Things I dont like of Chapter 2 (the rise of solos)

You have heard me say it more than once that I don't like Chapter 2.

After much thought, and internal reflexions (cause sometimes I catch myself being mad or sad) I want to share with you the reasons (as a therapy):

1. There is no Ot7 content. Obviously, it's not the purpose, but if we want to see our favorites together (e.g. jikook), it's hard, and it makes me very sad 😥. There is only content from those who have something to promote, and so they do crossover, or a 2 x 1 (even in the design department).

2. Chapter 2 is the rise of solos, and maybe the end of the power or strength Army (as fandom) used to have. 

The true face of many accounts that are SOLO has come out. 

And when I say “SOLO”, I mean those who want the artist outside of BTS. I respect all opinions. But, if I knew that was their pov from the outset, I would not follow those accounts. Still, I follow accounts that follow and agree with those accounts... 😓😓 and the fact is that I don't know what the fuck to do, because sometimes I have the feeling that I need to start over and do a clean up, even though that would mean not following moots that I appreciate a lot.

I'm a bit of a solo myself. We all are. With our favorites. It's logical. 

But I want BTS back in 2025 or 2026.  I don't want any of them to leave the group unless they want to. 

And so far, they have expressed their willingness to be back together. I don't know... maybe they are constantly lying to us... or maybe it's the FUCKING TRUTH! 

As solos become more polarized, fandom will lose strength.

3. I do NOT like Hybe's planning at all. I'm sorry for what I'm going to do now, which is to compare, but it doesn't seem right to me that Hobi, for example, had almost 4 months for it (from July 15th when JiTB was released til mid October when Jin released the Astronaut) and Jimin only 4 weeks. Of course, the solution is to give more time to Jimin (not shade to my dear Hobi).

Let's see... wasn't this supposed to have been planned for a long time? This chapter 2.... 

Didn't Suga or RM have some songs already prepared before? 

Why not the vocal line? 

And what the fuck happened to the 3 songs and 3 MVs that Jungkook was talking to Hobi in early 2021?

Something is wrong here? Do you see it too?

4. In addition to planning, it should be added that Hybe is being very negligent in the way it promotes its biggest intangible assets: BTS members. I won't expand on this, because I already made a post.

But I do want to add something. It is good for all of us to speak out and raise our voices in the face of injustice. But we have to keep in mind that the solution is in Hybe now and the radio issue.

In my opinion, it is not organic to make massive purchases to boost anyone's position. I mean, from my pov, the merit is to take the song to the top 1 because everyone who listens to it, likes it, and then "it sounds more and more" and also they buy it. Army is needed, especially at the begining, but can't be the only source of success of BTS. 

BTS members deserve to be EXPORTED worldwide! Hybe DO YOUR JOB! 

5. Despite some glimpses of change (i.e. Bangtan naked era 😏) some things remain the same, to my own disappointment (but my fault & my expectations).

By this I mean certain very Kpop dynamics, which BTS still respects. Despite their privileged position and sailing between two seas: kpop and more western culture .... I think it's clear to us that where they are living influences their behaviour.

By this I mean all: the subject of women, how they should present themselves in front of Army, maintaining the illusions of the "ships", having  impeccable friends and collaborations (although as drinking is culturally accepted there, that seems to be well seen...).

It is funny to me when I see a lot of my PJMS-moots think that everything Jimin is going to do is always some kind of "coming out". There may be glimpses, and hints, but nothing could be further from the truth. Expectations of him are very high (free him from that burden!).... and they forget that he is one of the members who has the most respect for the elders and for his culture and values. If you talk to K-army they will point out that Jimin speaks with impeccable respect for Army. It's not for nothing that he's always at the top of the reputation rankings.

(Side note: maybe that's why the final part of "Letter" is so important, that it's not written in informal and that Jimin would never sing in that tone to Army).

There are things that have not changed and I wished they would change. For instance:

- I never expected jikook to come out of the closet, if I'm correct and they are together. But I also didn't expect such a level of misguidedness and protection (compared to other members, with whom they seem to go out to the theatre, football or drinking with no problem).

