Tumgik
#will fix him in future playthroughs
Hug him.
Astarion: I want to thank you.
Sylene Dathiir: For what?
Astarion: For what you said while I was in front of that vile drow.
Astarion: I spent two hundred years using my body to lure pretty things back for my Master. What I wanted, how I felt about what I was doing, it never mattered.
Astarion: You could have asked me to do the same - to throw myself at her, what I wanted be damned. But you didn't. And I'm grateful.
Sylene Dathiir: I don't want you to do anything you don't want to do.
Astarion: It's a novel concept, I admit. And a little intimidating.
Astarion: It would have been so easy to bite her. To just go along with what I was being told to do.
Astarion: A moment of disgust to force myself through. And then I could have carried on, just like before.
Sylene Dathiir: So why sleep with me? Did you think you'd get something from it?
Astarion: Of course, I needed protection.
Astarion: People don't trust vampires - perhaps understandably - so I needed to get someone on my side. And seducing you was easy, frankly.
Astarion: So imagine how stupid I felt when I started to genuinely feel something for you.
Astarion: Trust me, I was not happy about it. You were a complication I didn't see coming. And yet...
Sylene Dathiir: I care about you.
Astarion: Really?
Sylene Dathiir: Hug him.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Astarion: You... you are full of surprises, aren't you?
Astarion: Honestly, I have no idea what we're doing. Or what comes next.
Astarion: But I know that this? This is nice.

Chapter 1 Update is Here! ✦ DEMO
+10k words added to Chapter 1, bringing the total word count to 50k (with code)
More curt/unfriendly options towards mortals and other gods (Salvatore, parents, etc.)
More customization options, including new hair colors, eye colors, and distinctive features in Chapter 1
Multipronouns you can set in Chapter 1 (may change in future chapters)
Choice of clothes to wear to the Ceremony, which ROs may compliment if they like (3 out of 6 options for each of them!)
A new scene with your parents before the Ceremony where you can decide your relationship with them! (affects dialogue)
Option to storm off if you're mad at Ciocana, especially if you're touch-averse
Misc edits, bug fixes, and background performance improvements
This update is a massive improvement for new readers rather than warranting an entirely new playthrough. If you have any saves right before the Ceremony, you can find the most content there! However, the changes and additions are all over the demo.
... and Discord! ✦ Join here 🌿
My friend suggested I start one up! I hope to set up some events, share more sneak peeks, and connect with others more with this! 🫶💕 I also added some fun things like anonymous confessions and customizable color names, so please join! :)
(Very detailed changelog below if you're interested!)
Minor rewording for Karen encounter.
MC can now openly grimace when mortals call for MC's attention in Chapter 1. Previously, the only real negative reaction to them is turning away, which is open for any interpretation as to why MC does so.
When mortals ask for MC's help, MC can snap at them to speak quickly.
Most choices suggested you are friendly with Nero, so added a couple of options that are neutral towards him, leaning towards dismissive.
Rewrote a line that says you waved to Nero goodbye. It simply says that he departs.
Added an option to be frustrated with the conversation about mortals, when the only other non-positive options about mortals were about being completely disinterested.
Added an option where the MC says they can take care of themselves or they don't need other people worrying about them so much.
When choosing to be touch averse, selective, or not touch averse, you can now choose to be selective and not want to touch Rafaele, which initially was not an option.
If you are the Universal Eye, you tell Salvatore about the Universe being in pain and they dismiss it, you may be able to refuse conversation with them. They might keep talking to you, but you won't respond to them.
Can decide your relationship to your parents. Can also decide if you're open about your feelings towards them or not.
Variations in how your parents speak to you while preparing and during the Ceremony if they are aware of your bitterness towards them.
Can again openly express disdain for mortals or keep your feelings to yourself when answering Rafaele's question, when originally those options were absent
Can storm off from Ciocana if you do not express positive feelings about the dance, especially if you are touch-averse.
Added blue, pink, purple, and no hair options to Chapter 1, not available in the prologue.
Added red and gold eye colors to Chapter 1, not available in the prologue.
Added clothes option to Chapter 1 to wear to the Ceremony.
ROs will comment on your clothes if they particularly like it during the Ceremony (each have 3 out of 6 clothes they like.)
Added pronouns before the Ceremony. You can have multiple pronouns, remove them, and add multiple of the same kind to increase its chances of frequency.
Minor edits and bug fixes.
See you guys soon for the Chapter 2 update :)

im very normal about the end of silver’s story in sonic 06 because 99% of the time whenever he talks he does so in a way that puts so much emphasis and feeling into what he says like you can tell when this guy believes what he’s saying and when he’s uncertain it is blatantly obvious
so when he says “you’re my friend… right?” to Blaze you have to understand how much this fucks me up like this little hedgehog was so determined to save the future that he would’ve killed sonic if it meant fixing everything but he STILL wasn’t sure if he could even call Blaze his friend after everything they had been through together
and she’s like the only person he feels like he can really rely on throughout most of the game!!! he trusts Mephiles yes but Blaze was with him at the start of the game (and even before that) AND she was with him at the very end of his playthrough. he confides in her when he’s having doubts about game ending Sonic!!! he didn’t want to lose her at the end of the game!!! and he fell to his knees after he did!!! she was the person he was closest with and then he lost her!!! do you see why im so normal about this???
i don’t care that im not saying anything new here i will yell about hedgehogs until the end of my days and i’ve said it once and i’ll say it again there is not nearly enough silver and blaze content on this platform and by golly i am going to do something about it

Can I ask why you’re a John marston girl? No judgement btw he’s a fucken gorgeous
I love the no judgment part like "why the fuck is John your favourite, are you okay?"
Okay, so
I'm doing my 2nd playthrough rn and that's what basically confirmed me being a John girl because now I pay more attention to his character.
In my opinion, he has the best character development, he's only 26 in rdr2 before the epilogue and you get to see him grow up to be a whole different person, someone who put in the work to turn his life around, win back his family, take revenge for his brother and be someone Arthur would be proud of. Someone Abigail would be proud to call her husband and someone Jack would look up to as a father.
He's so human, I can't even explain how realistic he is. He's not the perfect main character, he's not a villain, he doesn't feel fictional in terms of his personality. He was just a careless stubborn idiot in his mid 20s with fears and issues and he kept fucking up and then realised his mistakes and actually put in the work to fix them.
He's not the "hero", that was his big brother (in his eyes) who gave his life so he would have a future and he didn't waste Arthur's legacy and sacrifice, instead he became the man he owed himself, above all, to be.
I can't even begin to describe how much I love him, the fact that you get to play with him in rdr2 and watch him build the ranch, work hard and win back Abigail and Jack, propose to her and be a good father to his kid but also never forgetting who he is or losing his personality is so fucking amazing to see.
He deserves a RDR1 remake, he deserves to be the main character. I fucking love John Marston and I'll never shut up about it.
Also yes, he's fucking hot, the hottest cowboy and he deserves the sloppiest, nastiest head in existence.

