lmao, but for real, you're fine, even though it IS a sensitive subject, especially considering the theatres involved.

TL;DR: Lots of anguish, as the Seven are forced to watch the world not just fall into war, but to see the nations they once called home and the peoples they called brethren fall into oppression, genocide, and general bloodshed. I could have sworn I've written a similar piece regarding WW2-era Spain and Italy in the blog but I can't find it. I'll keep it general and avoid specifics as to avoid touching upon the pain still felt by the people who especially got it bad from WW2 such as the Jewish population and the Chinese. But ALL Seven felt it.

From my readings so far, I think the one least affected by it all is Rashid? The Ottoman Empire has fallen for some decades by then, so what became the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has declared neutrality, and I am not finding much notes on this nation beyond declaring war on Germany at almost literally the last minute then doing nothing about it.

Meanwhile I’m mostly finding things on Cuba and Puerto Rico when it comes to Latin America and the Caribbean, but not so much with Haiti. Abena does take in comfort that Ghana was never a warfront in the grand scheme of the wars, mostly participating as suppliers manpower for the Allies (as Ghana was a part of the British Empire at the time).

Everyone else... not so feeling good. I don’t think I need to describe Josep’s feelings on Francoist Spain, or Giovanni on Fascist Italy, or Ruixiong on Japanese-occupied China. And of course the Twins on France and the entire European Jewish population. As much as they are removed from the nations of that time considering it is not the same as it was in the 1500s-1600s, it’s still their people, their brethren, and the descendants of the neighbors and friends they considered a part of their home. 

And the worst part of all this? The absolute worst part? The part wherein Cappn is all “EVIL”?

The Master is absolutely LOVING the Second World War. So much pain, so much hatred, so much death. He might even encourage the Seven to go on a soul raid here and there should any combat take place in the seas. By the time it’s all over, the Crew basically entered a state of dormancy because their souls just could not take it. But of course, the Master will insist they continue to search for the Eye. So they have to keep going. No matter what.

Black Vultures ~Closed RP~

They won. He was still processing it despite the world looking the way it did. At the very least, it came from an advantage that didn’t exist within his own timeline, powers that couldn’t exist, or at the very least, didn’t exist when it was needed the most by the enemy. What a disgusting thought, the world he now walked in, an interloper amongst usurpers. Despite how much of a foreigner he was, he couldn’t help but feel a deep seeded desire to fix this problem. A desire to right the wrongs this world has suffered.

Quietly moving through the hallway, Crow did all he could to keep low, and quiet. Armored soldiers easily succumbed to a blade. The neck was always vulnerable. Despite how smart they used the technology to win a war, they couldn’t find out how to protect themselves any better than a knight in the middle ages. Quite the oversight if you asked him, but he was glad no one was asking. Instead, his knife was held low and close to his side, leaving a trail of bloody breadcrumbs.

Pulling another soldier off to the side and slamming his knife deep into the throat, he stared back at his masked foe, watching them slide lifelessly to the floor. He pulled back and pressed up against the wall as one of the final two men guarding his target seemed to hear something. Waiting for them to come around the corner, Crow pulled out his handgun, placed the silenced barrel to the enemies helmet, and put a hole in him. Making a much louder noise, the final soldier ran forward.

Crow stepped from the shadows. His enemy pointed the rifle and ordered him in German to stand down. In one quick motion, Israel ducked down and ran forward, using his left palm to push the gun barrel up. As the gun rang out, he stood up and gripped hold of the back of the armored soldier’s head, forcing his knife deep into his throat before ripping it out, tossing his body to the side. He wiped the knife clean on one of the many red tapestries dangling in the hallway.

“What a mess.” He mumbled, a voice changer within his mask causing his voice to sound like many different voices. Different pitches, different sounds. It was made to make him sound like he could be a guy, girl, or anything really. He shot the lock of the cell with his pistol, letting himself in and approaching the man they held within.

“You. I’m here to get you out of here. I hope you’re ready to go. I doubt those gunshots will go unnoticed for long, and trail of bodies leading right to us is gonna give us away even faster.”

A soft tap on the door awoke Adonis. He groaned, tired from staying up late with his father in Inner Rings City. He rubbed his eyes and sat up just as he heard another tap. His mother, waking him for the day. “Yeah, yeah, I’m up.” he griped.

Today was the first day of his last year in school at his mother’s school for the supernatural in the mortal realm. His parents gave him the choice if he wanted to start doing real royalty work or if he wanted to travel the world first. Truthfully, he wasn’t sure. He had a year to find out, though. He got up and started getting ready for the day. Since it was his first day, he decided to wear his favorite band t-shirt, with the cut-off sleeves just how he liked, paired with his typical black zip up jacket and faded black jeans.

Another tap. Adonis sighed and finally opened the door to his mother—a short woman with white hair just like his but with red tips, and bright red eyes. She smiled at her son. “Are you ready to go? I have to be early, you know.”

“I know how to work the portals, why can’t I just take myself?” he sighed, knowing this was a lost cause. She shook her head before he even finished his sentence. “No. You’ve got to help escort new people to their classes. We always—“

“—always ask them to come early and show them around to help them accommodate to the area. I know, mom. We do this every year.” he rubbed the back of his head, then moved to grab his bag. “Just thought maybe, because it was my last year, I wouldn’t have to do that.”

His father walked up behind his mother and slithered an arm around her waist, handing her a coffee. She accepted it graciously. They kissed each other goodbye, and Adonis made a face. “Gross. Let’s go, ma.”