- I expected Taejennie to attend a premiere together, of some of their actor friends, and they didn't even greet each other at the Harry Styles concert.

Even if you don't think they're a couple, and that it was all a set-up (a bit naive, actually), it's impossible to think that they don't know each other, given that they share a lot of friends (starting with the Paradise family). 

But on the contrary, to cover up what for me is obvious, Tae has over-used certain mass-raising behaviours.... you know what I mean.

- I thought Jimin was going to tell us a bit more about his album, and he censored things for the minors in his vlive. I will never forgive our Jiminie for this.😣

I still have faith in Jungkook's recent misbehavior 😂. Although not much either.... But if he comes out in one pic alone with Calvins, I'll adore him for life and think there's hope for change 🥹

Anyway... the best thing about this era is seeing their talent and getting to know their solo works. Obviously. And of course to see how all the top brands want them...

and  how they show more and more skin! hahahahaha....Let's enjoy it...

Probably, but I can't remember. 😓 I think I use 'Well,' quite a bit, along with other short phrases to add a sort of casual/musing flavor to the inner dialogue. I know there's some sort of phrase that I'll cap a sentence off with, but I really don't know which fic to skim through to confirm that. 😅 Sorry, my laziness has yet to budge. 🥴

📌 If all your fics/WIPs fell off a ship and were drowning (go with it), and you could only save one, which would it be?

I think it'd have to be Powerless. I could probably rewrite all the others to some extent. They wouldn't be perfect 1-to-1 replicas or anything, but they'd still retain the same spirit. Powerless, however, was written during pure creative possession. Plus, that mofo is like 39k overall or more? I forget. But that in of itself would be hard to replicate and the only reason why I took it down was due to uninformed advice. That I was worried about shipbaiting my readers because I didn't know when Hinata was going to show up, so I just took it down like that was going to be okay. 🤦‍♀️ As if I could repost it in a matter of weeks and nothing would be lost. Lesigh. I'm still totally fond of it. There are some changes I want to make when I work on the rest of the re-upload, but Naruto's childhood in the first chapter was my favorite thing to write and I could never replicate the same feelings, I don't think. Even if I listen to the playlist I made for it. It'd help but never be the same.

I haven't written anything new yet since my Witchcraft AU. 😅 I wish. Yoga AU is top of my list. I think it's gonna be really long, but I'm looking forward to it. AHHH HELLO!!! THANK YOU SO MUCHH

I’ll do my best to explain it! I’d like to mention that the artwork isn’t actually a canon scene that happens and is moreso? symbolical 🤧 If that makes sense.

The characters name’s are Soleil (she uses any pronouns! In case me switching them gets confusing!) and Remiel, Remiel being the kid, obv.

I’ll have to go into my world building deets a lil so . apologies for that bc it’s usually kind of loaded😓

Soleil is something I call a guardian. A guardian is basically a piece of The Sky, a personification of sorts. The Sky is sort of like a god. In the very, detached, concept beyond your comprehension kind of way, that doesn’t communicate or really intervene as itself. Simply just. exist as the biggest thing, the thing everything else branches off from.

And Soleil, is one of many guardians. A guardian is the heart of a universe! They emerge in empty spaces within the ether, and fill it with a world that directly parallels their consciousness, their feelings etc.

Soleil is special in the way he interacts with everything around her. In a way she can hear all the faint melodies of everything that exists, including the sky itself! Which she actually kind of, hates! He thinks the sounds coming from The Sky are always very melancholic and upsetting. Therefore when Soleil finally gets to make their own world, a sort of veil appears, that hides The Sky away from her world, and “silences” the sounds.

Inherently, Soleil also shares the same melody with The Sky, as they are a part of it whether he likes it or not, but he refuses to acknowledge this. Drowning out their own sound, the sound of The Sky, with the sound of every living being on their world.

The world continues to thrive in this fashion, with Soleil existing as a distant observer to her creation for a loooong time until one day. A kid is born and this kid? Has the same melody as The Sky. This kid, is Remiel!