George's Relationship with his Father
I have some thoughts about the relationship George McFly has with his dad, Arthur McFly. I'll put it under a cut because it's gonna get long. And I mean long.
Tumblr media
Okay, while watching a playthrough of the BTTF game I noticed that George says this:
"Hey, sometimes you gotta go out on a limb for the ones you love, right? I wish MY dad had understood that."
I'm like, "Woah, what? What's his relationship with his father like???" So I head over to the wiki and find THIS:
Tumblr media
"Here we see that Arthur is about as wimpy and spineless as George since he gives his son many pathetic reasons not to attend such as college being hard and his grades that he received in school. He even tells George that he will never succeed in life with his current grades and such which could be the primary reason why George becomes a pushover in the original 1985."
Furthermore, he's described to be "a dead ringer for 1955 George in looks, voice, and personality."
Obviously George doesn't (or didn't, since he's implied to be dead) have a very good relationship with his father. But what's really interesting about this is the fact that they're practically the same personality-wise. (They're both pathetic, pushovers, doormats, etc.) Do you think that George sort of resents himself for acting the way he does (or did, in the case of the new timeline)? Because he hurt others the way his dad hurt him, since his actions reflect his father's? God, that's sad to think about.
You would think, in the case of the original 1985, that he would actively try to stray away from being like his father, but obviously, he failed. This is true to real life generational trauma, in which you swear you will never end up like your parents, but you do anyway because the way they treat you and act sticks with you. Yeah, you get the point right?
George's dreams got shot down by his father, and in the original 1985, he didn't have the courage to stand up for himself. Arthur never stood up for him either; and George ends up just like him, albeit more passive... at least he lets Marty do whatever he wants for the most part. Speaking of which, I think Marty serves as an interesting parallel to George's relationship with Arthur, since Marty actually gains a lot of courage and confidence due to the fact that his father is a pushover. George loses more of his sense of self worth because of his dad, since he never believed in or helped him. As a result, he never tries to achieve his dreams and remains unmotivated.
Now let's switch gears to the new 1985. Because of Marty's help, George gains the courage to stand up to his bullies and thus, becomes a more confident person. He gets motivated to do better. I'd like to think that because of this, George also stands up to his dad as well, becoming more successful in the process. I think that he sort of wanted to stick it to his dad, to prove that he can be successful and that he could do anything he set his mind to. This probably pushes George to work harder, which ultimately pays off as seen in the ending of Back to the Future 1. He had achieved his dream as a writer and had a better life overall. However, it seems that George's success hadn't changed his father one bit, as seen in the clip I included above. Even though George ended up happier and wealthier, it didn't mend his relationship with his dad. I don't think Arthur is necessarily a bad person, but he could've definitely been a better father.
This is an almost tragic part of George's character, even in the fixed timeline. It demonstrates how you could be similar, yet so different from your parents. How the way they treat you impacts the way you act, depending on your circumstances and the way you view yourself. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed this worthless ramble!!!

I recently saw a tiktok talking about which of the Fallout protagonists people most prefer, in light of the fact the Fallout show is coming out soon ish.
Perhaps unsurprisingly the most popular answer was the courier, which makes sense because New Vegas is a masterpiece, but also a lot of people talked about liking their backstory being less scripted.
Like compared to the lone wanderer or the sole survivor there isn’t like a cut scened backstory about your family or anything, the courier just pops up with a blank slate you can imagine however you want.
I totally get that, don’t get me wrong I love New Vegas, but having thought about it I do find the journey of the sole survivor and the lone wanderer effected me a lot more.
Especially the lone wanderer who I reckon is probably my favourite.
The characters I remember from New Vegas often have very little to do with my character. Like I remember the NPCs I met but the courier is basically just my eyes and ears, a much more blank slate.
With Fallout 3 I remember feeling gut punched by a lot of those moments, leaving the vault for the first time, finding your father and then loosing him, they really hit emotionally because I’m invested in the story of my player character.
But the main one I want to focus on is one of the moments I’ve found most impactful across all the games I’ve played,
Leaving the vault for the 2nd time.
Now not everyone might have done this quest, I’m pretty sure I missed it on my first playthrough, but if you haven’t ever done it you absolutely need too.
After your father dies if you return to Megaton you can pick up a distress frequency from the Vault where you hear Amata (your old bff and one of my favourite minor characters) asking for your help specifically. Something has gone wrong back home and you need to came back to fix it.
So you toddle off back home, and either help (or hinder) the vault get through a mini civil war. For the purposes of this post we’ll go with help.
So you save the vault, Amata is now in charge and everyone is safe and sound again, thanks to you. You’ve managed to save your home.
But you can’t stay.
Amata breaks the news to you that even after everything you’ve done there’s too much bad blood for you to stay. People blame you for the chaos, the change it’s brought. Amata can lead them into a better future but you can’t be at her side while it happens.
So you leave.
You walk out the vault door again, and as it closes behind you and you head back out into the wasteland you’re alone again.
The first time I played it (and honestly every time since) I was hit with such a strange grief. Like a hollow sad feeling I wasn’t expecting. Loosing your father is sad but this felt more impactful to me for some reason.
Maybe it’s the one-two punch of it, like lose your father and lose your home. But I for me it’s always reminds of the quote “you can never go home again” by Thomas Wolfe.
I don’t know exactly why this concept has always stuck with me, like it’s just stuck in my brain and it never really leaves. Maybe it’s from moving inter-state when I was a kid, and a few times since. But that idea of wishing to go back to a place where things were better, where you were happier, only to go there and realise it’s not how you remembered, and that you don’t belong any more, I guess it hits home.
You’ve been cast out into the wasteland, gone from your relatively comfortable and happy home into a world of violence and chaos and horror, only to lose your father. You fail, your defeated by the enclave, you’re starting again after a devastating setback, and when you’re at your lowest you get just a crumb of hope.
You get to go home, back to that place, but it’s not the same. Even when you ‘fix it’, you end the violence, there’s still no place for you there.
You just don’t fit any more.
And so you leave, you’re alone again. There’s no going back to when things were better, and the road ahead is more than hard, it’s probably impossible and even if you do succeed life will still probably never be easy.
But the vault door is sealed behind you, there’s no where to go but forward.
I know this is reading so deeply into a very minor side quest from a game from 15 years ago, but I honestly think it’s some of Bethesda’s best storytelling and kind of criminally overlooked in all the new Fallout talk.

