I saw a post where people were talking about how we need to stop romanticizing and stigmatizing the disabilities and mental illnesses that we give our characters and characters in the creepypasta fandom, AND I 100% AGREE. Throughout my entire semi adult life I've been researching and doing constant readings on these mental illnesses and disabilities, as well as the ones I already have and seeing half these people romanticize or make it seem like these people are Killers just to be Killers is disgusting. Such as autism, bpd, schizophrenia, d i d. We really need to stop acting like people with these disabilities are evil monsters.

I'm going to use my Jeff as an example:

My Jeff has BPD and he acknowledges that when he does something wrong he apologizes and tries whatever he can to make up for it, as we know people with BPD cannot control their emotions constantly and sometimes go into splits. Instead of constantly making these splits anger-induced, why don't we start showing the splits where they have high euphoric episodes? Where the character with BPD gets so happy they feel like they're on top of the world? Jeff is a genuine good guy, and yes he might have urges (like killing, in my au they kill bad people such p*edos etc) but at least he has people he can go to to talk about them. The creepypasta fanbase is full of people who like to say that these killers are nothing but horrible, terrible people. I even seen others talk about how Jeff rapes people like?? Do you really think he'd do that, do you really think people with BPD or schizophrenia will rape people just because they don't have a good mental state?? I would never head canon a character who I love raping another one just because they "aren't mentally right" cuz in my opinion that just feels like another stigma against us, against people like us. If you have the intentions of raping someone you are a bad person (imo it's unforgivable). This isn't bashing at anyone by the way, you do you I just won't interact with you to be honest.

But I won't go into a whole rant about that specifically, I just wanted to put my own word in and put my own spin on things about how we shouldn't romanticize nor how we should glorify these disabilities and mental illnesses, do right by interpreting them in a positive way. Yes there are dark sides to these mental illnesses and disabilities that we should not shun, we should talk about the bad side just as much as the good. But for the love of God don't romanticize it

then jays says he was able to do all of this bc he stole some dudes wallet bc he doesn't have a job when in the manor and tim just stares at him like

"...Jay, I have money" "it's my date to you" "but-" "SHHH, just enjoy what I did for you.."

A reminder

If you have made mistakes in the past and have not acknowledged and tried to change them, maybe you are a bad person.

Everyone makes mistakes, some people make bad mistakes.. but we can always learn and change and grow. If you do not put in the effort, and you do not feel remorse or guilt for what you have done, then you are at fault.

I always believe that you should listen to two sides of a story, that you should understand both sides and see where they are coming from. Sometimes it's just a big misunderstanding or opinions go haywire. But that doesn't mean you shouldn't apologize, make up, and go your separate ways if that needs to be.

Just a reminder that you can change, and you can get better. Because we are all humans and humans are not perfect.

If others refuse to listen to your side of the story they are not worth it, find people who will listen and understand you.

random headcanons

someone I was talking to said this

if we're talking about general did, it wouldn't make sense for Tim and Brian to have it. but since the operator is a malevolent being that has serious powers and manipulative tendencies we can induce that masky and maybe hoodie are not even Brian and Tim themselves.

this is suspected because Tim literally does not remember any memories from being masky. But we know he knows about masky when he hides that tape and the mask from jay, that's because he knows masky will ruin everything if Jay knows who masky came from. Tim wants to protect Jay, and masky does too. the two are just diffrent in that masky is an aggressive being and can be violent when needed, he's not a bad guy. [Jay doesn't remember half of the recording of marble hornets probably bc he just has memory issues made worse by the operator, because we know Tim remembers things about marble hornets that jay didnt]

hoodie is debatable to most, but let me say this. hoodie runs away from people, not wanting to be known as being in Brian's body, while Brian is the one who smiled at Alex, being smug. he was the one to held a gun to Alex. hoodie isn't a violent creature unless his identity is in jeopardy. how he tries to avert tims grasp by swinging a pipe at him, but then runs away when he isn't in danger anymore? from Brian's personality we can assume he would be more determined to stop someone. if Brian were to see Tim he wouldn't wanna hurt him, while hoodie purposefully takes his pills to get masky to come out and be his wing man.

brian obviously really cares about Tim, so why all of a sudden would he wanna hurt him? hoodie thinks Tim is lying, when really the operator has been setting all this up, and he was clearly after Tim and Alex.

if hoodie dislikes Tim, why have Tim accompany him? he doesn't, it's masky. I'd like to say masky is the voices and all the pent up rage and fear that Tim has felt all his life, and the operator made that into an entity. after Tim met up with Jay, Tim was seen as a target once more, and so masky developed.

basically what I'm saying is what the person said. operator-induced did. while masky and hoodie are the ones we know, there could be more underneath that. two or more personalities that splinter off of masky and hoodie and are basically apart of them and make them more developed as entities.

it makes sense to me at least. I know the characters do not have did, please don't spread that misinformation. this is JUST a headcannon to help me wrap my head around masky and hoodie as characters and this is the thing that helps me with that

we all love fandoms yeah? and we give headcanons and give characters stories if they don't have any?

well if we work on our own lil worlds, we should expect the same kind of stuff.

i actually think this is a good thing!

my world, the fight for hell, I hope to be a big thing one day. and I know for sure people will attach to my characters and will give headcanons. and I encourage it! as long as you don't take away their sexualities or what they want to go by. and if it ever does sky rocket, people will make story lines and draw stuff and all that. I would be a hypocrite if I said you couldn't give my characters headcanons or even make OCS to ship with my characters bc I do all of these things to others characters if they're popular in media, because that's what fandom is!

take into consideration this bc some people don't want this while still wanting to make a series out of their characters. ofc you can set boundaries but sadly they will be ignored even if you tell them not to do a certain thing. basically making this post as a kind warning, and to not be a hypocrite.

BUT PLEASE DO SET BOUNDARIEs!!

at least if you set your boundaries publicly fans who respect you will spread the word! and maybe the effect of bad people will dampen!

but I feel creators should let you have fun if they fully intend on making a series, which means it's accessible to the public. like ships and leaving certain characters up for free background story![like how I did with Brian marble hornets] as long as you're not weird or gross or mean about anything it should be fine.

I realized something

idk if y'all can tell but I have small details to the characters I draw, and what their certain colors are.

im gonna use my MH art as an example

the colors I put the boys under:

jays color is blue

tims color is red

brians color is yellow

alexs color is a dark blue or purple[idk why]

i did this subconsciously but I stuck with it bc I quickly realized the colors fit? like do yall see it??

that and my OCS always have purple, blue, pink, or yellow in their pallet no matter WHAT man. those must be my favorite colors

i know barley anyone cares ABT it but this is tumbler dammit, I'll post what I want
