he had a gf; Wednesday gets jealous really easy.

Wednesday is a sucker for Xavier’s puppy dog eyes.

They are both insomniacs, and often spend nights where they can’t sleep in Xavier’s shed; painting and writing, talking, playing chess, whatever.

They enjoy having deep philosophical discussions.

Xavier gives really good shoulder massages to Wednesday when she is tense and/or stressed.

Wednesday doesn’t do petnames but she and Xavier call each other “Xav” and “Wends” neither of them lets anyone else call them that, ever.

They always trade with their friends on outreach day so that they end up together.

Wednesday makes Xavier spend parents weekend with her so he isn’t alone and she doesn’t have to be alone with her family.

Somebody else said this first I forgot their @ - Wednesday only refers to Xavier as her significant other or partner, she never uses the term boyfriend.

Xavier Thorpe-centric headcanons (featuring Wenvier)

Because I ship them and I stand with Percy Hynes White. I will probably post more of these later. Team Xavier to the end of times.

‌Xavier’s middle name is David.

‌He was born on August 28th. It’s the only summer day Wednesday tolerates.

He lives in New York.

‌He has a difficult relationship with his father, that we know of. He always hopes it gets better and for his dad to reach out and not prioritize his work for once. He always ends up disappointed. Wednesday hates Vincent Thorpe’s guts.

His mother passed away when he was eleven. He rarely talks about it but he loved his mother deeply and she was amazing. She was an artist like him.

‌Xavier has a green eyed black cat named Shado. It was his mom's and he kept it despite his father's attempts to get rid of it. He is quite the old jaded cat and usually hisses at everyone who isn't Xavier. That's until he meets Wednesday: he's basically all over her purring when she's at Xavier's. She'd like to chase him away when he's too clingy sometimes and she's trying to read but she can't resist those green eyes. And we all know how much Wednesday must love green eyes.

‌Obviously, Xavier loves Arctic Monkeys and Chase Atlantic. His favourite song is Do Me a Favour by Arctic Monkeys.

‌He's very good with kids. Which Wednesday once thought could be handy in the future. The minute she realized what she was thinking, she wanted to hit her head against the wall for becoming like her mother.

(TW: eating disorder/body image) ‌Xavier struggles with eating sometimes because he used to be overweight. He didn’t start running out of pleasure: his father forced him to lose the weight because "having a fat son wouldn't be good for his image". Again, Wednesday's still waiting for Xavier's permission to curse his father.

‌Xavier is a huge fan of The Hunger Games series, he read the books and watched the movies at least ten times. It's partly why he chose to practice archery. Definitely has a celebrity crush on Jennifer Lawrence. He made Wednesday watch all the movies with him and she actually didn't hate them.

His second obsession is Star Wars. His ringtone is Cantina Band. Wednesday hates Star Wars.

‌Xavier is this annoying person who has multiple hidden talents. Obviously, he's a very good painter, but he's also a great piano player (his mom taught him), he's an okay dancer, and he's not that bad at singing even though he mainly does in the shower. But since he's modest or thinks it's not that great, people usually randomly find out about it. Ajax always acts falsely jealous like "Dude you can do literally everything, I hate you", but he's also the first one to exclaim "oh you need someone who can do that? Xavier's like so good, you should ask him!"

Wednesday was impressed (although she was careful not to show it at first) when she found out he could play the piano and they've definitely both played piano and cello together.

Speaking of Ajax, him and Xavier are basically brothers and we all know it. They met when they arrived at Nevermore the same year when they were twelve and they've been inseparable ever since.

I have a very clear vision of Xavier barging in Ajax's room after he and Wednesday get together like "it's official, bitch!" and they're both gloating like two tall idiots, so proud that they're dating the two hot best friends from Ophelia Hall

She is the Possessive one in the relationship

She likes to watch him draw

She loves playing with his hair. But she does it rarely.

They usually have their dates in his shed, walk in a graveyard or picnic in forest.

Their first kiss was in his shed.

She's his muse(obv)

After they get married they have the drawing of Wednesday playing her cello(the one Xavier did in 4th ep) on their wall.

Her parents adore him. Pugsley abandoned Vincent and is now admiring him for his work.

He likes to braid her hair in the mornings. She let's him.

At one point he drew Nero and brought it to life for her.(I'm pretty sure)

Wednesday never mentions him as her boyfriend. It's always either, "My partner" or "My beloved"

Stepping away from PHW for a second, I love your Wenvier fic!! I noticed you named Xavier’s dorm Macbeth, and I had a throwaway thought to ask you if you’d thought of what the other two dorms besides Ophelia Hall and that one are named?

Ooooh I’m so glad you liked it! I’m really enjoying writing it!

I actually named all the dorms, so here you go, along with my headcanon on why.

