THE CILANTRO AND ARUGULA WERE WHORES #whores I did NOT sign up for #I wanted the basil myself so dealing with that is annoying but whatever #but the worst part is that my mom didn’t even eat the plants she had me grow!!!#she ate ones I decided to grow because the family likes strawberries and raspberries #I need to get mint again #and sage #but ANYWAY #I did know that all of these plants were whores #i just wasn’t there when they first started sprouting #I’m going to be going home more often this month and my mom wants the yard looking good for my brothers graduation party #so today was my first garden day of the year #it was nice but my back hates me and I really should have worn gloves (I didn’t know where my mom put mine)#but I hope the plants do well while I’m gone #the basil should be fine. So I just discovered Quaquaval’s Dream World artwork and it is absolutely fabulous! More fabulous than it normally looks, and it’s extremely fabulous anyway. This artwork almost makes me wish I chose Quaxly but I prefer Meowscarada so I guess I’ll just have to leave the fabulous gay duck in Nemona’s care. Also that means I only have to see Skeledirge in one battle because if I chose Quaquaval Nemona would’ve chosen the ugly croc. On the plus side, you know how much I love F-Zero? Well I may or may not have decided that Falcon’s starter would be the Quaxly line

#I just had to bring F-Zero into this didn’t I?#quaquaval #i swear any complement I can use towards Meowscarada I can also use towards Quaquaval and it would work considerably better on the gay duck #I’d say that’s sad because I prefer Meowscarada (best Pokémon alongside Ceruledge)#but I also love Quaquaval #if it weren’t for Skeledirge this otherwise-fabulous trio would be the best starter trio #but the ugly croc exists so it’s between Kalos Alola and Galar for me #things have changed since the last time I updated about my favourite starter trios (most notably Cinderace overthrowing Delphox)#honestly I think the Paldean trio doesn’t work that well as a trio #I’ve accidentally made Meowscarada work better as a pair with Ceruledge (trio if including Iron Valiant)#I hate Skeledirge it’s only there for the anti-furries and I wouldn’t have a problem w/that if it weren’t ugly af #Quaquaval just feels like it would work better on its own #or in a duo with another (Water-type) Pokémon #(I want to say Armarouge but I can’t see people choosing Scarlet and Quaquaval)#theming-wise the trio works but idk for some reason I just don’t think they do #unless I’m comparing them to the Kalos trio #but it doesn’t seem like that’s gonna be a likely situation with how much the Galar trio has grown on me recently #I love how Meowscarada (yes even my modest Meowscarada Spriggie) and Quaquaval are attention-whores #Skeledirge seems like it would become a smug attention-whore after discovering it’s the most popular of the trio #maybe that’s why Meowscarada and Quaquaval are attention-whores #maybe Meowscarada and Quaquaval would be better off as a duo #I have seen artwork of the two of them (I think they’re playing card games) without Skeledirge #and as much as I hate removing one member of a starter trio without also removing a second member to leave only one #it actually works

Hate when bitches at this store try to tell me "Ummm I need you to start the audit already, we're supposed to leave by 11" like damn that's crazy maybe if you left me a better store or did anything to help me out I wouldn't be starting so late after picking up all your bullshit

#literally the first thing i did was walk the entire store to see what all still needed doing and then i told the manager who still had #Several clerks on the clock 'hey the womens bathroom needs to be hit and all the counters need to be wiped down' and she went 'okay!'#then of course. wouldnt you know. when i get back in from my lot sweep (basically picking up excess trash or emptying trash cans #that got full after they took out trash earlier) (of which there were a Lot tonight. very unusual when most nights i can get by #without changing any of them)#none of the things i told her about had been done <3 And the kitchen was a fucking disaster #'you got clerks for that you coulda made them clean it' 'no ill do that later they did a lot today' okay sweetie whatever you say #they always wanna leave Me a shitty store to come into and then get an attitude when they have to stay late because again #I am spending more time fixing things that they should have taken care of already before i got there #wasting Both our time on clerk tasks just to get the store down to manageable levels of filth before i do the audit #and then you wanna complain like its My fault? whores #only One of the managers here ever leaves me a decent store (not Perfect but its still a huge improvement over other days)#and no matter how many times i give the same feedback to every manager i relieve or who relieves me in the morning #shit does not get better #i love it!!!!!!#meh.#mild vent #i guess #its just me bitching about work so whatever #also? you Told me you were gonna stay an hour late already? why are you fucking complaining about me being 'too slow'#to start the audit. bitch

reread all the vegas chapters from the goldfinch and listen…. ive always thought the movie was pretty good. just the sheer fact that they didnt straight up change any of the plot earns them a solid B, but man theres so many amazing scenes i wouldve loved to see.

#boris telling theo about his conversion to islam and his name meaning the moon and his mom telling him the moon follows you everywhere #theo asking boris if the moon looks the same in russia at 3:00am when theyre both still awake in bed together passing a cigarette #they should have shown more that boris literally lived with theo and they always shared his bed every night. theo called it ‘our bed’#the movie kinda made it seem like that was just a sleepover they had but that was every night for months #bc boris’ father was so bad and bc they didnt wanna be away from each other #and more of them completely laughing their asses off not being able to control themselves #theo spraying boris with xandras perfume and boris saying ‘whatd you do to me you whore’ classic.#boris kissing theos bloody hand!!!! god i wish they showed that #the kiss in the book was way better too like at least the movie had it at all but it was better in the book #im cool with them ditching kotku tho but jealous theo wouldve been fun to see #ok i gotta shut up #the goldfinch
