#wip: waih

hey this is chance and here’s week 4’s prompt. how do strangers within the world view your protagonists? how would they describe them? and how does this contrast against how the protagonist views themself?

Hmmmm, I'll answer this question for the main character of my dystopian novel, Odette Gaile. I don't think strangers tend to like her that much. She has a pretty disheveled appearance from living on the streets for so long, so people wrongly assume bad things about her. And when they see the scar across her face, they make even more wrongful assumptions.

Odette is very vigilant and always aware of her surroundings, and people can tell. People might describe her as being sneaky like a fox, due to how easily she snakes her way through the city and its crowds. This scares people sometimes. Sometimes they get startled due to her anger.

Odette views herself very similarly to how other people do, because of her low self esteem. She tends to think of herself as a bad person, even when she's just doing what she needs to to survive. She is actually a very kind hearted person, and her friends can attest to that. She just doesn't believe them. :(

dayurno i love you…… that poem…… waih. that really is how it feels for jeremy at the beginning of the fic!!!! kevjean are soooo desperately in love and he’s very aware his feelings have no place in that (until invited ^-^). they let him see all their little domestic moments no one else can see. jeremy is so content with having the summer with them and breaking his own heart at the end of it….. aaiigh. i won’t go on a huge tangent again just Thank you i love you im feeling extra inspired tonight now… kerejean idiots in love

it always does so break my heart when fics take that turn with poly relationships it is very common but it always hurts like its fresh again i swear. in niknak22's in the light of day i seriously almost rolled around on the ground and waited for death to come for me i think there is something so deeply heartbreaking about getting what you want but not in the way you want it / not permanently. aiya... i'm sorry jeremy.... but it will be okay. don't cry. you'll see!