How to romance Marazhai (mainly dom!Rogue Trager focused)
First of all, I need to send a thousand thanks to @pjenn @chonker-chan @wretchedelights and @milleart because without their comments, suggestions, warnings and guides I would have not been able to successfuly romance Marazhai as dom!RT. Also a thousand thanks to reddit user u/TohnoRin who also helped me fix the romance.
for an in detail guide on the flags this romance has, and how to avoid bugs and get the ideal ending please check wretchedelights post at this link!
Jan/2024 his romance is currently slightly bugged if you play as a dom!RT. I will update this in the future.
CHAPTER 2 (meeting Marazhai)
While I do not know if other options would also end up in romacne/recruitment, I made sure to choose the answers that were not "I will kill you" (or maybe he would have loved that).
Options and dialogue from act 2 is fromt he Marazhai romance playthrough 1/? post to the 7/?, and you can find them at this tag: Marazhai romance chapter 2.
The quest to meet him the first time is called "Blades in the Void".
CHAPTER 3 (recruiting Marazhai)
In the playthrough tags it is from n 8/? to n 20/?, all tagged Marazhai romance chapter 3. Plus, I did not have some scenes in this chapter so I posted them separately: Argenta and Heinrix about Marazhai; Marazhai's killing blow quest.
Before starting the chapter
Effectively, the chapter is triggered by the point of no return in chapter 2, which is Yrliet asking you to look into a lost ship. The quest is named "Following Breadcrumbs" and at this point just know that whatever characters you bring they will be the only characters with you in chapter 3.
In particular, if you have two between: Ulfar, Heinrix and Argenta, you will unlock some extra dialogue with Marazhai and will have to defend your recruitment of him. Given Ulfar is recruited in chapter 3, you should bring at least one between Argenta and Heinrix. Also, Ulfar needs to be recruited before Marazhai in this case.
Chapter 3 starts with your kidnapping. You will have to find all your companions but one (in a separate map) before your first fight in the Arena. After your first fight in the Arena, you can access Tarvantias' Anatomical Opera where you can recruit Ulfar, find one of your missing companions (for me was Cassia) and talk to Marazhai. Marazhai is on an elevated platform, right from Tarvantias. Here you can ask him to join you.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Recruiting Marazhai
Next is the Arena fight where, if you were successful, Marazhai will join your side, and this is where you recruit him. Back at The Pit you can chat with him and your companions.
Tumblr media
Make sure to choose "you intrigue me" when he asks you why you decided to recruit him.
Sub/dom choices unlocked
Chapter 3 is the one that has the messy dom/sub flags, at least until Jan 2024, hopefully it will be fixed later. This means that if you want to be a Dom!RogueTrader you need to choose to sub-adjacent options (in particular at the Pit allow him to grab your chin, and later allow him to use the agoniser on you). If you want to have your character be submissive, then choose the dominant options. In any case, you will be able to change these values with Toybox mod.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Spire
Once you are out of the streets you can get to the Spire. In my list of playthrough I missed a scene (I did not look for it and did not get the Killing Blow quest), but it seems like it did not change my game or romance.
Here Marazhai will also asks you to stop by and grab something of his (the agoniser, which is on the last floor of the map, the same where his sister is located). I can't confirm but I also read online that picking this up seems to be fundamental to unlock the romance. After you kill his sister, this is the end of Chapter 3.
CHAPTER 4 (romance)
Here is the full playthrough of chapter 4.
Back to the Voidship! This is also where the romance starts. From this point on, the dom/sub flags are correct so you can choose the correct dialogue options.
If you activate on toybox the chance to see dialogues flags and consequences it will be pretty easy, as you can see the tag for "ascension". This is basically an approval meter, the higher it is the more likely to get his true romance ending.
The order of the romance is:
1) In voidship, dialogue with Marazhai, ask him why he needed the services of Tarvantias.
Tumblr media
2) First voidship warp jump, you will get news that Marazhai is on a rampage. Go to him, try to break him free from the demonette (I used persuasion, Yrliet's help and coercion) and then warn him of her attack.
Tumblr media
3) The post fight dialogue has the romance trigger. Choose between giving him free hunting range (Sub!RT) or giving him a limited area (no dom/sub points but the only option for Dom!RT).
4) Go talk to him back in the bridge of the ship and he will give you the quest "Shards of Tempest".
5) Two jumps or more from this point, there will be a cut scene with him asking you to kill together. The sub!RT option is asking him to guide you; the dom!RT option is to tell him to ask properly and in this case if you did things correctly he won't complain and won't be annoyed with you. With dom!RT, he will just kneel and ask you to join him.
Tumblr media
6) Go along with his murderous desires. Just know that for now the aftermath bed scene is sub!RT coded even if you have the correct dom!RT flags, it's okay! Also try to kiss him, I have been told it leads to a later scene!
Tumblr media
7) Now you can do his personal quests. While the quest is pretty vague and open, the real quest is three rumors: Suspicious Ships (in Langrenn's Belt), Xenos Skirmish (in Orsellio Prophecy, the planet is Arid World), Fall of Santiel's Pride (in Nolla Septum). You will get fights (ex. clear the Nolla Septum planet and the Drukhari ships) or dialogue options where you can send Marazhai. Do not worry if the rumors don't clear, for me only the Fall one cleared as completed.
8) Go back to the bridge of the ship and you should have a cut scene where Marazhai gives you a gift. Accept one of the three gift options, and then use it accordingly to the role chosen (don't mix it up!), I am playing dom!RT and I chose to use a torture device on him, he was very happy. There is no dialogue difference between the three gifts, only the description.
Tumblr media
9) At this point you can proceed with the main quest.
10) If everything goes well, you will get some ascension points (this will give you true romance at the end) and dominant (or submission) points through the main quest (be cruel, eat the brain, re-establish your dominance or submission role when he tests you)
Tumblr media
11) After the main quest (the siege) you will get the branding scene. Remember to follow your role! I am playing as dom!RT so I branded him and he was pretty happy.
Tumblr media
12) Talk to him on the bridge for some extra dialogue (he flaunts the mark).
CHAPTER 5 (ending)
Chapter 5 videos of the playthrough are here. (to be posted soon)
Chapter 5 is very short so it is almost impossible to miss Marazhai's tempest quest. Visit the few planets around you and you will see some Drukhari ships. Marazhai's old kabal will want to meet him so invite them on the ship.
If you are playing as dom!RT you can get more ascension points (this is for the true romance) by re-establishing your role. Do not be afraid to humiliate Marazhai in front of his people, he wants that and will be disappointed if you do not remind him of his place.
Tumblr media
Follow the quest and go to the trap and kill Marazhai's old kabal. This is the final quest for him. I know there are other endings, so I am sure there is a way to make Marazhai into an archon, but for me I had no chance to.
At this point you will get his ascension scene. You will get this scene if you accumulated enough ascension points by re-establishing your roles (these are more or less "approval" points). The scene will start with Marazhai asking you for a bigger feast (murderous killings!).
If you refuse you will lose precious ascension points. If you accept you might have to kill one of your advisors. There is an iconoclast option so I suppose there might be a dogmatic or heretic one, and if you choose that you can reign in Marazhai and make him kill only on a limited side of the ship (the iconoclast option tho is very dom!Marazhai at the moment).
After, you will get him declaring his loyalty and affection for you!!
If you tried to kiss him before, remember to pretend to want to break things off so he will desperately pleade and you can actually kiss him:
Tumblr media
(remember that you can add ascension points with toybox if needed).
This is the end of his romance, if everything goes well by the epilogue you will have a slide where it is said that Marazhai is often by your side and you have an unbreakable bond!

