Changing the ending
Recently, Clockwork started treating dimensional events like a TV show. He could be time itself but he wasn't going to take care of all the dimensions; considering the number of times they destroyed themselves it really didn't make sense.
Danny accompanied him, it was quite funny, and there was a dimension that he liked to observe, Clockwork called him "How to die a thousand times" but the halfa only called it "Detective Comics" or "DC" for short. Everything about it reminded him of a comic if he was being honest.
It was a messy dimension, it had been reset so many times it was worrying and had several alternate line screens that ended very badly. Danny winced at the DC Zombies screen combining with another, that dimension worked in weird ways.
Both he and Clocky prepared for the season finale, a reveal about a hero named "Batman", when he saw Clockwork throw his popcorn at Alfred's death. His mentor was devastated, he used to avoid using his future vision to not "spoil" the ending, but it was obvious that Alfred was his favorite character.
When all of it ended horribly for the original dimension, Danny and Clockwork looked at each other. That ending was very unsatisfying, so they decided to...change it. They had some time to waste after all.
They disguised themselves as a couple of normal civilians, went back to the start of the problems, and started changing all the bad endings they could find (without interfering with some things, even if Danny wanted to save Jason, Red Hood had to happen).
Spoiler alert: Those heroes die a lot, and apparently they're determined to die!

I’m pretty sure Tommy isn’t going to be in this for the long run, cause we all are set on buddie endgame, but I just have to say the man that Tommy is, is everything to me. The way he waits to gauge where Buck stands before kissing him. The way he asks after if it was okay. The way buck is speechless and flustered (bothered and bewildered, should I say), but having a moment of realisation that this is what he was looking for. Tommy’s no games or beating round the bush - Saturday, I’ll pick you up at 8. Like I am on board for however long or short Tommy may last and I am going to enjoy every last second of it.

arthur/aria: "why did you help me?"
The Orangery was mysteriously locked that day, which meant that Aria and Arthur found themselves walking at a leisurely pace back and forth the length of the Great Hall.
"What do you mean?" Aria feigned ignorance, though she had been wondering if the topic would come up that day.
The Queen Marian had been distraught two nights previous when Aria had happened upon her later in the evening that she normally would have been out in the castle halls. She'd been engrossed in a book in the library and had lost track of time.
Arthur was unwell, it seemed, and Marian was pacing outside his rooms, going on about a strange childhood illness that had resurfaced to a doctor that seemed unwilling to listen. Aria had heard voice, clear as day, in her head as she watched the event unfold.
"Poison."
Aria hadn't known if the voice was real or if she was imagining things but she had ordered for the maids to bring a tonic up for the prince.
Arthur was wearing blue that day, a strange departure from his normal attire. It made his eyes even brighter, though she could see a lingering fatigue in them as well. Regardless, he was not deterred from his questioning.
"You brought me a tonic. It tasted terrible."
"It should. That means I made it properly."
"You stayed with me. And my mother. Why?" Arthur pressed. Aria found herself growing more frustrated with each question. She had stayed until the early hours of the morning, but at the Queen's insistence.
"What do you want me to say, Imperial Highness?" Aria demanded. "Is there an answer you want to hear? You were unwell, your mother was distraught, so I stayed to offer what help I could. What more do you want to hear?"
Arthur said nothing, his eyes instead focused on the second level of the hall. Aria followed his gaze to see the other Queen, Amira, walking briskly down the length before disappearing from view. She didn't seem to have even noticed the pair
"Poison! Poison! Poison!"
"Are you unwell?" Arthur was looking at her now, Aria realized.
"I... I think I need to lie down," Aria brought her hand to her forehead. "I'm sorry to cut this--" she stopped. What was this, these walks the pair took now almost daily?
"Perhaps the Orangery will be open tomorrow," she concluded as her parting words before hurrying off at a brisk pace.
Eilia was not in their rooms when she returned which, for perhaps the only time in these past two years, was what Aria had hoped. The young woman approached the hearth of their sitting room fireplace, kneeling down in front of it.
"I don't know if you can hear me... if you're even here... if you're the voice in my head..." Aria whispered into the fire. "Please hold on. We haven't given up." She paused.
"And if that was a warning... thank you."

Aforementioned Napoleonic AU! Martian !! I said it would just be a wip but then oops, I basically finished it! Ty to everyone who was interested :D
Really really proud of these I'm ngl! I rendered in a really different way than ever before and I'm very satisfied with it :D
Ramble about historical influences(basically me being a nerd about who I consider the F1 drivers of the Napoleonic era):
So I wanted to explain my thought process because I think that the specific context behind the uniforms I drew is very relevant, as I didn't just pick them on a whim.
I drew them in Hussars' uniforms(Austrian Empire = Red Bull, but like obviously not 100% accurate because the uniform colors are based off the RBR racesuits.) Hussars are, in my opinion, the F1 drivers of their time. Let me quote several things that led me to this conclusion:
"During the Napoleonic period, hussars, as in all armies, were employed as scouts, given raiding missions or despatched to harry and pursue a defeated enemy on the run. Mounted on light, nimble horses..."
"...Their flamboyant costume and their reputation for daredevil acts..."
"...developed a romanticized image of being dashing and adventurous.
Okay....so they're dashing and adventurous, riding specifically on fast, light horses, dressed in flamboyant outfits committing daredevil acts...sir that is literally an F1 driver!!! Tell me they aren't the historical predecessor to F1 drivers!!!
I have this big book of Napoleonic uniforms(yea I'm a nerd) and I was paging through it to see what uniforms I wanted to draw(I have a habit of drawing my one oc in the Napoleonic era. So when I started drawing fanart, I'm like of course I must draw them as this!) Austria's normal uniforms in this era are soooo boring compared to France's, so I was really 😒 about drawing them, but then I came across the Hussars, and then started noticing all these similarities and thought it was perfect. Also I need to mention the fact that Austria's royal cipher at the time was literally this:
IT'S "F1", IT IS LITERALLY FUCKING F1, WHAT THE HELLLLL!?!?!?!? I had like a partial mental crisis coming across this, at that point it was destiny for me to draw this
*I forgot to include actual ref images 😐, so here you go!!
*I wrote most of his around when I started this drawing, which was all the way back in April. And it's really interesting to consider now that I was basically immersed in the history of the Austrian Empire for a month. I apologize to everyone in my life who had to endure my lecture on why Hussars are the F1 drivers of their time. But god I could not hold it back when I saw some of these uniforms in person. And it was cool to pull out this drawing, even if it was just a wip, and be like "oh hey I've drawn these!!" Anyways, I digress.
Obviously the martian drawing is a direct reference to this pic from Malaysia 2010:
My thoughts on this picture:
I almost wanted to draw Seb in the Austrian Kaiser's outfit, but it is nowhere near as slay as the Hussar uniform, so Hussar uniform it is!
I have many thoughts and opinions on the lore of this au so pls ask if you're curious but it's also just a lot.
