ngl if there’s one kind of native english speaker that annoys me more than others it’s the ones who look like you’ve asked them to eat a dead slug when you recommend songs with non-english lyrics in. like anyone who isn’t in the anglosphere grew up listening to songs that aren’t in their native language, because english songs are inescapable. as a child you had no idea what the lyrics meant but maybe you still liked the song. so why do these people automatically reject songs that aren’t english?

Tells that Hera is Kronos’s eldest child rather than Hestia, which doesn’t really interest in me in itself but the wording is interesting, that Hera was the first to call Kronos her father, it goes nicely with my “Hera is the only child Kronos raised” headcanon.

Also the point about him being “exiles from heaven” and landing on what will be called Rome is interesting but I’m too lazy to look that up rn

Asterin does end up with her hunter, and she has two daughters although her eldest daughter is actively trying to get rid of her baby sister. At one point, she made peace with it “if Luna survives early childhood then she’s meant to live in this world” because at one point the one year old would run and hide as soon as she spots her big sister and that’s survival instinct

Vesta didn’t really plan on much she was okay with only one kid but she ended up with a boy/girl twins and she’s content with them

Manon was still very on the fence and was toying with the idea of having only one child because she’s been thinking!!!! But Asterin gave her the grim reminder “they can be twins, or triplets or—“

“I’m just stating the facts!” Because Manon, smart as she is, will overlook this detail in her overthinking and stressing. But as Sorrel said, she wasn’t helping by stating that fact.

It took Manon a while, and when she decided to have a child, she prayed to every existing diety that she only ends up conceiving one child and not multiples.

Because at one point, Manon realized that she’s happy with Dorian. Their family is perfect and she never felt more content and happy. She sat with herself for a long time, and realized that she will not let her grandmother dictate her life any longer. Her fear of becoming a mother is yet another leash around her neck. She knows that with Dorian everything will be okay. She will be okay. Their future child will be okay.

4 - Is there a specific episode that was especially fun to work on? From the first season, I think the bonus episode Bucket List was so much fun!! I loved hearing Ruby, Kamen and Chris acting together in a scene and making the sound design make sense was also a good challenge! Episode 20 of season 2 is just ... I have to work on it in small doses because it makes me giggle so much. We've used some of the amazing submissions we got and I'm so excited to put it all together properly! 6 - You have to turn your podcast into a different type of media: what do you go for? I've never thought about this before! I wonder if vesta could work well as a kind of video game where you play as the doctor and have to diagnose cute little aliens while navigating the demands of your meanie boss Dr Adra and gaining points by helping Dr Solari in the lab. Sec could be the little narrator nudging you towards the right answers. .... Now I've imagined it, I really want it. 🥹

16 - Briefly outline your process for making a season happen. I usually start by thinking about the themes and major plot points I want to happen in the season and pull together little notes I've made over time about fun patient/plot ideas. I'm very much a planner so plan nearly every episode before writing. The editing process is . . . non-existent, so then we record, dialogue edit, sound design and add music. The draft then sits there until it's been heard by the rest of the gang and until it's time to be heard by everyone else!!

The best part is always hearing other people record their lines and sound designing. The worst part is recording my lines and the dialogue edit!

→ Born to Larys Strong and Edith Hightower, Eda did what no other child of Edith’s had done before- she lived.