So. About uncle Solomon.
I'll preface by saying that I'm a Sebastian Apologist. I like him and I didn't send him away on my playthrough. I don't think he deserves Azkaban, definitely not, and I hope we see more of him in the future.
However, I oftentimes see people attempt to fully justify his actions and almost completely erase his crime by saying stuff like "it was self-defense" "Solomon was abusive" "he wouldn't look for a cure"
Sebastian cannot come to terms with the fact that his sister is dying. He won't have it. He probably knows it's true and as the game progresses, he looses grip of the last bits of denial he has. He goes from "she'll get better soon" to touching Sith Holocrons in less than a year. And I know the curse doesn't explicitly say Anne will die, but the words "all we can do is make her comfortable" is code for "it's terminal" in my eyes, like, people who have heard them irl can attest how hard they hit.
And Solomon, being a no-nonsense ex-cop, probably decides that the only reasonable way to deal with this is to face it head on. Anne *will* die, boy, you have to accept that, there shall be no bargaining and no denial in this house, be a man. Not the healthiest way to deal with grief, but therapy hasn't been invented yet.
The whole situation (and this is a weird example, I know, but I immediately thought of it when I made my way through Seb's quests) reminds me of 2017 IT, where Bill keeps coming up with increasingly unlikely theories on where his little brother might be, until his father angrily yells at him that "Georgie is dead" and to just accept that.
And like... I mean, sure, Solomon was absolutely shit at parenting, he failed Sebastian, he offered him 0 support, compared him to his dead father and some people would say that being a terrible parent constitutes as abuse in and of itself. But I really think the game wants us to see things beyond "Sebastian good Solomon bad". I think Solomon was dealing with his own pain, he probably felt guilt for failing to protect his niece, him visibly favoring her over Sebastian is evidence to that, imo, but now his nephew is slipping away and why did his brother had to die, if only he weren't such a nerd...
I am not excusing Solomon's actions, but I'm also firmly against the idea that it excuses Sebastian's actions in any way. Starting from continuously lying to Ominis and ending with murder. We know he regrets it, we heard him in the undercroft, he accepts Anne not wanting anything to do with him, his voice breaks a little, he's sorry. But such a mistake isn't something a few sessions of ugly-crying can wash off, that shit stays with you forever.
And I think that makes him more interesting? I want him to have an arc, to grow and fix his mistakes. I think that makes fanfiction of him more interesting, ya feel me? :) I love a good redemption, I'm an absolute sucker for it.
Anyway, half of this is probably just headcanon and I'm not intending to step on anyone else's headcanon, so don't take it the wrong way.

