I’m just very obsessed with the idea that mihawk is useless in a weapon less fight like he cannot throw a punch or get out of a pin to save his life like one he can’t kick he’s done out for the count, and this is why Shanks ends most of their duels this way. Because he’s a filthy cheater and Mihawk is even worse off because it’s Shanks pining him and he has eaten a lot of dirt.
Shanks decides to teach him the art of fighting dirty cause he’s nice that way but also let’s just say that Shanks likes being in a pin a little too much

We have little American Toadlets in my parent's yard, and I've been (carefully) scooping them up out of dog-gobbling range and releasing them into my mother's cabbages in hopes they do something about the cabbage moth caterpillars. Some of them chill out, enjoy their hand-ride and photograph well, like this portly little creature.

I’m a very city girl and now I’m imagining going to the country side and meeting farmtale Sans…
You moved there for some reason and need a place to stay, Sans was kind enough to give you somewhere to stay with some chores to do to lower your rent. You’re not experienced and you’re not that good with the chores- sometimes farm animals freak you out (cows are big, theres so many chickens, what iS THAT GIANT SPIDER?!), you can’t move heavy stuff around, even the tools are heavy for you.
And… Sans thinks you’re cute. He can do the work you do much faster than you could, but he likes your company. Every time you drop a stack of hay and panic he can’t help but chuckle and throw it on top of the pile in his arms. He likes how you’re impressed by his skill with tools and the fact that he can drive tractors. You may not be good at your job, but he likes that you want to learn anyway. You like the animals when he teaches you how to read their behavior better.
He really likes it when he saves you from a giant bug and you give him “my hero” eyes…
“those darn eyes are gonna be the death of me.”

Then, on his arrival in Constantinople, after much counsel with himself, considering that he was already unequal to the amount of pressing business and believing that there was no room for delay, on the twenty-eighth of March he brought the aforesaid Valens into one of the suburbs and with the consent of all (for no one ventured to oppose) proclaimed him Augustus. Then he adorned him with the imperial insignia and put a diadem on his head, and brought him back in his own carriage, thus having indeed a lawful partner in his power, but, as the further course of our narrative will show, one who was as compliant as a subordinate.
No sooner were these arrangements perfected without disturbance than both emperors were seized with violent and lingering fevers--

this was one of those illustrations that was originally supposed to be a 5 page comic until I realized I don't know anything about later roman empire architecture or visuals or art or anything, so we'll revisit that later. maybe
for right now though, these two are fascinating. we have two brothers acting as one body, even becoming ill in tandem with each other, it's giving This Throne Is Cursed. like, the last time I read about emperors coming down with life threatening illnesses, it was Caligula, and that moment in his biography marked a very specific tone shift. I spent the rest of the (first) time reading about Valens and Valentinian waiting for something comparable to Caligula's reign to happen lmao (Dio 59. 8. 1-2)
and since Caligula was already on the mind, I started thinking about Tiberius: I think he would've loved these two since he had a whole thing about twin-ification and brothers and etc etc etc. ofc, Rome is both a Mouth and a Tomb, so it's going to go badly for someone/everyone eventually, but honestly I think that Valentinian and Valens were the best we could've hoped for. like it could've been so much worse

seriously who is doing it like belos. he’s striving towards utopia and only humans are worthy of this utopia in his eyes and in order to get to utopia he has to sacrifice his humanity by becoming a witch. and this utopia never cared for him! the only person that cared for him was his brother and his brother left him for a witch and when given the choice he followed caleb into hell and spent years looking for him, and when he found him? he killed him. and then he spent the rest of his life bringing him back, making him better each time, purer each time. and every time there’s a part of him that thinks he’s done it, maybe this one is his brother, but each and every one commits the same sin, and each and every one dies by his hand. but he can’t stop now, he can’t give up. he’s on the threshold of utopia and a human calls him belos and he says no, it’s philip. call me by my human name. tell me i am worthy of utopia. and she tells him that his utopia is gone, and she calls him philip, and she brands him as a witch anyway. his utopia is not the human world. his utopia is and always has been a world where there are no witches and he is philip and his brother is holding his hand.

hey, uh, its ok to headcanon characters as ace!
it is even okay to headcanon traumatized characters as ace!
gay, lesbian, bisexual, or pansexual characters can also be ace!
asexuals can also, in fact, still find people attractive! what a concept!
it doesn't hurt anyone to let people have ace headcanons!!!