Remiel is a lot of things, I can say A LOT about his childhood, which I won’t get into right now as It’s not important to the context of the drawing. Main things that he is, that matters right now, is that he’s quite literally Soleil’s perception of The Sky, hidden deep somewhere in their subconscious, becoming a real physical tangible person in the world that emerged from their feelings!

This frustrates Soleil, they tried SO HARD to keep that sound out of the choir, to tune it out, to drown it out and now its back.

Okay so to sum it all up here. Soleil is created by The Sky, and is a piece of The Sky. Remiel is created by Soleil, but represents The Sky.

If, for simplicity’s sake I refer to The Sky as Soleil’s mom, to make the dynamic easier to understand, Soleil is Remiel’s “mom”, but Remiel is a literal representation of Soleil’s view of her own “mom” which Soleil hates, but despite this she’s also a lot like and shares many traits with her “mom”. And it’s just a big mess of, I’m your creator (mom), but you’re my creator, but we’re also similar, we are the same, but we’re not the same, you made me and I made you. And so forth.

Remiel doesn’t grow up to be the best person, that’s why I chose to draw him as a child. I think that’s especially when the interpretation of this dynamic as more familial hits hardest, because it could also be seen as directly reversing the dynamic, where Sol is a very old thing, as old as their universe quite literally, and Remiel is just a kid, about to hear a lot of things he wont like. ^_^

The more maternal interpretation also makes me upset /pos as Soleil’s issue is not really with Remiel or The Sky, but it’s with herself and her feeling stuck, unable to detach herself from their creator and it’s misery.

Sorry this is kinda messy n all over the place I hope I could get the main idea across at least😓 THANK YOU SO MUCH AGAIN! For the ask and the compliment :3 It means a lot!

Why I don’t like Ranveer Singh

This is the most impulsive blog that I am writing of my entire writing journey. 😂

A teaser dropped in of Karan Johar's 'Rocky aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani'. And I liked the teaser. So when discussing with a Friend I highlighted that I do not like Alia and Ranveer but I liked the teaser due to the Karan Johar touch. And then we almost fought over why I do not like Ranveer because I was not given a good typing time in the so-called ‘debate’😁. My argument is a deal.

Why I don’t like him.

Ranveer Singh as an actor is too loud who overpowers the character.

In the times of multiple entertainment formats (Movie, web series etc) Ranveer Singh is the same everywhere. You watch Simmba, Bajirao Mastani and Ramleela or Padmavat, nothing changes apart from looks. 

He may play versatile roles but that ‘Ranveer’ energy never offloads.

He is neither the boy next door nor a goor or bad cop personality. Then what is his own?

So Ranveer Singh is a good actor. No doubt. But as a fan you fall for the personality of an actor equally. It is an era of social media. Actors want to be seen on screen and at events, airports, reality shows, weddings and funerals as well. I mean why do you think Ranveer wears flashy clothes and roams around with huge speakers at airports. To be seen. Isn't it? I do not want to see a weird man like this. I am from an era of SRK, Akshay, Ajay, Amir, Salman, Jackie and even Govinda for that matter. I accepted yellow and red pants and even ripped jeans with bare chest Salman. Our generation has accepted it all. But Salman never roamed around in public with a t-shirt off or Govinda in Yellow pants I suppose. Of course we did not have instagram then. But humans remain humans. You absorb the advisable and avoid the ignorable. 😁 Ranveer did exactly the opposite. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I some how do not fit into that transition unless its only limited to screens. These actors are still on camera but then there is a big space in between the paparazzi cams and film cameras. Ranveer just mixes it all.

Jokes apart. An actor is an actor on screen but an individual outside. Shouldn't there be a difference when you see this man in both the places? "His 'traits' are such" as my friend points. But then do you mean he is acting on the outside too? Or is he not able to get into the character because of how he is on the outside? I am really confused. Where does he take real efforts? On or off screen? So much coincidence in every role and script that his traits are so magnetic for all the makers to want him to be him everywhere? Isn't he bored of jumping and bouncing everywhere? He was hopping as Kapil Dev also. Seriously? Thank God he did not play Dhoni. 😓Didn’t we see Sushant Singh Rajput as Dhoni and Sushant both?