Tav Loredump Round 2 (Evil Edition): Regan Coleridge
me and @ms-scholars-gown-bnoc have been embarking on our Evil playthrough while we wait for a Act 3 bug to get fixed and they're taking over our brains
LIST (from @tolkien-fantasy )
Round 1 with my good boi Ralxire
This is Regan. Human, Knowledge Domain, Cleric of Mystra. Absolutely gorgeous, but also the most power hungry woman to ever live.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Why did you pick the race you did for your Tav?
Again, I'm trying to play all the races and honestly... I think this was the only way I was ever going to play a Human. It should be the first red flag amoungst my characters - I never play humans. Especially as we'd already established my bud was going to play Drurge, I knew I was going to need to make a really neuanced Tav
Why did you pick the class you did for your Tav?
Listen... I love evil clerics. I love them. I love the idea of piety as not inherently good, but rather neutral at best. Devotion as a force of destruction is my whole shit. I also love the idea of the persuit of knowledge/power as a neutral act.
Mystra is a neutral goddess - not a good one. She is magic. Magic is a tool, something to be understood. Regan does not see magic - or Mystra - as something beautiful. It is a power that can be harnessed and should be harnessed to the extreme.
What is your character’s moral alignment?
Neutral Evil / True Neutral depending on how you look at it
How did you choose your Tav’s name, if you gave them a unique one?
The party Drurge was already called Cordelia and King Lear happens to be my favourite Shakespeare play. Regan had the right vibe for me - plus some of her scenes have been alarmingly close.....
Coleridge is an injoke just for me. I hate Coleridge. I was made to read the Ancient Mariner in a single night and I've never forgiven him for how long it is.
What are your character’s strongest and weakest stats (strength, charisma, etc)?
Highest is WIS at 18 (currently). Lowest is DEX at 8. She's a tank
What is your Tav’s origin story?
When Regan was about 10ish she was given to a clergy of Mystra. Her parents lacked the means (or, in Regan's eyes, the will) to raise her. She would have been a wizard - most precious to Mystra - but she lacked the aplitude. Knowing that ejection from the monestary would spell her doom, Regan comitted herself to reverence instead. Day in and Day out she performed perfect piety. She contented herself to a future of kneeling at Mystra's feet.
Then the mindflayers happened and suddenly kneeling didn't seem so appealing.
What was the most significant moment in your Tav’s origin story?
I think we're in it. But in truth, it's not a single moment that is significant. It's the day-in, day-out subservience of worship. That grated on her.
What deity, if any, does your character worship?
Mystra. As the font of power. In future.... perhaps a more apt god will replace her.
What is your Tav’s biggest priority or goal?
The persuit of power, enough that she may exert it on others.
If your Tav didn’t become an adventurer, what else would they be doing?
I think she'd either still be in that Temple, or she'd become the Main Villian of another DnD campagin
What is your Tav’s most used weapon or spell?
We're still pretty low level, but I think it will be Spirit Guardians.
What is your Tav’s favorite school of magic/weapon type?
Her go-to is Weapon and Shield - ideally spear or mace. She's a radient magic girl
How does your Tav fight in a combat situation?
She is in the thick of it, tanking blows and throwing out healing as she can.
Does your Tav know any other languages besides Common?
Likely several! Celestial at the minimum
If your Tav could/does multiclass, what other class would they choose?
Paladin. Hard to think of an Oath she wouldn't break for her convinience though
Which of the companions does your Tav trust most?
Cordelia/Drurge is cheating, although that's probably true. She sees Gale as imminently manipulateable, so likely him. Everyone else has too much self preservation
Which of the companions does your Tav distrust most?
Shadowheart. Cleric rivalry. Also, she's smarter than she lets on
Who is your Tav’s biggest rival?
Mystra.
Who is your Tav romancing, if anyone?
Sorry Gale......
If you’re romancing anyone, why did your Tav fall for them? And why did that character fall for your Tav?
This is some toxic stuff. This isn't a nice romance. Gale fell for her early - and who wouldn't! She's gorgeous and devoted to knowledge. She adores Gale's long winded explainations. Her relationship to Mystra is almost as complicated as his is. He just... didn't see the red flags until it was already too late.
Tumblr media
Does Regan love Gale? I think unfortunately yes. But she doesn't love him to make him better. She loves his aptitude for magic, his boundless ambition that drew him to the Orb. She sees his folly not as a moment of weakness - a moment where his inherent insecurity led him to do something terrible - but merely poor execution. She lacks the moral compass that would make Gale better, in another timeline.
If you’re romancing anyone, who fell first and who fell harder?
Gale and Gale. Sorry, bud
How does your Tav act around their crush?
So confident. In the real world, she'd be the kind of girl to act supremely aloof around her crush and it would seem like she hated them
What is your Tav’s favorite moment they’ve had with their lover?
We haven't got to weave sex yet, but it will be weave sex
What is your Tav attracted to? What are their turn-ons and turn-offs?
Power, bby. Or, more specifically, ambition. The willingness to chase power.
Turn offs are laziness, lack of ambition and extreme morality
Does your Tav have any biases against other classes or races?
Not specifically, only moral stances
What is the most prominent color in your Tav’s color scheme?
White + pink/orange tones. Ideally I want to lean into white + gold for peak High Priestess vibes
What is their sense of humor like?
Sarcasm. A little mean, but not intentionally.
What is your Tav’s guilty pleasure?
Wine and sunbathing. Lounging like a cat. Fine, expensive things - things she's never had
How easily offended are they? How do they act when offended?
Not especially easy to offend, but if you do get on her bad side, you're never recovering
How does your Tav react when someone insults their friend/partner?
It depends what her relationship to them is. She's not quick to violence, but verbal beratement is on the table
How does your Tav dress for different occasions, like very fancy situations?
Regan would have the wardrobe of an empress if she could. Her fashion sense is like... Ethereal Seductress. That dress in Act 3 is going to be a staple
How did your Tav get their scars, if they have any?
Currently, she doesn't have any. That won't last
What is your Tav’s relationship with their family?
Nonexistant and she's going to make it everyone's problem
What is your Tav’s opinion on nobility and authority?
Complicated. She has respect for people who are "self made", but dispises those who are in power by virtue of their birth
How does your Tav react to wearing the Wavemother’s robe? How do they react to their partner wearing it?
She would wear it 24/7 if she could. She would LOVE Gale in it. She's exactly the kind of woman who would have a thing for dressing up their partner
What is your Tav’s favorite type of environment? Like in a tavern, a library, out in the wilderness, underground, etc.
Library, ruins...Surrounded by lost knowledge on all sides
What would your Tav’s Zodiac sign be?
Gemini
 What is their favorite season?
Summer
Where in the world does your Tav want to visit the most?
Anywhere and everywhere. She's never really been anywhere
What is the biggest mistake your Tav ever made?
This... is tricky. Unfortunately for the world, she's pretty on the up-and-up rn. She would say something like "not finding another way to apply herself to the arcane"
What animal best represents your Tav?
You and I both know it's a Fox or a spoiled all-white Cat
What flower/tree/plant best represents your Tav?
Angel's Trumpets! Gorgeous. One of the most deadly flowers in the world, actually part of the nightshade family. The symptoms of it's poisioning are....knarly. But it's still widely cultivated because it's just so pretty. Comes in pink.
Tumblr media
( This means that two of my BG3 characters have toxic plant connotations btw - my drurge in my solo playthrough is a Spores Druid called Amanita Ocreta )
What does your Tav smell like?
Chanel CoCo Mademoiselle
What song best represents your Tav?
When I was making her, this song came on and it was just perfect
Gale @ her though:
ALSO this is the theme for the run:
What would be your Tav’s favorite music genre?
Pop forever
What role would your Tav play in a highschool AU? (nerd, jock, bully, goth, etc)
Mean Girl. She's basically Regina George already
What is the most important item your Tav has?
Regan doesn't have many! Honestly it's money. She never had money before, she didn't need it. Now it's everything
Where does your Tav feel most at home?
The Center of Attention
What is your Tav’s philosophy on life?
That ultimately the world is merely about power. Regan has the reductive but unfortunately common view that it is the duty of the smart and capable to grab for power, and the weak to suffer. She'd be a hustler irl.....
Does your Tav think more with their heart or their brain?
She doesn't have a heart to think with
What does your Tav want in their future? (domestic bliss, more adventure, a family, etc)
Stability in a position of power. Control.
What is your Tav’s worst fear?
To be forced to serve
Is your Tav easily tricked or deceived?
Yes. Her power grabbing is transparent
If your Tav was granted a single wish, what would it be?
Godhood
How does your Tav feel about keeping secrets, both their own and others?
A necessity. Secrets are to be used and traded like all else
How would your Tav react to a love confession?
Amusement
What are your Tav’s biggest insecurities?
That someone will see her ambition for what it is - fear and insecurity.
What decision would your party have to make in order for Tav to consider splitting off from the group?
The destruction of knowledge. Sitting around waiting to die. All other positions she at least sees as malleable
What is your Tav’s favorite food?
Fruits
How generous is your Tav, especially to those they don’t know?
Regan does not believe in generosity for its own sake. Only for gain.
If an evil character told your Tav that they wanted to change and help them, would they believe it?
Hah... Well, they'd be talking to the wrong girl
What meme describes your Tav the best?
Tumblr media
What does your Tav want to be remembered by?
Influential. Strong. Powerful. Awe
What Tarot Card best represents your Tav?
The Magician both upright and reversed
What would be your Tavs major in college?
Buisness or Economics
Does your Tav consider themselves a hero, villain, victim or something else?
Victim or Hero. She is a Villian though
How good is your Tav at giving advice? How good are they at following it themselves?
Regan only gives advice to maniplulate others into doing what she wants or to earn their trust. She doesn't take advice. She's too self-important
How does your Tav get along with each party member?
Gale -> He loves her. She loves that about him Astarion -> They're running the same grift. They get along accordingly Shadowheart -> Tentative. Regan is who she pretends to be La'zel - > They haven't figured each other out yet Wyll - > N/A Karlach -> N/A Minthara - > Remains to be seen. But something tells me they'll get on
What are your Tav’s other hobbies?
Reading, mostly. I think she learns sections of history for fun.
(Free Spot: Ask any question you’d like!)
Weirdly, I always think about Caeser when I think of her? I think she's also aiming for like taking an obscure religious office and turning it into power.

