𝐈𝐓 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐎𝐍𝐄 of these days that Neva takes one of her man's dogs to go on a stroll… This one is a different kind of walk because she decided to do some hiking with Amanda. If Ryan didn't have such giant dogs, she would bring the three of them, but that wasn't the case, one of the puppies seemed didn't like her, the other wasn't that obedient and was ginormous and the one that she could 'control' better was Houston. Besides, she didn't want to lose any of them. ( It was wise to bring the only dog she could control ) . She texted the other woman to the address and went by Uber since her car was still unavailable, arriving on the local with such punctuality. Neva was incredibly punctual, and rarely did she delay. She had her backpack, and holding the leash of Houston that was right by her side, she petted its head and stuck out its tongue watching people at their surroundings.

Now that I finally named these two dorks I can talk about them...

Quick rundown of characters:

Daniel Henderson, 30

Was going to work with his father at his dental office but got too nervous about screwing up, so he dropped out of college. He struggles to keep a job. He and his wife, Amanda, have known each other since they were kids. They have been married for a year longer than a decade.

Amanda Henderson, 29

Has worked at the same shitty job forever. She struggles with severe self-destructive tendencies. She and Daniel got engaged while they were still in high school. She often has to be the responsible one out of the two of them, even though she doesn't have a responsible bone in her body.

They are nowhere near a perfect couple. They're still very emotionally immature and struggle to have a healthy bond. They're joint at the hip and have been for so long, they have no idea how the world looks without the other. Amanda has wondered if she should leave Daniel despite loving him so much, but he causes a lot of strain on their relationship, and sometimes, she thinks she deserves better.

As the initial beams of spring sunlight wove their way across the Bronx River, Colson found himself immersed up to his knees in its waters, actively participating as a volunteer for the annual spring cleaning event orchestrated by the Bronx River Association. Protecting his ankles from the cold seep of water were well-worn boots, poised for donation to the local Goodwill. Equipped with tools for collecting trash and sturdy gloves, he navigated through the tranquil flow, meticulously combing the riverbed for any refuse tarnishing its innate splendor.

Amidst the chaos of discarded plastic bottles and wrappers, a glimmer of metal snagged Colson's attention—an enigmatic discovery concealed among the river rocks. Enthralled by curiosity, he bent down and retrieved the object, scrutinizing it with keen interest. Turning to a nearby fellow volunteer, he showcased the find—a weathered pocket watch, its intricate mechanisms seemingly suspended in time. "Hey, take a look at this," Colson exclaimed, signaling for the other person to approach. "Any guesses how old this might be?" he inquired, a glint of fascination illuminating his gaze.

Leo: hey, I’ve got an idea-

The Aviators:

Leo: so first we get some fuel in our jets-

Viper: Absolutely fucking not. Demerit. 

Crick: *bursting into the room and slams door shut clearly panicked*

Duckie: oh god what did you do?!

Crick: nobody died!

Duckie: WHAT KIND OF ANSWER IS THAT!

Tee: I have a question.

Duckie: yeah?

Tee: can a person breathe in a washing machine while it’s on?

Duckie:

Tee: obviously this is all hypothetical-

Duckie: WHERE is Cricket?

Leo: books are for nerds.

Duckie: *smacks Leo on the head with a book*

Leo: NOOOO!

Leo: MY HAIR!

Leo: DUCKIE WHHHYYYY

Leo: *sobs loudly* I LOOK LIKE TEE!!

Tee: HEY!

Leo: *sobs in corner*

Crick: *tries to slap Leo’s ass as he walks past by*

Crick: *misses, trips and falls*

Leo: *tries to catch Crick but overbalances*

Leo: *tries to hold a chair for support*

Chair: *breaks*

Leo: *falls on top of Crick*

Duckie: *watching* it’s like watching two animals do an out-of-sync and very destructive mating dance.

Pregnant Chloe: you think we have enough responsibility to bring a child into this bunch of people and raise it?

Tee: Chloe, your problem is, is that you still see us as those idiots we were at school, when we were young, stupid and mostly high. But look at us now!

Leo:

Duckie: Leo’s hair is shorter.

Teacher: Mr. Wolfe, Ms Pruitts, I know it seems worthless to even ask but, Did you spike the Snowball Dance punch?

Duckie: something goes wrong, you blame us…

Cricket: after all these years, where’s the trust?

[pause]

The Trio: yes, we did.

Crick: Duckie. Prince Charming loves you.

Duckie: yeah, I’ve heard.

Crick: so will you go out with him?

Duckie: of course not.

Crick: PLEASE, DUCKIE!!

Duckie: I’m not sorry.

Crick: you don’t understand what you’re doing!

Duckie: I’m saying no to going out with the most arrogant guy in town.

Crick: no, he’s holding my chocolates hostage until I get you to agree to date him. Duckie PLEASE!!

Whiskey: well, honestly my favorite chocolate is-

Leo: *puts a hand over her mouth* Whiskey no

[distant rumbling]

Daisy: you can’t just go around saying that word!

Chatter: she didn’t know Daze!

Daisy: but still!

[house shakes]

Duckie: ..she said it didn’t she?

Dragon: said what-

[door bursts open]

Crick: DID SOMEONE SAY CHOCOLATE?!

Leo: why did Wood search ‘pretty names for a baby girl’ ARE YOU PLANNING TO HAVE A BABY?

Duckie: not that I’m aware of no. Maybe I should ask him?

Duckie: *after a few minutes* no, but he said ‘we’re planning to have a niece’, so maybe you should ask yourself, are you having a baby?

Leo: am I having a baby?

Clearly the correct choice for "a character who was really well-loved to go to kick off the nurses strike" would've been Charlie. I mean seriously he's barely even in it these days anyway and not having to pay Derek Thomspon's massive salary for the 5 seconds of screen time he gets every other episode would save them a hell of a lot of money!

Jon Sen can make all these changes to the show but he still isn't brave enough to kill Charlie off smh

Pretty Boy: *opens a window*

Leo: we call it a vibe check from God.

Ice & Slider: *eye twitches*

Beau: new rule: no animals in the house.

Crick: wow, you’re really gonna throw Duckie out like that?

Beau: *whacks Crick on the head*

Duckie: Cricket stop! I promised dad we wouldn’t do anything dangerous!

Cricket: *in a child’s wagon on top of a hill* I can’t believe you would just lie to our father like that.

Duckie: *laughs & hops in the wagon w/ her sister* I’m just kidding, he doesn’t give a fuck what we do now.

Duckie & Cricket: *after doing something dumb* don’t blame us! It was like 3 am, our brain cells were sleeping!
