//EXP 1182, he’s similar to EXP 1160 (Dogday) but only by looks, and just like EXP 1197 he isn’t human.//
//EXP 1197 grew attached to EXP 1182, they knew each other before death. Which is why they get so along with each other, though EXP 1197 can become quite violent when 1182 is removed from his quarters.//
EXP 1182 isn’t aggressive, in fact he’s loyal and playful but when hungry, he becomes aggressive and hostile.
NOT CANON!

3 of them!
The third and final part of turning me and my siblings into demon slayers: my brother! He’s the only one out of the three of us that exercises regularly and actually does martial arts so he gets to be the strongest :P he’s also the tallest, like 10 whole inches taller than both me and my sister but he’s actually the middle child! And he’s only a year and a half older than me :)
For his weapon I wanted something similar to a staff but also containing a blade, because he showed me some staff forms one time for his martial arts club and it was really cool :0 so I’m not sure how viable the twin-blade staff would actually be in battle or how it would be made (but if the sword smith village can make kanroji a whole whip out of a metal blade then I think they can definitely make a scabbard out of metal). The way it works is that when sheathed, the blade is a full staff, and either side individually can unsheathe to make a spear. It can also separate down the middle to become two swords, which is much more effective for traditional breathing styles. Shougen is the only one strong enough out of the siblings to fight effectively without the assistance of wisteria poison.

Being multilingual is constantly being confronted with the fact that you don’t know a basic word in one of the languages you speak.
Yesterday, while returning from the store, I realized I couldn’t remember the English word for the object I had just bought. This object may have been one of the first English words I learned in school and yet I couldn’t remember it no matter how hard I tried. The best I came up with was ‘tubular adhesive’. I had bought a glue stick.

moi à la caissière en train de s’acharner sur la caisse automatique qui refuse de prendre mon paiement : « je crois qu’elle est en train de rendre l’âme »
la caissière, en soupirant : « elle est pas la seule… »

I’m trying to find a way to parse this but like:
Make up culture is bad because of how capitalism has twisted appearance to be a basis of worth and social value. However, humans have been putting stuff on their skin since our ancestors started losing hair (maybe even before?) and ornamentation does have significant historic cultural value outside of modern late-capitalism induced self loathing.
Like. Make-up is not a thing in my immediate family. My mother and older sister? Nothing. My little sister is going to be so lucky to grow up in a space where she won’t have any expectation or support for make-up culture. I know make-up culture a shitty phenomenon; I know it steals time and money and self-worth from people at its worst and at its best feeds back into an appearance based cultural hierarchy.
But. But. There is such a rich and vibrant history to cosmetics outside of what is sold to reinforce that inevitably toxic culture. So many forms of art in face paint and more permanent and interesting body modification! There’s history and traceable evolving styles and intentions! And it fucking sucks that it’s been so corrupted to the point of no longer reflecting it’s original intent of being creative and unique and interesting!
Sometimes it just sounds like ‘don’t have tattoos don’t you know those annoying punks and degenerates have those?’ has just been repackaged as ‘don’t wear make-up don’t you know those annoying preps and conformists do that?’ Like I get what you’re trying to say but there is nuance to these conversations and willfully ignoring that nuance makes you sound ridiculous at best and outright hostile to any deviation from your standards at worst.

watching the latest jjk ep right now and this entire time I was wondering what how they’d animate the activation for Sukuna’s hidden fire power and the answer was that they literally put a box in the subtitles. honestly love it

to those who don’t speak english as their first language: do you guys also sometimes feel like your english has gotten worse and it kind of makes you feel insecure to speak to your native english speaking friends? cause i have sometimes difficulty articulating myself correctly in english and it makes me nervous when i talk any other language beside my mother language
is this silly? idk, i guess it’s another thing to add on my list of things i’m insecure about 🥲

Can’t tell if it’s the Autism or if my coworker is just a Bitch.
Edit: TO BE CLEAR. *I* have autism. My coworker is a known bitch.
I say that I’d love to study middle eastern languages to learn what grammar does and doesn’t correlate to English, because I had just gotten off the phone with a man with a strong accent that talked in circles, compared to a different person who I know speaks Farsi, but is extremely direct and Google translate hacks off certain tenses when I translate something for him.
And my coworker starts??? Arguing??? With me??? Like why?? About what??? Like I’m over here in fascination pondering the grammar of different languages and she’s biting my head off with points that I’m?? Not making??? Like homebitch is also American. I don’t understand what she’s so fucking defensive about??
Like I KNOW she’s a bitch, that’s a known fact, but I have no idea what caused this particular argument.