Across the Stars
[This is indeed a sea of stars fanfic, and is part of an AU I'm working on. You'll learn more as future chapters are posted.. but for now, enjoy the first chapter! If you haven't played or watched a playthrough of Sea of Stars, I highly recommend you do so before you read this, since this fanfic has MASSIVE spoilers! For TWs, I guess anything related to the canon of this series? There won't be anything NSFW or 18+ in this fic.]
Chapter 1: On The Way To Wraith Island
"Take in the sunlight, pals, I hear Wraith Island is reaaaal gloomy!" Valtraid called out as he stretched his arms toward the sun. "Yeah, a good 'ol soul-based Dweller'll do that." Yolande said, looking out at sea.
"Heh. Nothing you solstice folk can't fix, ov course." She added, noticing the worried look on Zale's face. The Blade Dancer looked out at the horizon. There was water surrounding them entirely; water in front, water behind, water on the sides. He'd swum before, but never sailed like this. This much water made him uneasy, but he kept quiet seeing as to how the others didn't mind it. Valere especially seemed to be enjoying the humidity, sitting cross-legged on the little raft and looking out at the expanse of ocean with Garl.
"Zale! Zale, come here, look at this!" Zale jumped, then crawled over to see what Garl was pointing at in the water.
"You see that?"
The boy squinted, peering down.. and saw a shadow move beneath. Something long and twisting, likely deep below them, snaked slowly through the depths of the water and out of sight.
"Gaah! What is that?!" Zale startled, creeping away from the water's edge. "Sea monster, o' course!" Yolande said cheerfully. "The seas are full ov em, but they don't mind ya unless ya piss 'em off or something."
"Woah! Have you guys ever fought a sea monster before?" Garl asked her, enthusiastic.
"Us? We've had our fair share ov battles!" Yolande flexed an arm with Valtraid. "Why, one time, we-"
"YOLANDE!"
Klee'shae's sharp voice cut through their conversations. The pirate captain glared at her crewmates, red eyes fierce.
"Sorry, cap'n. Well, 'fraid I can't tell ya the details, but we've fought, yeah."
"Well, who knows? We might see this creature on our way back!" Garl looked about, smiling a little nervously.
Yolande let out a laugh. "Haha! You haven't heard about the one-way-trip deal with Wraith Island, have you?"
"What do you mean?" Garl asked innocently. Valere looked a little bit concerned, though she was calm as always. Zale had envied her ability to keep herself so controlled.
"Well! You see.. No one that's been to Wraith Island has EVER RETURNED!!"
Zale's stomach sank. Ever returned? And he, Valere, and the other Solstice Warriors were supposed to just.. go there like it was some routine trip to kill the Dweller? He shuddered softly, thinking of all the people who must have gone, seeking treasure, and never come back for one reason or another. He could guess why - and it wasn't that they were content enough not to come back.
"Why not?" Garl asked.
"Stories say the Dweller of Woe has mind-control powers." This time, it was Keenathan who spoke. "After setting foot on Wraith Island, people are cursed to remain there for the rest of their lives. And life on Wraith island is.."
He paused, his slight smile faltering. "..it's lived day by day. For no one knows who the Dweller will prey on next."
"Prey?"
Keenathan nodded to Garl. "Aye, every so often, the Dweller sings with her cursed voice, compelling one of the denizens of Wraith Island to sleepwalk into her lair, never to return..."
"Okay, that's.." Garl looked saddened. "But why would people even go there, then?"
"Curiosity? Boredom? A need to escape? Frankly, you'll get to ask soon enough." Yolande looked out at the sun, which was starting to set. Zale sighed. He held out his arms, soaking in the last of the warm sunlight. Valere giggled, seeing his dramatic pose as he kneeled on the raft. "You're acting like it's your very last sunset!"
"Well, forgive me for wanting to enjoy every bit of the stuff!" Zale laughed nervously. She was right - it very well could be.
"Zale's right! We aren't gonna be seeing the sun for a bit, so I think we should enjoy it."
"Ahoy, Captain!" Valtraid called out. "Seems the sun be setting!"
Klee'shae turned to Valtraid and nodded curtly, turning her attention back to the sea. The crew looked about as though searching for something.
"Oy." Yolande caught Zale's attention with a pat to the shoulder. "Don't ya blink now, or ye'll miss it."
Garl jumped as he saw a flash of light, staring in wonder at the green silhouette in the distance. "Woah!" The warrior cook grinned, pointing out at the horizon. "There! I see.. what is it?"
"Behold!" Keenathan beamed. "The legendary ghost ship that appears at dusk. The Vespertine!"
Zale stood in awe as the ship came in to view, surrounded by crackling green mist. The trio gasped as the ship vanished as quickly as it had appeared in a flash of green lightning and the mist dispersed out across the surface of the water.
"Wow.." Zale looked over at Klee'shae, whose eyes were still fixed to the spot where the ghost ship had appeared.
"Quite the prize, innit?" Valtraid gave Keenathan, who was still magicking the wind into the sails, a hearty elbow. The sun set, fully now, and the full moon came into view, bathing them all in icy light.
"The Vespertine will be ours one day, or my name is not Keenathan!" The wind mage struck his trademark pose before resuming his magic, waving his arms as glittering magic flowed between his fingers, channeling the wind into gusts that blew against the sails. Zale's ears pricked at a soft chuckling sound. He turned to see Klee'shae watching the group. Her gaze softened when she saw Keenathan's and Valtraid's antics, though resumed her cold look when she observed Zale watching her. "Aye.." she murmured softly.
"All in due time, mateys." Yolande squinted at the approaching landmass shrouded in a thick cloak of what looked like clouds. "For now we're 'bout to hit the docks. Look alive, and brace yerselves!"

BG3 Patch 4 woes
Update: *waves a white flag* Puts all my mods back into the game and most of the old saves. Even after removing the mods, reinstalling the game, and updating my graphics card the damn kiss still doesn't work. So. I. GIVE. UP!
I only have the kiss on Anna so, after weighing all the pros and cons, I'm just going to keep my mods and progress. Given Anna's game was started waaay back when the full game dropped, and all the patches she's been through, I wouldn't be surprised if perhaps the kiss only glitched with just her. Cautiously optimistic Larian will fix the kiss for everyone eventually. Until then I'm just going to just play and try to enjoy the rest of the game.
....
Previously:
(Just venting here. Feel free to ignore it.)
Yesterday, after I noticed we got hotfix for patch 4, I decided to load up my oldest save with Anna and tried to kiss Astarion. As usual, since patch 4 dropped, I got nothing. Frustrated, I changed Anna's hairstyle back to her old default one and tried to kiss him again. Nothing. I then created a new save and closed the game. After I removed all my mods I loaded up that new save and discovered I can't even click on anything now.
"Great, just fucking great!" I mutter to myself as I created another save after removing all the mods. I then shut down the game, booted it back up, and reloaded the "fresh save" in the hopes that would fix it.
Nope! Of course, it did not work. Again, I couldn't click on anything. I next tried to make a new game. I got the infamous half-a-dozen naked guys around the Dragonborn Durge chilling in the astral area bug. Never in my life have I been so disappointed at seeing so many pixel dicks at once.
So yeah, at this point, I'm pretty sure I've lost everything. Still, I try not to cry about it. Instead I look at it as a chance to start fresh. To widdle down all my Tav's and Durges I made to my top favorite five. Plus since I made a habit of taking lots of photos during character creation I figured, "Hey at least I can easily recreate them and this time avoid some of the mistakes I made in the past."
Silver lining and all, right? Before uninstalling, I did try to verify the integrity of the game's files, to no avail. So, I bit the bullet and reinstalled the game. I did back-up my old saves, but I doubt they will work even after the reinstall.
My only complaint is the waiting. It's been well over 15 hours, and the game has still not finished downloading. I'm currently at 61%. Yaaah for potatoe download speeds. If this reinstall doesn't work, I might cry then. As I'll have to uninstall again, dig into the folders, and make sure all files have been purged.
Due to this headache, I think I'm going to run a vanilla mod-free game for the foreseeable future, which sucks because at least two of my fav Tavs/Durges use mod heads.
Rest in peace my lovely favorite Tavs and Durges, at least for now. <3
Tumblr media
Vincent: Mod head, hair, and gear. My grump Durge that I won't be able to recreate anytime soon. ;_;
Tumblr media
Gustav: Mod hair and gear. I can recreate him, but I'll miss his lovely fluffy hair and fancy outfits.
Tumblr media
Anna: Just mod hair with her and my oldest play through with the least amount of mods active. She also had the pre-patch 3 dye looks I will dearly miss. The one plus side is I can recreate her in my sleep since I've made her dozens of times over since EA. But she was the only playthrough I had in Act 3 with a repeatable kiss option.
Tumblr media
Tav: Mod head and gear. My other playthrough I won't be able to recreate until BG3 updates slow down or at least stop breaking mods so damn hard.
Tumblr media
"Dammon"
Dammit, okay for him... I might break down and install two mods-but only the two! One that unlocks his eyes for character creation and another that lets me turn any of the companions into him. My thirst is strong for Dammon. I need more of him in my game. This is not negotiable.