I remember Sushant in Shudh Desi Romance, I remember Shahid in Kabir Singh as well as Jab we met, I even remember Sonakshi in Holiday and Tapasee in Thappad as well as Naam Shabana. Do you remember Ranveer in Ladies Vs Ricky Behl? If No, I will tell you why. Because he has overdone Band Baaja Baraat all the time. Once he realized it works he decided to eat, drink and sleep on it. He enjoys the fun those young fans have when they see this over enthusiastic man. He enjoys the following for his madness.

But when the same actor sheds tears on screen it does not reach the heart because you saw him last jumping when he promoted the film repeatedly. That emotion does not register. Because the man is very shallow. He does not show different shades of human personality. I suppose he doesn’t want to. I distinctly remember Ranveer in Ladies Vs Ricky Behl, Lootera, Dil Dhadakne Do, Gully Boy and 83. Movies where we could forget him as Ranveer and only watch Kabir, Murad or Ricky. In Fact he has done really amazing as all of them. As an actor he himself does not want to showcase various strokes as an artist. He can carry some roles naturally with ease like ‘Kabir’ in Dil Dhadakne Do. I loved him in that film. But you see him purely acting there because you have seen that of him very less. I am sure people will say 'film hai acting nahi karega toh kya karega'. But when that acting shows on the face of an actor in 2015 who debuted in 2010, you know it's a long way to go. Pagalpanti wala formula hit hai.

When I compared him to Govinda. My friend just rubbished the comparison saying ‘how can they be the same. Are Shahid and Ranveer the same?’ Now, let's answer that argument. Shahid comes from a horribly dysfunctional family background. Yet you see a calm and composed man when you see Shahid in real life. Nobody knows what happens in their personal lives. But when you see the man, you identify with his ‘traits'. Imagine Shahid hopping around and smiling unnecessarily to hide the misery. How do we judge this man called Ranveer? Shouldn't you be able to point out a difference between Simmba and Ranveer?😁 He is a next level mad man. Even the bad man is good in real life. 😂

People like me are in the minority. But we enjoyed all types of actors. When we saw the same people outside the films they were different people. So we knew Jackie Shroff as a good actor and Jackie Shroff as a rugged man with filthy Hindi. It never bothered me because when I heard him speaking Hindi in movies he was the most ideal man anybody could wish for. As a fan I see a lot of them everywhere today. So I can expect a lot from them on screen too. Govinda gets an upperhand there because apart from films I only saw him in awards or some red carpet. But today the way actors are 'available' for paps I will judge you over every small act. 😜

For example ‘83’. Great job here but when promoting Ranveer failed to imbibe even 20% of Kapil Dev’s calmness. Too loud. So what you see is Ranveer Singh again. I believe if the actor is playing a role he/she should be able to carry it for some time to make people believe in your work. You are not the same in office as home and vice a versa. Some dignity is required. Just because you belong to the entertainment industry you do not get the liberty to act like a retard everywhere and yet be loved for ‘he is so energetic’ nuisance. Otherwise you may swim in insanity. I am very sure it’s just pretending. He is not the way he shows us to be. Even Deepika tried this madness but then immediately bounced back. You cannot keep on pretending. This man is a constant nautanki. 😯

You can’t blame Ranveer completely. Because we have not seen the real Peshwa Bajirao we believed Ranveer did a fine job. After all it was Sanjay Leela Bhansali who made us believe. Ranveer was not even close to a Marathi common man yet people went gaga over him. Personally I feel he sounded just like Ram from Ramleela. Let's not go to the dance for even a second. But Rohit Shetty just proved me right because he could not remove a Singh out of Ranveer to play a Bhalerao. Do not worry, I googled Simmba. ☺️