The Siren’s dorms (at least I hc it’s a Siren dorm, from the girls in the Poe Cup) is called Charybdis after the Greek Mythology shown in the Odyssey, who lived on one side of a narrow channel and was a danger to boats passing by. I feel like the Sirens would enjoy living in a dorm named after a daughter of Poseidon who made even the bravest warrior live in fear.

The other boy’s dorm is named Asmodea, after the fresco paintings made by Goya during 1820-1823 in Madrid, that are a part of his black paintings, an exponent of the Dark Romanticism art movement, that Poe is also a member in literature.

As we all know, Wednesday’s favorite color is black. Her second favorite is reserved for a very specific shade of green, one that is exclusively found in the eyes of a certain Xavier Thorpe.

Thing is their number one shipper, and often delivers their notes for each other.

Xavier buys her books, slips a love letter inside, and act like nothing of the sort ever happened.

Wednesday made an intricate dreamcatcher for Xavier to ward off his nightmares.

It was adorned with black beads and raven feathers. In the center of the webbing was a tiny spider charm.

Xavier hangs it above his bed.

Date locations include bookstores, art museums, cemeteries, and antique stores.

Wednesday fusses over Xavier when he gets sick, even when it’s a common cold.

They often exchange morbid facts to each other. Enid always cover her ears and sing loudly when they do so.

“The brain can produce thoughts for 15-20 seconds after the head has been decapitated.”

“Wow, seriously? That’s so cool. Do you know that some tumors can grow teeth and hair?”

Xavier is covered in hickeys. All the time. He flaunts them proudly and Wednesday will smirk at her handiwork.

Wednesday performs romantic pieces of music on her cello, exclusively for Xavier.

His favorite one by far is “Après un rêve” by Gabriel Fauré: A romantic and mournful piece that tells a story of longing and yearning for a loved one.

They have study dates in the library where Wednesday would tutor Xavier, but he sometimes gets distracted by how gorgeous his girlfriend is. Until she’s snapping in his face.

“Xavier. Are you even listening?”

“Sorry, I was distracted by your lips, but I'm all ears now. What were you saying?”

Even Wednesday Addams couldn’t stay mad at him after that. (on the inside)

Given Wednesday's reserved nature, they won’t engage in overt displays of affection in public. However, they do have subtle gestures of affection.

Staring into each other’s eyes for way too long.

Whispering snarky remarks or sharing private jokes into each other’s ears.

Linking pinky fingers is the closest thing Wednesday allows to handholding.

Wednesday secretly enjoys the way Xavier places his hand on the small of her back when they’re walking together.

Xavier found a stray black kitten on the street and begged Wednesday to let him keep it. She went on a lecture about “natural selection” and “survival of the fittest” but she eventually caved in. They named it Nyx.

Xavier gives Wednesday one thorny rose, painted black, every single day. It’s their thing.

Wednesday writes cryptic passages of love on the steam of the bathroom mirror, seconds before Xavier steps out of the shower.

In Wednesday’s novel, the love interest of Viper De La Muerte is a brilliant sculptor named Draven Bloodthorne. This ‘tortured artist’ bears a striking resemblance to a certain someone, though the author claims it to be “purely coincidental”.

They watch serial killer documentaries together in bed.

Midnight walks through cemeteries, watching the stars and listening to the silence.

Wednesday embroiders tiny ravens, roses, and skulls on the collar and sleeves of Xavier’s denim jacket.

Their first date took place in a cemetery.

Wednesday allows him paint her nails and braid her hair.

Dabbles in poetry, they’re pretty damn good but he’s too embarrassed to show anyone. (Bonus: Wednesday finds the notebook one day and demanded to know the author because she was THAT impressed.)

Loves the rain and thunderstorms.

Favorite book is The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde.

Very good at chess. Occasionally loses on purpose just to see the smug smile on Wednesday’s face when she wins.

Listens to The Arctic Monkeys, The Neighborhood, Cigarettes after Sex, Chase Atlantic, and Lana Del Rey.

Has a Spotify playlist for every occasion.

Has the habit of doodling on himself when he’s bored— his arm, wrist, and fingers are usually covered with sharpie tattoos.

Speaks impeccable French. (His mother was French). Currently learning German to flirt with Wednesday.

His mother died when he was young.

He inherited his looks from his father, but he has his mothers green eyes. (The reason why Vincent Thorpe couldn’t stand seeing his own son—it was a painful reminder of his beloved wife's absence.)

Takes hot showers.

Addicted to the scents of pencils, paints and paper.

Plays Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order on his PS5.

Was sorted into Slytherin when he took the Pottermore Quiz. ( Initially disappointed because he saw himself as a Gryffindor, but when he found out Wednesday was also in Slytherin, that was a total game-changer.)

Cat person.

Hoodies, denim jackets, Converse, paint-splattered tees and baggy sweaters. (Wednesday steals them but he’s not complaining)