SWTOR 7.3 Feedback
Non-spoilery stuff first
No technical glitches that I experienced on two playthroughs on Pubside.  Minus one or two moments with Odessen NPCs wandering around, nothing broke the game or immersion.  All the quests worked for credit; I had the weekly for Ruhnuk not work the time round, so this was nice.
I am aware that there are some financial changes they’re trying to patch back.  Basically, too much is being charged between trades with other players directly and when mailing to alts.  Also!  There is now a 30-day cooldown period between joining a guild and being able to access the guild bank. So get those alts in sooner rather than later, especially if you plan on raiding/doing group stuff with them.
On the Gunslingers and Snipers you now have a 2% per 3 seconds passive heal while in cover  -- level 64 option.  This is a big deal for survivability for these two classes.  I ran dailies and set my companion to DPS.  I had to pause and heal the comp after combat, not myself.   No more glass cannon, but this might be nerfed soon, since it’s a little op.  I’m going to have fun with it while I can.
If you love the Mantellian Privateer or Mira’s Armor from KOTOR II but can’t afford either on Cartel Market, good news:  the Mira set from Bounty Association (the event that comes around every 1-2 months) is now unlockable in collections.  So if you have a Mando char that goes hard on Bounty week, you now have a new cert sink + unlock with Cartel Points for the whole account.  There are some subtle differences in the outfits for the discerning Space Barbie player.
The Date Nights don’t happen in this patch; I would guess it will probably be activated during Night Life in July. Speculation on my part, though
Non-Spoilery Plot Stuff:  A lot of characters that we had the previous option to kill are present in this patch.  This really gives me hope for future content; I previously complained that Bioware was writing to the deadest version of the game (where they assume everyone is dead and only work with Lana).  We got A LOT of coverage with ‘optional’ characters, so this does give me hope for the future writing: assume everyone is alive, and some people get less content.  I’ll talk about what that means later for this patch.
Onward to spoilery stuff.
Torian does get an Alliance alert, which his ba’vodu Eva answered; this is unromanced I feel good about the Torian piece I just reblogged, because it seems consistent with what we see here.  Torian thought the drama over his father was over, the shame was done, the name redeemed -- and there is all is, resurrected from the dead.  Even more content with our neighborhood Mando really does make me want equivalent content with Vette; given that (shitty) decision was almost 7 years ago now and we JUST got a storyline with payoff for that choice, Vette needs some love now, romantic or platonic, beyond Date Night.
The only downside to letting Torian live at the moment, especially if you’re a smug or bh, is that you lose quality screen time with Akaavi Spar on Ruhnuk. She comes to your rescue in the final fight.  I also feel as if this scene should have been back with the 6.2 content drop, when the banner is first stolen, but it does work here as well, with the burning of it compounding all of Torian’s feelings about his history.
While Eva does hate that burnt tater thot, the content for Arcann was really good.  I actively wonder if they are pulling things from the aborted third KotXX expansion.  THIS is the character development many of us wanted to see before romancing him: we wanted to see the realization of what he’d done, the desire to fix things, the acknowledgement it may never be enough for some people.  Ding Ding Ding!  I did view both versions of the Darth Nul investigation -- I killed him on DS Eva and let him live on my sunshine and Rainbows LS smug Dyo -- and the version with Arcann in it is so much better.  You also get an additional scene with him; romanced folks get a hug!
Like the Torian scene, this Arcann development probably should have been earlier in the plotline, but WAAAAY earlier -- like 6+ years.  I think before the romance trigger, most definitely, but at least by the time of Nathema, especially if the Commander takes any of his advice to heart regarding Theron.  I think this falls to fan fic writers to fix, in terms of char dev.
As I mentioned above, both of these guys are killable.  And they got some great content this patch.  The story feels better with both of them in it.
As for our dynamic duo, Lana and Theron do show up and play a vocal role with Shae in regard to the interrogation of Malgus.  Theron does get to call Shae out on her working with Malgus to sack Coruscant 2x years ago (I have no idea what year we’re in since COVID screwed everything up).  We also get wonderfully protective partners in Lana and Theron.  Theron makes a comment that the work among other “benefits” keep him young if you’ve romanced him -- poor Lana.  There is noticeable smoldering going on between him and the romanced PC.  Theron does provide significant dialogue content and reaction shots, even though he’s killable.  And of course you get a Theron letter, which alludes to Date Night.  In sum, I don’t think Theron was at all side-lined compared to Lana.
The one weak part of all this is the tenuous connection between the Voss and Malgus’s plans.  In part, it’s becacuse Sana Rae had to be on Voss and decided to kill a few birds with one stone (or one Commander).   It boils down to a vision in which the PC saves the galaxy again.  We do get the tidbit that if we outright kill Malgus, things happen faster, but ‘things’ are ‘inevitable.’  Some of the ‘mundane’ quests verge on the ridiculous, but Star Wars always stomps on character hubris when it can.
Did I enjoy going back to Voss?  Yup.  Did it make sense, given the nature of the Arcann content?  Yup; if you didn’t spare Arcann, this feels more contrived than if you did, in my opinion.  If I recall correctly, Voss was supposed to be visited in an earlier expansion but that was also canned.
The transition from Bioware to Broadsword may be bringing old things back to life to ‘finish’ the game -- or start a new beginning.  I remain optimistic.  I will say that the old story of Voss and the new story post Eternal Empire does spin together well.
Good patch, in my opinion, minus the issues with the economic system that are ongoing.