You are not just a fan of one movie but collectively an actor's work and how he behaves in reality. Ranveer Singh confuses me. And confusion cannot entertain. Hence he fails to be liked by me. 🙂

ok well we literally do see suki grow beans in suki alone so i’ve gotta list her first. since her village is so near the unagi they probably wouldn’t fish, instead getting all their food from gardening and foraging. she’s been helping out in the community garden since she was little, foraging for beans and mushrooms, and maybe she also has her own little personal garden where she grows flowers and weed babeyyyyyy

air nomads definitely garden, like they literally live in the mountains and they don’t eat meat (they do eat eggs though! fun fact), so of course they’re growing their own food. idk if aang would have his own garden though, since they would be tended to by the monks and kids who live full-time at the temples and then the nomads who come back to visit, and there aren’t enough people to tend to a garden now that... yknow. but he definitely likes helping suki and iroh and his other friends out with their gardens when he visits them. he especially loves fruit trees that flower in the spring, and spends a lot of time in the orchards on the outskirts of ba sing se whenever he’s there (especially since he hates the rest of the city). overall, gardening is very calming for him, and reminds him of his childhood.

katara comes back from a visit to kyoshi island and is like “wow i love gardens 😍✨ i wish we had a community garden 🥬🍅🥦🥔 where we grew all our vegetables 🥒🌶🌽🥕and then put them into a 🍜 big soup 🍲 🥘 and also we could have 🌹🌷🌻 flowers in our garden 🌸 ✨ just to make it pretty 😌💕” and kanna gestures to the ground, which is covered in snow literally year round, and is like “yeah? okay good luck with that.”

toph likes dirt and digging in the dirt for worms so while she has absolutely no fucking clue how to actually garden she likes showing off helping people out by earthbending divots in the soil with machine-like precision and making fancy little gates out of earth with ornate detailing all in 3 seconds flat, just because she can.

suki shows sokka her garden but almost immediately he annoys her with questions like “how can you be sure you’re giving them the exact right amount of water each day if you take into account the humidity and the type of soil— what do you mean you just wing it???? are you also telling me you don’t even move your plants under the shade when the sun is too hot or put tarp over them when it rains— no rain isnt ‘good for them’ you’ll overwater them they’ll drown!!!!! suki suki suki what do you mean you don’t keep a logbook tracking their progress??? then how do you record your data so you know what to do and what not to do next season???? no one here keeps a logbook???? how do you people even survive????????” and that’s how sokka gets banned from ever talking about or thinking about or even looking at a garden ever again for the rest of his life.

i think zuko might have fun with a little flower garden but it cannot be bigger than one square foot i mean do u remember what happened when he tried to use a hammer and nail??? i don’t trust him to do manual labor he’s a spoiled little prince he’s not built for it 😓

azula would also be shit at gardening for this same reason, but i also think it’s why she needs to. zuko did manual labor in book 2, and granted, while very bad at it, it did humble him. although I also fear she’d get extremely neurotic about it in the same way sokka would, so i think eventually whoever made her start gardening is probably just like “okay you’ve been sufficiently humbled you can stop now”

mai hates doing manual labor, she hates tedium, and most of all, she hates getting dirt on her hands. even if u tried to make her garden to humble her, she simply wouldn’t do it. she’d just sit in the shade and make snarky remarks about how she’d rather kill herself than touch a vegetable before it’s been cooked and put on her plate. even if her only choices were gardening and starving to death, she would gladly go on a hunger strike. that is how much mai absolutely refuses to garden, even a little bit.

In terms of Killers, Ghostface is an aesthetically pleasing character but he’s not my main because his power kinda sucks😪 (stalking but he’s too slow to make good use of it), Demogorgon was up there as my main because he can teleport and has a good ‘dash’ ability that lets him do a long range jump attack, and Tiffany (chucky) is really fun for the same reason as Demo (Michael Myers would be on here but I’m waiting for his rework because his power is so ass). Pig I already said was a favorite of mine since you literally put people in reverse bear traps. Trickster, Artist, and Dredge are probably my favorite original killers in the game. In terms of survivors, I just put who’s hottest as my favorite, and usually it’s Renato Lyra (wrote a fic about pookie🤭) and Gabriel Soma. For licensed survivors, I’d choose Steve Harrington or Leon, since they both have decently good perks and are just🥵 (in other source material, they’re just okay looking here but it’s like how fortnite Leon was adapted to fit the games art style.)

