"Thanks for coming over," Laurel said gruffly, balanced precariously on the dining room chair she'd brought up and frowning as she reached deep into the back of the top shelf of her closet. "The movers put all of this shit in places I can't—" a fruitless swipe at the box, "fucking reach."
Boxes they'd put off unpacking for years had been dragged in from their closets and the guest room and were now strewn around the bedroom, half-opened. It was mostly old keepsakes, pictures, a high school sweatshirt or other odd piece of clothing, but she figured it'd been long enough; maybe her place could use a little more personality.
"There's Thai takeout on the way — as promised," they said, finally getting a hand on the box. With a groan of effort, she pulled it out and stepped down from the chair before tossing it carelessly on her bed. She reached for the beer on her bedside table. "I think that's all of 'em." They glanced over at Dallas. "You find anything good over there?"

The ball was sent on a missile toward her, and Astrid bent her knees in preparation to receive it. It connected with her shoulder before falling to the grass below, and then she was in motion, building speed as she headed down the goal on the other side of the field and keeping her eyes on Dallas on defense all the while.
She was ready to send the ball straight through his legs when she felt a twinge shoot from the top of her right shin to her knee, sending her stumbling and the ball spinning away from her. "Fuck!" she yelled, her voice echoing across the otherwise empty field.
Shoulders heaving, she slouched down onto the grass. "I just need a second," she told Dallas. "Five minutes, then we go again."

Im making this post at the beach but my thoughts of the outsiders/that was then, this is now chracthers at the beach
I can totally see ponyboy and Johnny sitting on the wet sand and watching the waves come in. Johnny can’t swim and in my opinion- pony is scared of whatever tf is in the water so they just kinda sit there. Maybe dig and collect some sea shells.
Steve and soda are in the water. I can totally see them splashing each other with the water or trying to see who can hold their breath longer. If they bring Evie and Sandy then it just becomes a fight of chicken.
Soda also seems like the type to sit out in the sun and tan. He’s the only one that comes back looking all tan while Darry and pony look as red as a tomato and are sun burnt to a crisp.
Dally doesn’t know how to swim but he won’t tell anyone that so he just stay’s on the sand. Maybe puts a foot in the water but is most likely walking around trying to talk to any girl around.
Two bit is just- somewhere. He’s everywhere. If he brings his little sister then they are so making sand castles or even burying each other in the sand. He also brings a whole pack of beers and will most definitely sneak them in even if one of the beach rules is to not bring any alcohol.
Darry is just lying on his beach chair. He’s very much the type to just fall asleep in the beach chair and come back home sun burnt asf. I can also see him maybe even helping two bit and his sister with the sand castles, adding the sea shells Johnny and pony collected.
If the Shepards go to the beach yk damn well these Dominicans tan so good.
Angela is tanning with soda and talking about any of the recent drama she heard cause I know damn well she’s a hater [ same ] or she’s in the water splashing curly just to mess with him. Curly is being an actual bastard and splashing anyone in sight or sneaking up on them from behind and scaring them in the water.
My man tim is with Darry and just laying on the beach chairs or he’s in the water with curly. Having to pull curly away from people cause he almost starts a fight. I also think he would have the coolest sunglasses ever- he feels so badass with them 💀
It’s funny asf if you think m&m would even step foot on a beach and if he does poor boy is getting BURNT. He is not a beach person what so ever and will never be one. Bryon is not one for the beach too so I rlly don’t see him ever going to one unless mark goes- then he has to go.
Mark and Terry in my opinion are just doing the same thing curly is doing- just messing with people. That would really be the only reason they went.

I’m just got done watching the DCC documentary and all I have to say is if I was one of the girls that made it, got uniformed, ultimately got cut, and then heard the shit the women in charge said about me the entire time behind my back… that would actually be my villain origin story I’m being so serious

"Welcome back to 'Good Morning Storybrooke'. We're talking to our neighbours about some recent sighting and odd occurrences in, and around, our town!"
"Well, there have been some disappearances, some possible deaths. So I would say, sort of... normal."
"I heard someone saw a huge bird."
"Huge... hairy... bird."
"A winged monkey, aye."
"Enormous."
"Angry."
"It was far more dangerous overhead than a bird, in every way."
"I... parked my car in the wrong place."
"The Evil Queen's probably behind it."
"I have nothing to do with this."
"If it's not Regina, we'll have to find out who it is."
"Mm hmm, I'm gonna go move my truck-"
"This has been a 'Good Morning Storybrooke' special report!"
