These cafe window boxes were a great combination of colours and sizes with large purple and white Petunia cultivars and a range of small, soft coloured Lobelia cultivars. The purple flowers of the Petunia will smell great, especially in the evening, as they are the most heavily fragrant of the colours.

we spoke before about immediated and hypermediated technology. immediated technology tries to disappear, immersing the user as if in an experience unmediated by technology; while hypermediated technology draws attention to itself, reminding the user of the mediation of their experience.

the immediation of the past has sometimes become the hypermediation of today. the 'Frutigier Aero' aesthetic that has become popular is one example; the shiny transparent windowboxes and translucent plastics were conceived to avoid intruding on a digital experience, but are now valued as a mediator for the ways they fail to.

giving Sephiroth an old tabby cat with 1 eye who despite getting into fights for years survived to 12 and now just wants to spend her cat retirement sleeping and scratching

Honestly? Same. VERY same, as far as Sephiroth's concerned.

So much so that he gathers the old tabby in his arms and very gently sets her down on his windowbox, letting her lounge to her heart's content. She has all the food and scratching posts she could ever want. Sephiroth is determined to let her enjoy her final years in peace.