When you blink, you see red. Mahogany blurs at the edges of your vision, cherry is all over your hands when you go to touch the piercing pain in your abdomen, crimson is in the eyes of the man who calls your name.

He gathers your fragile body in his arms, begging you to stay awake for him. “Keep your eyes on me. Just me, okay?”

You wrap your hands around his neck, pressing your face into his chest. “Katsuki, I don’t want to die.”

His heart breaks at that.

Bakugou is an insomniac- he’s always been one. His doctors tell him that he can fight it by going to sleep at the same time every night- it’s why he’s always knocked out by 8 PM. But it got worse when he became a Pro Hero. He couldn’t stop the nightmares of losing innocent people, what he should have done to save them, how everything is his fault.

Until you came into his life. Sweet, happy, pure. Your calm blue balanced his furious red perfectly to create a shade of lilac more beautiful than the field’s bounty of lavenders, more vibrant than a summer sunset.

Bakugou is running, no, flying, pressing his hand over your wound as he finds his way to the hospital.

“Don’t die on me. I swear to God, Y/N, I’ll kill you if you do.”

You giggle at his anger, but the subtle movement makes you hiss and pull back. Bakugou sees the hint of azure on your lips, the telltale sign of blood loss.

He’s right there, running through the doors and shouting for a doctor. He lays you down and then it gets confusing— you feel him holding your hand— you feel him squeeze your hands once—you squeeze back— or maybe you think you do. It’s just that your hands feel so cold—and stiff— and indigo.

But his hand is still there when the mahogany finally turns into black. It is still there when you see that glow in the dark. You want to walk into that radiance— you should— you even take a step— until you hear it. His voice fills your head.

I can’t live without you. It echoes over and over, sounding so broken that you can’t move.

You still feel his heart pulsing through his fingers, pushing warmth into yours. Red mixing with blue purple spreading through your body. His touch keeps you tethered— it keeps you in place as the halo of light dims back down and the world turns black again.

And when you wake up with a gasp, paddles on your chest, the first thing you see is red— not just his irises but his entire eye is tinted with pink, tears sticking in his lashes.

The doctors push him back—you hear him screaming that he loves you— there’s flashes of baby blue in the shape of gowns and gloves and masks— something put something over your mouth and nose— everything goes black once again.

It’s not the same as before, though. You feel like your sleeping, that you’ll be back again. You’re scared— you hate the dark. But you think of those bright scarlet eyes, and you know for a fact that you’ll get through.

Hi, anon!! 👋 Oh, what a great question!! I don't think I have a very interesting answer unfortunately LOL Sidenote: I suck at all things photo editing & whatnot (something that gives me much grief, I dearly wish I was better) so it was stupidly difficult for me to make both my icon & header. That's the only reason I haven't changed it in ages btw, not that I really want to, tbh. I like being able to ID mutuals just from their icon, so I prefer to keep mine the same for consistency's sake (though, of course, no shade to people who like to change it often!!) ANYWAY, to answer your actual question, I think when I made my icon, that scene where Red rescues Liz from her pretend beating with Ferret Man over the suitcase of bones was pretty recent, if not brand new, & - despite the circumstances - it was a moment I really loved between them. I thought it summed up their relationship really well. And that shot was so perfect to me bc you can see Liz gazing in awe at Red that he once again risked everything to save her. *insert distant scream-crying here* As for my header, I think I remembered that infamous hug-from-behind was a wide shot & perhaps more suited to a landscape header LOL But mostly I just tried to think of a good early season Lizzington moment I loved (who am I kidding, they're all good LOL) & I picked that one cause I just love it so much, it's classic early Lizzington with the weirdly suggestive body language & hair kisses, & I think it also sums up their relationship really well LOL 😅🥲😓 Like I said, not very interesting answers LOL But I very much appreciate the question, anon, thank you so much for sending it along!!