When they made it to the school, there were several new transfers. With ten minutes to spare, they had one last person to show around for the day. Adonis sighed in relief, for once ready to get to class so he wouldn’t have to make idle conversation about J&R School for the Supernatural (JRSS). He made his way to the office and stuck his head into the waiting area and called out, “Alright, last victim!” he teased.

Personality: funny and awkward. gets in trouble a lot, a lil dumb.

Description: tall, stocky build. white hair, glowing pink eyes, pale skin. black horns, pointed ears and teeth, and thick black tattoos all over his upper body. always has black painted finger nails and several necklaces and rings.

Parents: King and Queen Seven (Zagreus, Decendant of King Hades and Royal Consort Kira) and Ash (Decendant of Aphrodite and Adonis I) Wolfenstein

Adonis is the Prince of the Underworld, but much like his father, he didn’t quite ask for the responsibility. Despite his crude attitude towards a lot of things, he hated the atmosphere of hell. His mother basked in the glory of being Queen, and his father stood up to his unwanted title very well, but Adonis was unsure he was up for the job. Unlike his grandfather, though, his parents were accepting of his uneasiness. But could something possibly change to make him want to stay?

Rules: 18+ mun (the rp may not be themed as such but it’s a preference ((: ) gotta be okay with conversation sometimes cause i like to make friends with people i rp with! Sounded like a gambit right there for him. He still had no reason to trust what Fate said, but at least there was someone out there other than those goddamn jackboots, he’d still take it.

Now where the hell would Caleb be taken to?

The resistance fighter took the vial, and sat down on one of the stone slabs, drinking the whole content. Started with a sip, and then he slowly finished the whole thing.

Whatever the contents of that vial tasted like didn’t matter. Knowing where his friend is was more important.

“...Wait, he’s being hauled off to fucking Seattle of all places? What for??” And it didn’t help that he was currently on literal life support. He was wearing armor underneath his bomber jacket, pants and boots.

All of it reminded him of that tragic day. Poor Caroline didn’t deserve her lights being snuffed out like that.

“That requires coming all the way from here in the middle of Mesquite and I might as well be on my last damn legs.” Blazkowicz shook his head. “And I have something to retrieve from my old house. Nothing but bad memories there, though, so I ain’t gonna stay for that long.”

“...Thanks for that potion, though. How much do I pay? I’ve got some cash with me, just in case.”

Abandoned Mask: A character I no longer roleplay

Luigi (The Four Players)

So, this one's a bit of a weird one, and was admittedly me feeding my own niche interests. This is a take on Luigi from an old Polaris mini-series called The Four Players, which featured grittier takes on Mario, Luigi, Peach and Toad, being The Fixer, The Addict, The Star and The Soldier(which is like, the only one I really don't care for lmao).

A mixture of nobody really interacting with him (save for one person; you know who you are and I still love you for it ;D) and just kinda falling out of roleplaying for a while just made me drop him. Would I pick him up again? I dunno, maybe. But he isn't exactly a popular muse from my old blog, so I don't see him making a huge comeback.

Mask's Calling: A character I'm on the fence about roleplaying

So I was having a hard time with this one(it was this one or an OC), but I think I've landed on a decent candidate.

Rimuru Tempest (That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime)

My girlfriend got me hooked on this anime over the last few months, and we haven't finished it(well, she has, but I only ever watch stuff with her anymore, so I haven't). However, I've been watching TenSura with the thought that I would really like to RP as him.

As it is, I was planning on him maybe taking over my old Villain Deku MHA blog, mostly because I've fallen out of watching My Hero for a good while and the concept I had for Villain Deku was flawed anyway, but I don't know if he would be popular enough to warrant having a whole blog to himself.

Another's Mask: A muse I have on another blog

Cole MacGrath (InFAMOUS 1 and 2) - @the-devils-toybox

InFAMOUS is honestly one of my favorite series. Just ever. For starters, the neon powers used in the game InFAMOUS: Second Son (and subsequently its expansion First Light) inspired Matthew's powers, but Cole is the main character of the first two games.

The basic rundown for the uninitiated is that the series starts off with Cole, a college dropout bike courier, delivering a mysterious package. He suddenly gets a phone call that tells him to open it when he's basically at the heart of the city, an event which causes a massive explosion that kills dozens, but mysteriously grants Cole with electrokinetic abilities.

As the city comes under lockdown, it is full of rioters, looters, and overall just gangs that are trying to take over the city for their own reasons, plenty of them either super powered themselves or run by those with powers. Cole, discovering and learning to use these powers, takes matters into his own hands to either free the city... or to take it over for himself.

I roleplay as both versions of Cole; either the Hero of Empire City, beloved by the people for his selfless acts in the face of adversity, or the Demon of Empire City, a heartless beast who took as much power as he could for himself, ruling the city with an iron fist as revenge against the people for turning on him upon initially finding that it was him at the center of the blast.

...Or I would, if InFamous as a series hadn't fallen out of the public eye. I highly suggest at least giving the games a watch, they're made by the Sly Cooper devs, Sucker Punch.

Try This Mask: A Character you think I can roleplay well

William Joseph "B.J." Blazkowicz (Wolfenstein)

This one's... tricky. See, I would be willing to roleplay as him, but I haven't the slightest goddamn clue about anything Wolfenstein. As it is, I only just recently got into Doom a bit after 2016 came out, and I'm interested in Wolfenstein as well... but I have a huge fucking backlog so I haven't had the time to really get around to looking into it.

Literally all I know are a few funny scenes from... I wanna say Old Blood? I'd need to go and actually play the series for myself before I can definitively pick him up. Or, at the very least, watch all the cutscenes or something lol.