BG3 Santa Playthrough #5
Finding The Healer Nettie:
Yet another person endangered by those wretched goblins! She gave me one of those terrible upsetting soul coins for saving her life, why are they so commonplace around here?!
Why are these children yelling at each other? Perhaps I can help resolve this quarrel, if they’re fighters than they should stay, to protect the children at the very least!
This ox is unusual, I hope it is of no danger to the tieflings here. I’d hate to lengthen my naughty list.
Oh look it’s that young man from before! He’s teaching the children to protect themselves, a terrible necessity. They should be laughing and playing! Not fighting! If it means wiping all trace of goblin from this place to protect them, I’ll do it.
So he’s hunting devils, dangerous business, imps were bad enough, if she’s out there we ought to stop her!
This woman is poisoned, what kind of “nice old woman” would do something like that! It’s the least we can do to fix her up!
These children seem to have made a habit of stealing. None of them seem to have parents, I fear it may be out of necessity, hopefully this behavior does not fester. I think it’s safe to say I won’t have to worry about this Silfy girl turning to such things in the future, poor dear. Mattis may have to go on the naughty list if he’s not careful.
This bard, Volo, is quite silly, might as well indulge him he’s clearly writing a children’s book, though maybe going to a goblin camp is a bit dangerous. Hope he’ll be alright!
They’ve taken a child? My gods what kind of druids are these?! We must go help her!
This woman dares threaten a child! That is not what I was taught of Silvanus, the great woodsman would never condone such things! Surely she must see reason! Thank goodness she’s capable of it.
Shadowheart is hurting, she seems to every time we do a kindness, perhaps that is why she sees it as weakness. Whoever did this to her is DEFINITELY on my naughty list! Poor thing is afraid of wolves too, perhaps I shouldn’t have turned into one back at Jergal’s temple. Though she didn’t seem scared then.
Gale appreciates what I’ve done, though I hope that girl has learned that sticky fingers tend to smudge at the best of times.
Of course, sticky fingers against greater evils might be acceptable, and I’m starting to think maybe these particular “druids” should be on the naughty list, given what we’ve seen. It seems we must investigate Kagha’s unpleasant allies if we’re to help these tieflings.
At last we’ve found Nettie! Let’s tell her what happened and hope she can help us! I ought to be honest with her, its the best policy after all! The more she knows the more she can help us!
Could everyone please stop suggesting my death as an alternative to whatever is happening to us! First Astarion, now this woman! So long as I draw breath I will use every effort bring joy and safety to children and I’m not about to let anyone put that in jeopardy. Not even myself I suppose, I will take it, but only to appease her. And if it comes odien to it… protect what matters most. There are children in this grove, after all.
Perhaps this Halsin will have a gentler solution than what the dwarf has given us. Best we go find him, but first, to resolve this nastiness between Kagha and Zevlor!

Gone ahead and updated Tavanna's playlist with the new and updated (and fixed) Astarion kiss scene, the fixed Astarion romance ending, and a selection of videos from the epilogue of Tavanna reuniting with her friends. A few highlights (some in the videos, some not);
Shadowheart remains a sweetheart. I let her take the owlbear, and she was so excited. I've also seen clips that Bing-Bong from the D&D game the cast played is canon now, which is such a fun easter egg!
Tara is there with Gale; in Tavanna's playthrough, he's a teacher of illusion magic! He also wants Tavanna and Astarion to come and give a talk to his students one day, which is hilarious to me.
There was a letter from Dammon asking after Karlach, wanting to know if she was okay and alive 🥺
Scratch wants to play fetch with the astral prism.
Jaheria asked Tavanna about her idea of home and if she wanted children in the future. Tavanna replied that Astarion is her home and that she'd be open to having two children so they could fight each other (my god, children that are cross dhampir and whatever Tavanna is now. Bhaalspawn? Whatever her connection with Withers is? The world is not ready).
Orpheus sent a letter too. Hope you're doing fine, space squid ✨
Wyll and Karlach are tearing it up in Avernus - Wyll especially. There may also be hope for Karlach and her engine yet! (Also, Karlach's new outfit for the party is killer omg?)
The Gur sent Astarion a letter to say thank you, telling him how their children are getting on and that his relationship with his bloodlust is the reason they're giving them a chance. Sebastian also sent a letter about how the spawn are getting along, and that he's thankful they got free from Cazador.
Said vampire is antisocial. Tavanna caught him sitting at the table playing with a knife, and then stealing alcohol. smh this man is a child.
Tavanna's full playlist can be found here.

first of all I LOVE harry potter world because of these debates. i really love to read all the different reasonings that everybody has.
this is my take about sebastian’s decision.
SPOILERS AHEAD
READ UNDER YOUR DISCRETION

there’s no way that the punishment for a 15 year old that uses the killing curse under both school and his guardian protection is azkaban. it’s ridiculous even to suggest it. it’s a shame and a tragedy, but there’s no need to ruin his future. there should be an investigation and maybe expusion, but prison it’s excessive and it doesn’t fix anything, it makes it worse for both, anne and sebastian.
ruth singer doesn’t even have the power to imprison the ashwinders and harlow who has been seen throwing curses to children like they were candy. i mean if that’s the previous police record, to punish a child it’s at least hypocrite.
it doesn’t even make an example for the rest of the alumni, it’s just cruel.
even for adults there should be different sentences, it’s kinda harsh to have directly prison and nothing else. no community hours, no reintegration to society, just throw them in a cell and forget about them. how mature, really.
also i don’t understand why the school doesn’t teach about the unforgivables, they just tell you that you don’t have to use them. like, ok, but why? i’m literally a child, you have to teach me morals, not expect me to submit by them with no explanation. show me the consequences, show me what to expect if i even toy with the possibility. i don’t know, if you want to you can even scare me about it. death, torture and manipulation are concepts really far from a child’s mind. the names themselves aren’t enough.
i understand the parents not wanting to teach their children about it, but the school has an obligation. it’s similar to the sexual ed in schools. no matter your beliefs, you have to have the talk. otherwise you’re a danger to yourself and to others.
i would expect the school to have responsibility over this episode. it’s their fault as much as sebastian’s. they didn’t watch over him. they didn’t gave him support after her sister being cursed. they just get him to detention every time he gets into trouble and that’s it. way to go to make him understand limits and obligations.
sorry but i don’t oblige to the high standard hypocrite morals that the “right” path force you to have. there’s no playthrough where i’d choose the prison option, i don’t believe in it, and ominis can keep his matters to himself.
he should learn from kogawa, she says that her friend’s destiny was hers to take, she didn’t impose her beliefs over her, she respects that. it’s not about not being a snitch, it’s really about not playing god and believing you have power over anyone that it’s not yourself.

and my final point is that he CLEARLY regrets it. in the aftermath he gets what the consequences are. he should have had the opportunity to learn about it without committing any of it. that’s what school it’s about.
all wizards are a danger to themselves and to others, that’s why they are schooled as soon as they show magical abilities. because they have to learn to control it, not only in practice, but in the emotional aspect of it.
and for solomon, i won’t say a word. i know what it feels like to have an abusive upbringing. it breaks you, but for whatever reason sebastian’s pretty well spirited and a kind person, and also is anne. the way solomon acts makes me think that he’s the child, and not the twins. it shouldn’t have come to that, but he doesn’t not deserve it.
